Miami Dolphins running back Raheem Mostert carried the ball five times for 19 yards and caught two of three targets for 15 yards in their 30-17 loss to the Green Bay Packers. Before the Thanksgiving game, it had appeared Jaylen Wright took over the backup running back role from Mostert and had been receiving more carries recently. Thursday's game script was not friendly for the rushing attack, with Miami down 24-3 going into halftime. At this point of the season, Mostert is unstartable and should be left on the bench with how inconsistently he's getting touches. Mostert gets a tough matchup next week when the New York Jets come to town.

Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott said on WGR550 on Friday that linebacker Matt Milano (biceps) will be questionable to play in Week 13 against the visiting San Francisco 49ers on Sunday night. The Bills have until Saturday at 4 pm ET to activate Milano from Injured Reserve if they feel he's healthy enough to play this weekend. The Bills are taking it day to day with Milano, who has yet to play in 2024. The 30-year-old linebacker was able to practice in full on both Wednesday and Thursday, so he's certainly trending in the right direction after Buffalo opened his 21-day practice window to return from IR back on Nov. 13. Given how much time Milano has missed, it wouldn't be a surprise to see him on some sort of snap count if he's active on Sunday night. The former fifth-rounder in 2017 out of Boston College was an All-Pro in 2022, so he could provide a big boost to the Bills' defense down the stretch.
From RotoBaller
Miami Dolphins tight end Jonnu Smith caught 10 of 11 targets for 113 yards in their 30-17 loss to the Green Bay Packers. Smith continues to draw plenty of opportunities early and often from Tua Tagovailoa. He led the team in targets, receptions, and yards in Thursday's loss. The 29-year-old looks like a solidified TE1 and has returned significant value to fantasy managers who grabbed him off the waiver wire. Smith now ranks as the TE3 overall, behind only Brock Bowers and George Kittle. Next week, he will get a matchup at home against the New York Jets, who have struggled mightily against tight ends.
From RotoBaller
New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll isn't naming a starting quarterback on Friday for the team's Week 14 contest against the visiting New Orleans Saints on Dec. 8. It could be either Tommy Devito (forearm) or Drew Lock. DeVito was underwhelming in the Week 12 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and was inactive for the Thanksgiving loss to the division-rival Dallas Cowboys on Thursday due to a right-forearm injury. Lock made his first start for the G-Men and also underwhelmed by throwing for 178 yards on 32 pass attempts with an interception while also losing a fumble. The 28-year-old managed to run the ball for 57 yards and a touchdown, though, in the 27-20 loss. It remains to be seen if Lock did enough to earn himself a second straight start. The team's decision at QB will likely come down to DeVito's health. Either way, both QBs should be considered low-end QB2s in superflex leagues.
From RotoBaller
Detroit Lions linebacker Malcolm Rodriguez (knee) suffered a torn right ACL in Thursday's Thanksgiving Day win over the division-rival Chicago Bears and will miss the rest of the season. It's a tough blow for Rodriguez, who had started six games this year while picking up 43 tackles and two sacks. The 25-year-old's season-ending injury came in the fourth quarter of the eventual 23-20 victory over Chicago on Turkey Day. He had five tackles and one pass breakup in the game before departing. Rodriguez will certainly need surgery and could be in danger of missing the start of the 2025 season, depending on how his rehab goes in the offseason. The Lions defense also lost a key piece of their linebacking corps recently when Alex Anzalone broke his forearm. The 30-year-old is expected to miss six to eight weeks and was placed on Injured Reserve.
From RotoBaller
Carolina Panthers rookie wide receiver Jalen Coker (quadriceps) and rookie tight end Ja'Tavion Sanders (neck) have both been ruled out for their Week 13 tilt against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Coker will now miss his second-straight game. Sanders sustained this neck injury last weekend during their loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. Fantasy managers in deeper formats should continue to monitor their progress throughout the remainder of the season, as they have shown potential at times. This weekend against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, fantasy managers should expect Xavier Legette, Adam Thielen, and Tommy Tremble to lead the Carolina passing attack.
From RotoBaller
New York Giants defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence (elbow) sustained an elbow injury during Thursday's loss and is expected to remain sidelined "long term," according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. Lawrence suffered a dislocated elbow during the third quarter of their Thanksgiving match against the Dallas Cowboys and did not return to action after. Fantasy managers in IDP formats should expect Lawrence to miss the remainder of the season. Before the injury, Lawrence tallied 44 tackles (23 solo), nine sacks, and one pass deflection. For the remainder of the season, Jordan Riley and Elijah Chatman should see an uptick in opportunities.
From RotoBaller
According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the Chicago Bears have fired head coach Matt Eberflus following their tough loss on Thanksgiving to the Detroit Lions. This was Chicago's sixth straight loss. Since joining the Bears in 2022, Eberflus has posted a disappointing 14-32 record and has won just four games this season. This season, the Bears offense has struggled to find consistency as they currently rank 27th in total passing yards and 23rd in total rushing yards. Fantasy managers should closely monitor who becomes the interim head coach for the remainder of the season. Despite their recent losing stretch, rookie Caleb Williams has begun to turn the corner on an up-and-down debut campaign. Over his past three games, he has averaged a solid 275.7 passing yards per contest and could still be a viable low-end QB1 down the stretch, even with a new skipper in the locker room.
From RotoBaller
New York Giants rookie tight end Theo Johnson (foot) suffered a foot injury on Thursday afternoon and is likely done for the season, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. The Penn State product tallied a season-high 54 yards off five receptions on Thursday afternoon. Since Week 9, the rookie has begun to see more involvement in the passing game, as he has seen at least five targets in each game. Before this stretch, Johnson averaged just 2.5 targets per game during Weeks 1 through 8. Fantasy managers in deeper formats should continue monitoring Johnson's status but should begin searching the waiver wire for a replacement option. In New York, Chris Manhertz and Daniel Bellinger will likely see an uptick in snaps, which could be viable options in 14+ team formats if they see consistent snaps.
From RotoBaller
Buffalo Bills rookie wide receiver Keon Coleman (wrist) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the San Francisco 49ers, according to Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN. Coleman has been sidelined over the past two games and remained a limited participant throughout practice this weekend. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status leading up to kickoff on Sunday evening, as he may be a game-time decision. Before his injury, Coleman began to find his footing at the professional level, averaging 72.0 yards per game during Weeks 7 through 9. Before this stretch, he averaged just 33.5 yards per game. If Coleman can suit up, he should be viewed as a low-end WR3 facing a tough San Francisco defense.
From RotoBaller
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb (shoulder) should be expected to be ready for their Week 14 matchup on Monday Night Football against the Cincinnati Bengals, according to Jon Machota of The Athletic. Lamb was dealing with an AC joint injury earlier this month and reportedly reaggravated it during their Thanksgiving victory over the New York Giants. However, given that the Cowboys were leading throughout most of the second half, Lamb did not need to see the field as often. With an extra few days off, Machota noted that owner Jerry Jones expressed confidence regarding his star wideout's availability for Week 14. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status during next week's practices in case he faces a setback. Before missing most of the second half on Thursday, Lamb caught just two of his six targets for 39 yards.
From RotoBaller
Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence (left shoulder) is trending toward playing in Week 13 against the Houston Texans, head coach Doug Pederson said on Friday. Pederson noted that, as of right now, he expects the former No. 1 pick to be active as Jacksonville's starter. Lawrence was a limited participant on Thursday but has evidently made enough progress since missing Weeks 10 and 11. The 25-year-old has completed 61.3 percent of his passes for 2,004 rushing yards, 11 touchdowns, and six interceptions through nine games this season. He also has three rushing touchdowns. The Jaguars have struggled to mount scoring drives in 2024, but Lawrence's mobility and the projected negative game script keep him in the mid-range fantasy QB2 tier this weekend.
From RotoBaller
Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill (personal, wrist) caught six of nine targets for 83 yards and a touchdown in their 30-17 loss to the Green Bay Packers. This is the first time since Week 1 that Hill scored at least 20 PPR points in a game. The game script had the Dolphins down 24-3 at halftime, forcing them to throw the rest of the way. He could only haul in one pass for two yards through the first two quarters. He has now scored a touchdown in three of his last four games. The 30-year-old could've had an even better game if Tua Tagovailoa didn't miss him on a few throws. Hill will look to continue the solid play next week in a matchup against the division-rival New York Jets.
From RotoBaller
Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle caught all four of his targets for 53 yards in Thursday's 30-17 loss to the Green Bay Packers. After his best performance of the season, Waddle failed to top 60 receiving yards for the eighth and has seen five targets or less for the seventh time in 2024. With Jonnu Smith (11 targets) emerging as a top target for Tua Tagovailoa in Thursday's loss, Waddle has found targets hard to come by. The offense got off to a slow start in the first half, being down 24-3, and the 26-year-old could not find a rhythm for the rest of the game. He has not been the wide receiver fantasy managers have hoped for this season, as he now ranks as the WR35 overall. Waddle will look to get back on track next week at home against the New York Jets.
From RotoBaller
Miami Dolphins running back De'Von Achane carried the ball seven times for 14 yards in their 30-17 loss to the Green Bay Packers. He also caught eight of his nine targets for 56 yards and a touchdown. Achane once again scored 20-plus PPR fantasy points for the third straight game and the fifth time in the last six games. All the other Dolphins running backs are taking a back seat to Achane instead of being a backfield by committee as it was in 2023. While the rushing numbers weren't impressive, Achane's value in the passing game and red zone usage keep him in the RB1 realm. Week 14 presents a tough matchup against the New York Jets at home.
From RotoBaller
Buffalo Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid (knee) has been ruled out ahead of Week 13 against the San Francisco 49ers, head coach Sean McDermott said. Kincaid is now slated to miss his second consecutive contest. In the last occurrence, Dawson Knox stepped up as the Bills' top tight end, catching four of six passes for 40 yards. While Knox doesn't nearly have the same skill set as Kincaid, he's still capable of carving out a role on offense. Fantasy managers should view Knox as a high-end fantasy TE2 this week against the Niners.
From RotoBaller
Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa completed 37 of 46 passes for 365 yards and two passing touchdowns in their 30-17 loss to the Green Bay Packers. He also added six rushing yards on two attempts. Miami's offense started very slow in the first half but got things going after halftime. With it being 24-3 going into the locker room, they were forced to throw to attempt to get back into the game. Since returning in Week 8, Tagovailoa has played some of the best football of his career. In that span, he has tossed 13 touchdowns with only one interception. The 26-year-old has finished as a top-10 fantasy quarterback the past two games and may finish there in Week 13 when it's all said and done. Miami will look to get back on track next week when they return home to play the New York Jets.
From RotoBaller
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver KaVontae Turpin converted five targets into four catches for a team-high 53 receiving yards during Thursday's Week 13 win over the New York Giants. Turpin is primarily a special teams contributor and is typically inconsistent on offense, but we can't ignore that he has three-plus catches and 50-plus yards in two of his last three games. His expanded role was particularly surprising this week given that Brandin Cooks made his return from injured reserve, so Turpin was fourth on the depth chart. The 28-year-old should be avoided in leagues with 14 or fewer teams, but he's at least worth monitoring in deeper formats.
From RotoBaller
Cleveland Browns quarterback Jameis Winston addressed his future with the team, explaining that he wants to remain with the organization but also acknowledges that that decision falls on the front office. "When I think about my family, I think about moving my kids, my wife having to find new friends," Winston said. "I think anytime where you're able to solidify a role and a place and play good at that place, you like to be home. However, that's out of my control." He also noted his appreciation for the city's natural beauty, the community's hard-nosed attitude toward Browns football, and fans holding him to high standards while pushing him to be the best version of himself. Winston, who has completed 62.2 percent of his passes for 1,266 yards, seven touchdowns, and four interceptions this year, will become an unrestricted free agent in February. The Browns previously expressed their desire to bring in quarterback competition for Deshaun Watson, but they haven't publicly singled out Winston for that job.
From RotoBaller
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb caught just two of six targets for 39 yards during Thursday's Week 13 win over the New York Giants. Lamb finished the contest having played a season-low 68 percent of the offensive snaps, spending a good portion of the second half on the sideline without his helmet. It's unclear if Lamb was sidelined due to performance or injury. It's worth noting that he did seem to react to a potential shoulder injury after being taken down by a defender, but the Cowboys never made any sort of injury report announcement regarding Lamb. Regardless of whether he's injured, fantasy managers can be rightfully disappointed about Lamb's quiet showing in a game where other Dallas pass-catchers, such as Brandin Cooks, KaVontae Turpin, and Luke Schoonmaker, thrived. If healthy, Lamb will look to bounce back as a low-end WR1 in fantasy football against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 14.
