Field Level Media

Jaylen Brown had 33 points, 10 rebounds and five assists to help host Boston deny Detroit a franchise-record 14-game winning streak with a 117-114 victory in an NBA Cup game.

After Anfernee Simons extended Boston's lead to 115-112 by making two free throws with 6.3 seconds on the clock, Cade Cunningham was fouled attempting a 3-pointer with 4.4 seconds remaining, but he missed the third free-throw attempt after he made the first two.

Boston's Payton Pritchard made two free throws with 2.4 seconds left and then the Celtics came up with a steal on Detroit's final possession.

Detroit would have set a franchise record by winning its 14th straight game. The Pistons also won 13 straight games in 1989-1990 and 2003-04. Detroit won the NBA title both seasons.

Derrick White added 27 points and seven rebounds for Boston. Pritchard made four 3-pointers and finished with 16 points. Cunningham scored a game-high 42 points and collected eight rebounds and five assists. He made 14 of 16 foul shots in the loss.

Knicks 129, Hornets 101

Jalen Brunson scored 33 points as part of New York's efficient offense in a romp past host Charlotte.

Josh Hart poured in 22 points, Karl-Anthony Towns and Miles McBride each posted 19 and Mikal Bridges had 18 as the Knicks finished a five-game road stretch with a 3-2 mark.

The result eliminated Charlotte from NBA Cup contention. The Hornets have lost seven games in a row, hurt by Wednesday's 41.2% shooting (35 of 85) from the field and 17 turnovers. Brandon Miller led the Hornets with 18 points.

Heat 106, Bucks 103

Tyler Herro scored 29 points and dished seven assists as Miami survived a late rally to beat visiting Milwaukee.

The Heat improved to 3-1 in NBA Cup East Group C, while the Bucks fell to 2-1. Both are still in contention to advance to the knockout rounds.

Bam Adebayo paired 17 points and 11 rebounds in Miami's sixth consecutive win. Ryan Rollins posted 26 points and Myles Turner had 24 as Milwaukee, without Giannis Antetokounmpo for a fourth successive game due to a left groin strain, took its sixth straight loss.

Thunder 113, Timberwolves 105

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 40 points to lead Oklahoma City to a home win over Minnesota in an NBA Cup West Group A game.

The Thunder have won 10 consecutive games and 18 of their first 19, the best 19-game start in the league since Golden State began 24-0 in 2015-16.

Anthony Edwards scored 14 of his team-high 31 points in the fourth quarter for the Timberwolves, who have lost three consecutive games. At 2-2, Minnesota is eliminated from NBA Cup contention.

Raptors 97, Pacers 95

Brandon Ingram hit a game-winning pullup jumper in the final second as Toronto defeated visiting Indiana in an NBA Cup game for their ninth straight win.

Ingram finished with 26 points and Scottie Barnes added 24 points and 10 rebounds as the Raptors finished first in the East Group A at 4-0. Immanuel Quickley scored 15 points and dished six assists for Toronto, and Ja'Kobe Walter contributed 13 points.

T.J. McConnell scored 16 points for the Pacers, who are 0-3 in the NBA Cup and have dropped three straight overall. Bennedict Mathurin added 15 points and missed a last-second 3-point attempt to end the game.

Grizzlies 133, Pelicans 128 (OT)

Jaren Jackson Jr. scored 27 points, Jaylen Wells added a season-high 25 and Zach Edey contributed 21 points and 15 rebounds as Memphis recorded an overtime win at New Orleans.

Memphis' Vince Williams Jr., forced into playing point guard because of multiple injuries at the position, had a career-best 17 assists. The Grizzlies earned their third victory in four games.

Jose Alvarado paced the Pelicans with a season-high 24 points. Saddiq Bey added 18 points and 10 boards.

Spurs 115, Trail Blazers 102

De'Aaron Fox scored 14 of his season-high 37 points in the fourth quarter and added eight assists as visiting San Antonio beat Portland.

Devin Vassell scored a season-best-tying 23 points for the Spurs, who improved to 4-1 during the absence of star big man Victor Wembanyama (calf). Deni Avdija scored a season-high 37 points to go with eight assists and six rebounds for the Trail Blazers.

The Spurs and the Nuggets, both 2-1 in West Group C play, will face off Friday in Denver with an automatic spot in the knockout round on the line. The Trail Blazers (2-2) were eliminated from the NBA Cup.

Suns 112, Kings 100

Mark Williams recorded 21 points and tied his season high with 16 rebounds, Collin Gillespie also scored 21 points and visiting Phoenix defeated Sacramento in an NBA Cup West Group A contest.

Phoenix never trailed en route to its fourth win in five games and its second in two meetings with the Kings this season. Sacramento lost for the ninth time in 11 games. The Suns and Thunder, both 3-0 in NBA Cup action, will meet on Friday at Oklahoma City with winner capturing the group.

The Kings, 0-3 in NBA Cup play, were eliminated from contention. Sacramento was led by Keegan Murray and Russell Westbrook, who each scored 19 points.

Rockets 104, Warriors 100

Reed Sheppard capped a career-best 31-point performance by sinking a key hoop with 2:58 remaining, Alperen Sengun added another in the final minute and Houston outlasted Golden State in an NBA Cup game at San Francisco.

In the season's first rematch of Golden State's first-round playoff upset of second-seeded Houston last April, Amen Thompson chipped in with 10 points and 14 rebounds for the Rockets, who finished Cup play with a 2-2 record in West Group C.

Houston will not advance to the Western semifinals of the Cup, nor will the Warriors, who fell for the third time in four Cup games and saw Stephen Curry limp to the locker room in the final seconds, favoring his left leg. The Warriors were led by Jimmy Butler III with 21 points.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Thu Nov 27 1:00am

Thunder's G Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 40 points on 12-of-19 shooting in a 113-105 win over the Timberwolves on Wednesday, Nov. 26.

Cade Cunningham Thu Nov 27 1:00am

Detroit Pistons' G Cade Cunningham scored 42 points on 12-of-26 shooting in a 114-117 loss to Boston on Wednesday, Nov. 26.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Wed Nov 26 6:20pm

Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (illness) is cleared to suit up for Wednesday's meeting with Minnesota. He was listed as questionable because of an illness. However, after going through pre-game warmups, he feels well enough to play. It's unknown how sick he is, so there's a chance he may sit more than usual. Still, SGA should be featured in all fantasy lineups.

Zach Edey Wed Nov 26 6:20pm

Memphis Grizzlies center Zach Edey (illness) will play on Wednesday versus the New Orleans Pelicans. He logged only six minutes in Monday's loss to the Denver Nuggets because of a migraine headache and was listed as questionable heading into this one. Luckily, the 23-year-old will be on the floor. Edey is still working his way back after sitting out to begin the 2025 campaign, averaging 10.2 points, 7.6 points, 1.6 blocks, and 1.0 steals. However, he's still worth a start in nearly all formats.

Nikola Jovic Wed Nov 26 6:10pm

Miami Heat forwardNikola Jovic(hip) will play against the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday. Jovic has missed four straight games due to a hip impingement. The 22-year-old was averaging 21.4 minutes per contest across 14 games. However, he will likely see fewer minutes than he did before his setback, as Kel'el WareandBam Adebayohave formed a productive frontcourt duo in his absence.

Norman Powell Wed Nov 26 5:50pm

Miami Heat guard/forwardNorman Powell(groin) will play against the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday. A groin issue kept Powell out of action on Monday night against the Dallas Mavericks. Andrew Wiggins (hip) is also set to return after a three-game absence. Powell's move to Miami has worked out well for him, as the former Clipper is averaging a career-high 25.4 points, 3.9 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 1.3 steals. However, it will be interesting to see how well Powell meshes withTyler Herro, who made his season debut on Monday against Dallas, scoring 24 points in 29 minutes.

Andrew Wiggins Wed Nov 26 5:40pm

Miami Heat forwardAndrew Wiggins(hip) is available to suit up for Wednesday's matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks. He has missed three games due to a left hip flexor strain but has been cleared to play. Norman Powell(groin) will also return to the lineup for this evening's tilt. Wiggins is averaging 16.7 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 1.1 steals in 33.1 minutes per contest this season and could provide plenty of fantasy production in his return.

Giannis Antetokounmpo Wed Nov 26 5:40pm

Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo (adductor) won't play on Wednesday against Miami. He's missed the last three games with a left adductor strain. While it appeared there was a chance the multi-time All-Star would be back for this one, fantasy managers will need to wait a little longer. His next chance to suit up will be on Friday versus the New York Knicks at MSG. In the meantime, Ryan Rollins, Kyle Kuzma, and Bobby Portis are the favorites to lead the way offensively.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Wed Nov 26 5:30pm

Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (illness) is currently questionable for Wednesday's meeting with Minnesota. Fantasy managers should already be planning for his absence. However, it's not a lock he'll be sidelined, with SGH planning to warm up to see how he feels. If Gilgeous-Alexander isn't available, it will be all hands on deck, although Chet Holmgren, Cason Wallace, and Ajay Mitchell may benefit the most offensively.

Dru Smith Wed Nov 26 5:10pm

Miami Heat shooting guardDru Smith(hip) is set to suit up against the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday. Smith has been dealing with a left hip contusion, but he has yet to miss a game this season. The 27-year-old is averaging 6.3 points, 3.0 assists, 2.6 rebounds and 1.5 steals in 16.8 minutes across 18 games. He will continue to have a limited role in the Heat's rotation and will likely not factor in fantasy basketball this evening.

Pat Connaughton Wed Nov 26 4:20pm

Charlotte Hornets guard/forwardPat Connaughton (calf) is unavailable for Wednesday's matchup with the New York Knicks. Connaughton picked up a right calf strain against the Clippers on Sunday and will miss his second straight game this evening in Charlotte. His next chance to get back on the floor will come on Friday versus the Bulls. The 32-year-old is averaging only 4.3 points across 9.3 minutes per contest and he rarely makes much of an impact in fantasy basketball.

Jonathan Kuminga Wed Nov 26 3:50pm

Dalton Johnson of NBC Sports Bay Areareports that Golden State Warriors forwardJonathan Kuminga(knee) has been assigned to the G League's Santa Cruz Warriors on Wednesday. Currently, there isn't a timetable on when the 23-year-old will be back with the Warriors. He will likely participate in scrimmages, but will not see any live action with Santa Cruz. Before sustaining a knee injury, Kuminga was averaging 13.8 points, 6.6 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 27.7 minutes per contest across 13 appearances.

Landry Shamet Wed Nov 26 3:30pm

According to Shams Charania of ESPN, New York Knicks guard/forwardLandry Shamet (shoulder) will be out at least four weeks due to a right shoulder sprain. Before the setback, the 28-year-old secured his spot as a starter and was shooting 42.2 percent from beyond the arc. He also averaged 9.2 points with 1.6 rebounds and 1.6 assists over his last five outings. With Shamet out, fantasy managers could look to Miles McBrideandJordan Clarkson as possible streaming options.

Steven Adams Wed Nov 26 8:40am

Houston Rockets center Steven Adams (ankle) will miss Wednesday's matchup against Golden State. His absence does not guarantee a major role for Clint Capela, who has been a fringe option and could still get squeezed if Houston leans into small-ball looks. Capela has averaged 2.0 points and 3.2 rebounds across his last five appearances, but Houston's thin frontcourt with Kevin Durant (personal reasons), Tari Eason (oblique), and Dorian Finney-Smith (ankle) all out could lead to a slight bump in minutes. He remains a deeper-league rebounding flyer rather than a standard-league option.

Dennis Schroder Wed Nov 26 8:10am

Sacramento Kings guard Dennis Schroder (hip) is questionable for Wednesday's matchup against Phoenix after appearing in every game so far. The veteran has recently slid into more of a backup role behind Russell Westbrook but is still providing 14.6 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 6.0 assists per game on 43.1 percent shooting over his last five outings. If he's ruled out, Westbrook takes on more creation duties, and Malik Monk, Nique Clifford, and Keon Ellis each gain a slight uptick in minutes and touches.

Grayson Allen Wed Nov 26 7:50am

Phoenix Suns guard/forward Grayson Allen (quadriceps) has been ruled out for Wednesday's matchup against Sacramento, marking his sixth straight absence. His continued absence keeps Collin Gillespie and Jordan Goodwin in elevated roles. Gillespie has averaged 14.6 points, 5.0 assists, and 1.4 steals over his last five games, highlighted by 16 points and three steals in 29 minutes against Houston. Goodwin has also been productive, contributing 11.6 points and 1.8 steals on 53.0 percent shooting in that same span. Both remain viable streamers while Allen is sidelined.

Zach Edey Wed Nov 26 7:20am

Memphis Grizzlies center Zach Edey (head) is questionable for Wednesday's matchup against New Orleans after exiting Monday's loss in the first quarter and not returning. His potential absence positions Jock Landale and Santi Aldama for increased roles, and both have shown they can produce when given minutes. Landale is coming off a 26-point, 10-rebound effort in 31 minutes, while Aldama contributed 12 points, six rebounds, six assists, two steals, and two blocks in the same game as Memphis sorted through its frontcourt rotation.

Neemias Queta Wed Nov 26 7:00am

Boston Celtics forward/center Neemias Queta (ankle) is expected to miss Wednesday's matchup with Detroit, giving Boston's reserve bigs another chance to carve out minutes. Luka Garza has been the more productive option lately, averaging 12.6 points on 75.0 percent shooting across his last five outings, while Chris Boucher remains in the rotation despite minimal offensive output. Both are fringe fantasy options for now, and it remains unclear which one coach Joe Mazzulla will trust most with Queta sidelined.

Norman Powell Wed Nov 26 6:20am

Miami Heat guard/forward Norman Powell (groin) is listed as probable for Wednesday's clash against the Milwaukee Bucks, indicating that he is on track to return to the lineup. A groin issue kept Powell off the floor on Monday night against the Dallas Mavericks. Powell's move to Miami has worked out superbly for him, as the 32-year-old is averaging a career-high 25.4 points, 3.9 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 1.3 steals. However, it remains to be seen how well Powell meshes with Tyler Herro, who made his season debut against Dallas, scoring 24 points in 29 minutes.
