Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Michael Wilson should be considered a boom-or-bust WR4/flex in fantasy leagues heading into a Week 13 tilt on Sunday on the road against the Minnesota Vikings. Most fantasy managers won't be giving Wilson the time of day after a two-catch, 54-yard performance in the Week 12 loss to the division-rival Seattle Seahawks. The 24-year-old also has only two scores on the season and has gone over five receptions just once in 11 games. Wilson has exceeded 50 receiving yards in a game only three times. He's tied for 78th among all receivers with 6.4 half-PPR points per game. Facing the Vikings on the road is no picnic, but Minnesota's defense has allowed the second-most half-PPR points per game to the position, including 13 TDs allowed, so if Wilson is going to have a big game out of nowhere, this could be the week.
From RotoBaller
Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow will look to keep his team's postseason hopes alive by earning a win against Pittsburgh in Week 13. Burrow has arguably been the best quarterback in the NFL during the 2024-25 campaign and is currently tied with Lamar Jackson for a league-leading 27 touchdown throws. Without question, the former LSU Tiger isn't the problem for Cincinnati's underwhelming record. Instead, the Bengals' defense has struggled. While Burrow has been more productive versus other teams over the years, he's a must-start for Sunday's meeting with a formidable Steelers' defense.
From RotoBaller
Indianapolis Colts kicker Matt Gay has recorded at least two field goals in nine straight games, going 20-for-22 during that time with both misses coming from 50-plus yards out. The 30-year-old is 20-for-20 on extra points as well. Despite his recent stretch of success, Indy will take on the Patriots on the road this week where it will be cold and somewhat windy. Combine that with the ineffectiveness of the Colt offense and a contest that has a low expected total, Gay makes for a dicey fantasy play on Sunday.
From RotoBaller
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase is the best fantasy wideout this season, currently leading the league in yards (1,056) and touchdowns (12). With five trips to the end zone in the Bengals' previous two games leading up to their Week 12 bye, the former LSU Tiger will do all he can to help keep Cincinnati's slim playoff hopes alive against Pittsburgh in Week 13. Without question, the Steelers' defense is one of the best units in the National Football League. However, that shouldn't be enough to scare fantasy managers, so Chase remains a must-start in all fantasy formats on Sunday, although most are already aware. On the other hand, the rough matchup on the horizon may make it difficult for the 24-year-old to be productive enough to justify his hefty DFS rostering cost.
From RotoBaller
Arizona Cardinals rookie running back Trey Benson hasn't been a starting fantasy option all year long while working behind starter James Conner, and that won't change in a tough Week 13 matchup on the road against the Minnesota Vikings this Sunday. The Vikings defense has been stingy against the run, allowing just 14.8 half-PPR points to the position per game, which is the third-fewest in the league. Meanwhile, the 21-year-old third-rounder out of Florida State has seen double-digit carries just twice in his first 10 NFL games. Arizona wasn't able to get anything going on the ground last week in the loss to Seattle, either, with Benson's 18 rushing yards on four carries leading the team. Benson's long-term fantasy value took a hit with the Conner extension announced on Saturday, and he won't be a realistic fantasy starter with minimal volume in a bad matchup this weekend.
From RotoBaller
Arizona Cardinals rookie first-round wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. hasn't lived up to the high fantasy expectations he had coming into his first NFL season, but he'll have a chance to make his fantasy managers happy this Sunday in a matchup against the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings defense has allowed the second-most half-PPR points to opposing pass-catchers this year, including 13 touchdowns, which is tied for fifth-most in the league. The 22-year-old former Ohio State star has found the end zone six times in his first 11 NFL contests, but he's averaging just 9.9 half-PPR points per game in 2024, which makes him the WR41. Fantasy managers were expecting a lot more than that when they drafted him with WR1 upside this fall. Since a 100-yard outing in Week 8, Harrison has 10 catches, 135 yards and one TD. He'll be a WR3/flex with upside this weekend in Minnesota.
From RotoBaller
Does Carolina Panthers wide receiver David Moore have it in him to post another big game in Week 13 against the division-rival Tampa Bay Buccaneers? With rookie Jalen Coker (quadriceps) out for the Week 12 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, Moore played a team-high-tying 94% of the offensive snaps and had by far his best game of the season, catching six of his 10 targets for 81 yards and his first touchdown of the year. It also came in the same game that Adam Thielen returned from Injured Reserve to play 61% of the offensive snaps. Coker is out again this Sunday against the Bucs, but Moore could be hard-pressed for another big game, even in a good matchup against a suspect Tampa secondary. Thielen figures to see more involvement in his second game back. At best, Moore is a dart-throw WR5/6 in the deepest of fantasy leagues this weekend.
From RotoBaller
Carolina Panthers veteran wide receiver Adam Thielen should be in play as at least a touchdown-dependent, low-upside WR4/flex for fantasy managers in a Week 13 divisional battle against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In his first game action since suffering a hamstring injury in Week 3 that sent him to Injured Reserve, Thielen caught three of four targets for 57 yards in last week's three-point loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. He played 61% of the offensive snaps and finished fourth on the team in targets, but he still made an impact in the game, mainly with a 36-yard catch. The 34-year-old should see the field more this weekend and he could take advantage of a positive matchup against a Bucs defense that has been a top-10 matchup for receivers in fantasy in 2024. In addition, rookie receiver Jalen Coker (quadriceps) and rookie tight end Ja'Tavion Sanders (neck) are out for Carolina.
From RotoBaller
Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier disappeared in Week 11, not recording a single carry after the team quickly fell behind to the Broncos and abandoned the run. Fresh off their bye week, Week 13's matchup with the Chargers should be more competitive, however, it's hard to project what Allgeier's involvement will be as he's waffled between single and double-digit carries each of the last seven games (6-18-5-12-6-11-0). Los Angeles has been tough against the run, yielding the fifth-fewest fantasy points to running backs, and has allowed a league-low five rush TDs. The 24-year-old isn't a factor in the passing game either, which makes him a risky RB4 this week, although he remains a strong handcuff to Bijan Robinson if managers have an available roster spot.
From RotoBaller
Carolina Panthers tight end Tommy Tremble should see the field more in Week 13 against the division-rival Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday with rookie Ja'Tavion Sanders (neck) ruled out. Sanders suffered a scary neck injury in the Week 12 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, and although he avoided a serious injury, he won't be active on Sunday. Tremble played 82% of the offensive snaps last week due to Sanders' injury, which was his highest snap percentage of the year since Week 4. The 24-year-old was only targeted twice, though, catching one pass for a five-yard gain. Tremble only has 10 receptions on 14 targets for 77 yards and no touchdowns on the year in his six games played, so he should remain on the waiver wire in most fantasy formats heading into Week 13 action. However, he could be worth a look in deep two-tight end leagues in hopes he can find the end zone for the first time in 2024.
From RotoBaller
The Arizona Cardinals signed running back James Conner a two-year, $19 million contract extension on Saturday, according to a source. Conner was scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent after the 2024 season, but the Cardinals will instead lock him in for another two years. Arizona drafted Trey Benson out of Texas back in April, but the 29-year-old Conner will move forward as the team's primary backfield piece going forward as long as he's healthy. The former third-rounder by the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2017 out of Pittsburgh is having another strong season and is on pace for back-to-back 1,000-yard rushing seasons for the first time in his career. Conner currently has 705 rushing yards and five TDs on 166 carries (4.2 yards per tote) in 11 games. Coming off a quiet performance in Week 12, Conner should be considered a low-end RB2 in fantasy in Week 13 against the Vikings.
From RotoBaller
Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Alec Pierce (foot) was listed as questionable for the team's Week 13 game against the New England Patriots on Sunday. Pierce did not practice on Wednesday or Thursday but was upgraded to a full session on Friday, giving him a good shot to play through the questionable tag this weekend. Fellow receivers Josh Downs (shoulder) and Ashton Dulin (ankle) didn't practice all week and have been ruled out, so if Pierce is active, he should have an expanded role as the WR2 in Indy behind Michael Pittman Jr. Quarterback Anthony Richardson has struggled with accuracy in his second NFL season, but the 24-year-old Pierce is intriguing as a WR4/flex play this weekend if he's active. He has big-play ability -- he leads the league with 23.3 yards per reception -- and the Patriots defense has allowed the 10th-most fantasy points per game to the position.
From RotoBaller
Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Ray-Ray McCloud III had a six-catch performance back in Week 11 before the team's bye, the third time this season that the 28-year-old has recorded six catches in a contest. While the yardage totals aren't typically very high for him, the veteran wideout has caught at least two balls in every game so far this season and at least three in nine of 11 games, which is more than teammate Kyle Pitts can account for. Week 13 brings a matchup with the Chargers, and in a showdown with a 47.5 over/under that has Los Angeles as just one-point favorites, this should be a competitive contest that will allow McCloud to stay involved. With no teams on bye this week, there are likely better options for managers to choose from, but the Clemson product is a WR5 this week with some upside in PPR formats.
From RotoBaller
Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Parker Washington has not shown any signs of fantasy relevance this season, but with injuries to Christian Kirk and Gabe Davis, he at least has a chance to produce this week. With Trevor Lawrence returning from a shoulder injury, it's possible he produces slightly more than usual, but for any fantasy manager pushing for the playoffs, Washington is tough to consider as a realistic option. Evan Engram and Brian Thomas Jr. should dominate touches in the passing game, and be the main players responsible for any Jaguars success through the air. If Mac Jones ends up a surprise late start at QB, Washington becomes an even worse fantasy option. Despite a potential boost for the offense with better health and coming off a bye, Washington is a desperate option at best in Week 13.
From RotoBaller
Atlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts has caught just one pass in two of the last three games. In Week 13, the 24-year-old will face a Chargers defense that gives up the 11th-fewest fantasy points to tight ends and, other than Travis Kelce who totaled 89 yards in Week 4, no other tight end has topped 58 yards against them. After getting on a bit of a roll mid-season, Pitts' involvement in the passing game has regressed, now with just a 14.9% target share on the year, which makes him the fourth option, slightly behind Ray-Ray McCloud III and on par with running back Bijan Robinson. Once again hard to trust and with some other options at TE emerging, the former first-round draft pick has fallen to the ranks of a high-end TE2 this week.
From RotoBaller
The Baltimore Ravens defense has been battered and bruised throughout this season and they've been one of the weakest pass defenses in the NFL. In Week 13, they go up against one of the better offenses in the league with a dynamic run game on top of some of the best pass-catchers. Despite boasting one of the top rushing defenses, the Ravens will have their hands full with trying to stop Saquon Barkley. This defense/special teams is better left on the bench this week.
From RotoBaller
Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker knocked through all of his field goals and extra points in Week 12, but didn't have the highest volume. Just one week prior, he missed multiple kicks against the Steelers which marked his sixth game with at least one miss. Now he goes up against the Philadelphia Eagles who are allowing 6.6 fantasy points per game to opposing kickers. Tucker isn't the same automatic fantasy asset that he once was, but he should be able to land in the low-end K1 area.
From RotoBaller
Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Mac Jones is not worth considering in fantasy this week, especially since Trevor Lawrence is expected to return from a shoulder injury. Jones has not played great as a replacement option, not producing much himself in fantasy as well as holding the rest of the offense back. The Texans serve as a decent matchup, but not good enough to prop Jones up to fantasy relevance. Jones has stayed below 150 passing yards, and besides a rushing touchdown against the Minnesota Vikings, has not produced a single touchdown. Jones playing would be worst-case scenario for fantasy managers, as not only would Lawrence be removed from the fantasy equation, but so would essentially all of his weapons. Even if Jones is a last minute start, he is not worth starting in fantasy lineups in Week 13.
From RotoBaller
Baltimore Ravens running back Justice Hill registered his third outing at an RB2 level or higher during their Week 12 win over the Chargers. Now, Hill and company take on an even better defense in the Philadelphia Eagles. They allow just 99.2 rushing yards per game and eight touchdowns on the ground all year. Their pass defense is also one of the tougher units in the league which makes Hill's week that much harder. He comes in as a very risky flex option in deeper leagues heading into this matchup.
From RotoBaller
Dynasty | Cowboys running back Rico Dowdle had 112 rushing yards, three catches, 11 receiving yards, and a touchdown in a Dallas win over the Giants on Thanksgiving. Dynasty Analysis: Dowdle had 22 running back carries in the game, compared to just one for Ezekiel Elliott. It was a career day for the 26-year old, who has been nearly begging to have a day where they committed to giving him the ball. It may be too little, too late for Dowdle, who is likely to be replaced as the lead back next season. However, Dallas may simply ride him the rest of the way, giving him some very nice in-season value moving forward. Dowdle is a solid hold until the season is over.
