Zach Ertz Dec 20 3:50pm CT
    Zach Ertz

According to Ralph Vacchiano of FOX Sports, the Washington Commanders are listed tight end Zach Ertz (concussion) as questionable for Sunday's divisional match against the Philadelphia Eagles. Ertz suffered a concussion during their Week 15 victory over the New Orleans Saints. During the week, he was a non-participant on Wednesday, but was upgraded to a limited participant on Thursday and Friday. Fantasy managers should continue to keep a close eye on his status as he will need to pass the league's protocol in order to suit up. Entering Week 15, Ertz found the back of the end zone in each of his past three games. If Ertz cannot make a quick turnaround, fantasy managers should expect John Bates to move up to the starting role with rookie Ben Sinnott moving up to the No.2 spot. Bates should not be viewed as a viable option given his lack of proven offensive production throughout his career.

Sean McDermott Dec 20 3:40pm CT
    Sean McDermott

The Buffalo Bills DST has allowed over 80 points in its last two games but the matchup against New England is more intriguing than recent contests against the Lions and Rams. The Patriots offense averages 17 points per game, second-worst in the NFL. Their implied point total is 16.25 points on Sunday. The Drake Maye-led squad also averages 1.3 giveaways per game. Sean McDermott's defense can easily bounce back in this divisional matchup. The Bills are ranked as a top DST in Week 16.

Isaac Guerendo Dec 20 3:40pm CT
    Isaac Guerendo

According to Matt Maiocco of NBC Bay Area, San Francisco 49ers running back Isaac Guerendo (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's match against the Miami Dolphins. Guerendo was unable to participate in any team practices this week. He entered his Week 14 game with a foot injury and then left it with a hamstring concern. Fantasy managers should closely monitor his status next week as he may be in danger of missing more time. As a result, fantasy managers should expect Patrick Taylor Jr. to lead a depleted San Francisco backfield on Sunday. Throughout the season, he has tallied 50 yards on 14 attempts and brought in one of his two targets for 12 yards. Taylor should be viewed as a high-floor flex option this weekend facing a Miami rushing defense that has allowed the 12th-most PPR points to opposing RBs this season.

Dalton Kincaid Dec 20 3:30pm CT
    Dalton Kincaid

Buffalo Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid (knee) has not enjoyed the second-year breakout predicted by many. Through a three-game absence and underwhelming play, Kincaid is the current TE23. The knee injury that cost him time keeps him on the injury report, but there aren't any concerns about Kincaid missing more time. The New England defense is average against tight ends, so the matchup isn't anything to worry about. However, the Bills are favored by 14 points, which could lead to a reliance on the ground game. Kincaid is just outside the TE1 range this week and fantasy managers could look elsewhere given his lack of production.

Braelon Allen Dec 20 3:30pm CT
    Braelon Allen

According to Dennis Waszak Jr. of the Associated Press, the New York Jets have listed rookie running back Braelon Allen (back) as questionable for Sunday's match against the Los Angeles Rams. Allen logged two limited sessions to open the week but was upgraded to a full participant on Friday. However, the rookie still carries a questionable tag. Allen saw an increased workload in Week 14 with Breece Hall sidelined as he tallied 43 yards on 11 attempts and added 38 yards on four receptions. Even if Allen is able to suit up on Sunday, he should not be viewed as a viable fantasy option as Breece Hall will be expected to lead the backfield. Seeing that Hall was not on the injury report all week suggests he is past his minor knee injury and will take on his normal workhorse role.

    From RotoBaller

Tony Pollard Dec 20 3:20pm CT
    Tony Pollard

According to Jim Wyatt of the Titans, running back Tony Pollard (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts. Pollard was unable to participate in practice all week but the team is leaving the door open for him. However, fantasy managers should begin to find an alternative option as he will likely face an uphill battle to suit up. Pollard has battled a lingering ankle injury over the past few weeks and was even forced out of last weekend's game due to it. If Pollard is unable to suit up, Tyjae Spears would step into the lead role. If Pollard is eventually ruled out, Spears would become a viable RB2 in all formats in a favorable matchup as the Colts have allowed the sixth-most PPR points to opposing running backs this season.

    From RotoBaller

Khalil Shakir Dec 20 3:20pm CT
    Khalil Shakir

If you want consistency, Buffalo Bills wide receiver Khalil Shakir will deliver. Buffalo's slot receiver has failed to reach double-digit PPR fantasy points twice: Once in his first game back from an ankle injury and once in a snowstorm. That's led to Shakir's current standing as the WR25. He has a target share north of 23% and maintains his status as Josh Allen's favorite wide receiver. A blowout will be the primary concern for Shakir's fantasy managers. The Bills are a 14-point home favorite and could take their foot off the gas earlier than usual. Shakir ranks as a low-end, but safe, WR2.

    From RotoBaller

Keon Coleman Dec 20 3:20pm CT
    Keon Coleman

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Keon Coleman was quiet in all but one play (a 64-yard reception) against the Detroit Lions. Despite his lackluster usage, the rookie was on the field for 63% of the snaps in his first game back from a wrist injury. That was more than any other Buffalo receiver. Coleman may play the most but Buffalo often rotates their receivers and Josh Allen spreads the football around. Khalil Shakir, who mans the slot, is the most reliable of the group. The Bills are favored by 14 points, which could lead to more rushing attempts rather than downfield throws, an area where Coleman shines. The second-round pick is in the WR5 range in the rankings this week.

    From RotoBaller

Zach Charbonnet Dec 20 3:20pm CT
    Zach Charbonnet

According to Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times, running back Zach Charbonnet (oblique) is off the injury report and cleared for Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings. Charbonnet was battling an oblique injury during the week but was able to avoid an injury designation. With Kenneth Walker III sidelined over the past two weeks, Charbonnet has taken full control of the Seattle backfield tallying 188 yards on the ground with three scores. However, Walker is also off the injury report as well and should be expected to reclaim the starting job given his previous workloads this season. While Charbonnet may see a larger role than a typical backup would, he should not be viewed as a viable option in Week 16 facing a tough Minnesota rushing defense that has allowed the second-fewest PPR points to opposing RBs this season.

    From RotoBaller

Amari Cooper Dec 20 3:10pm CT
    Amari Cooper

It's safe to call Buffalo Bills Amari Cooper (wrist) a risky fantasy football option in the team's matchup against the New England Patriots. The veteran earned 14 targets in a shootout versus Los Angeles two weeks ago. He followed that up with zero targets against Detroit (another shootout). Rookie Keon Coleman returned to the lineup last week and created a crowded wide receiver room. Cooper's been a part-time player since his arrival in upstate New York, often playing fewer snaps than Khalil Shakir, Coleman, and Mack Hollins. Cooper could also see a lot of star cornerback Christian Gonzalez on Sunday. There are no concerns about his wrist injury, but fantasy managers shouldn't trust Cooper in lineups this weekend.

    From RotoBaller

    A.J. Brown Dec 20 3:10pm CT
    A.J. Brown

According to Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network, Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown (knee) is off the injury report and good to go for Sunday's divisional matchup against the Washington Commanders. Brown opened the week as a non-participant and then logged two limited sessions on Thursday and Friday. However, this injury seems rather minor, as Brown is already off the injury report. Last weekend, Brown enjoyed a nice performance, catching eight of his 11 targets for 110 yards and a score. Since Week 6, the top wideout has averaged a solid 15.8 PPR points per game with 82.7 yards per game. With Brown expected to see his typical workload, he should be viewed as a must-start WR1 despite facing a Washington secondary that recently welcomed back Marshon Lattimore.

Kenneth Walker III Dec 20 3:00pm CT
    Kenneth Walker III

Seattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III (calf) has been removed from the final Week 16 injury report on Friday and will be active for Sunday's contest at Lumen Field against the visiting Minnesota Vikings. Meanwhile, backfield mate Zach Charbonnet (oblique) was also cleared, so Seattle will have its top two RBs available this weekend. It's good news for the Seahawks, but bad news for fantasy managers that have one or both of Walker and Charbonnet rostered. Walker missed the last two weeks with his calf injury, which led to Charbonnet accumulating 188 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 30 carries while adding eight catches for 71 yards. For what it's worth, Seattle has since named Charbonnet a captain, meaning that Walker could see more of a reduced role in his return this weekend. Walker has been the clear lead runner when both backs have been healthy this year, but that could change against Minnesota.

Josh Allen Dec 20 3:00pm CT
    Josh Allen

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has strung together nine straight games of over 20 fantasy points. There's optimism the streak will extend to 10 games when the MVP favorite takes the field against the New England Patriots. Before last week, the Patriots were the worst defense against fantasy football quarterbacks over the last month. The Bills are 14-point favorites on Sunday afternoon, which could take the football out of Allen's hands earlier than the final whistle. However, Allen runs plenty and should score a QB1's worth of fantasy points before any potential blowout. He's the top-ranked quarterback this week.

    From RotoBaller

James Cook Dec 20 3:00pm CT
    James Cook

Buffalo Bills running back James Cook is a must-start RB1 for this weekend's fantasy football playoffs. The 25-year-old bounced back against Detroit last week (133 yards, two touchdowns) after a disappointing affair two weeks ago in Los Angeles (29 yards). Cook takes his momentum into a home matchup against New England. The Patriots have fielded a below-average rush defense all season. The Bills are favored by 14 points, which could lead to more rushing attempts for Cook and his backfield mates, Ray Davis and Ty Johnson.

    From RotoBaller

Geno Smith Dec 20 2:50pm CT
    Geno Smith

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith (knee) practiced in full all week and has been removed from the final Week 16 injury report. Smith will start on Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings despite being pulled from the Sunday night loss to the Green Bay Packers in Week 15 and never returning. Not only is it great news for fantasy managers looking to use Smith in two-QB leagues this week, but it's also excellent news for anyone with receivers Jaxon Smith-Njigba and DK Metcalf in their lineups. The 34-year-old Smith's mobility will most likely affected -- not that he was much of a threat to run to begin with. The two-time Pro Bowler comes into Week 16 action averaging 19.4 fantasy points per game, which is tied with Joe Flacco for 16th among all QBs in 2024. Against an aggressive Vikings defense, Smith checks in as a volatile QB2 for fantasy managers in the semifinals in most leagues.

Travis Homer Dec 20 2:40pm CT
    Travis Homer

Chicago Bears running back Travis Homer (hamstring) was added to the Week 16 injury report after being limited in Friday's practice, and he's now considered doubtful to be active on Sunday to face the division-rival Detroit Lions. Homer was injured in practice on Friday and is now unlikely to play this weekend, but thankfully for the Bears, they will be getting Roschon Johnson back for additional backfield depth behind D'Andre Swift after he missed the last two games due to a concussion. The 26-year-old Homer has mostly contributed on special teams for the Bears in 2024 and hasn't been on the fantasy radar at all while being buried on the RB depth chart in a low-scoring offense. In his second year in Chicago, Homer has produced only 23 rushing yards on six carries while adding three receptions for 11 yards in 10 games played.

Brian Callahan Dec 20 2:30pm CT
    Brian Callahan

Tennessee Titans head coach Brian Callahan said on Friday that the team isn't expecting cornerback L'Jarius Sneed (quadriceps) to play in the final three games of the 2024 regular season. Sneed landed on Injured Reserve on Nov. 23. It will end up being a lost season for the 27-year-old defensive back, as he played in just five games in his first year in Tennessee. In those five contests, Sneed contributed 23 tackles (19 solo) and two tackles for loss. Before coming to the Titans via free agency as a notable offseason pickup, Sneed had established himself as one of the better cornerbacks in the league in his four seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs. For a Titans secondary that surely has its issues, they will be hoping that Sneed can return in 2025 to the form he displayed in Kansas City before signing a contract with Tennessee.

    From RotoBaller

DeeJay Dallas Dec 20 2:20pm CT
    DeeJay Dallas

Arizona Cardinals running back DeeJay Dallas (undisclosed) was added to the final injury report on Friday for Week 16 action and is considered questionable to play on Sunday against the Carolina Panthers. Rookie Trey Benson (ankle) has already been ruled out, and Emari Demercado (back) was placed on Injured Reserve, so starter James Conner is now the only healthy RB on the team's roster at the moment. At this point, it would be a surprise if Arizona didn't promote both Michael Carter and Tony Jones from the practice squad to the active 53-man roster for the weekend. The 26-year-old Dallas had a season-high four carries for 15 yards in last week's win over the New England Patriots with Benson getting injured. Even if Dallas manages to get the green light to play on Sunday in Carolina, he will not have any standalone fantasy appeal.

    From RotoBaller

Nick Folk Dec 20 2:20pm CT
    Nick Folk

Tennessee Titans head coach Brian Callahan said that kicker Nick Folk (abdomen) will be a game-time decision for Sunday's contest versus the division-rival Indianapolis Colts in Week 16. For insurance in case he can't go, the team plans to bring up Brayden Narveson from the practice squad to the active 53-man roster for the weekend. The 40-year-old veteran has been basically automatic this year for a lackluster Titans offense, but he apparently came out of the Week 15 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals with an injury and may not be able to kick in Week 16. Folk has made 21 of his 22 field-goal tries in 2024 and has been successful on all 25 of his extra-point tries as well. However, because of his injury and in an offense that will start Mason Rudolph at quarterback this weekend, fantasy managers will want to avoid Folk.

    From RotoBaller

Jalen Coker Dec 20 2:10pm CT
    Jalen Coker

Carolina Panthers wide receivers Jalen Coker (quadriceps) and David Moore (concussion) are both listed as questionable for the Week 16 game against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday. Rookie Xavier Legette (hip) was also ruled out, so Carolina could be very thin a the receiver position this weekend behind Adam Thielen. Moore was a full participant in Friday's practice, though, so he could have a good shot at clearing the league's protocol before Sunday's game. Coker missed three games from Weeks 12-14 due to injury but returned in last Sunday's loss to the Dallas Cowboys to produce four catches on six targets for a season-high 110 yards and the second touchdown of his career. An 83-yard TD catch was to thanks for the 23-year-old's big day. Coker could have another expanded role if he's active against Arizona, but even then, he'd be a pretty risky gamble as a flex play in the fantasy playoffs.
