Seattle Seahawks wide receivers DK Metcalf (shoulder) and Tyler Lockett (knee) were both listed as DNPs at Wednesday's practice. The Seahawks still have two days of practice left this week, but fantasy managers should keep their eyes open for Metcalf's and Lockett's status over the next couple of days as the Week 13 contest against the New York Jets on Sunday approaches. Metcalf missed two game with an MCL sprain recently but returned the last two weeks to catch 11 of 14 targets for 129 yards and no touchdowns. Second-year wideout Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who is having a breakout season, would be the biggest beneficiary in Seattle's offense if one or both of Metcalf and/or Lockett are inactive this weekend. Metcalf is a must-start in fantasy anytime he's healthy, while Lockett has become the clear No. 3 in Seattle in 2024 and is a boom/bust WR4/flex option these days.
From RotoBaller
Seattle Seahawks tight end Noah Fant (groin) was listed as a full participant in the first practice of Week 13 on Wednesday. Fant also practiced in full last Friday but was ultimately held out of the Week 12 win over the division-rival Arizona Cardinals. He's missed the last three games due to a groin injury that he suffered the day before Halloween, but two straight full practices suggests that he'll be able to return this weekend as the team faces the New York Jets on the road on Sunday. The 27-year-old figures to return to TE1 duties for the Seahawks when he's back, pushing rookie AJ Barner back to a backup role. Before his injury, Fant had caught 27 of his 32 targets for only 285 yards and no touchdowns in eight games. That hasn't made him very attractive in fantasy, but Fant could immediately jump into a bigger role this Sunday if receivers DK Metcalf (shoulder) and Tyler Lockett (knee) cannot play.
From RotoBaller
The Detroit Lions defense/special teams enters a favorable matchup against the Chicago Bears in Week 13. Over the past six weeks, the Lions rank third in opponent scoring rate, sixth in turnover rate, and 14th in explosive plays allowed. Detroit ranks second in opponent points per game (16.6) and has allowed just six points to each of their opponents over the last two weeks. The Bears offense, led by Caleb Williams, has given up the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing defenses over the last four weeks, providing a prime opportunity for Detroit. The Lions also rank sixth in total takeaways and have allowed the 10th-fewest total yards this season. Fantasy managers should consider the Lions D/ST a solid starting option for Week 13.
From RotoBaller
Dallas Cowboys kicker Brandon Aubrey had a down game by his standards in Week 12 in Washington. While he scored 10 fantasy points, he missed two field goals. His two makes from 40-plus yards saved his fantasy day. Aubrey has now missed three field goals in the last two weeks. His only other miss occurred in Week 4. The Cowboys will host the Giants on Thanksgiving, and Aubrey should have plenty of chances to make kicks throughout this game. The Giants' defense is not a scary matchup for the Cowboys. Additionally, the Cowboys under quarterback Cooper Rush (knee) seem to have a hard time getting the ball into the end zone after reaching field goal range. As such, the kicks should flow for Aubrey and he should continue to be a top-five kicker for your fantasy squad. Start him with confidence in Week 13.
From RotoBaller
Dallas Cowboys tight end Luke Schoonmaker is in line to continue his expanded role in Week 13 with Jake Ferguson (concussion) slated to miss another game. Schoonmaker has certainly caught the attention of quarterback Cooper Rush (knee) over the last two weeks. He has caught nine of 14 targets for 111 yards and a touchdown over that span. The Cowboys will host the New York Giants on Thanksgiving in Week 13. The Giants are No. 2 against opposing tight ends in fantasy football in 2024. They just held the red-hot Cade Otton to one reception in Week 12. Schoonmaker's production could be tapped this week. However, Schoonmaker is an important target in an offense devoid of reliable playmakers outside of wide receiver CeeDee Lamb (back/foot). As such, Schoonmaker may be able to produce based on volume alone. Given the volatility at tight end in fantasy football, you could do a lot worse than Schoonmaker this week. He should be in lineups, especially those missing Ferguson.
From RotoBaller
Dallas Cowboys quarterback Cooper Rush (knee) is off the injury report and ready to go in Week 13. Rush has played well over his last two games. He has averaged 300.5 yards per game and thrown three touchdowns over that span. He has scored at least 17.36 fantasy points in both games. While he is not going to win you your week with those numbers, he is a solid QB2. With no teams on a bye in Week 13 and no major quarterback injuries at the moment, Rush should not be started in one-quarterback leagues. However, he is a high-end No. 2 option in two-quarterback leagues. The Cowboys host the New York Giants on Thanksgiving in Week 13. The Giants are No. 24 against quarterbacks in fantasy. The Cowboys offense has had trouble scoring points under Rush, but this feels like a game in which Rush could push for multiple touchdown passes and limit his turnovers. Most importantly, Rush should support the production of wide receiver CeeDee Lamb and tight end Luke Schoonmaker. Both players should see plenty of target volume and should not have too difficult of a time in Week 13.
From RotoBaller
Dallas Cowboys running back Rico Dowdle will look to deliver flex value in fantasy in Week 13. The Cowboys will host the New York Giants in a Thanksgiving Day tilt. The Giants have been much better against the pass than the run in 2024 and the Cowboys may look to exploit that weakness. Dowdle has come alive as the Cowboys' feature back in recent weeks. His production is not anything spectacular, but he is certainly worthy of a flex spot if you are dealing with injuries. Dowdle has scored double-digit PPR fantasy points in five of his seven games played. He is very involved in the passing game which will help offset any lack of rushing output in Dallas' middling offense. Dowdle also has a chance to find the end zone for the first time on the ground this season. With New York's offense not faring much better than Dallas' over the last few weeks, the Cowboys should be in a neutral to positive game script all day. You do not need to force Dowdle into your lineup this week, but he should provide a solid fantasy floor as he has for most of the season since he took over as the starting running back.
From RotoBaller
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb (back/foot) is off the injury report and ready to go for Thanksgiving Day. He has received 12 targets in each of his last two games. His reception baseline is keeping him afloat in fantasy football because he has not scored a touchdown since Week 8. With quarterback Cooper Rush behind center in place of Dak Prescott (hamstring), Lamb has yet to have a signature boom game. The Giants are the No. 14 defense against opposing wide receivers in fantasy this season. This is a neutral matchup for Lamb, but his target volume alone is going to ensure that he remains at least a high-end WR2. Although Rush has played well over the last two weeks, he does not seem able to lead the Cowboys' offense to high point totals. That will continue to limit Lamb's fantasy output. This game could be a gritty intra-divisional matchup. The Giants are in turmoil as a team, but the Cowboys have severely underperformed this season. Even so, there is no benching Lamb in this matchup. Given that it is a high-profile Thanksgiving game, Lamb could go off at any minute. Fire him up with confidence this week.
From RotoBaller
Baltimore Ravens tight end Charlie Kolar (forearm) is expected to miss at least four weeks after breaking his arm on Monday night. Kolar has been an important depth piece in a talented Ravens tight end room. He has recorded nine receptions for 131 yards and a touchdown for the Ravens this season while playing behind Isaiah Likely and Mark Andrews. This injury puts more pressure on Likely and Andrews as the team's top two tight ends. The Ravens signed tight end Scotty Washington to their practice squad in a depth move. Kolar's injury does not have a lot of fantasy implications. However, he is one less target for Likely and Andrews to compete within this offense.
From RotoBaller
Los Angeles Chargers tight end Will Dissly (knee) did not practice on Wednesday with a knee injury. The tight end did not show any sign of this injury on Monday evening as he was deployed as the clear TE1 in the Los Angeles offense. In this game, Dissly brought in all four of his targets for 47 yards. Since Week 7, Dissly has begun to see a drastic increase in targets as he has averaged 6.2 per game during this span which is an increase compared to the 3.0 he saw per game during the first six games of the season. Over his past three games, Dissly has caught at least four passes in each game and averaged 11.6 PPR points per game. If Dissly can suit up this weekend, fantasy managers should view him as a low-end TE1 facing the Atlanta Falcons.
From RotoBaller
David Montgomery will aim to contribute as a key part of Detroit's backfield in a Week 13 divisional clash against the Chicago Bears. During the Lions' 24-6 victory over Indianapolis, Montgomery managed eight carries for 37 yards and a touchdown before exiting in the third quarter with a shoulder injury. While he intends to play through the issue, his workload may be reduced in favor of Jahmyr Gibbs, who impressed with 21 carries for 90 yards and two touchdowns. The Bears' defense has been more vulnerable against the run, allowing the eighth-most rushing yards and the tenth-most rushing touchdowns to running backs this season. If Montgomery suits up, his red zone usage and touchdown potential make him a viable RB2 option, even if his snap count is limited.
From RotoBaller
Detroit Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams aims to build on his recent performance as the Lions host the Chicago Bears in Week 13. In the Lions' 24-6 victory over the Indianapolis Colts, Williams led the team with 64 receiving yards on five catches, surpassing Amon-Ra St. Brown's six receptions for 62 yards. Notably, Williams has recorded a reception of 20 or more yards in eight of nine games this season, highlighting his big-play capability. The Bears' defense has been susceptible to deep passes, allowing the fifth-most receptions of 40+ yards per game. This vulnerability aligns well with Williams' skill set, making him a potential breakout candidate in this matchup. Fantasy managers should consider Williams a high-upside flex option for Week 13.
From RotoBaller
Detroit Lions kicker Jake Bates will aim to stay consistent as the Lions take on the Chicago Bears in Week 13. Bates connected on his lone field-goal attempt, a booming 56-yarder, and converted all three of his extra points in the Lions' 24-6 victory over Indianapolis. He continues to deliver, maintaining a perfect 16-for-16 record on field goals this season and leading the league with 40 successful PATs, a testament to Detroit's dynamic offense. Bates has scored eight or more fantasy points in eight of 11 games this year, proving to be one of the most dependable fantasy kickers. With the Lions once again boasting the highest projected team total this week, Bates remains a safe option for fantasy managers looking to capitalize on his steady production.
From RotoBaller
Detroit Lions tight end Sam LaPorta will look to step up as the Lions host the Chicago Bears in Week 13. In his first game back from a shoulder injury, LaPorta was targeted six timesthird most on the teambut managed just three receptions for 19 yards. It marked the fourth time this season he's been held under 30 receiving yards, continuing a season where he's reached double-digit fantasy points only three times. The Bears defense has been vulnerable to tight ends, allowing the 10th-most receiving yards per game to the position. With another week to recover, LaPorta has a favorable matchup to improve his production and return to form as a key part of Detroit's passing attack. In Week 13, he remains a low-end TE option for fantasy managers.
From RotoBaller
Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson (concussion) will not play on Thursday due to a concussion, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. Ferguson will now miss his second straight contest after sustaining the injury during their Week 11 loss to the Houston Texans. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his progress ahead of their Week 14 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals. As a result, Luke Schoonmaker will get the starting nod once again. Last weekend, Schoonmaker was productive and brought in three of his four targets for 55 yards and a score against the Washington Commanders. Schnoonmaker has a tough matchup against the Giants, though, who have allowed the second-fewest PPR points to opposing tight ends this season.
From RotoBaller
Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs takes on the Chicago Bears in a Thanksgiving Day NFC North showdown. Gibbs has been a consistent fantasy force, scoring seven rushing touchdowns in his last six games and 10 total on the season. Coming off a strong 21-carry, 90-yard, two-touchdown effort against the Colts, Gibbs has now surpassed 16 PPR fantasy points in eight of 11 games this season. The Bears' defense has been vulnerable against the run, allowing the eighth-most rushing yards and 10th-most rushing touchdowns per game to running backs. Gibbs' explosiveness and involvement in the Lions' offense solidify him as a must-start RB1 in Week 13. Look for another productive outing from the young star on Thanksgiving.
From RotoBaller
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Demarcus Robinson will not a face team suspension, according to Sarah Barshop of ESPN. Robinson was arrested on Monday on suspicion of DUI but should be expected to suit up this weekend against the New Orleans Saints. However, Barshop noted that the team will let the league's disciplinary process play out, which could result in a suspension at a later date. As a result, fantasy managers should expect Robinson to continue to operate as the No. 3 wideout behind Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp. Over his past three contests, Robinson has averaged just 4.0 targets per game with 19.0 yards per game. Fantasy managers should view him as a low-end WR4/flex and a high-risk, high-reward option in DFS facing a weak New Orleans secondary that has allowed the sixth-most PPR points to opposing wideouts this season.
From RotoBaller
Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Josh Downs (shoulder) was listed as a non-participant during Wednesday's estimated practice report as the team only held a walkthrough. Downs was initially deemed "week-to-week" after sustaining this shoulder injury during their loss to the Detroit Lions last weekend. However, the team has yet to rule Downs out, so fantasy managers should continue to closely monitor his status throughout the week. However, seeing him open the week as a non-participant is not a positive sign. Before Week 12, Downs was enjoying a nice stretch of performances as he averaged a strong 17.0 PPR points per game during Weeks 8 through 11. If Downs is unable to suit up, Michael Pittman Jr., Alec Pierce (foot), and rookie Adonai Mitchell would lead the passing attack.
From RotoBaller
Chicago Bears rookie wide receiver Rome Odunze will look to be more productive after a quiet performance in Week 12 as he faces a tough Detroit Lions defense in Week 13. While the Lions' defense ranks second in points allowed, they've been vulnerable to the pass, ranking 25th in pass yards allowed. This could enable Odunze to see some deep shots, especially in a Bears offense that seems to be trending upward. Odunze had a quiet outing in Week 12, finishing with five receptions for 39 yards against the Minnesota Vikings. He must improve his game if the Bears hope to keep pace with the high-powered Lions offense. While he remains a risky play, Odunze has high upside as a desperation flex option this week, particularly if the Bears are forced to air it out in a potential shootout on Thanksgiving.
From RotoBaller
Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Darnell Mooney (Achilles) was a limited participant during Wednesday's practice session, according to Daniel Flick of Sports Illustrated. Fantasy managers should continue to closely monitor his status, as he was dealing with this same injury prior to their Week 11 match and even left that game early with an additional hamstring injury. However, head coach Raheem Morris said Mooney is "looking good and feeling better." After catching only one pass in the season opener, Mooney has gone on to average a strong 15.8 PPR points during Weeks 2 through 10. During this span, Mooney saw 8.2 targets and brought in 74.3 yards per game. If Mooney is able to suit up, fantasy managers should view him a solid flex option facing the Los Angeles Chargers, who have allowed the 13th-fewest PPR points to opposing wideouts this season.
