Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Darnell Washington had only seven catches as a rookie. While the 23-year-old has been more productive during the 2024-25 campaign, he hasn't routinely been involved enough to justify giving him a spot in fantasy lineups. With that in mind, the Steelers have a favorable matchup against the Bengals in Week 13. However, that still won't make Washington a viable fantasy option in any format, especially with Pat Freiermuth available.
From RotoBaller
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy (shoulder) is anticipated to play in Sunday night's matchup versus the Bills. The signal-caller wasn't on the field for the Week 12 loss to the Packers. As a result, Brandon Allen got the start, finishing with 199 yards, one touchdown, and one pick off 17-for-29 passing. If Purdy is officially cleared to suit up on Sunday, he could have a tough time getting it going, considering heavy snow is in the forecast for Buffalo. Still, he should at least be considered a starting fantasy option in multi-QB setups. But if Purdy isn't out there, Allen doesn't have much upside in any format.
From RotoBaller
According to NFL Media's Ian Rapoport, Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith "may work out on Sunday to see if he can go" against the Baltimore Ravens. However, Rapoport added that "there is not a lot of optimism that he'll be out there." The wideout wasn't available for the Week 12 win over the Los Angeles Rams. He also didn't practice on Wednesday and logged only limited sessions on Thursday and Friday, resulting in a questionable designation. Fantasy managers likely won't see the wideout back on the field in Week 13. If that turns out to be true, Saquon Barkley, A.J. Brown, and Dallas Goedert should see more attention from Jalen Hurts. Yet, nobody outside of that trio can be trusted to fill the void caused by Smith's expected absence.

The Denver Broncos defense/special teams unit should be in all starting fantasy lineups as they get set to host the visiting Cleveland Browns on Monday Night Football in Week 13. Through 12 weeks, the Broncos defense is tied for fourth in overall fantasy points and also ranks second in points per game (16.8), third in total yards allowed per game (296), first in sacks (44) and is tied for 10th in takeaways (15). It's been a shutdown and opportunistic D, and they will be getting defensive lineman Zach Allen (ankle) back after he sat out the Week 12 win over the division-rival Las Vegas Raiders. Cleveland's offense has looked better since quarterback Jameis Winston took over for Deshaun Watson (Achilles), but the Browns are still averaging only 292.5 total yards per game, which is fourth-worst in the NFL. In the last five weeks, Cleveland has been a top-10 matchup for fantasy defenses.
From RotoBaller
Denver Broncos kicker Wil Lutz will once again be a top-10 fantasy kicking option in Week 13 when the Broncos face the visiting Cleveland Browns on Monday Night Football. The Broncos offense is peaking under impressive rookie quarterback Bo Nix, which has in turn given Lutz more fantasy upside and more kicking opportunities. The 30-year-old veteran made a season-high five field goals in the Week 12 win over the Raiders and is now tied for 13th among kickers with 8.2 fantasy points per game. Lutz has also been one of the more accurate kickers in the league in his last two years with Denver. He's only missed three of his 27 field-goal attempts in 2024, with one being blocked and another from 60-plus yards out. Against a Browns defense that has allowed 24.3 points per game this year (11th most), Lutz should have a pretty safe floor as a starting fantasy kicker on Monday evening.
From RotoBaller
Denver Broncos wide receiver Lil'Jordan Humphrey is second on the team this year in targets behind Courtland Sutton, but he cannot be trusted in starting fantasy lineups for the Monday night matchup in Week 13 against the Cleveland Browns. The matchup is a good one for fantasy purposes, with the Browns allowing the seventh-most half-PPR points per game to the position, but Humphrey could see even more competition for targets if Josh Reynolds (hand) returns from Injured Reserve. In addition, rookie Devaughn Vele has been more involved of late and has essentially become rookie QB Bo Nix's No. 2 target behind Sutton. The best fantasy managers can hope for with Humphrey is that he uses his after-the-catch skills to break a big play. Humphrey has scored only once in 2024, has gone over five catches in a game only once and has 50-plus yards only twice in 12 games.
From RotoBaller
Minnesota Vikings running back Cam Akers shouldn't be relied on as a viable source of fantasy output this Sunday when he takes on the Arizona Cardinals. Akers looked like he was trending toward commanding a larger share of the workload, but it appeared to be for just a few games as backfield mate Aaron Jones battled through an injury. Last week, in the team's win over the Chicago Bears, Jones garnered all but four of Minnesota's 29 backfield touches. The lead back is again primed for another productive day against a Cardinals squad letting up 24.6 fantasy points per game to running backs -- the tenth-most in the league. With Jones back to dominating touches in the Vikings' offense, the 25-year-old is again relegated to handcuff or deep-league-stash status. Akers is RotoBaller's PPR RB51 in this week's rankings.
From RotoBaller
Denver Broncos rookie wide receiver Devaughn Vele has ascended to the role of WR2 in Denver over the last several weeks and is worth considering as a WR4/flex for starting fantasy lineups for Monday night's game against the visiting Cleveland Browns. Since Josh Reynolds (hand) went on Injured Reserve after Week 5, Vele has played over 60% of the offensive snaps in four of seven games, including each of the last three. In the last three weeks, the 26-year-old seventh-rounder out of Utah has caught 14 of his 18 targets for 185 yards (13.21 yards per catch) and a touchdown. He has only scored once in his first eight NFL games, but his role is growing and he's shown good chemistry with rookie quarterback Bo Nix. Reynolds could return from IR to play this weekend, but we'd be surprised if Vele doesn't have a big role against a Browns defense that has allowed the seventh-most fantasy points to WRs per game.
From RotoBaller
Dynasty | Cardinals running back James Conner has signed a two-year contract extension. Dynasty Analysis: Conner's $9.5 million average annual salary will make him the seventh-highest-paid running back by annual value and the contract will keep him in Arizona through the 2026 season. This all but ensures Conner will be seen as the starter for the next two seasons, making Trey Benson managers more than a little disappointed. As for Conner, his dynasty value as a RB2 looks about as secure as it can get as he tries to churn out two more solid fantasy seasons.
New Orleans Saints tight end Juwan Johnson has a great matchup on tap in Week 13 when his team lines up against the visiting Los Angeles Rams. Johnson has been under a 50% snap share just once in his last nine appearances, though he's averaging just 2.56 receptions and 27.9 yards per outing over that span. Fortunately, he'll get an excellent opportunity to produce this weekend in a Rams defense that has been a sieve all season -- allowing 362.0 yards per game to opposing offenses, the sixth-most in the league. They also rank in the top ten in fantasy points allowed per game to the TE position (13.8). Even in the favorable spot, the 28-year-old is tough to trust as more than a low-floor touchdown-dependent fantasy option. He's RotoBaller's PPR TE31 in this week's rankings.
From RotoBaller
Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton has gone from being a touchdown-dependent WR4/flex this year to being a top-15 pass-catching option for fantasy managers heading into a Monday night primetime showdown against the Cleveland Browns in Week 13. Thanks to 36 receptions (48 targets) for 467 yards and three touchdowns, Sutton is tied with Cooper Kupp for second in football (behind only Ja'Marr Chase) in half-PPR points in the last five games. The 29-year-old finished three yards shy of his third 100-yard game in last week's win over the Raiders and also scored twice. Sutton suddenly has become a must-start for fantasy managers as improving rookie quarterback Bo Nix's go-to target in the passing game. He has at least eight targets in the last five weeks and ranks sixth among all WRs with 95 targets. Start Sutton against a Browns defense that allows the seventh-most fantasy points to WRs.
From RotoBaller
Washington Commanders LB Bobby Wagner is averaging 8.3 tackles per game this season, and he has recorded at least seven tackles in 10 of his 12 games.
From TheHuddle
Denver Broncos running backs Jaleel McLaughlin and Audric Estime will be involved in a committee backfield in Denver for the Monday night matchup against the Cleveland Browns in Week 13, making them hard to recommend for a starting lineup spot in fantasy in most leagues. Each of McLaughlin and Estime have led the Broncos' backfield in separate weeks in the last three games, but the problem is Javonte Williams also remains involved despite lots of inconsistency in 2024. McLaughlin looked to be third on the depth chart a few weeks ago but led the backfield with seven carries for 44 yards in last week's win over the Raiders. Estime had just three carries for 15 yards. Both RBs have seen double-digit carries once this year (McLaughlin way back in Week 1). Last week in the win over Vegas, McLaughlin played only 29% of the snaps, with Estime playing 7%.
From RotoBaller
Houston Texans wide receiver John Metchie III gets an exploitable matchup in Week 13 when he squares off against the Jacksonville Jaguars in a divisional clash. The 24-year-old has seen his usage increase since Week 9, logging 61% or more of the team's snaps. It has yet to amount to much regarding fantasy output, but he has become a staple in Houston's lineup. He'll line up across from a Jacksonville defense that's allowed the third-most fantasy points per game to wide receivers (41.3). Additionally, the Jags have turned over their opponents only eight times this year -- tied for the second-lowest mark in the league. Despite the excellent matchup, Metchie III will only be a recommended option in deep leagues and DFS contests. He's RotoBaller's PPR WR71 ahead of Week 13's slate.
From RotoBaller
Denver Broncos running back Javonte Williams hasn't rewarded his fantasy managers too many times during the 2024 season, which makes him a pretty shaky RB3/flex for the upcoming Monday night matchup against the visiting Cleveland Browns in Week 13. The 24-year-old has not looked explosive much this year -- he's averaging only 3.7 yards per carry -- and has posted double-digit half-PPR points in only three of his 12 games. Williams has given fantasy managers under 2.0 half-PPR points in two of the last three weeks. If that wasn't bad enough, Denver's backfield is slowly evolving into a three-man committee that also includes Jaleel McLaughlin and rookie Audric Estime. The Browns defense is vulnerable on the ground (130.6 rushing yards allowed per game), but they've surrendered the eight-fewest half-PPR points per game to RBs as well. Williams is going to have to be efficient on limited touches.
From RotoBaller
Dallas Cowboys LB Eric Kendricks is tied for sixth in the NFL with 107 total tackles, and he has recorded at least eight tackles in all 11 of his games this season.
From TheHuddle
Cleveland Browns kicker Dustin Hopkins has struggled with his accuracy in 2024, hitting 15 of his 21 field-goal attempts thus far. He will look to turn in a big game in Week 13's Monday night game against the Denver Broncos. The Broncos have been a decent matchup for fantasy kickers this season, allowing the 14th-fewest fantasy points per game to the position thus far. Hopkins and the Cleveland offense have been too inconsistent to trust him as a high-end fantasy option in Week 13, so fantasy gamers should look elsewhere for their starter at the position.
From RotoBaller
Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix (back) popped up on the team's Week 13 injury report with a back injury but practiced in full on Friday and Saturday and was cleared to play for Monday night's game against the visiting Cleveland Browns. Nix has put up at least 20 fantasy points in four of his last five games, including two 30-plus-point performances for fantasy managers. The Browns defense is by no means the greatest matchup for a signal-caller but they've been vulnerable of late and have allowed three touchdowns to wideouts in the last two contests. The 24-year-old first-rounder out of Oregon got off to an ice-cold start in his first few NFL games, but he's quickly settled into head coach Sean Payton's offense and continues to consistently make plays with his arm and legs while limiting turnovers. Nix's arrow is pointing up, and he'll have QB1 upside yet again in Denver on Monday night.
From RotoBaller
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Johnny Wilson (hamstring) has officially been ruled out for Sunday's road tilt against the Baltimore Ravens. The hulking wideout was a late addition to Philadelphia's practice report -- logging a DNP on Friday after popping up with a soft tissue issue. It's unfortunate news for the rookie, who participated on the most snaps of his young career in last Sunday's 37-20 win over the Los Angeles Rams (51). However, it didn't amount to much, commanding just one target in the blowout victory as running back Saquon Barkley stole the show. Wilson will miss at least one week, with fellow WR Jahan Dotson projected to be the de facto No. 2 option unless DeVonta Smith (hamstring) is on the positive side of his questionable designation. Look for wide receiver Parris Campbell to see some snaps if Smith can't suit up. Campbell was signed to the Eagles' active roster on Saturday.
From RotoBaller
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Elijah Moore was quiet in a Week 12 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers, catching just three passes for 21 yards on a cold, snowy day in Cleveland. He will look to bounce back against the Denver Broncos on the road in Week 13's Monday night game. The Broncos have been tough on opposing receivers this season, allowing the third-fewest fantasy points per game to the position. With Cedric Tillman (concussion) set to miss the game, Moore could see even more work than usual pushed onto his plate, making him a WR4/flex option in deeper fantasy leagues this week.
