Jake Bates Dec 14 9:00am CT
    Jake Bates

Detroit Lions kicker Jake Bates has turned a corner recently with his fantasy production. In his past five games, Bates has made four field goals of 50-plus yards and has double-digit fantasy points in four of those last five contests. In a home matchup with the Bills in Week 15, there figure to be points scored with two great offenses featured in what could turn out to be a shootout. Look for Bates to continue his recent strong stretch if Lions' drives stall short of finding the end zone. He figures to be a strong play at the kicker position this week.

Calvin Austin III Dec 14 9:00am CT
    Calvin Austin III

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Calvin Austin III is not a reliable fantasy option for Week 15 against the Philadelphia Eagles. Even though fellow receiver George Pickens (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday, Austin isn't a leading candidate to claim the bulk of his vacated opportunities. For proof, look no further than last Sunday when Pickens was sidelined and Austin still played just 35 percent of the offensive snaps, catching one pass for four yards. Rather than looking to Austin to fill in for Pickens, managers seeking flex production in deep leagues may be better off adding someone like Van Jefferson, Scotty Miller, or Mike Williams. Austin should be benched in most formats ahead of Sunday, especially as he takes on an Eagles defense allowing the third-fewest fantasy points to opposing receivers in 2024.

Josh Allen Dec 14 9:00am CT
    Josh Allen

The Detroit Lions D/ST should be left on the bench or waiver wire in Week 15. The Lions draw a home matchup with the Bills led by a red-hot Josh Allen. The Bills lost last week to the Rams but Allen had three passing touchdowns and three rushing touchdowns as Buffalo scored 42 points in the loss. In his last four matchups, Allen has six rushing touchdowns. The Lions D/ST has three double-digit fantasy performances this season but the matchup this week says stay away. Likely a matchup-dependent D/ST for fantasy purposes, this is not the week to fire up the Lions.

Parker Washington Dec 14 8:50am CT
    Parker Washington

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Parker Washington is expected to earn additional consideration for fantasy lineups in Week 15, but he's not the most dependable option after catching just two passes for 15 yards last Sunday. The 22-year-old turned heads across the league back in Week 13 with six catches, 103 yards, and one score, but he has come back down to earth since then and is no longer viewed as one of the top streaming WR3/FLEX options. Rather, he's the No. 2 pass-catching option in a struggling offense led by Mac Jones, which doesn't bode well for his fantasy value. To make matters worse, Washington is facing a New York Jets defense that has allowed the third-fewest catches, yards, and touchdowns to opposing wide receivers, as well as the fourth-fewest fantasy points. Managers should bench Washington and look elsewhere for their WR3/FLEX contributions in Week 15.

Sam LaPorta Dec 14 8:50am CT
    Sam LaPorta

Detroit Lions tight end Sam LaPorta has seen an uptick in targets lately but his fantasy success is largely based on whether he finds the end zone in a given week. He has seen at least six targets in four of his last five games, but his high for receiving yards was 66 against the Texans in Week 10. Against the Bears, LaPorta scored 15.60 fantasy points in PPR leagues when he caught three passes for six yards and two touchdowns. LaPorta is fighting for looks in the crowded Lions' offense but is still a nice red-zone threat. The tight-end landscape is very thin, so LaPorta still makes for a decent play at the position against a Bills defense that is good at limiting damage to opposing tight ends. The Bills defense is allowing the fifth-fewest fantasy points to opposing tight ends this season. LaPorta will reward fantasy managers if he finds the end zone, but that is a risky proposition this week.

Sterling Shepard Dec 14 8:40am CT
    Sterling Shepard

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Sterling Shepard (foot) is officially questionable to play against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 15. The veteran had missed two consecutive practices before returning in a limited capacity on Friday. He has been a steady offensive contributor in his age-31 season, catching 29 passes for 287 yards and one touchdown over 11 games. He has been particularly productive lately with at least four catches in each of his last three contests. Although he's a veteran pass-catcher in a productive offense, Shepard will be tough to trust in fantasy football if he plays this week. Not only does he rank 83rd among wide receivers in total fantasy points this year, but he's going up against a strong Chargers defense that has allowed fifth-fewest receptions to the position.

    From RotoBaller

Jameson Williams Dec 14 8:40am CT
    Jameson Williams

Detroit Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams saw eight targets in his last game against the Green Bay Packers which were his most targets since Week 2 of this season. He will look to continue his involvement in the passing game with another good performance in Week 15 against the Buffalo Bills. Williams has been getting more involved in the Lions passing attack each week since his suspension in Weeks 8 and 9. The activity of Williams in the passing game bodes well for his fantasy outlook, especially with his big-play ability. One big play can turn Williams's fantasy day into a successful one. The Bills have an above-average pass defense so it won't be an easy matchup but Williams lines up as a high-upside play at the wide receiver position in fantasy.

Braelon Allen Dec 14 8:30am CT
    Braelon Allen

New York Jets running back Braelon Allen is expected to see his workload decrease heading into Week 15 of the NFL season. Allen broke out with 11 carries for 43 rushing yards last Sunday, plus four catches for an additional 38 yards through the air. However, he had earned these additional opportunities by stepping up with Breece Hall (knee) sidelined. In the loss to Miami, Allen and Isaiah Davis split touches. This weekend, though, Hall is expected to play. He might not be 100 percent, so Allen should still earn several carries, but the rookie's workload likely isn't large enough to justify starting him in fantasy football. Even against a team like the Jaguars, who have allowed the second-most fantasy points to running backs, Allen is best viewed as a high-end RB4.

    From RotoBaller

Michael Wilson Dec 14 8:30am CT
    Michael Wilson

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Michael Wilson has put together an impressive stretch of performances over the last three weeks, and he'll look to remain heavily involved and productive against the New England Patriots in Week 15. In each of his last three contests, Wilson has played at least 82 percent of the snaps. During that three-game span, he has nine catches for 166 yards and one touchdown. While the 25-year-old doesn't possess the same flashiness as Marvin Harrison Jr., he has still shown his value within the Cardinals' offense by delivering consistent production and demonstrating some deep-threat ability. Managers can justify starting him as a WR3/FLEX option, especially against a Patriots defense allowing the 11th-most catches to wide receivers in 2024.

    From RotoBaller

    Amon-Ra St. Brown Dec 14 8:10am CT
    Amon-Ra St. Brown

Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown has been a bit quiet the past three weeks compared to his own lofty standards. St. Brown torched the Jacksonville Jaguars defense in Week 11 for 11 catches, 161 receiving yards, and two receiving touchdowns but has not scored a receiving touchdown in the three weeks since then. In the past three games he has seven, seven, and six targets so he is still involved in the offensive game plan. The Bills defense ranks 11th-best against opposing receivers in fantasy points allowed this season. St. Brown should be heavily involved from a target standpoint as the Lions try to work him back into the mix and help him find the end zone. The Lions' passing game should lean on St. Brown, so he is looking like a decent bet to return to form.

    From RotoBaller

Jahmyr Gibbs Dec 14 8:00am CT
    Jahmyr Gibbs

Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs faces a Buffalo Bills defense in Week 15 which is allowing the third most fantasy points to opposing running backs this season. While he splits time with David Montgomery in the Lions' backfield, Gibbs is heavily involved in the passing game and has the ability to break long runs with his superior speed. The Lions should lean on the rushing attack in this matchup of heavyweights and Gibbs should feature heavily in the game plan. In his last six games, the talented running back has four rushing touchdowns and a receiving touchdown. Continued success is likely for Gibbs in this matchup with a big play or two likely against the Bills leaky run defense (or in the receiving game). Fantasy managers are likely starting Gibbs with confidence each week and this week should be more of the same.

    From RotoBaller

David Montgomery Dec 14 7:50am CT
    David Montgomery

Detroit Lions running back David Montgomery has scored a rushing touchdown in four of his last five games and look for him to continue that streak in Week 15 in a home matchup against the Buffalo Bills. Splitting time with Jahmyr Gibbs in the backfield, Montgomery is a big threat to score each week even though he hasn't racked up 100-yard rushing games. The bruising running back has one game this season of more than 100 rushing yards but has 12 rushing touchdowns. He is coming off a game against Green Bay in which he caught a season-high five passes. More involvement in the passing game plus his likelihood to score makes him a solid play for fantasy playoff matchups. The Bills give up the third most fantasy points to opposing running backs so look for the Lions to lean on the ground game in this key matchup.

Jake Ferguson Dec 14 7:40am CT
    Jake Ferguson

Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson still has not found the end zone in the 2024 campaign. With that being said, he is still the second option in the passing game behind CeeDee Lamb (shoulder) and is set to take on Carolina's 32nd-ranked defense against opposing tight ends. Ferguson has a low floor but also a potentially high ceiling this week as he continues to search for his first touchdown of the 2024 campaign. With how shallow the tight end position is, he can be started.

    From RotoBaller

Jared Goff Dec 14 7:40am CT
    Jared Goff

Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff faces a difficult matchup with the Buffalo Bills in Week 15. The Bills have allowed the fourth fewest points to opposing fantasy quarterbacks this season. Goff is coming off a three-touchdown performance in the Lions' win over the Green Bay Packers but could find the going more difficult this week even though he is indoors at Ford Field. In his past six contests, Goff has two games with more than two passing touchdowns and three games with more than 250 passing yards. The signal caller will look to build off of momentum from his last game against the Packers as the 12-1 Lions host the 10-3 Bills. Look for the Lions to attack Buffalo on the ground with the duo of David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs. Goff could surprise in a key matchup but will slot in as a mid-ranked quarterback in Week 15.

Brandon Aubrey Dec 14 7:40am CT
    Brandon Aubrey

Dallas Cowboys kicker Brandon Aubrey was perfect again last week in the narrow loss to Cincinnati, drilling 2-of-2 field goal attempts and 2-of-2 extra point attempts. He draws a good matchup this week against the Carolina Panthers, who have allowed the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing kickers in 2024. Even with how inefficient the offense has been with Cooper Rush under center, Dallas is bound to score some points in Week 15. Aubrey is a safe option against Carolina.

    From RotoBaller

Eric Kendricks Dec 14 7:40am CT
    Eric Kendricks

The Dallas Cowboys defense has looked a bit more like the 2023 version of themselves over the past few weeks, but this unit is still prone to giving up big plays. They draw a surging Carolina Panthers team with an improving quarterback in Bryce Young in Week 15. After surrendering 27 points and 433 yards to Cincinnati in Week 14, linebacker DeMarvion Overshown (knee) and safety Juanyeh Thomas (knee) are already ruled out with linebacker Eric Kendricks (shoulder), cornerback Trevon Diggs (knee), special-teamer C.J. Goodwin (hamstring) and cornerback Jourdan Lewis (hamstring) all listed as questionable. The defense has a high ceiling and a low floor in Week 15 in a game where Carolina is favored for the first time in over two years. Play them at your own risk.

    From RotoBaller

Rico Dowdle Dec 14 7:30am CT
    Rico Dowdle

Dallas Cowboys running back Rico Dowdle (knee) fully practiced all week but was on the injury report as a full participant. He will enter Week 15's matchup with the Carolina Panthers with no injury designation. Carolina has allowed the most points to the running back position this season, making Dowdle an RB1 option coming off of back-to-back 100-yard rushing performances. Fantasy managers should not hesitate to plug him into lineups this week.

    From RotoBaller

Brandin Cooks Dec 14 7:30am CT
    Brandin Cooks

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Brandin Cooks is not in consideration to slot into starting lineups this week with all weapons looking healthy for the team. CeeDee Lamb (shoulder) and Jake Ferguson are both good to go, making Cooks the third option in a low-ceiling passing attack despite a decent matchup with Carolina's secondary. The veteran is a touchdown-dependent option and he has scored a touchdown in each of the last two games. Given that, he does not have a high ceiling as he has recorded just 19 yards over the last two games.

    From RotoBaller

Cooper Rush Dec 14 7:20am CT
    Cooper Rush

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Cooper Rush is coming off of a shaky performance against Cincinnati. The career backup is in low QB2 range this week against a Carolina Panthers' defense that has slowly improved since an atrocious start to the season. Even so, it is still one of the league's worst defensive units. With that being said, Rush showed last week that he cannot be trusted even in the softest of matchups. With a further beaten up offensive line, Rush should not be started this week.

    From RotoBaller

Jordan Love Dec 14 7:10am CT
    Jordan Love

The Seattle Seahawks D/ST has enjoyed a nice run since they came out of their Week 10 bye. The unit has been a starting-caliber D/ST for four straight games. However, that could all change in Week 15 when the team hosts the Green Bay Packers. The Seahawks' kryptonite all season has been stopping the run. They have been significantly better since their bye, but the Packers have one of the best running games in the league. The Packers offense as a whole is excellent having scored 30 or more points in three straight games. As such, the Seahawks D/ST has a tall task ahead. If they can shut down the run, then they might be able to force quarterback Jordan Love into a couple of mistakes that could boost their value. Even so, that is a serious risk to take during the fantasy playoffs. You'll likely be able to find a better streaming option this week.
