Brandon Pfaadt pitched six strong innings and Joc Pederson hit a three-run home run against his former club as the visiting Arizona Diamondbacks earned a 7-3 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers on Tuesday.

Christian Walker hit a home run and Ketel Marte had a single to extend his career-best hitting streak to 20 games for the Diamondbacks. Lourdes Gurriel Jr. went 2-for-4 and now has five hits, including a home run, over his past three games.

Pfaadt (2-3) gave up three runs (two earned) on four hits with one walk and seven strikeouts. The righty gave up one run over seven innings against the Cincinnati Reds in his previous outing last Wednesday.

Shohei Ohtani had two hits, two stolen bases, two runs scored and an RBI for the Dodgers. Ohtani's double was Los Angeles' only hit through the first five innings against Pfaadt. Dodgers right-hander Gavin Stone (4-2) gave up four runs on eight hits over six innings.

Los Angeles entered the game having won eight of their past nine regular-season games against Arizona. The Diamondbacks got the best of the Dodgers in last year's National League Division Series, however, with a three-game sweep.

Arizona took a 2-0 lead in the second inning on RBI singles from Eugenio Suarez and Gabriel Moreno.

The Dodgers cut the deficit in half in the fourth inning when Ohtani doubled, stole third base and scored when Moreno, the Diamondbacks' catcher, threw the ball into left field.

Arizona went up 3-1 in the fifth inning on an RBI groundout from Marte. Walker made it 4-1 when he led off the sixth with a home run -- his ninth of the season.

The Dodgers again pulled within a run in the sixth. Miguel Vargas hit a leadoff double and Ohtani drove him in with a single. Ohtani stole second and scored on Will Smith's double.

Pederson's sixth home run of the season came against right-hander Michael Grove in the seventh inning to give the Diamondbacks a 7-3 lead. Pederson hit 130 home runs as a member of the Dodgers and now has three home runs in 38 games against them.
