Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers snagged 10 of his 15 targets for 121 receiving yards in his team's Week 12 loss to the Denver Broncos. He's proven to be a surprisingly good player for how he's perceived by the general public of NFL fans, though he's still stuck on a poor team. The Broncos defense preferred to bracket tight end Brock Bowers, allowing Meyers to enjoy softer coverage. While Denver shuts down most receivers, the former Patriots WR has enjoyed two good games against them now. He'll face a presumably tougher test in Week 13, when he'll face the Kansas City Chiefs and likely draw the attention of elite cornerback Trent McDuffie. It won't help that he may have to catch passes from quarterback Desmond Ridder, since the starter from Week 12, Gardner Minshew II (collarbone), won't play again this season. He's still a must-start in PPR leagues though.
From RotoBaller
Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers had his second-least productive game of the season in Week 12. His team's opponent, the Denver Broncos, seemed to get the message -- slow down Bowers if you want to win. They bracketed him early and often, holding him to just four catches on his 10 targets. He gained only 38 receiving yards, his lowest total since Week 4 against the Cleveland Browns. That team has been excellent against tight ends this year as well. Sometimes bad matchups happen, but that shouldn't deter you away from the rookie in fantasy football. No serious team should bench him in fantasy football. He's a top-3 option moving forward and could still finish as the overall TE1. HIs team will face the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 13, and while they're a solid defense, you must start BB.
From RotoBaller
Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Tre Tucker caught seven of his eight targets against the Denver Broncos in Week 12. It was a bounce-back game for him. He had failed to gain more than 41 receiving yards in any contest since Week 3 before today. The Denver defense is typically lockdown against opposing receivers. However, Denver sold out to stop tight end Brock Bowers from gashing them, which left much more room for the wideouts to shine. The Broncos seemed content with slowing down Las Vegas' best weapon. The offense as a whole has struggled mightily this season, though, and Tucker isn't a very good starting option in any leagues yet. It's worth stashing him on benches in very deep leagues, but this is a lost season for the Silver and Black. They'll face the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 13. Not a fun matchup.
From RotoBaller
San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle was the only fantasy non-disappointment on his team's side of the ball during a 38-10 loss to the Packers in Green Bay on Sunday. The colorful 31-year-old scored San Francisco's only touchdown, a three-yard reception from backup quarterback Brandon Allen in the second quarter. Including the TD, he would finish with six catches on as many targets for 82 yards. As San Francisco's most consistent fantasy asset in 2024, Kittle is leading all tight ends in half-PPR points, despite missing two games due to injury. While all other Niners offensive players struggled to produce with starting quarterback Brock Purdy (shoulder) and left tackle Trent Williams (ankle) sidelined, Kittle once again showed out. As a result, whether San Francisco's offense is healthy or not in Week 13 at Buffalo, Kittle will remain a no-brainer fantasy start in all formats.
From RotoBaller
Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Desmond Ridder stepped in for starting QB Gardner Minshew II (collarbone), who suffered a season-ending injury near the end of the team's Week 12 loss to the Denver Broncos. Ridder completed five of ten passes for 64 yards, carried the ball one time for three yards, and was sacked twice. He lost a fumble on one of his sacks. He only played the final 2:50 of the game, so he didn't have many chances to make an impact, as the game was out of reach at that point. But what he showed wasn't great. It's not yet known if the former Falcon will start in Week 13 -- Aidan O'Connell (thumb) remains on injured reserve with a broken thumb. The team will face the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 13, who've looked mortal lately, but Ridder is tough to justify starting even in 2QB/Superflex leagues.
From RotoBaller
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Demarcus Robinson caught two of his three targets for 15 yards and one touchdown during Sunday night's loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. He was one of two Rams receivers who caught a touchdown pass from Matthew Stafford, joining Cooper Kupp in that regard. He has been an impressive scoring threat, catching 26 passes, 384 yards, and six touchdowns through 11 games so far this season. Despite his solid stats this season, Robinson finds himself behind Kupp and Puka Nacua, keeping him off the fantasy radar in most leagues.
From RotoBaller
New York Giants tight end Theo Johnson caught three of his six targets for 39 yards in Sunday's 30-7 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Johnson showcased his big-play ability with a 23-yard reception, the longest play of the game for the Giants, but was otherwise limited in an offense that managed just 192 passing yards. His 5.4 fantasy points highlight the challenge of relying on him in fantasy formats, especially with inconsistent quarterback play from Tommy Devito. While Johnson's athleticism is evident, the Giants' offensive struggles cap his potential, leaving him as a deep-league streaming option at best.
From RotoBaller
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp caught eight of his 11 targets for 60 yards and one touchdown during Sunday night's loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. His touchdown came on a 27-yard pass from Matthew Stafford with just 72 seconds left in the fourth quarter. He now has 55 catches, 548 yards, and five touchdowns through seven games this season. Even though he has been less productive than teammate Puka Nacua over the last few weeks, Kupp should continue to be treated as a solid WR1 option heading into next week's game against the New Orleans Saints.
From RotoBaller
Los Angeles Rams running back Kyren Williams rushed for 72 yards and one touchdown on 16 carries during Sunday's Week 12 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. He did not get involved in the passing game, and he also fumbled twice. One fumble was recovered by the Rams; the other was taken away by the Eagles. Williams' three-game streak without a touchdown came to an end on Sunday night as he found the end zone for the ninth time this season. He'll rank as a high-end RB1 versus the New Orleans Saints' poor run defense in Week 13.
From RotoBaller
New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers led the team with six receptions for 64 yards on nine targets in Sunday's 30-7 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Averaging 10.7 yards per catch with a 21-yard long, Nabers provided a bright spot in an otherwise sluggish offense that managed 192 passing yards and trailed 23-0 at halftime with a mere 45 yards of total offense. Despite his steady volume, Nabers' fantasy upside is capped by the Giants' quarterback situation, with Tommy Devito under center and the possibility of Drew Lock stepping in. While his 9.4 fantasy points are serviceable, Nabers' production may be inconsistent unless the offense stabilizes and generates more scoring opportunities.
From RotoBaller
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua caught nine of his 13 targets for 117 yards during Sunday's Week 12 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. Nacua led the team in all three of those stats, serving as Matthew Stafford's favorite target once again. He has 25 catches, 338 yards, and one touchdown over his last three games, ranking as the overall WR3 in PPR leagues during that span. He should be deployed as a top-five fantasy receiver heading into a Week 13 battle with the New Orleans Saints.
From RotoBaller
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings had a muted performance during a 38-10 loss to the Packers in Green Bay on Sunday. The 6-foot-3 former seventh-rounder caught five of seven targets for 40 yards. Except for tight end George Kittle, San Francisco's entire offense struggled to put up numbers during a game in which they were fighting through the absence of quarterback Brock Purdy (shoulder) and left tackle Trent Williams (ankle). On the bright side, Jennings' target total led all 49ers and he continues to out-produce both Deebo Samuel Sr. and rookie Ricky Pearsall. However, there is no guarantee that the 49ers will be any healthier when they play the Bills in Week 13. Jennings managers will need to monitor the status of Purdy -- and to a lesser degree, Williams -- before setting expectations for the emergent wideout in Buffalo on Sunday Night Football.
From RotoBaller
New York Giants wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson caught all five of his targets for 47 yards in Sunday's 30-7 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, averaging 9.4 yards per reception. His 16-yard longest catch was a solid contribution in a game where the Giants offense was largely ineffective, with just 192 total passing yards and a 23-0 deficit at halftime. Robinson's 7.2 fantasy points fell slightly below his season average of 8.12, reflecting the struggles of the Giants' passing game under quarterback Tommy Devito. While Robinson's reliability in catching all his targets is encouraging, the team's offensive woes and lack of scoring opportunities make him a low-ceiling flex option in most fantasy formats.
From RotoBaller
Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Brandon Graham (triceps) announced that he tore his triceps during Week 12 versus the Los Angeles Rams. He appeared to suffer the injury during the third quarter of Sunday's game and is officially done for the season. He tallied two tackles and one sack in the win, finishing his season with 20 tackles, 3.5 sacks, and one forced fumble through 11 games. Nolan Smith and Jalyx Hunt should earn more snaps with Graham injured.
From RotoBaller
New York Giants running back Devin Singletary scored the team's lone touchdown in a 30-7 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers despite an otherwise quiet performance with just two carries for three rushing yards and two catches for seven receiving yards. Singletary's four total touches, producing only 10 yards, highlight his limited role in the offense behind starter Tyrone Tracy Jr. The Giants trailed 23-0 at halftime, amassing a paltry 45 yards of offense through two quarters, leaving Singletary with few opportunities to contribute. While his late touchdown salvaged eight fantasy points, his low volume and Tracy's clear lead in the backfield make Singletary not a fantasy option in the near future.
From RotoBaller
Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford completed 24 of his 36 pass attempts for 243 yards, two touchdowns, and zero turnovers during Sunday's Week 12 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. Stafford delivered the production needed to support himself, Puka Nacua, and Cooper Kupp in fantasy football, but it wasn't enough to pull off the upset victory over Philadelphia. The veteran has six touchdowns and zero interceptions over his last two games, putting him in the high-end QB2 range heading into next week against the New Orleans Saints.
From RotoBaller
Denver Broncos rookie wide receiver Devaughn Vele caught six of his nine targets for a season-high 80 yards in the 29-19 win over the division-rival Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday in Week 12 action. Vele has quietly become rookie quarterback Bo Nix's second-favorite target through the air behind Courtland Sutton in recent weeks. The 26-year-old seventh-round selection out of Utah was second on the team on the day with his six receptions and nine targets behind Sutton. Vele is suddenly becoming interesting in fantasy with Nix continuing to improve as a passer, making Vele at least worth a look for receiver depth in deeper fantasy leagues. However, with Josh Reynolds (hand) getting closer to a return from Injured Reserve, it could put a damper on Vele's volume as he also continues to battle for targets with rookie Troy Franklin, Marvin Mims Jr. and Lil'Jordan Humphrey.
From RotoBaller
Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Darius Slay (concussion) exited Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Rams and did not return. The team announced on X that he had been diagnosed with a concussion, therefore making him ineligible to finish Sunday night's contest. Slay finished Week 12 with three tackles and one pass defended. He now has seven days to clear concussion protocol before the Eagles' next game against the Baltimore Ravens. If he can't suit up next week, Isaiah Rodgers should step up in his absence.
From RotoBaller
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel Sr. came into a Week 12 matchup at the Green Bay Packers in a modest slump, averaging 8.3 half-PPR points over his past three games. The former Gamecock's struggles bottomed out on Sunday, as he finished with one catch on four targets for 21 yards. Much of San Francisco's offensive ineptitude on the day can be explained by starting quarterback Brock Purdy (shoulder) and left tackle Trent Williams (ankle) watching from the sidelines. However, outside of his one catch-and-run and 87-yard kick return nullified by a holding call, Samuel Sr. was part of the problem. With two crucial drops, including one that directly led to a Brandon Allen interception, it's hard to say with a straight face that Samuel Sr.'s fantasy day was a victim of circumstance. In Week 13, things don't get any easier for Samuel Sr. and the Niners as they travel to Buffalo to face the Bills. If San Francisco's injury problems at quarterback and offensive line linger, Samuel Sr. will be hard to trust in fantasy lineups.
From RotoBaller
New York Giants running back Tyrone Tracy Jr. managed 42 rushing yards on nine carries, including a 16-yard burst, in Sunday's 30-7 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Tracy averaged 4.7 yards per carry and added four receptions for 28 yards, but his fantasy output was marred by a costly fumblethe second straight week he's lost onelimiting him to just seven fantasy points. The Giants' offense was ineffective in the first half, trailing 23-0 and managing only 45 total yards, with Tracy unable to find consistent opportunities. While his efficiency (70 yards total offense) was a bright spot, his ball-security issues and the team's offensive struggles make him RB2 or a flex option heading into Week 13.
