Dallas Cowboys quarterback Cooper Rush won the battle of backups on Thanksgiving by a score of 27-20 over the New York Giants. The Central Michigan product finished the game with 195 yards and one touchdown on 21-for-36 throwing. He also had five carries for zero yards and one fumble which he recovered. His touchdown pass came during the early parts of the third quarter where he found Brandin Cooks in the end zone to take a 20-10 lead at the time. Rush will look to build a little winning streak as they take on the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 14.
From RotoBaller
Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff completed 21 of 34 passes for 221 yards and two touchdowns in a 23-20 victory over the Chicago Bears in Week 13. Goff leaned on efficiency rather than volume, with both of his touchdowns going to rookie tight end Sam LaPorta. However, Detroit's heavy reliance on their dynamic backfield duo of Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery continues to limit Goff's ceiling for fantasy managers. While the Lions' offense continues to shine overall, Goff has now finished with fewer than 17 fantasy points in eight of 12 games this season, making him a volatile QB option. Goff and the Lions will face another NFC North rival in Week 14 as they host the Green Bay Packers on Thursday Night Football.

Dallas Cowboys running back Rico Dowdle posted his first-ever 100-yard rushing game in the 27-20 division win on Thanksgiving. The 26-year-old finished with 112 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries with three receptions for 11 yards on three targets. Dowdle's top six rushing outputs have all come this season now that he's seeing a higher snap share. In fact, this game against the Giants was his second-highest snap share of the year with 70%. Dowdle should continue to be one of the fantasy bright spots in this offense for the rest of the year and will look to keep the momentum rolling against the Bengals in Week 14.

The Packers' defense and special teams' unit were very busy on Thanksgiving night as they beat the Miami Dolphins 30-17. The Packers D/ST got to Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa five times on the night as the pass rush from Green Bay was relentless. Green Bay also capitalized on a muffed punt by Malik Washington that the Packers pounced on and that swing in field position led to the Packers' first touchdown of the game. With the Packers heading to Ford Field to take on the Detroit Lions in Week 13's Thursday Night Football, it's probably a good idea to leave the Packers D/ST on your bench or on waivers given the potency of the Lions' offense.
From RotoBaller
Las Vegas Raiders kicker Daniel Carlson is one of the league's most accurate players at his position. He's hit the bullseye on 91.7% of his kick attempts and has yet to miss an extra point try this weekend. He hasn't been a great starting option due to the lack of opportunities he's gotten this season. The Raiders offense is pretty anemic overall. However, he's made the most of them. He did score 10 fantasy points against the Chiefs just a few weeks ago. While every game script is different, KC allows the 10th-fewest fantasy points to opposing kickers this season. Carlson doesn't have a ton of upside even though he maximizes his opportunities well. He's a risky start, even in deeper fantasy leagues. It's better to stick to reasonably accurate kickers on more consistent offenses.
From RotoBaller
Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers is the team's clear No. 1 receiver, and he'll continue to fill in that role when he takes on the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 13. While he has significant target competition from tight end Brock Bowers, who's elite in his own right, there are plenty of targets to go around for each of them. Meyers is coming off a huge game in Week 12 that saw him catch 10 of his 15 targets for 121 yards. That amounted to 22.1 PPR fantasy points. The opposing Denver Broncos defense made a point of bracketing Bowers, limiting his production severely. The Chiefs actually played him similarly in Week 8, and the Chiefs have given up a ton of points to receivers the last few games. Meyers should be started in all PPR leagues, though, regardless of matchup. He's an extremely skillful wideout.
From RotoBaller
Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Tre Tucker (hip) was cleared from the team's injury report, and will suit up in his Week 13 game against the Kansas City Chiefs. It's not a great matchup, at least not if you look at season-long stats. Curiously, though, the Chiefs have allowed 44.3 PPR fantasy points per game to opposing WRs in their last three matchups. That's second-most in the NFL to only the Atlanta Falcons. Tucker hasn't had many good games this season, though. He had seven catches for 82 yards last week, but will now have yet another starting quarterback change, as QB Aidan O'Connell (thumb) is set to return. Tucker is a risky player to trust in fantasy starting lineups. He's best left on the bench for now.
From RotoBaller
Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers caught just four of his 10 targets for 38 yards in Week 12. You shouldn't care. He'll face a tough Kansas City Chiefs defense in Week 13. You shouldn't care about that either. He'll also have to adapt to another change in his team's starting quarterback position -- Aidan O'Connell (thumb) will be the team's signal-caller on Friday. You still shouldn't care at all because Bowers is one of the best tight ends in the league, and he should continue to earn massive target volume and produce mightily for fantasy managers. Lock him into your starting lineups. He could still finish as the TE1 on the year. He's a beast, and you're lucky or just plain smart if you drafted him.
From RotoBaller
The Las Vegas Raiders D/ST aren't worth starting in any remotely normally structured fantasy football leagues in Week 13, when they'll face the Kansas City Chiefs They scored exactly zero fantasy points against the Denver Broncos in Week 12. They rank near the bottom -- or actually at the bottom by a significant margin -- in most of the important statistical categories defenses are described by, like turnover margin, fumble recoveries, interceptions, sacks, and points allowed. It probably won't be very fun starting them against head coach Andy Reid and quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Leave the Raiders D/ST where it belongs, in free agency.
From RotoBaller
Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Aidan O'Connell (thumb) is set to return to play in Week 13, when he'll take on the Kansas City Chiefs. Interestingly, he led (sort of) his team to a victory over KC last season, though it was an odd, flukey game that saw him pass for only 62 yards. This season, things will be different. We can expect him to have more production, as he'll have elite tight end Brock Bowers and an excellent wide receiver in Jakobi Meyers to throw to. The run game hasn't been very good, though. The team is just 2-9, with virtually zero chance of making the playoffs, and the offense hasn't played very well this season. In fantasy football, AOC is a decent starting option in 2QB/Superflex leagues. In the rest, he should be benched, but is a decent stash.
From RotoBaller
Las Vegas Raiders running back Ameer Abdullah could have another chance to dominate the backfield work for his team. LV will face the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 13. Team lead RB Alexander Mattison (ankle) is questionable for Friday's game with an ankle injury, and his backup, Zamir White (quadricep), has been ruled out. Abdullah surprisingly had a good outing in Week 12, scoring 17.5 PPR fantasy points by rushing eight times for 28 yards and catching five passes for 37 yards and a touchdown. He has a brutal matchup ahead of him, though -- Kansas City allows the least PPR fantasy points per game to opposing running backs. They've done well at stymying tailback receiving production as well. He's an okay-ish RB3/FLEX option in PPR leagues with 12 or more teams.
From RotoBaller
Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft was involved plenty in the Packers' passing game as the team beat the Miami Dolphins 30-17 on Thanksgiving night. Kraft's penchant for gaining and earning volume was on full display as he earned seven targets, catching six of them for 78 yards; all team-highs on the night. Running hot and cold for fantasy purposes, this was the rare game where Kraft put up a usable stat line without scoring a touchdown, so this game could be some growth in Kraft's role moving forward. Looking at Kraft's next matchup in Detroit against the rival Lions, he should be considered a low-end TE1 for fantasy purposes.
From RotoBaller
Green Bay Packers kicker Brandon McManus was perfect, making every kick for the Packers as the team handled the Miami Dolphins 30-17. McManus was busy on the night as he booted a 46-yard field goal to end the first half and then chipped in with two more field goals from 24 and 33 yards. On point-after attempts, McManus was perfect yet again, nailing all three extra points on the night. With the Packers heading east to Detroit to take on the Lions, McManus should have plenty of opportunities for the Packers, so consider him a solid streaming candidate for fantasy at kicker.
From RotoBaller
Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs has a productive day at the office as the Packers rolled up the Miami Dolphins 30-17 at Lambeau Field. Jacobs took quite a bit of rushing volume but was pretty inefficient with it as he rushed 19 times for 43 yards, but got into the end zone toward the end of the first quarter. Where Jacobs made his night was in the passing game, as he caught 4-of-4 passes for 74 yards, including a 49-yard catch and run in the fourth quarter. Jacobs should be considered a low-end fantasy RB1 for Thursday Night Football, where the Packers will travel to Ford Field to take on the Detroit Lions.
From RotoBaller
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed made the most of his catches in Week 13 as the Packers beat the Dolphins 30-17. Reed earned six targets on the night, catching three of them for 24 yards and scoring two touchdowns on the night. Kicking off the game's scoring was Reed, who caught a three-yard touchdown. Later, inside two minutes remaining in the first half, Reed caught a 12-yard touchdown from Jordan Love. Reed has been hot and cold this season, but he was clearly prioritized in this one. With the Packers heading to the Motor City to take on the rival Detroit Lions next Thursday night, Reed should get mid-range WR2 treatment, knowing his week-to-week production can be spotty.
From RotoBaller
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson brought in a couple of big plays in Green Bay's 30-17 victory over the Miami Dolphins on Thanksgiving night. Watson put Week 12's blanking behind him as he caught two of his four targets on the night for 67 yards; the first being a 21-yard grab that set up Jayden Reed's second touchdown, and his other catch being a 46-yard snag in third quarter that helped set up a field goal. We know Watson is always a threat to bring in a big play, but his role in the offense is very boom-or-bust for fantasy purposes. Watson's next game will be in Detroit against the Lions, and he should be considered a low-end flex play for that matchup.
From RotoBaller
New York Giants tight end Theo Johnson set a career-high in his rookie season with 54 receiving yards in Thursday's 27-20 loss to the Dallas Cowboys. Johnson caught all five of his targets, averaging 10.8 yards per reception, including a team-long 18-yard grab that tied Malik Nabers for the game's longest receiving play for New York. His steady performance marked the fifth consecutive game with 35 or more receiving yards, underscoring his growing reliability in the offense. With 7.9 fantasy points in Week 13, Johnson continues to emerge as a solid option for fantasy managers, particularly in leagues valuing consistent production at the tight end position.
From RotoBaller
Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love was efficient and on point much of the night as the Packers beat the Dolphins 30-17 on Thanksgiving night. Love was 21-of-28 passing for 274 yards with two touchdowns on the night; both strikes to Jayden Reed from three yards out to kick off the scoring and from 12 yards out in the second quarter. Getting back into the swing of things was Love, as he put together back-to-back multi-touchdown efforts since the five-game streak of multiple touchdowns to kick off the 2024 season. With a showdown looming with the Detroit Lions, Love is a low-end fantasy QB1.
From RotoBaller
New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers was the focal point of the passing game in Thursday's 27-20 loss to the Dallas Cowboys, leading the team with 13 targets, eight receptions, and 69 receiving yards. His 18-yard grab was the longest of the day for the Giants, though his average of 8.6 yards per catch reflected the short-yardage nature of his opportunities. Nabers had a 29-yard fourth-quarter reception wiped out by a holding penalty, adding to a frustrating day that also included two drops. Despite these setbacks, his 11.3 fantasy points underline what you get as a floor with Nabers. Managers should remain optimistic about his consistent involvement in the Giants' offense, even amid some missed opportunities.
From RotoBaller
New York Giants running back Tyrone Tracy Jr. contributed both on the ground and through the air in Thursday's 27-20 loss to the Dallas Cowboys. He rushed nine times for 32 yards, averaging 3.6 yards per carry, with a longest run of seven yards, and scored a one-yard touchdown following a 28-yard scramble by quarterback Drew Lock. Tracy also caught two passes for 33 yards, bringing his total to 65 yards from scrimmage. His 13.5 fantasy points were solid, though his nine touches marked his lowest involvement since Week 5, as Devin Singletary saw increased action with seven carries. Tracy's reduced workload may be a trend to monitor for fantasy managers moving forward.
