Naji Marshall Sat Nov 16 6:50pm

Dallas Mavericks forward Naji Marshall (illness) is listed as active and will play on Saturday in the Mavericks' matchup against the San Antonio Spurs. Marshall was originally listed as questionable with an illness but he is feeling good enough to play through it. Marshall has been able to play in every game this season, averaging 8.5 PPG for the Mavericks, mostly off the bench. Fantasy managers with the 26-year-old should get him in their starting lineups. DFS managers may want to be a little more weary about getting Marshall into their lineups as there are likely better options available with more potential for a big game.

Rui Hachimura Sat Nov 16 6:50pm

Los Angeles Lakers forward Rui Hachimura (ankle) has been ruled out for Saturday's contest against the New Orleans Pelicans. Hachimura will miss his third consecutive game due to a sprained right ankle. His next opportunity to play will come on Tuesday against the Utah Jazz. In Hachimura's absence, rookie Dalton Knecht is expected to start for the second straight game. Knecht has been productive in recent outings, scoring 14 and 19 points in the last two contests, while playing over 25 minutes in each. Fantasy managers may want to consider adding Knecht as a streaming option.

Anthony Davis Sat Nov 16 6:40pm

Los Angeles Lakers center Anthony Davis is active for Saturday night's matchup against the New Orleans Pelicans. Davis had been listed as probable earlier in the day so it would appear that his plantar fasciitis isn't bothering him enough to hold him out. AD is a must start tonight in all fantasy formats, averaging 31.1 PPG and 10.9 RPG to start the season. The 31-year-old has succeeded often against his former team and fantasy managers should expect yet another big game from him tonight.

Malcolm Brogdon Sat Nov 16 6:40pm

Washington Wizards guard Malcolm Brogdon (thumb) is available to play in Sunday's game against the Detroit Pistons. After missing the start of the season while recovering from thumb surgery, Brogdon is ready to return to action. The 31-year-old veteran is expected to compete for a role off the bench in the Wizards' backcourt. Brogdon's 2023-24 season was limited to just 39 games with Portland, and he has struggled with injuries over the past few seasons. His role and fit with the Wizards will be something to watch as the season progresses.

Luka Doncic Sat Nov 16 6:40pm

Dallas Mavericks guard Luka Doncic (knee) has been listed as active for Saturday night's game against the San Antonio Spurs. Doncic had been listed as probable throughout the day and is playing as expected. The 25-year-old is dealing with a knee issue but it hasn't hampered his ability to suit up as he hasn't missed a game all season. Fantasy managers in all leagues should ensure Doncic is in their starting lineups as he will get a tasty matchup against the Victor Wembanyama-less Spurs.

Victor Wembanyama Sat Nov 16 6:30pm

San Antonio Spurs forward Victor Wembanyama (knee) has been ruled out for Saturday night's game against the Dallas Mavericks. Wembanyama is dealing with a right knee contusion and will be resting on the second night of a back-to-back for San Antonio. Wembanyama has yet to miss a game this season, averaging 22.7 PPG, 10.5 RPG and 3.7 blocks per game. His presence will certainly be missed by the Spurs on both ends of the court. Zach Collins will be getting the start in Wemby's place. Collins is averaging 5.6 PPG and 3.3 RPG this season. Collins did get 29 starts last season for San Antonio and averaged 14.8 PPG and 5.9 RPG as a starter. Fantasy managers should get Collins into their starting lineup while expecting marginal production. DFS managers willing to take a flyer on a cheap option may want to look at adding Collins and hoping for a big game.

Evan Mobley Sat Nov 16 6:30pm

Cleveland Cavaliers center Evan Mobley (illness) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Charlotte Hornets. After being ruled out on Friday due to the same illness, fantasy managers should keep a close eye on his status for this game. With Donovan Mitchell already sidelined, the Cavaliers will rely heavily on their remaining core, and Mobley's presence in the lineup would be crucial. If cleared to play, Mobley is expected to start, taking his place in the lineup over Georges Niang. This season, Mobley has been strong with averages of 17.8 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks per game.

Nikola Jokic Sat Nov 16 6:20pm

Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic (personal) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Memphis Grizzlies. The 29-year-old superstar, a three-time MVP, is at risk of missing his second consecutive contest due to personal reasons. If Jokic remains sidelined, Dario Saric could make another start, with Zeke Nnaji and DeAndre Jordan also stepping in to help fill the void. Jokic's absence would leave a significant gap for the Nuggets, as his elite playmaking and scoring are vital to the team's success.

    Karl-Anthony Towns Sat Nov 16 6:20pm

New York Knicks center Karl-Anthony Towns (knee) is questionable for Sunday's matchup against the Brooklyn Nets. The 29-year-old All-Star is dealing with a left knee contusion that sidelined him in Friday's win, and it's unclear if he'll be ready to return. Towns has been a key contributor this season, posting impressive averages of 26.5 points and 12.2 rebounds per game. In his last outing, he erupted for 46 points and 10 rebounds against the Chicago Bulls. Should Towns remain out, Jericho Sims could once again see extended minutes in the starting lineup.

Donovan Mitchell Sat Nov 16 6:10pm

Cleveland Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell (rest) will sit out Sunday's matchup against the Charlotte Hornets, marking his first missed game of the season. Mitchell has been a key contributor for the unbeaten Cavaliers, averaging 24.6 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 4.1 assists in 31.1 minutes per contest. Without him, Cleveland will look to Caris LeVert to potentially step into the starting lineup, while Darius Garland is expected to shoulder more of the offensive and playmaking load as the Cavaliers aim to extend their perfect start. Mitchell's next opportunity to return comes Tuesday against Boston.

Devin Vassell Sat Nov 16 5:40pm

San Antonio Spurs guard Devin Vassell (foot) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Dallas Mavericks. The Spurs are managing Vassell's recovery from foot surgery with it being the second night of a back-to-back. The 24-year-old missed the first nine games of the season but has been able to play in the last four, averaging 16.3 PPG off the bench. Fantasy managers shouldn't worry much about his absence, especially considering the Spurs are being proactive for his health. Expect him to return in the Spurs' next game on Tuesday against the Oklahoma City Thunder. In the meantime, expect guys like Malaki Branham and Keldon Johnson to get more volume off the bench tonight.

Lauri Markkanen Sat Nov 16 5:30pm

Dallas Mavericks forward Lauri Markkanen (eye) has been upgraded to active for Saturday night's matchup against the San Antonio Spurs. Markkanen has an eye contusion but will be able to play through it. The 27-year-old has been producing below his norms this season, shooting just 39.8% from the floor compared to his career average of 45.8%. He's been very solid from beyond the arc, though, as he's shooting 41.9% from three. The Kings give up over 41 three point attempts per game, giving Markkanen extra potential to go off from deep tonight. Fantasy managers in all formats need to ensure Markkanen is in their lineups before tipoff.

Jrue Holiday Sat Nov 16 5:20pm

Boston Celtics guard Jrue Holiday (knee) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Toronto Raptors. Holiday is dealing with left knee inflammation that will force him to miss his first game this season. The 34-year-old has averaged 12.8 PPG this season but his biggest impact may be felt defensively for Boston. Expect Payton Pritchard to get the start at point guard for Boston tonight. Pritchard has averaged 16.2 PPG off the bench for Boston and is a must start in all fantasy formats. DFS managers should consider adding Pritchard to their lineups as well.

Victor Wembanyama Sat Nov 16 4:40pm

San Antonio Spurs center Victor Wembanyama (knee) is questionable for Saturday's game in Dallas. The 20-year-old has had an MVP-caliber season, most recently amassing 28 points, 14 rebounds, five assists, and two blocks in Friday's Emirates NBA Cup loss to the Los Angeles Lakers. With Devin Vassell (foot) getting the night off, fantasy managers could see an uptick in statistical contributions from guys like Stephon Castle, Zach Collins, Keldon Johnson, and Julian Champagnie.

Jose Alvarado Sat Nov 16 4:30pm

New Orleans Pelicans guard Jose Alvarado (hamstring) remains out heading into Saturday's meeting with the visiting Los Angeles Lakers. The 26-year-old will now miss his third-straight contest, so his next chance to get on the floor will be on Tuesday in Dallas. The Pelicans' injury report is loaded with names, meaning fantasy managers may see expanded production from Brandon Ingram, Brandon Boston Jr., and Javonte Green.

Trey Murphy III Sat Nov 16 4:20pm

New Orleans Pelicans forward Trey Murphy III (hamstring) won't play in Saturday's matchup versus the Los Angeles Lakers. The 24-year-old recently returned to the lineup after missing the start of the 2024-25 campaign because of a hamstring injury. He's played relatively well in his three appearances, averaging 14.3 points. But with Murphy logging 30 minutes in Friday's win over the Denver Nuggets, he'll get the night off to rest before likely getting back on the floor for Tuesday's game in Dallas. With that in mind, the Pelicans are thin across the board due to various injuries, meaning Brandon Ingram, Brandon Boston Jr., and Javonte Green could finish as New Orleans top performers.

Domantas Sabonis Sat Nov 16 4:10pm

Sacramento Kings forward/center Domantas Sabonis (back) won't play in Saturday's matchup versus the Utah Jazz. The veteran had 23 points, 12 boards, and three blocks in Friday's overtime loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves. However, he's dealing with back tightness, although it's unknown how severe the issue is. With DeMar DeRozan (back) and Malik Monk (ankle) also out, De'Aaron Fox is the favorite to lead the way offensively. Trey Lyles could work his way into the starting lineup and surpass fantasy expectations, so he's worth rostering, even if it's only for one game.

DeMar DeRozan Sat Nov 16 4:10pm

Sacramento Kings forward DeMar DeRozan (back) remains out heading into Saturday's matchup with the Utah Jazz. The veteran also missed Friday's overtime loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves. But considering DeRozan is one of the most durable players in the National Basketball Association, fantasy managers may see him back on the floor as early as Monday's game against the visiting Atlanta Hawks. Domantas Sabonis (back) and Malik Monk (ankle) are also sidelined versus Utah, so De'Aaron Fox should handle things on the offensive end. There's also room for Kevin Huerter, Keegan Murray, and Trey Lyles to smash fantasy expectations.

Walker Kessler Sat Nov 16 11:50am

Utah Jazz center Walker Kessler (hip) remains out for Saturday's contest against the Sacramento Kings. The 23-year-old has averaged only 9.2 points this season, which isn't surprising. However, category managers have at least appreciated his career-high 10.7 rebounds and 2.8 blocks per contest. Hopefully, Kessler's absence won't extend beyond three games. But in the meantime, the red-hot John Collins, averaging 18.1 points during the 2024-25 campaign, is a must-start, especially if Lauri Markkanen (eye), who is questionable, doesn't get on the floor.

Lauri Markkanen Sat Nov 16 11:40am

Utah Jazz forward Lauri Markkanen (eye) is questionable for Saturday's showdown with the Sacramento Kings. The veteran hasn't met expectations during the 2024-25 campaign, averaging 16.3 points, considerably less than last season. He's also already missed three games, so another absence would be frustrating for fantasy managers. With that in mind, if the eye contusion keeps Markkanen out of the lineup, Cody Williams will likely take his spot. However, the 19-year-old has averaged only 4.6 points in seven starts this season, so he's not a trustworthy fantasy performer. Instead, Markkanen's absence should allow guys like Collin Sexton, Jordan Clarkson, Keyonte George, and John Collins see a bump in fantasy production.
