The New York Knicks have agreed to a new deal with two-way center Ariel Hukporti, ESPN reported Monday.

The team is converting the rookie to a standard two-way contract that includes a team option in 2025-26, per the report.

Hukporti, 22, has played a total of 29 minutes in four games this season, collecting four blocks and seven rebounds.

The 7-footer from Germany was drafted by the Dallas Mavericks in the second round (58th overall) in 2024 and traded to the Knicks on draft night.

Player Notes
D'Angelo Russell Tue Nov 5 9:30pm

Los Angeles Lakers guard D'Angelo Russell (foot) is probable heading into Wednesday's game against the Grizzlies. The veteran has appeared on the injury report of late for various reasons. However, he hasn't missed a game so far during the 2024-;25 campaign. Unfortunately, Russell has struggled this season, averaging 12.0 points and 30.8% shooting from behind the arc. While he has an excellent chance of breaking out of his funk, fantasy managers should consider keeping him on the bench, especially category managers who have been negatively impacted by his three-point percentage.

Austin Reaves Tue Nov 5 9:20pm

Los Angeles Lakers guard Austin Reaves (ankle) is anticipated to play on Wednesday versus the Grizzlies. The ankle injury isn't anything new, so fantasy managers should expect to see him on the floor. The 26-year-old has played well this season, averaging 17.3 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.9 assists, and 1.4 steals. Of course, assuming Reaves is available, he's a viable fantasy option in any format. But his potential could increase if Anthony Davis (foot) isn't available.

Anthony Davis Tue Nov 5 8:00pm

Los Angeles Lakers center Anthony Davis (foot) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Memphis Grizzlies. AD has been dealing with a foot injury since the summer. However, he reinjured it in Monday's loss to the Detroit Pistons. Davis wants to play every game this season. But there's a chance he may not be out there versus the Grizzlies. If the veteran can't suit up, Jaxson Hayes would likely slide into his spot in the rotation and be worth adding to fantasy lineups, even if it's for one day.

Trae Young Tue Nov 5 7:50pm

Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young (rib) is expected to play on Wednesday versus the visiting Knicks. The 26-year-old logged only 23 minutes in Monday's loss to the Boston Celtics, exiting the contest prematurely due to a rib injury. Fortunately, it looks like he'll be good to go. Young has averaged 23.9 points, 11.0 assists, and 1.3 steals this season. However, he's logged 4.9 turnovers per game and shot a career-low 30.7% from behind the arc. With that said, if Young ends up getting ruled out, Keaton Wallace, who had six points, four rebounds, two steals, and two blocks on Monday, could be worth a start for those in need of a streaming option.

Caris LeVert Tue Nov 5 7:50pm

Cleveland Cavaliers guard Caris LeVert (knee) is questionable for Wednesday's matchup with the Pelicans. The veteran has missed the last two games because of right knee soreness. But with Max Strus (ankle) and Dean Wade (illness) sidelined, LeVert could see some meaningful minutes if he plays. But if he isn't ready to return, Isaac Okoro and Sam Merrill should continue to benefit, with the latter amassing 12 points, five boards, and two steals in 27 minutes in Monday's two-point win over the Bucks.

Jamal Murray Tue Nov 5 7:40pm

Denver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray (concussion) won't play on Wednesday versus OKC. Murray suffered a concussion during a recent meeting with the Minnesota Timberwolves. As a result, he's been sidelined for the Nuggets' previous two contests. It's not an ideal scenario for Denver, with the team also expected to be without Aaron Gordon (calf) for a few weeks. Of course, Nikola Jokic will do all he can to pick up the slack on the offensive end. But Russell Westbrook, averaging 13.0 points, 6.5 assists, and 3.0 steals in two starts this season, should remain in all fantasy lineups.

Immanuel Quickley Tue Nov 5 7:40pm

Toronto Raptors guard Immanuel Quickley (pelvis) is doubtful for Wednesday's contest against the Sacramento Kings. The former Knick has been sidelined since the opener because of a pelvic contusion. While there were reports he was nearing a return, that's unlikely to happen on Wednesday, barring a miracle. With that in mind, Davion Mitchell, averaging 8.9 points, 6.9 assists, and 1.0 steals in seven starts this season, is worth streaming versus his former club, assuming Quickley remains on the shelf. Of course, RJ Barrett and Gradey Dick should continue to lead the way offensively, considering Scottie Barnes (eye) is still on the shelf.

Jaylen Brown Tue Nov 5 7:20pm

Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown (hip) won't play in Wednesday's game against the Golden State Warriors. The 28-year-old last played on Friday in the win over the Charlotte Hornets. Unfortunately, he's been sidelined since with a hip flexor strain. It doesn't appear as if the injury is serious, so fantasy managers should stay optimistic. Without question, Jayson Tatum, Derrick White, and Jrue Holiday should benefit without Brown in the lineup. However, Neemias Queta, who had 10 points, seven boards, one block, and one steal as a starter in Monday's win over the Hawks, is worth streaming.

PJ Washington Tue Nov 5 7:20pm

Dallas Mavericks forward P.J. Washington (knee) won't play on Wednesday versus the Chicago Bulls. The 26-year-old logged 35 minutes in Monday's loss to the Pacers. Unfortunately, he was observed favoring his right leg late in the contest. There's a chance his absence may extend beyond Wednesday night. If that's the case, it would be a tough blow for the Mavericks. With Dereck Lively II (shoulder) questionable and Maxi Kleber (hamstring) out, Naji Marshall, who had 20 points in 34 minutes versus Indiana, could be in line for more action.

Zion Williamson Tue Nov 5 6:00pm

New Orleans Pelicans forward Zion Williamson (thigh) is currently listed as questionable ahead of Wednesday's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Williamson has missed the last two games due to right thigh soreness. The oft-injured big man has been solid when healthy, but keeping him on the court has been a struggle. Jeremiah Robinson-Earl finished with 12 points and five rebounds across 33 minutes of action on Monday. He's worth a look as a low-end streaming option if Williamson misses another game.

Jeremy Sochan Tue Nov 5 5:50pm

San Antonio Spurs forward Jeremy Sochan (thumb) is set to undergo surgery after suffering an injury during Monday's loss to the Los Angeles Clippers. Sochan suffered a fractured left thumb during the first half of Monday's contest. The Spurs haven't given a timetable for his return, but he's expected to miss an extended period of time after having surgery. Stephon Castle and Julian Champagnie figure to both see extended run with Sochan sidelined. Champagnie finished with 21 points and five rebounds over 38 minutes on Monday. Both are possible streaming options with the Spurs banged up right now. Keldon Johnson could also see more run, but is already playing nearly 30 minutes per game.

Wendell Carter Jr. Tue Nov 5 5:30pm

Orlando Magic center Wendell Carter Jr. (foot) will remain on the sideline for Wednesday's game against the Indiana Pacers. This marks the second game in a row that Carter will miss due to left foot plantar fasciitis. Unfortunately, Carter is dealing with an issue that really only heals from getting rest. That makes his timetable to return hard to predict right now. Goga Bitadze finished with 11 points and nine rebounds across 27 minutes of action during Monday's game. He's worth a look as a streaming option while Carter is out. Also, Moritz Wagner is worth a look after putting up nine points and seven rebounds in 21 minutes with the second unit on Monday.

Nick Richards Tue Nov 5 5:20pm

Charlotte Hornets center Nick Richards (rib) has been ruled out ahead of Wednesday's game against the Detroit Pistons. This comes as little surprise after Richards suffered a rib cartilage fracture during last Friday's game against the Boston Celtics. The team plans to hold out Richards until after the upcoming road trip. That means, Richards won't be re-evaluated until November 18 at the earliest. Grant Williams and Taj Gibson figure to see increased playing time. Williams finished with five points, three rebounds, and two steals across 21 minutes on Monday. Gibson started that game, but didn't offer much more value during his 16 minutes of playing time. Fantasy managers are probably only going to get low-end value out of these two.

Zach LaVine Tue Nov 5 5:10pm

Chicago Bulls guard Zach LaVine (groin) is listed as questionable ahead of Wednesday's game against the Dallas Mavericks. This news comes after LaVine sat out of Monday's loss to the Utah Jazz due to the same issue. Ayo Dosunmu moved into the starting five with LaVine sidelined on Monday. He finished with 25 points, five assists, and five rebounds over 34 minutes of action. He'll be a fairly solid streaming choice if LaVine misses another game.

Aaron Gordon Tue Nov 5 4:40pm

Denver Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon (calf) was only able to play a few minutes before exiting Monday's game due to injury. At first, the Nuggets didn't believe it was a serious issue and considered him day-to-day. That is not the case as Gordon has suffered a right calf strain and will miss multiple weeks of action. This is a tough break as Gordon who has been excellent through the first handful of games. The absence of Gordon means that Peyton Watson should see more involvement in the rotation. He finished with 16 points, two steals, and two blocks over 30 minutes of action on Monday. He'll be a decent streaming choice until Gordon gets back on the court.

Joel Embiid Tue Nov 5 4:30pm

Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid has been suspended for three games following an altercation with a columnist. Embiid shoved the reporter for comments about Embiid's deceased brother and young son. The two of them were separated and no one was hurt. It's worth noting that Embiid won't begin his suspension until he's medically cleared to play. Embiid has yet to play this season due to left knee injury management. The big man has been criticized for missing time without a legitimate injury or health issue. Embiid appears to be close to getting back on the court, but now faces another obstacle with this suspension. Andre Drummond will continue seeing increased playing time until Embiid is ready to play.

Aaron Nesmith Tue Nov 5 9:40am

Indiana Pacers forward Aaron Nesmith (ankle) will likely miss multiple games. He was unavailable for Monday's clash with the Mavericks, and Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle said that Nesmith is in a walking boot. The 25-year-old sprained his left ankle last Friday in a game against New Orleans. Bennedict Mathurin started in Nesmith's absence on Monday, recording 16 points, seven rebounds, three assists, and one steal. Obi Toppin and Ben Sheppard figure to get more action as well until Nesmith returns. The former has already started to see more time on the floor due to Isaiah Jackson's (Achilles) injury.

Aaron Gordon Tue Nov 5 9:20am

Denver Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon (calf) is not dealing with a long-term injury. Gordon played only four minutes in Monday's matchup against Toronto, exiting the action with a calf strain. He already carried a questionable tag ahead of the game due to a calf problem, and he has also been battling a knee injury. According to Nuggets head coach Michael Malone, Gordon is dealing with "bumps and bruises," and he doesn't think the 29-year-old forward will be a long-term absentee. With Gordon out, Peyton Watson surpassed the 30-minute mark for the first time this season on Monday. He could play a bigger role again in Wednesday's matchup against Oklahoma City, assuming Gordon is not in the lineup.

Devin Vassell Tue Nov 5 9:20am

San Antonio Spurs guard/forward Devin Vassell (foot) is not expected to join the team for Wednesday's visit to Houston. Interim head coach Mitch Johnson has said he doesn't believe Vassell will be ready for Wednesday's game. However, according to Johnson, Vassell is "ramping up" and could be back "soon." Vassell is recovering from foot surgery and hasn't yet featured for the Spurs this season. Julian Champagnie is filling in for him in the starting lineup. He will lose a big chunk of fantasy value when Vassell returns.

Brandin Podziemski Tue Nov 5 9:10am

Golden State Warriors shooting guard Brandin Podziemski played only 13 minutes against Washington on Monday due to an illness. Landing back on the bench following Stephen Curry's return, Podziemski had a quiet outing, recording two points, four rebounds, one assist, and one steal. Podziemski will have one day to recover before the Warriors face off against the Celtics on Wednesday. If he's unavailable, we could see Moses Moody more on the floor. Moody has impressed with his shooting early in the campaign, nailing over 48 percent of his triples to average 10.6 points.
