Top 10 Player Props For NFL Week 13

Sat Nov 30 3:48am ET
Field Level Media

This time of year can be difficult for bettors. It is not unusual for a struggling NFL team to play well for a day and keep it close against a better team. But if taking such a bet does not sound like a good idea, give one (or more) of the hundreds of player props a try.

With three games on Thanksgiving and another on Black Friday, there are fewer games than usual. However, there are still hundreds of NFL player props available. To help you decide which to bet on, here is our top 10 list of player props for Sunday's Week 13 slate.

NFL Week 13: Player Props

Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Cincinnati Bengals

Pat Freiermuth, four-plus receptions at +194 (FanDuel)

Freiermuth had four last week in the loss to the Browns and at least that many in each of the first four games of the season. But against a passing team like the Bengals, the Steelers will likely need every weapon in their arsenal to keep up with the Cincinnati passing game. The Bengals' defense has taken it relatively easy on tight ends this year. So, whether the Steelers are trying to catch up or control the ball, there is a good chance Freiermuth plays a bigger part than usual and makes four-plus receptions.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Carolina Panthers

Bryce Young, O/U 195.5 at -114/-114 (FanDuel)

Those of us who have not paid much attention to the Carolina Panthers this season might be surprised to hear that Bryce Young has been playing pretty well since returning to the starting lineup. He's thrown for 200-plus yards in two of his past four games and is completing 60-plus percent of his passes. Tampa Bay has a solid run defense. Since the Bucs will probably throw early and often, the Panthers will need Young to throw the ball to catch up and/or be competitive. With how well Young is playing right now, we'll take the OVER.

Indianapolis Colts vs. New England Patriots

Drake Maye, O/U 220.5 passing yards at -115/-115 (DraftKings)

Maye threw for more than 220 passing yards against the Rams and Dolphins, two solid defenses, in his past two games. The Colts' defense ranks No. 27 in pass defense and has seen opponents average 34 pass attempts and 231.7 yards per game over the past three. Maye has averaged right around 34 attempts and 230 yards over his past three. Take the OVER.

Los Angeles Rams vs. New Orleans Saints

Kyren Williams, O/U 19.5 rushing attempts at -102/-128 (FanDuel)

O/U 82.5 rushing yards at -113/-113 (FanDuel)

O/U 11.5 receiving yards (DraftKings)

Williams had 16, 15, and 15 carries the past three weeks but had 20-plus in the previous four and has averaged 18.8 per game this season. But he'll be facing a New Orleans Saints team that has seen opponents run the ball 26.7 times per game and 27.8 at home. The Rams tend to run a little less on the road, but they are fighting to remain in the playoff conversation (just like the Saints). To that end, they'll put the ball in the hands of their playmaker rather than spread the touches among multiple backs.

New Orleans has been giving up 134.2 yards per game on the ground but has been especially weak against the run at home (163.2 yards per game). Wiliams has gone for over 82.5 yards in three of the five games in which he had 20-plus carries.

But against a Saints team giving up 160-plus at home, take the OVER.

Williams has not been targeted in the passing game the past two weeks (three total). In the eight games where he had at least one catch, he finished with under 11.5 yards in three. He is not a priority in the passing game. Take the UNDER.

Houston Texans vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

C.J. Stroud, O/U 259.5 passing yards at -115/-115 (BetMGM)

Tank Dell, O/U 51.5 receiving yards at -113/-113 (FanDuel)

O/U 4.5 receptions at +130/-170 (FanDuel)

Nico Collins, O/U longest reception 26.5 yards at -130/+100 (BetMGM)

This should be the ‘get-right' game C.J. Stroud and the Texans have needed for weeks. Jacksonville has overtaken the Ravens as the worst pass defense in the NFL. Stroud has gone over 259.5 passing yards just once in Houston's past seven games.

But opponents are averaging 278.3 yards per game this season and close to 300 over the past three games. If Stroud can't go off against this team with the talent at his disposal ...

Tank Dell has gone over 51.5 yards in both games with Nico Collins back in the lineup. But against a Jacksonville defense that has allowed an average of 13.5 receptions for 183.5 yards, Dell should see a few more targets.

Collins will be the primary receiver, of course, but Dell could still see balls thrown his way and that should be enough for him to go OVER both marks. As for Collins, he has had a reception of 28-plus yards in every game but one. Jacksonville has given up 52 pass plays of 20-plus yards and nine of 40-plus.

Take the OVER.

Waiver Wire Pickups: Week 13

Player Notes
Chris Boswell Dec 1 5:20pm CT
Chris Boswell

Pittsburgh Steelers kicker Chris Boswell connected on three of his four field goal attempts and drilled all five of his extra-point tries in a 44-38 victory over the division-rival Cincinnati Bengals. Boswell was good from 50, 34, and 30 yards out, but unfortunately had a 42-yard attempt blocked by the Bengals in the third quarter. Still, Boswell was excellent for fantasy purposes as Pittsburgh's offense had no trouble moving the football and managed to find the end zone four times. With how dominant Boswell has been this season, fantasy managers need to keep him locked into starting lineups regardless of his opponent. That said, he'll face a difficult Cleveland Browns defense in Week 14.

Tarheeb Still Dec 1 5:20pm CT
Tarheeb Still

The Los Angeles Chargers defense had an excellent game in a Week 13 win over the Atlanta Falcons. The Bolts scored a defensive touchdown on a pick-six, one of four interceptions they recorded in a dominant performance. Tarheeb Still made two picks and scored the touchdown, and Marcus Maye and Derwin James had one pick each. The defense also recorded one sack for an 11-yard loss and allowed just 13 points, all good for a standard league fantasy score of 17. They're likely to land as the top scoring defense in fantasy leagues this week, but they have a harder challenge coming up in Week 14 against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Keon Coleman Dec 1 5:20pm CT
Keon Coleman

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Keon Coleman (wrist) won't play on Sunday night against the 49ers. The wideout has missed the last two games. While he's making progress, the team will play it safe by keeping him off the field for the snowy encounter versus San Francisco. Of course, without Coleman and Dalton Kincaid (knee), Amari Cooper, Mack Hollins, and Khalil Shakir could see more attention from Josh Allen. James Cook may also get a few more touches, with Dawson Knox also in line to log additional snaps.

From RotoBaller

Aaron Jones Dec 1 5:20pm CT
Aaron Jones

Minnesota Vikings running back Aaron Jones rushed five times for 22 yards in Sunday's 23-22 win over the Arizona Cardinals -- adding another six yards and a touchdown on 3-of-4 receiving. He'd also fumble twice, losing one of them. It wasn't the 29-year-old's most memorable performance, as he easily set new lows in rushing and receiving while matching his fewest touch count of the season. Jones also fumbled on the first play of each of the Vikings' first two possessions -- his third straight game with a fumble. However, he'd somewhat save his day with a late five-yard touchdown grab that ultimately sealed the victory for his squad. The eighth-year back will get a chance to redeem himself next Sunday when he lines up against the visiting Atlanta Falcons.

From RotoBaller

Josh Palmer Dec 1 5:10pm CT
Josh Palmer

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Joshua Palmer made just one catch in a Week 13 win over the Atlanta Falcons. Palmer saw just one target thrown his way and turned it into an 11-yard catch. Those 11 yards were good enough for third on the team in receiving yards in a game where the Chargers pass game focused in on rookie Ladd McConkey (knee). Palmer should see at least a few more targets next week against the Kansas City Chiefs, especially if McConkey is forced to miss time.

Justin Jefferson Dec 1 5:10pm CT
Justin Jefferson

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson reeled in 7-of-9 targets for 99 yards in his team's 23-22 win over the Arizona Cardinals in Week 13. The fifth-year wideout was held to just two receptions and 32 yards during the first two frames as Minnesota's drives stalled near Arizona's red zone. He came alive in the second half, though, commanding another seven targets and drawing a 28-yard pass interference penalty. His highlight of the day was a 30-yard catch-and-run early in the fourth quarter that put him over 1,000 yards on the season -- making him just the fourth player in NFL history to amass at least 1,000 receiving yards in each of their first five seasons. Incredible. Jefferson has a favorable matchup on tap in Week 14. He'll get an Atlanta Falcons squad that gave up an average of 38.3 fantasy points per game to the wide receiver position heading into this weekend -- the fifth-most in the NFL.

From RotoBaller

J.J. Russell Dec 1 5:10pm CT
J.J. Russell

Tampa Bay Buccaneers linebacker K.J. Britt (ankle) exited Sunday's game against the Panthers. He is questionable to return. The 25-year-old entered Week 13 ranked third on the team in total tackles. He has also played in 566 of the snaps on the defensive end, one of the highest on the team. With Tampa struggling versus Carolina, the Bucs need him back on the field as soon as possible. But until that happens, Anthony Nelson and J.J. Russell could see more action.

From RotoBaller

Will Dissly Dec 1 5:10pm CT
Will Dissly

Los Angeles Chargers tight end Will Dissly put up a zero in a Week 13 win over the Atlanta Falcons. Dissly was on the injury report earlier in the week with a groin injury, but he practiced in full on Friday and came into the game with no injury designation. Still, he ended up with only one target thrown his way and was unable to make a catch on the play. The shutout was unexpected, as Dissly has been a high-floor tight end option most of the season, but the Chargers passing game went almost exclusively through Ladd McConkey. McConkey made nine catches while no one else on the Chargers made more than two. It was likely an anomaly, and as long as he's healthy, Dissly should return to his solid, reliable production next week against the Kansas City Chiefs.

From RotoBaller

Cameron Dicker Dec 1 5:10pm CT
Cameron Dicker

Los Angeles Chargers kicker Cameron Dicker made all three of his field goal tries in a Week 13 win over the Atlanta Falcons. Dicker did not get a chance to attempt any extra points. His three field goals came from 45, 51, and 34 yards out. It was another solid and predictably consistent performance from one of the NFL's most reliable kickers. He should once again be near the top of the kicker ranks in Week 14 against the Kansas City Chiefs.

From RotoBaller

Kimani Vidal Dec 1 5:00pm CT
Kimani Vidal

Los Angeles Chargers rookie running back Kimani Vidal recorded four carries in a Week 13 win over the Atlanta Falcons. Active for the first time since Week 8, Vidal played alongside nominal starter Gus Edwards with J.K. Dobbins (knee) on IR. Vidal ended up gaining 20 yards with his four carries, most of it on a solid 16-yard run. He wasn't targeted in the passing game. His role could grow as the Chargers will need some different looks out of the backfield next week against the Kansas City Chiefs.

From RotoBaller

Jaylen Warren Dec 1 5:00pm CT
Jaylen Warren

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jaylen Warren turned three carries into nine yards and gained 55 yards on four receptions in a Week 13 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals. Warren, who out-snapped and outproduced Najee Harris last week, took a backseat on Sunday but still was effective as a weapon in the passing game. He has looked explosive when given opportunities, but with Cordarelle Patterson mixing in for six touches this week, it's difficult to predict what Pittsburgh's backfield rotation will look like moving forward. Warren is worth rostering in most formats but should only be viewed as a flex option in PPR leagues next week against the Cleveland Browns.

From RotoBaller

Quentin Johnston Dec 1 5:00pm CT
Quentin Johnston

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Quentin Johnston made two catches in a 17-13 Week 13 win over the Atlanta Falcons. Johnston was second on the team in targets with four, catches with two, and receiving yards with 12. It was the Ladd McConkey show (nine catches on 12 targets for 117 yards), so other Bolts relievers didn't get too many chances even though McConkey was forced to leave the game early with a knee injury. Johnston's role would obviously grow significantly if McConkey is forced to miss time, but he'll still be a risky fantasy option in Week 14 against the Kansas City Chiefs.

From RotoBaller

Justin Herbert Dec 1 4:50pm CT
Justin Herbert

Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert game managed his way to a 17-13 win over the Atlanta Falcons in Week 13. Herbert didn't put up a strong fantasy performance despite a good matchup, but despite the close final score, the Chargers seemed mostly in control throughout the game. Herbert ended up attempting 23 passes, completing 16 of them for 147 yards. He took five sacks, losing 19 yards, but didn't throw any touchdowns or interceptions. On the ground, Herbert turned five "carries" into one total yard. The Bolts will face the Chiefs in Week 14, where Herbert will almost certainly have to do a lot more.

From RotoBaller

Gus Edwards Dec 1 4:50pm CT
Gus Edwards

Los Angeles Chargers running back Gus Edwards carried the ball six times in a Week 13 win over the Atlanta Falcons. He gained 32 yards on the ground, with a long of 12 yards. In the passing game, he was targeted once, making a one-yard catch on the play. As expected, Edwards took the starting role in the backfield with J.K. Dobbins (knee) on IR, but the touches just weren't there, as the Bolts ran the ball only 17 times total, split between five different players. Edwards and the whole Chargers offense will likely need to do a lot more next week when they take on the division-leading Kansas City Chiefs.

From RotoBaller

Trevor Lawrence Dec 1 4:50pm CT
Trevor Lawrence

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence (concussion) exited Sunday's game against the Houston Texans after taking a nasty hit. The signal-caller missed the Jags' previous two contests because of a shoulder injury. Unfortunately, he wasn't on the field long, finishing with only 41 yards and one pick off 4-for-10 passing. Head coach Doug Pederson was understandably disgusted with the play that resulted in his quarterbacks premature departure. He also revealed that Lawrence is now in concussion protocol while being unable to offer more details. At any rate, there's a chance Lawrence could miss time, meaning Mac Jones, who threw two touchdowns in Week 13, could find himself back under center versus the Titans.

From RotoBaller

Sam Darnold Dec 1 4:40pm CT
Sam Darnold

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Sam Darnold completed 21-of-31 passes for 235 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 23-22 victory over the Arizona Cardinals. He rushed for an additional 22 yards on four carries. The 27-year-old had a weird first half this afternoon -- leading his team to two field goals on ten-play drives on two of their three possessions. However, he'd pick it up after that, tossing both of his TDs in the second half, battling back down two scores to earn his fifth straight win. Darnold's touchdowns were from four and five yards out, and he's now gone two consecutive games without a turnover. The USC product will prepare for a juicy Week 14 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons. Atlanta had given up the seventh-most passing yards per contest through 12 weeks (229.9).

From RotoBaller

Pat Freiermuth Dec 1 4:40pm CT
Pat Freiermuth

Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Pat Freiermuth logged six receptions for 68 yards and a touchdown on seven targets in a 44-38 victory against the Cincinnati Bengals. Freiermuth led the team in targets and tied for the team lead in catches on Sunday while making his fourth trip to the end zone of the season. He was largely uninvolved when Russell Wilson first took over at quarterback but has been more of a focal point in recent weeks, specifically near the red zone. The 26-year-old will carry some fantasy value as a streaming option into a Week 14 meeting with the Cleveland Browns.

From RotoBaller

George Pickens Dec 1 4:30pm CT
George Pickens

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver George Pickens hauled in three of his six targets for 74 yards and a touchdown in a Week 13 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals. While he didn't lead the team in targets or receptions, he paced all Steelers in receiving yards in a vintage Russell Wilson performance. The two connected for a 17-yard score early in the first quarter and later on a deep ball for a gain of 36 yards. Pickens has now scored three times since Wilson took over QB1 duties and is establishing himself as a consistent fantasy asset. He'll look to provide better results against the Cleveland Browns next week than he did in Week 12's loss.

From RotoBaller

Kirk Cousins Dec 1 4:30pm CT
Kirk Cousins

Atlanta Falcons quarterback Kirk Cousins had a horrible showing in Sunday's narrow loss to the Chargers, throwing for 245 yards and four interceptions. The veteran hasn't tossed a touchdown in his last three appearances, so many are wondering if a quarterback change could be in the works. However, head coach Raheem Morris didn't entertain that idea while speaking to the media following the loss. "We have no issues with that man," said Morris regarding Cousins. "That guy has gotten us to the point where we are at 6-6, first place in the division, we still have everything in front of us despite what happened today." With Atlanta dropping three-straight games, Cousins will look to get it together in Week 14 versus the Vikings, his former team. With that in mind, anything can change moving ahead, so fantasy managers in multi-QB formats should consider grabbing Michael Penix Jr. off waivers, where available, in case the rookie takes over at some point.

From RotoBaller

Aaron Rodgers Dec 1 4:20pm CT
Aaron Rodgers

New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers threw for 185 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception off 21-for-39 passing in Sunday's five-point loss to the Seahawks. He had one of his better showings of the 2024-25 campaign in the loss to the Colts ahead of the team's bye. Unfortunately, the veteran couldn't keep things going versus Seattle, with the Seahawks defense only allowing the signal-caller to complete just 53.9% of his attempts. Interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich stated entering the contest that the team has no plans of shutting down Rodgers. However, while speaking to the media after Sunday's loss, Ulbrich didn't rule out a potential quarterback change moving ahead. Either way, the clock is ticking, so his time under center (and possibly in New York) could be ending soon if the Jets don't show signs of life in the AFC East clash with the Miami Dolphins in Week 14.
