Caleb Williams Jan 6 8:20am CT
    Caleb Williams

Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams had a mediocre showing in Week 18's 24-22 victory over the Green Bay Packers. The rookie QB completed 21 of his 29 passes for 148 yards and a touchdown while adding 10 yards on the ground. He did connect with DJ Moore for a 32-yard touchdown strike in the fourth quarter to give the Bears the lead. Williams had an inconsistent first season with the Bears and ended his campaign with more games passing for 150 yards or less than he had with over 250 yards. Overall, Williams threw for 3,541 passing yards with 20 touchdowns and six interceptions while rushing for 489 on 81 attempts over 17 games. The former USC Trojan could have plenty of room to grow in 2025, depending on who the Bears bring on to be their head coach. Williams will likely enter next season as a mid-to-low-tier QB2 option heading to upcoming 2025 fantasy football drafts.

Deuce Vaughn Jan 6 8:20am CT
    Deuce Vaughn

Dallas Cowboys running back Deuce Vaughn acted as the team's RB2 on Sunday in the 23-19 loss to Washington following the release of running back Ezekiel Elliott. Vaughn rushed six times for 37 yards, spelling Rico Dowdle. The 5-foot-6 running back looked solid, cranking out a team-long 12-yard carry among his six rush attempts. Vaughn will look to earn a larger role going into next season as Dowdle is set to become an unrestricted free agent in the spring.

Trey Lance Jan 6 8:10am CT
    Trey Lance

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Trey Lance was under center on Sunday as a starting quarterback for the first time since Week 2 of 2022. The inexperienced signal caller had a solid day, completing 20-of-34 passes for 244 yards and carrying the ball six times for 26 yards. Lance played well but struggled to convert in the red zone, with four drives ending in field goals and one ending as a turnover on downs. On the first quarter drive where Dallas failed to convert on fourth down, Lance missed running back Rico Dowdle in the end zone on what should have been an easy pass. The Cowboys ultimately fell 23-19 to the Commanders, but Lance put together a solid audition as he is slated to hit free agency in the spring.

Tutu Atwell Jan 6 5:50am CT
    Tutu Atwell

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Tutu Atwell had a team-high eight targets in the Rams' Week 18 loss to the Seahawks, but he only managed to total 37 yards on his five catches. The third-year receiver played 55% of the team's offensive snaps, which was only the third-highest mark at receiver, but he got plenty of attention from backup quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo. Atwell finishes the season with new career bests of 42 receptions and 562 yards, although he failed to find the end zone this season. After Sunday's busy game, he will return to his regular role next week with Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp available to work with Matthew Stafford in the Wild Card Round against the Vikings.

    From RotoBaller

Demarcus Robinson Jan 6 5:50am CT
    Demarcus Robinson

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Demarcus Robinson caught three of six targets on Sunday for 72 yards in the Rams' 30-25 loss to the Seahawks. Robinson played more snaps than any other wide receiver and was on the field for 62 of the team's 66 offensive snaps. His six targets were fourth on the team, but he turned them into the second-most receiving yards. He finished fourth on the team in receiving yards this season but actually led the team in receiving touchdowns with seven and finished third in targets. He will return to his role as the team's third receiver next week for the playoffs as Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp return after resting against Seattle. Robinson will have touchdown-dependent upside in a reduced role against the Vikings, who have been a good matchup for receivers overall this season.

    From RotoBaller

Tyler Johnson Jan 6 5:40am CT
    Tyler Johnson

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Tyler Johnson had an expanded role on Sunday with Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp resting, and he scored his first touchdown of the season while catching four of his seven targets for a total of 35 yards. Johnson's touchdown came at the start of the fourth quarter, but the Seahawks rallied for a 30-25 victory over their division rival. Despite the loss, the Rams claim the NFC West crown and will host the Vikings in the playoffs next week. Johnson will return to a greatly reduced role with Nacua and Kupp back, although his 26 catches for 291 yards and a touchdown this season have shown he can still produce in the NFL and represent a nice bounce-back season for the former Golden Gopher.

Nikko Remigio Jan 6 3:50am CT
    Nikko Remigio

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Nikko Remigio caught two passes for 48 yards in the 0-38 loss to the Denver Broncos. Remigio led the Chiefs in receptions, receiving yards, and targets in this week's contest. Remigio hauled in a team-long 25-yard reception in this game. With the Kansas City starters relegated to the bench in this contest, Remigio caught his first passes of the season. The next game for the Chiefs will be against the winner of the wildcard matchup between the Los Angeles Chargers and Houston Texans. Given Kansas City's depth at wide receiver, Remigio will likely be uninvolved once the starters are active again.

Carson Steele Jan 6 3:50am CT
    Carson Steele

Kansas City Chiefs running back Carson Steele handled eight carries for 25 yards and two catches for two yards in the 0-38 loss to the Denver Broncos. Steele was the clear lead back for the Chiefs, but he could not do much with his opportunities. The rookie out of UCLA stepped into the lead role with Isiah Pacheco and Kareem Hunt ruled out for this game. Steele averaged just 3.1 yards per carry, but no other Chief carried the ball multiple times in this contest. The next time the Chiefs suit up will be against the winner of the wild card matchup between the Los Angeles Chargers and Houston Texans. Steele will likely be relegated to his RB3 role when the Chiefs play their next game.

Carson Wentz Jan 6 3:40am CT
    Carson Wentz

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Carson Wentz completed 10 of 17 pass attempts (59%) for 98 yards in the 38-0 loss to the Denver Broncos. Wentz was tasked with leading the Kansas City offense without Patrick Mahomes but could not find the endzone. The Chiefs only had 33 total plays in Week 18, compared to 72 for the Broncos. The veteran quarterback managed to stay turnover-free in this contest, but that's the only positive to take from this game. With Mahomes resting multiple weeks between games, Wentz will likely not be asked to start more games. The Chiefs will play the winner of the wildcard matchup between the Los Angeles Chargers and Houston Texans. Wentz will likely find himself back on the bench when the next Chiefs game takes place.

Kyle Pitts Jan 6 3:30am CT
    Kyle Pitts

Atlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts caught two passes for 15 yards and no scores in Sunday's 44-38 overtime loss to the Panthers. Even though Darnell Mooney (shoulder) missed the contest and Michael Penix Jr. tallied 38 pass attempts, Pitts would garner only three targets in the game. It puts an end to another disappointing season for the former first-round draft pick who put up over 1,000 yards receiving in his rookie season back in 2021, but no more than 667 in any season since then including this year's total of 602. The 24-year-old managed four scores on the year, but finishes as a mid-range TE2 for fantasy. Perhaps next season he and Penix Jr. can develop some chemistry, but it seems we've seen the peak already for the 6-foot-6 tight end.

Juwan Johnson Jan 6 1:40am CT
    Juwan Johnson

New Orleans Saints tight end led the team in receptions and yards for the second week in a row in Sunday's 27-19 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He finished the day with six catches for 80 yards, beating the season-high he set just last week. With Chris Olave (concussion) sidelined for the season finale, rookie quarterback Spencer Rattler looked to his tight ends often. Of Rattler's 240 passing yards on the day, 122 went to the trio of Johnson, Foster Moreau (knee), and Dallin Holker. Despite the multiple injuries that drained the Saints of their biggest playmakers, little was asked of Johnson to pick up the slack until the last two games of the season. Still, he will finish 2024 with career highs in receptions (50) and receiving yards (548). The 28-year-old converted wide receiver is set to become a free agent in the coming offseason.

Spencer Rattler Jan 6 1:30am CT
    Spencer Rattler

New Orleans Saints quarterback Spencer Rattler finished his rookie season with another up-and-down performance in the team's 27-19 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The fifth-rounder out of South Carolina went 21-for-28 in the first half, completing a pass to 10 different receivers and throwing a touchdown to Dante Pettis along the way. However, he completed just five more passes after halftime, finishing 26-for-42 for 240 yards and the score. To his credit, he stayed free of any turnovers after throwing three picks and fumbling twice in his previous two starts. In his first year as a pro, Rattler saw far more playing time than expected when he was drafted while covering for Derek Carr's (hand) pair of multi-week absences due to injury. The rookie finishes with 1,317 passing yards, four touchdowns, and five interceptions with a 57% completion rate.

    Clyde Edwards-Helaire Jan 6 1:30am CT
    Clyde Edwards-Helaire

New Orleans Saints running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire needed all of 26 rushing yards to lead the team in the category in Sunday's 27-19 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He added another 14 yards on his only catch of the game. With Alvin Kamara (groin) and Kendre Miller (concussion) sidelined for the season finale, backfield reps were split up among Edwards-Helaire, Jamaal Williams, and Jordan Mims. Williams got the start and out-snapped Edwards-Helaire 24-18, but the backs drew an equal share of carries out of the backfield. The Saints signed the Louisiana native and LSU alum in mid-December after he was released from the Chiefs. Inactive for all of 2024 save the last two games of the Saints' schedule, Edwards-Helaire finishes the year with 46 rushing yards on 13 carries and three receptions for 24 yards. In his previous four years in Kansas City, he had 1,845 rushing yards and 745 receiving.

Dante Pettis Jan 6 1:30am CT
    Dante Pettis

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Dante Pettis caught two of his six targets for 16 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 27-19 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Pettis was the only Saint to find the end zone in the season finale with the rest of New Orleans' points provided by the leg of kicker Blake Grupe. Pettis was signed to the Saints practice squad partway through the season and was added to the active roster in December to accommodate for the team's lack of depth at wide receiver. Over the course of the season, Rashid Shaheed (knee) and Bub Means (ankle) were lost to season-ending injuries and Chris Olave (concussion) missed a total of nine games after suffering two separate concussions. Pettis will finish the season with 10 receptions for 120 yards in his limited role.

Craig Reynolds Jan 6 12:20am CT
    Craig Reynolds

Detroit Lions running back Craig Reynolds rushed eight times for 39 yards during Sunday's Week 18 win over the Minnesota Vikings. He also commanded two targets but was unable to haul in either pass. The 28-year-old has looked like a solid change-of-pace option in three games since David Montgomery (knee) went down, bringing his season totals to 139 rushing yards and 40 receiving yards. He remains a valuable backup for the Lions and handcuff for fantasy managers, but he can't be started in fantasy football as long as Jahmyr Gibbs is healthy. The highly anticipated return of Montgomery soon would also impact Reynolds, dropping him to third on the depth chart. At the moment, he's not on the fantasy radar for the Divisional Round of the NFL playoffs.

Jameson Williams Jan 6 12:20am CT
    Jameson Williams

Detroit Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams caught six of his eight targets for 34 yards during Sunday's Week 18 win over the Minnesota Vikings. The former Ohio State star saw his three-game touchdown streak come to an end in the season finale, but he still salvaged his showing with a half-dozen receptions and modest yardage. Williams wraps up his second pro season with 58 catches, 1,001 receiving yards, and seven touchdowns. Although the Lions' offense places a lot of emphasis on Amon-Ra St. Brown, Sam LaPorta, and Jahmyr Gibbs, players like Williams should be celebrated as flashy WR3/FLEX options in most leagues. He will generate plenty of interest in the early to middle rounds of 2025 fantasy drafts.

    From RotoBaller

    Amon-Ra St. Brown Jan 6 12:10am CT
    Amon-Ra St. Brown

Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown caught six of his seven targets for 77 yards during Sunday's Week 18 win over the Minnesota Vikings. St. Brown had been riding a three-game touchdown streak, so fantasy managers will be understandably disappointed he didn't find the end zone on Sunday night despite leading the Lions in receiving yards. He finished the regular season as the overall WR3 in PPR leagues, and he was just 1.3 points behind the No. 2 wide receiver, Justin Jefferson. All in all, it was an impressive year for the 25-year-old, who totaled double-digit touchdowns for the second year in a row and set a career-high for number of visits to the end zone. Even with the Lions' offense placing attention on Jameson Williams, Sam LaPorta, Jahmyr Gibbs, and David Montgomery, fantasy managers were able to enjoy the fact that St. Brown carved out an enormous role for himself and delivered a terrific season once again, playing in all 17 games. He should be a mid-first-round pick in 2025 fantasy drafts, and managers could absolutely justify making him the second wide receiver off the board after Ja'Marr Chase.

    From RotoBaller

Jared Goff Jan 6 12:10am CT
    Jared Goff

Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff completed 27 of 33 pass attempts for 231 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions during Sunday's Week 18 win over the Minnesota Vikings. He also took two sacks in the victory. Goff has seven interceptions through two Sunday Night Football games in 2024, but he has just 12 turnovers on the season in total. The veteran quarterback finished this year as the overall QB6 in fantasy football, finishing ahead of notable signal-callers like Bo Nix and Jalen Hurts. His final stats for the season include 4,629 passing yards, a career-high 37 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions. Additionally, for the first time in his career, he went a full season without losing a fumble. Goff certainly benefitted from having one of the NFL's best supporting casts around him, but it was also clear that he made his weapons better. The connections between Goff and players like Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jameson Williams, Sam LaPorta, and Jahmyr Gibbs help make the Lions such a dominant team offensively, and they should keep Goff in the mid-range QB1 tier for fantasy football in 2025.

    From RotoBaller

Sam LaPorta Jan 6 12:10am CT
    Sam LaPorta

Detroit Lions tight end Sam LaPorta caught all seven of his targets for 63 yards during Sunday's Week 18 win over the Minnesota Vikings. LaPorta played a large role in helping the Lions secure the NFC's top seed, both this weekend and over a greater stretch of games. In fact, over the final six weeks of the regular season, he ranked first among tight ends in fantasy points (tied with Trey McBride). It was impressive to watch the 23-year-old overcome a tough start to 2024 and finish the season as one of fantasy football's most productive, impactful tight ends. He should remain in the mid-range TE1 tier for 2025, and this season should serve as a reminder to fantasy managers that LaPorta is a top fantasy option regardless of whether his role in the Detroit offense takes a little while to develop.

    From RotoBaller

Jahmyr Gibbs Jan 6 12:00am CT
    Jahmyr Gibbs

Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs totaled 139 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns on 23 carries during Sunday's Week 18 win over the Minnesota Vikings. He also caught all five of his targets for 31 receiving yards and one receiving touchdown. When all was said and done, Gibbs totaled 170 scrimmage yards and four touchdowns while leading the Lions to a division title and the No. 1 seed in the NFC playoff picture. The 22-year-old running back was terrific while playing alongside David Montgomery (knee) for most of the 2024 season, and he has jumped to the elite tier ever since his backfield-mate went down with a knee injury. Even if Montgomery returns for the Divisional Round of the NFL playoffs, Gibbs will remain a high-end RB1 for fantasy purposes thanks to his nearly unparalleled rushing, receiving, and touchdown upside.
