Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku scored his third touchdown of the season in a Week 10 loss to the New York Jets. It was a quiet game for Njoku other than that, however, as he only finished with two catches for 21 yards in the loss. He will look to carve out a larger role for himself in a Week 11 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens at home. The Ravens have been stout against tight ends this season, allowing just the 22nd-most fantasy points per game to the position. Njoku popped up on the injury report with a limited session on Wednesday but it was just a veteran rest day as he is listed without an injury designation heading into the weekend. The emergence of rookie tight end Harold Fannin Jr. has capped Njoku's ceiling in the Cleveland offense, leaving him as a mid-range TE2 heading into Week 11.
From RotoBaller
Cleveland Browns DE Alex Wright (quad) did not practice all week and has been ruled out for Week 11 against the Baltimore Ravens. DL Maliek Collins (oblique) was limited in practice on Friday, Nov. 14, and is listed as questionable. CB Denzel Ward (rest, ribs) did not practice on Friday and no longer appears on the injury report. LB Carson Schwesinger (shoulder) was limited in practice on Friday and no longer appears on the injury report. LB Jerome Baker (Achilles), G Joel Bitonio (rest), WR Isaiah Bond (foot), TE Harold Fannin Jr. (hamstring), DE Myles Garrett (rest), OT Cornelius Lucas (back), TE David Njoku (rest), and WR Cedric Tillman (glute) practiced in full on Friday and no longer appear on the injury report.
From TheHuddle
Cleveland Browns DE Alex Wright (quadriceps) did not participate in practice Thursday, Nov. 13. LB Jerome Baker (Achilles), WR Isaiah Bond (foot), OT Jack Conklin (non-injury), TE Harold Fannin Jr. (hamstring), LB Carson Schwesinger (shoulder) and WR Cedric Tillman (glute) were limited during practice. OG Joel Bitonio (non-injury), DE Myles Garrett (non-injury), OT Cornelius Lucas (back), TE David Njoku (non-injury) and CB Denzel Ward (non-injury) fully participated in practice.
From TheHuddle
Cleveland Browns TE David Njoku (non-injury) fully participated in practice Thursday, Nov. 13.
Fantasy Spin: Njoku still has a role in the passing game even with Harold Fannin Jr. earning more targets during games. He has caught a touchdown in each of the last two games but is probably more of a No. 2 tight end in fantasy leagues.
From TheHuddle
Cleveland Browns TE David Njoku (non-injury) was limited during practice Wednesday, Nov. 12.
Fantasy Spin: Njoku is not posting big yardages this season but has caught a touchdown pass in three of the last four games. He will see a handful of targets again this week against the Baltimore Ravens but will probably not be a starting option in most leagues.

From TheHuddle
Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku caught both of his targets for 21 yards and a touchdown in a 27-20 loss to the New York Jets in Week 10. Njoku got off to a fast start in the contest, hauling in a nine-yard touchdown pass from Dillon Gabriel in the first quarter. It was all downhill from there, however, as Njoku tacked on just one more catch, a 12-yarder, in the contest while rookie tight end Harold Fannin Jr. caught four of his seven targets for 44 yards. Njoku is on pace for his slowest season in years as he has just 29 catches for 281 yards and three touchdowns in eight games for the Browns. He will be a mid-range TE2 in Week 11's home matchup against the Baltimore Ravens. Njoku caught four passes for 40 scoreless yards back when these two teams met in Week 2.
From RotoBaller
Cleveland Browns TE David Njoku caught two passes for 21 yards and one touchdown against the New York Jets in Week 10. He was targeted two times during the game.
Fantasy Spin: Njoku was held to under 40 yards for the third straight game but does have a touchdown in back-to-back games. He continues to share playing time with Harold Fannin Jr. but should see a handful of targets in the next game. He is likely a No. 2 tight end in fantasy leagues and is not a starting option.
From TheHuddle
Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku will come out of his bye to take on the New York Jets on the road in Week 10. Njoku's bye came at a good time as he was dealing with a knee issue before Week 9. The veteran tight end appears to be fully over the issue as he is listed without an injury designation heading into his matchup against New York. The Jets have been average against tight ends this season, allowing the 15th-most fantasy points per game to the position. The Browns could possibly be without Harold Fannin Jr. (hamstring), who was limited in practice on Friday with a hamstring injury. If Fannin doesn't end up playing, Njoku would be a solid mid-range TE1 in fantasy leagues. If Fannin ultimately suits up, Njoku checks in as more of a low-end TE1.
From RotoBaller
Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku appeared ecstatic on Wednesday, as the passing of the trade deadline ensures his stay with the team through the season. The nine-year veteran has appeared in seven games this season, recording 27 receptions for 260 yards and two touchdowns. While there was speculation the explosive tight end could be moved at the deadline, he reiterated his intent to work out an extension with the team and continue to build something in the state of Ohio. Njoku should be considered a low-end TE1 ahead of the team's Week 10 matchup with the lowly Jets.
From RotoBaller
Despite the Cleveland Browns being well out of the playoff hunt and seeing the emergence of a rookie tight end, the team is unlikely to move veteran tight end David Njoku at the trade deadline, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Harold Fannin Jr., a rookie from Bowling Green, has been one of the team's few bright spots on offense, breaking out for 38 catches, 352 yards, and two touchdowns through eight games, which has made Njoku the subject of trade conjecture, but Schefter is reporting the Browns are more likely to buy than sell. For managers, Njoku is still a top-20 fantasy tight end alongside Fannin, but the continued split likely will keep him from being a solid, every-week starting tight end like he had been in years past.
From RotoBaller
Cleveland Browns TE David Njoku might be a potential trade option heading into the NFL trade deadline, especially with the emergence of rookie TE Harold Fannin Jr. Njoku played in Week 8 against the New England Patriots, after missing the previous game with a knee ailment. He played just 32 offensive snaps, to 40 for Fannin.
Fantasy Spin: Njoku has been a low-end TE1 in fantasy leagues before, but he has really fallen off. One, he hasn't been healthy lately, two, Fannin has emerged as a threat to his snaps and targets, and three, the quarterback play in Cleveland just hasn't been very good. With Njoku in the final year of his contract, he might be a tremendous trade target for a contender looking for skill position pieces to diversify their offense a bit. Njoku getting moved might be the best thing to bump his fantasy value back up, as he has really tailed off in 2025 for the reasons listed above.
From TheHuddle
Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku could be made available for trade with the deadline coming up on November 4th, according to Chris Easterling of the Akron Beacon Journal. Njoku is currently in the final year of the four-year, 54.75 million contract signed back in 2022, and would be among the top tight ends available. The 29-year-old has caught 27 of his 41 targets for 260 yards and two touchdowns in seven games this season for Cleveland. He has been overshadowed a bit by third-round rookie tight end Harold Fannin Jr., and his emergence would make sense as to why the Browns may move Njoku. In addition, the Browns claimed tight end Brendan Bates off waivers on Monday after their loss to the New England Patriots, perhaps signaling what could happen at the trade deadline with Njoku.
From RotoBaller
Cleveland Browns TE David Njoku ended up with four receptions for 37 yards and a touchdown on five targets in Week 8 against the New England Patriots.
Fantasy Spin: Njoku has fallen into a timeshare with rookie Harold Fannin Jr., who has really come on and been a force in the Cleveland offense. However, Chief is still worthy of high-end TE2 fantasy consideration in leagues of 12 or more teams.
From TheHuddle
Cleveland Browns TE David Njoku (knee) is active for Week 8's game against the New England Patriots.
Fantasy Spin: Njoku had been listed as questionable on the injury report after being a limited participant in all three of Cleveland's practice sessions during the week. He should see multiple targets in the Cleveland offense and can be a low-end TE1 option in fantasy leagues.
From TheHuddle
Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku (knee) is officially active for Sunday's Week 8 contest against the New England Patriots. He was listed as questionable after being a limited participant in practice. The 29-year-old is returning from a one-game absence and should step back into the No. 1 tight end role on Sunday. Through six games this year, he has 23 catches, 223 yards, and one touchdown, ranking as the overall TE20 in PPR leagues. Njoku has 15 targets, nine catches, 95 yards, and a touchdown through two games with Dillon Gabriel, so perhaps he'll find success as a high-end TE2 this week. It helps that he's playing the Patriots, who have allowed the 12th-most fantasy points and eighth-most receptions to opposing tight ends in 2025.
From RotoBaller
Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku (knee) is officially listed as questionable ahead of his Week 8 matchup against the New England Patriots. Njoku's knee injury held him out of action in a Week 7 win over the Miami Dolphins, although he seems to be on the mend, logging limited practices all this week heading into the matchup vs. the Patriots. If Njoku is able to suit up, he will take on a New England defense that is allowing the 13th-most fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends this season. Fantasy managers rostering Njoku will want to have a backup plan in place, as his status could come down to a game-time decision. He sets up as a high-end TE2 in fantasy if he ultimately ends up playing.
From RotoBaller
Cleveland Browns DT Adin Huntington (concussion) and WR David Njoku (knee) were limited during practice Friday, Oct. 24, and are listed as questionable for Week 8. S Rayshawn Jenkins (back, wrist) and WR Jerry Jeudy (knee) were limited during practice but are not on the injury report. OG Joel Bitonio (non-injury), CB Tyson Campbell (quadriceps), DT Maliek Collins (non-injury), OT Jack Conklin (non-injury), S Grant Delpit (toe), DT Mason Graham (knee), DT Michael Hall Jr. (knee), DT Shelby Harris (knee), C Ethan Pocic (illness), CB Denzel Ward (hip) and TE Blake Whiteheart (shoulder) fully participated in practice and are not on the injury report.
From TheHuddle
Cleveland Browns TE David Njoku (knee) was limited during practice Friday, Oct. 24, and is listed as questionable for Week 8.
Fantasy Spin: Njoku should have a decent chance to be available for the Week 8 game, but fantasy players will need to check the inactive list for his official status. He will see a good amount of targets if he plays and can be a low-end No. 1 tight end in fantasy leagues.
From TheHuddle
Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku (knee) is listed as questionable to play in Week 8 versus the hosting New England Patriots on Sunday, according to Mark Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer. Njoku missed the blowout win over the Miami Dolphins last Sunday due to his knee injury, and he's in danger of missing his second straight game. There has been optimism that Njoku will be able to return this weekend, but his status for Sunday's game in Boston might come down to the wire on Sunday morning. If he misses a second straight game, rookie Harold Fannin Jr. would once again be a clear top-12 option at the TE position in fantasy. The 29-year-old has become more of a high-end TE2 in fantasy this year because of Fannin's presence and immediate production in his rookie year. In six games so far, Njoku has 23 catches, 223 yards, and only one touchdown for the Browns.
