New York Jets wide receiver Josh Reynolds (hip) was placed on Injured Reserve after suffering a hip injury in the team's Week 8 thriller against the Cincinnati Bengals. Reynolds is eligible to return in Week 13 against the Falcons. The 30-year-old was having a quiet season in a bad Jets passing attack, catching 11 of 21 targets for 101 yards in five games. With star wideout Garrett Wilson (knee) also injured, the Jets will be relying on a wide receiver crew consisting of two newly acquired wideouts in John Metchie III and Adonai Mitchell, along with Arian Smith and Tyler Johnson.

New York Jets WR Josh Reynolds (hip) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list Saturday, Oct. 25.

From TheHuddle

Oct 25 6:40pm ET

New York Jets wide receiver Josh Reynolds (hip) was placed on the injured reserve on Saturday. Reynolds popped up on the injury report on Friday due to a hip issue. It appears that the injury was pretty serious as Reynolds will miss the next four games. That being said, Reynolds won't be able to return until the last game in November. The Jets will now be using a wide receiver group of Arian Smith, Allen Lazard, and Tyler Johnson for Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Reynolds can be dropped in most fantasy formats as he wasn't doing much anyway.

From RotoBaller

Oct 25 2:13pm ET

New York Jets WR Josh Reynolds (hip) has been ruled out of the Week 8 game.

Fantasy Spin: The Jets with be without both Reynolds and Garrett Wilson this week, so Tyler Johnson, Allen Lazard and Arian Smith will likely be the main options in the passing game. Either receivers should see a few targets during the game but can be avoided in fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Oct 25 4:10am ET

Barring health, New York Jets wide receiver Josh Reynolds (hip) is slated to operate as the team's No. 1 wideout in this Sunday's road clash with the Cincinnati Bengals. The veteran led New York in targets in last weekend's 13-6 loss to the Carolina Panthers, and will have a chance to do so again with teammate Garrett Wilson (knee) deemed inactive for a second straight contest. Unfortunately for Reynolds, he was a late-week addition to the injury report with a hip ailment, subsequently missing Friday's practice. Due to the timing of the injury, it's possible that the 30-year-old, who is listed as questionable, doesn't suit up himself. In that instance, rookie Arian Smith figures to lead New York's WR corps in snaps, with Allen Lazard and Tyler Johnson vying for playing time behind him. If Reynolds plays, he'll rank as RotoBaller's PPR WR57 for Week 8.

From RotoBaller

Oct 24 5:50pm ET

New York Jets wide receiver Josh Reynolds (hip) is officially listed as questionable to play on Sunday in Week 8 versus the hosting Cincinnati Bengals, according to Rich Cimini of ESPN. Reynolds was supposed to be limited in Friday's practice, according to head coach Aaron Glenn, but he was unable to suit up. This is pretty concerning for an 0-7 Jets squad that already ruled out top wideout Garrett Wilson (knee) for the second straight game. If Reynolds ends up being inactive, too, the Jets would be down to Arian Smith, Allen Lazard, and Tyler Johnson as their top receivers, with veteran quarterback Tyrod Taylor (knee) presumably starting under center. Even against a very beatable Bengals defense, the Jets could be headed for a third straight game without an offensive touchdown. Reynolds led the team in targets in last week's loss to the Panthers with Wilson out, but he caught only three of his nine looks for 29 yards and no touchdowns.

Oct 24 5:03pm ET

New York Jets CB Sauce Gardner (concussion), CB Cam Jones (hip), RB Kene Nwangwu (concussion), TE Stone Smartt (quad), DL Jay Tufele (knee), and WR Garrett Wilson (knee) did not practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 8 against the Cincinnati Bengals. WR Josh Reynolds (hip) did not practice on Friday, Oct. 24, and is listed as questionable. TE Mason Taylor (quad) and QB Tyrod Taylor (knee) were limited in practice on Friday and are listed as questionable. RB Breece Hall (knee) practiced in full on Friday and is listed as questionable. CB Michael Carter II (concussion), DL Jermaine Johnson (ankle), and CB Qwan'tez Stiggers (hip) practiced in full on Friday and no longer appear on the injury report.

From TheHuddle

Oct 24 10:50am ET

The New York Jets could be without both star wide receiver Garrett Wilson (knee) and rookie tight end Mason Taylor (quad) in Week 8, as both players missed practice on Thursday due to injury. That would likely put veteran wide receiver Josh Reynolds in position to be his team's top option in the passing game in a favorable matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals. With Wilson sidelined in Week 7, Reynolds was targeted nine times, hauling in three catches for 29 yards. New York has yet to name a starter at quarterback for Week 8, and neither Tyrod Taylor (knee) nor Justin Fields projects to provide Reynolds with top-tier quarterback play. Still, the opportunity for massive target volume makes Reynolds a viable streaming option for fantasy managers. In Week 8 against Cincinnati, Reynolds profiles as a low-end PPR flex option in deep leagues.

From RotoBaller

Oct 19 8:23pm ET

New York Jets WR Josh Reynolds posted three receptions for 29 yards on a team-high nine targets in Week 7 against the Carolina Panthers.

Fantasy Spin: Reynolds picked up a lion's share of the targets Garrett Wilson would normally get, but he was unable to get on the same page with Justin Fields or Tyrod Taylor while the star receiver Wilson was sidelined.

From TheHuddle

Oct 17 9:10pm ET

New York Jets wide receiver Josh Reynolds will get a chance to operate as the team's WR1 in this weekend's home matchup with the Carolina Panthers. Reynolds has been off the fantasy radar all season in New York's low-volume passing attack. However, he'll have an opportunity to shine this Sunday with teammate Garrett Wilson (knee) battling a hyperextended knee. While Wilson is officially listed as doubtful, it's expected that he will be unavailable in Week 7, leaving Reynolds and tight end Mason Taylor as the Jets' primary pass catchers outside of running back Breece Hall. Even with the suspected bump in usage, the 30-year-old remains a lower-end option for fantasy, landing as RotoBaller's PPR WR47 for his outing with Carolina.

From RotoBaller

Oct 17 3:53pm ET

New York Jets LB Cam Jones (hip), QB Qwan'tez Stiggers (hip), and WR Garrett Wilson (knee) did not practice all week and have been listed as doubtful for Week 7 against the Carolina Panthers. CB Michael Carter II (concussion) and LB Ja'Markis Weston (groin) practiced in full all week and are listed as questionable. WR Josh Reynolds (hip) practiced in full on Friday, Oct. 17, and no longer appears on the injury report.

From TheHuddle

Oct 17 9:50am ET

New York Jets wide receiver Josh Reynolds is expected to see a bump in usage as Garrett Wilson (knee) is expected to miss some time. Reynolds operated as the clear No. 2 WR opposite Wilson, who was the focal point of the passing attack, and his production won't be directly replaced. Reynolds has just eight catches for 72 yards on 12 targets for the season. The Jets' pass game has been ineffective under Justin Fields, but they'll look to bounce back in Week 7 against Carolina. Reynolds and rookie tight end Mason Taylor are likely to see more targets come their way. The veteran WR has some low-end flex appeal in deeper leagues for Week 7.

From RotoBaller

Oct 16 4:33pm ET

New York Jets WR Josh Reynolds (hip) was limited during practice Thursday, Oct. 16.

Fantasy Spin: Reynolds seems to be on track to play in Week 7 as long as he does not suffer any setbacks. He is in line to be one of the main targets in the passing game with Garrett Wilson not expected to play but can be avoided in most fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Oct 16 4:33pm ET

New York Jets LB Cam Jones (hip), CB Qwan'tez Stiggers (hip) and WR Garrett Wilson (knee) did not participate in practice Thursday, Oct. 16. WR Josh Reynolds (hip) was limited during practice, while CB Michael Carter II (concussion) and LB Ja'Markis Weston (groin) fully participated in practice.

From TheHuddle

Oct 16 1:20pm ET

ESPN's Rich Cimini reports that New York Jets wide receiver Josh Reynolds (hip) was taking part in the portion of practice that was open to the media on Thursday. It's progress for Reynolds after he was listed as a non-participant in practice on Wednesday. It's good news for the Jets offense, with top wideout Garrett Wilson (knee) expected to miss Week 7 against the Carolina Panthers due to a hyperextended knee that he suffered in Sunday's loss in London to the Denver Broncos. Reynolds still isn't necessarily in the clear to play this weekend, but a return to practice puts him on the right track to be active in Week 7. And with Wilson probably unavailable against Carolina, Reynolds could lead New York in targets as they look for their first win in 2025. Reynolds deserves attention on the waiver wire in deeper leagues with Wilson injured, but expectations must be tempered in one of the worst passing offenses in football.

From RotoBaller

Oct 15 4:53pm ET

New York Jets LB Cam Jones (hip), WR Josh Reynolds (hip), CB Qwan'tez Stiggers (hip) and WR Garrett Wilson (knee) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Oct. 15. CB Michael Carter II (concussion) and LB Ja'Markis Weston (groin) fully participated in practice.

From TheHuddle

Oct 15 4:43pm ET

New York Jets WR Josh Reynolds (hip) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Oct. 15.

Fantasy Spin: Reynolds was able to play in the Week 6 game, so fantasy players will need to check later in the week to see if he will be available for Week 7. He is in line for a bigger role since Garrett Wilson is also dealing with an injury, but most fantasy players can avoid him even if he is active.

From TheHuddle

Oct 15 12:50pm ET

New York Jets head coach Aaron Glenn said that wide receiver Josh Reynolds (hip) will not take the practice field on Wednesday. Top wideout Garrett Wilson (knee) also won't practice after hyperextending his knee in the loss to the Denver Broncos in London on Sunday, and he's expected to miss multiple weeks. It means that Reynolds could operate as New York's top pass-catcher in Week 7 against the Carolina Panthers, although now the 30-year-old's status is up in the air with a DNP coming on Wednesday. If the Jets are without both Wilson and Reynolds this weekend, rookie tight end Mason Taylor could be the Jets' top receiver in what has been an ugly passing game so far through six weeks. Receivers Allen Lazard (personal), Arian Smith and Tyler Johnson would start in three-wide sets for the Jets if both Wilson and Reynolds are sidelined.

From RotoBaller

Oct 14 11:50am ET

New York Jets wide receiver Josh Reynolds is in line to see a significant increase in usage in Week 7, with fellow wide receiver Garrett Wilson (knee) expected to miss time with injury. Wilson hyperextended his knee in Sunday's loss to the Denver Broncos, and although he was in and out of the game, it now appears he'll miss at least the team's next outing. The 25-year-old has been one of the Jets' lone bright spots, and it's unlikely that his shoes are filled by one player alone. With that said, Reynolds is the clear-cut WR2 in terms of snap share. Rookie tight end Mason Taylor and running back Breece Hall figure to absorb some of the vacant targets for as long as Wilson is sidelined, but the veteran should be out there most frequently among his position-mates. He carries some low-end PPR appeal depending on Wilson's status.

From RotoBaller

Oct 12 1:03pm ET

New York Jets WR Josh Reynolds caught three passes for 25 yards in Week 6's game versus the Denver Broncos. He was targeted three times and his longest catch was for 11 yards.

Fantasy Spin: Reynolds' three catches tied a season high but he has not yet eclipsed the 30-yard receiving mark this year. His next game will be in Week 7 versus the Carolina Panthers but he can be avoided in all fantasy formats.
