Washington Commanders WR Noah Brown (groin, knee) was placed on injured reserve on Wednesday, Oct. 15. He will miss a minimum of four weeks.
Fantasy Spin: In the absence of Brown, Luke McCaffrey and Jaylin Lane could see some of his targets. Neither will get enough targets to be worth plugging into your fantasy lineup, however.
From TheHuddle
The Washington Commanders announced on Wednesday that they placed wide receiver Noah Brown (groin, knee) on Injured Reserve. After already missing the team's last four games with groin and knee injuries, Brown will now be forced to miss at least four more games and will not be eligible to return until the Week 11 game on Sunday, Nov. 11, against the Miami Dolphins. Washington has also been without top wideout Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) for the last several games, leading to Deebo Samuel Sr. getting more work in the offense. With Brown now out for at least another four contests, it means that Luke McCaffrey and rookie Jaylin Lane should have a clear path to more playing time for the foreseeable future, at least until McLaurin is able to return. Brown, 29, caught three of seven targets for 36 yards and no touchdowns in the first two games of 2025 before getting hurt.
From RotoBaller
The Washington Commanders have declared LB Ale Kaho, WR Terry McLaurin, DL Eddie Goldman, OT Brandon Coleman, WR Noah Brown, QB Josh Johnson and LB Kain Medrano inactive for Week 6.
From TheHuddle
Washington Commanders WR Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) and WR Noah Brown (groin, knee) did not participate in practice Saturday, Oct. 11, and have been ruled out for Week 6. OG Samuel Cosmi (knee) fully participated in practice but is listed as doubtful. RB Chris Rodriguez Jr. (calf) and WR Deebo Samuel (heel) did not practice and are listed as questionable. TE John Bates (shoulder) and QB Jayden Daniels (knee) fully participated in practice and are not on the injury report.
From TheHuddle
Washington Commanders WR Noah Brown (groin, knee) has been ruled out for the Week 6 game.
Fantasy Spin: The Commanders are dealing with injuries to several of their receivers, so Luke McCaffrey and Jaylin Lane could see more work in the passing game. McCaffrey has had some success this season and can be a possible flex option in deeper leagues.
From TheHuddle
Washington Commanders head coach Dan Quinn said that wide receiver Noah Brown (groin, knee) will not play in the team's Week 6 matchup against the Chicago Bears, per Tashan Reed of The Washington Post. Brown has not played since Week 2, so this will mark his fourth straight game on the sidelines. The 29-year-old recorded three catches for 36 yards on seven targets across two games before getting injured. In addition to Brown, Washington will be without star wideout Terry McLaurin (quad), and Deebo Samuel Sr. (heel) is battling a heel injury that could hold him out as well. Depending on Samuel Sr.'s status, Washington could be relying on Luke McCaffrey, Jaylin Noel, and Chris Moore at wide receiver in Week 6 against Chicago.
From RotoBaller
Washington Commanders wide receiver Noah Brown (groin/knee) was not spotted early in Saturday's practice session ahead of Monday Night Football against the Chicago Bears. Brown has missed the past three games with a groin injury but managed to practice in a limited capacity on both Thursday and Friday. His Saturday absence could be a rest day as he works his way back toward game readiness. Brown has fond memories against the Bears, as he hauled in the game-winning Hail Mary in last season's matchup. If he's unable to suit up in Week 6, second-year receiver Luke McCaffrey is expected to see additional opportunities, especially with the current injuries in the receiving room.
From RotoBaller

Washington Commanders wide receiver Noah Brown (groin, knee) has officially been ruled out for Week 4 against the Atlanta Falcons. Brown has managed to play in just two games so far in 2025, recording three catches for 36 yards on seven targets. With both Brown and star Commanders wideout Terry McLaurin (quad) sidelined in Week 4, Washington will turn to Deebo Samuel Sr., Jaylin Lane, Luke McCaffrey, and Chris Moore to anchor its wide receiver corps. Even with Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels (knee) also ruled out, Samuel Sr. profiles as a must-start fantasy wide receiver in Week 4 due to his massive target upside. Brown should remain off the radar of fantasy managers.
From RotoBaller
Washington Commanders wide receiver Noah Brown (groin, knee) was tagged with a DNP for Thursday's practice, per the team. Not only has the veteran wideout dealt with a nagging knee injury he picked up during training camp, but a groin issue suffered during Week 2's loss to the Packers has kept him from practice over the past two weeks. With teammate Terry McLaurin (quad) also not practicing due to a quad ailment, it's possible that Deebo Samuel Sr., Jaylin Lane, Chris Moore, and Luke McCaffrey handle wide receiver duties in Sunday's road outing with the Atlanta Falcons. Expect an update on Brown and McLaurin following Friday's session, but they're currently trending downward.
