David Montgomery Jan 5 11:40pm CT
    David Montgomery

Detroit Lions running back David Montgomery (knee) underwent a full workout on Saturday, according to NBC Sports' Sunday Night Football broadcast. This was Montgomery's first full workout since suffering an MCL sprain in Week 15, and it indicates that the veteran running back could be nearing a return to the field. Head coach Dan Campbell wouldn't comment on his timetable, though, and when NBC Sports' Melissa Stark asked Campbell if Montgomery could play next week, he said, "I'm excited. I'll just say that." That question is moot now that Detroit has clinched a bye through Wild Card Weekend, but the bottom line is that Montgomery might have a real chance to play in the Lions' next game during the Divisional Round. He and Jahmyr Gibbs arguably form the best one-two punch in the NFL, so having both backs healthy for the playoffs would give the Lions an enormous boost.

Devaughn Vele Jan 5 11:40pm CT
    Devaughn Vele

Denver Broncos rookie wide receiver Devaughn Vele was productive in the team's 38-0 blowout win over the division-rival Kansas City Chiefs in the Week 18 regular-season finale on Sunday, catching all four of his targets on the day for 50 yards and a touchdowns, his third of the year. Vele's touchdown catch was an acrobatic grab in the back of the end zone in the second half in which two Chiefs defenders deflected it first. It was an incredible demonstration of concentration for the seventh-rounder out of Utah who has now scored in two of the last three games. The 27-year-old finishes the regular season as Denver's third leading receiver with 41 receptions, 475 yards and three touchdowns. As the No. 3 in the Broncos offense heading into a wild-card matchup against the Buffalo Bills on the road, Vele will merely be a touchdown-dependent WR sleeper in DFS lineups.

Cam Akers Jan 5 11:40pm CT
    Cam Akers

Minnesota Vikings running back Cam Akers rushed six times for 65 yards in Sunday's 31-9 loss to the Detroit Lions. Akers had a long rush of 58 yards -- breaking free early in the third quarter to bring Minnesota inside the Lions' five-yard line. However, the drive would stall, and they'd turn it over on downs. Otherwise, he gained only seven yards on his other five carries against a Lions defense out to prove a point in the season finale. Backfield mate Aaron Jones was sidelined for a bit in this one, but no injury was reported. If Jones is forced to miss time, the 25-year-old would be the next man up, and projects to command the lion's share of the team's backfield touches. It'd be wise to keep an eye on Jones' practice status this week as the team prepares for a Wild Card bout with the Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium.

Aaron Jones Jan 5 11:30pm CT
    Aaron Jones

Minnesota Vikings running back Aaron Jones rushed 10 times for 45 yards in Sunday night's 31-9 loss to the Detroit Lions, adding 30 yards through the air on five of six receiving. The 30-year-old was effective when he touched the rock but did not receive his typical allotment of snaps in this one. Jones was utilized heavily on the Vikings' first drive but saw just one more touch in the quarter before taking off for a few possessions. He'd again be frequently featured on their last drive of the first half, but he saw only five more touches for the rest of the game. The broadcast noted that the eighth-year pro had been on the sideline for an extended period, though no injury designation had been made. He'd also take a shot later in the game and was slow to get up, so that and his previous quad ailment are possibly the culprits for his diminished snaps. Seeing the veteran limited at practice this week wouldn't be surprising. Jones will get an extra day of rest as his team now prepares for their road tilt with the Los Angeles Rams next Monday night to cap off wild-card weekend. Minnesota's first practice report will be out on Thursday.

Courtland Sutton Jan 5 11:30pm CT
    Courtland Sutton

Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton not only helped the Broncos reach the playoffs for the first time since 2015 in their 38-0 shutout win over the division-rival Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday in the Week 18 regular-season finale, but he also reached the 1,000-yard mark in the regular season for only the second time in his career. Sutton finished the day with five receptions for a team-high 98 yards and a touchdown on a team-high seven targets. Half of the 29-year-old's yardage on the day came on his first catch, a 47-yarder in the first quarter. After a slow start with rookie quarterback Bo Nix, Sutton has come on strong in the second half and will finish with eight total touchdowns after scoring 10 in 2023. He's been Nix's go-to receiver all year long, and that should change in the wild-card round on the road in Buffalo against the Bills. Sutton will be a WR1 in DFS contests and playoff leagues.

    T.J. Hockenson Jan 5 11:30pm CT
    T.J. Hockenson

Minnesota Vikings tight end T.J. Hockenson brought in 2-of-8 targets for nine yards in his team's 31-9 loss to the Detroit Lions. The Lions weren't messing around on Sunday night and were a brick wall on defense for the first time in a few weeks. Hockenson was consistently targeted on third down by quarterback Sam Darnold, but Detroit was there time and time again to break up the pass. It's the Iowa alum's worst outing since his return from injury in a game when the Vikings scored their fewest points of the season. Darnold had pressure in his face all night, and the Lions' defensive backfield was equally impressive in their coverage. Unfortunately for Minnesota, they'll prepare for a road tilt with the Los Angeles Rams next Monday night in lieu of a week off and home-field advantage. LA allowed the sixth-most fantasy points per game to TEs in the regular season, so Hockenson stands a good chance at a productive day during Wild Card Weekend.

Bo Nix Jan 5 11:20pm CT
    Bo Nix

Denver Broncos rookie quarterback Bo Nix saved his best performance of an incredible rookie season for the Week 18 regular-season finale in a 38-0 shutout win over the division-rival Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday that sends the Broncos to the postseason for the first time since they won Super Bowl 50. With the Chiefs resting most of their best players on defense in this one, Nix took advantage to go 26-for-29 for a season-high 321 yards and four touchdowns. He added seven carries for 47 yards on the ground and broke an NFL record for a rookie with 17 straight completions. As he's done all year, the 24-year-old first-rounder from Oregon spread the wealth to three different receivers for his four TD passes. Nix looks like the real deal after his first 17 NFL games, throwing for 3,775 yards, 29 touchdowns and 12 interceptions while adding four rushing TDs. He'll face a challenging matchup in Buffalo against the Bills in his first taste of playoff football next Sunday.

Marvin Mims Jan 5 11:20pm CT
    Marvin Mims

Denver Broncos wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr. is coming alive at the right time for the Broncos. The second-year wideout caught two touchdowns for the second straight week in the 38-0 blowout win over the division-rival Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday in the Week 18 regular-season finale. Mims came down with all five of his targets for 51 yards to help the Broncos advance to the postseason for the first time since 2015. The 22-year-old scored the first TD of the day on a 32-yard reception and later added a seven-yard plunge in the third quarter. His five targets on the day were second to Courtland Sutton, and Mims has now had at least four targets in six straight games to close the season. Mims will head into a wild-card playoff matchup in Buffalo against the Bills as Denver's No. 2 wideout who relies mainly on big plays and yards-after-the-catch ability to deliver for fantasy managers.

    From RotoBaller

Jordan Addison Jan 5 11:10pm CT
    Jordan Addison

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison caught 1-of-6 targets and gained no yards in his team's 31-9 loss to the Detroit Lions. Oof. Addison didn't receive his first target until the Vikings' first drive of the second quarter -- a bubble screen he caught for no gain. The next play was a deep shot to him in the end zone where he had a step on the defender, but quarterback Sam Darnold overthrew him. Otherwise, he and Darnold were not on the same page Sunday night. Detroit's defense was hungry and made a statement with linebacker Alex Anzalone back in the lineup -- keeping the QB out of rhythm and disrupting plays on the back end. With the loss, Minnesota will forego a week off and line up against the Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium next Monday night. It's another exploitable matchup for the Vikes, so expect them to come out swinging in a win-or-go-home Wild Card clash.

    From RotoBaller

Justin Jefferson Jan 5 11:00pm CT
    Justin Jefferson

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson reeled in 3-of-9 targets for 54 yards in Sunday's 31-9 loss to the Detroit Lions. It's a disappointing outcome for the fantasy stalwart, as he'd been on quite a tear and was entering a favorable spot against his division rivals. However, Detroit's defense clamped down on the Vikings during the season finale, consistently pressuring quarterback Sam Darnold and keeping their offense off-kilter. The loss breaks a nine-game winning streak for Minnesota and drops them down to the fifth seed in the NFC playoff picture. Instead of a week off and home-field advantage throughout the tournament, they'll now travel to SoFi Stadium in the Wild Card round to line up against the Los Angeles Rams. Expect Jefferson to get back on track next Monday night against a Rams squad that allowed the sixth-most yards per game in 2024.

George Kittle Jan 5 11:00pm CT
    George Kittle

San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle (ankle, hamstring) was outproduced by his backup Eric Saubert during the team's 47-24 loss to the Cardinals in Arizona. Kittle caught two of three targets for 27 yards. The affable team captain was questionable and ultimately activated but had his snap count reduced in the meaningless game. Most likely, the 49ers organization was showing appreciation to Kittle by giving him the start since he has a $500,000 per-game roster bonus in his contract. Kittle finishes an excellent season as the overall half-PPR TE2, behind only Las Vegas Raiders rookie Brock Bowers and just ahead of Arizona's Trey McBride. He amassed 78 receptions, 1,106 yards, and eight touchdowns in 2024. He was hyper-efficient this year, setting career marks in catch percentage and yards per target. Kittle will enter his age-32 season in 2025 once again as a fantasy TE1 with San Francisco.

Marvin Harrison Jr. Jan 5 11:00pm CT
    Marvin Harrison Jr.

Arizona Cardinals rookie wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. ended the season on a high note, catching a 12-yard touchdown pass from Kyler Murray. Harrison Jr. was active in the 47-24 win over the San Francisco 49ers, catching five passes for 63 yards and one touchdown. Harrison Jr. joined Cardinals legends Anquan Boldin and Larry Fitzgerald in a tie for the most receiving touchdowns by a Cardinals rookie, with eight. Harrison Jr. entered the season with sky-high expectations, leading some to view his year as a disappointment. However, he built momentum with his last two performances of the season and will look to have a breakout year in his second season with the Cardinals.

    From RotoBaller

Greg Dortch Jan 5 11:00pm CT
    Greg Dortch

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Greg Dortch had his best performance of the season in the 47-24 win over the San Francisco 49ers. Dortch had an increased role in this game with wide receiver Michael Wilson (hamstring) out of the lineup. Dortch's official stat line was four catches for 47 yards and two touchdowns. Dortch wasn't as involved in the Cardinals' offense as some had expected this season; however, his performance at the end of the year proved he is still capable of making plays when given the opportunity. It will be interesting to see what Dortch's role will be with the Cardinals heading into next season.

    From RotoBaller

Sam Darnold Jan 5 10:40pm CT
    Sam Darnold

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Sam Darnold completed 18-of-41 passes for 166 yards in Sunday night's 31-9 loss to the Detroit Lions. He did not throw a touchdown or interception and added 11 yards on two carries. Week 18 was easily the 27-year-old's worst start of the season, statistically. Darnold's passing output was a season low, and it was the first time since Week 10 that he failed to toss at least one score. Despite being sacked just twice in the meeting, Detroit's front seven was in the signal-caller's face all game, throwing off his timing and forcing him from the pocket. In a game when it mattered most, the Lions' D played incredibly tough -- clinching home-field advantage in the playoffs for the first time in franchise history. With the Vikings now occupying the fifth seed in the NFC, they'll square off against the Los Angeles Rams on the road in Wild Card Weekend.

    From RotoBaller

Cameron Dicker Jan 5 10:30pm CT
    Cameron Dicker

Los Angeles Chargers kicker Cameron Dicker made six of his seven kicks in a Week 18 win over the Las Vegas Raiders. Dicker made both of his extra point tries and four of his five field goal attempts. He made field goals from 33, 32, 49, and 20 yards away. His miss was on a 51-yard try in the first quarter. Dicker ends the regular season as one of the best and most consistent kickers, both in fantasy and on the "real life" field. He'll be one of the best options at the position in the Wild Card Round of the playoffs, when the Bolts face off against the Houston Texans.

    From RotoBaller

Will Dissly Jan 5 10:20pm CT
    Will Dissly

Los Angeles Chargers tight end Will Dissly scored a touchdown in a Week 18 win over the Las Vegas Raiders. Dissly was targeted six times, making five catches for 42 yards. His touchdown came on a two-yard pass from Justin Herbert near the beginning of the fourth quarter. Dissly ended up second on the team in catches and third in targets. Stone Smartt, who had been splitting tight end work with Dissly, finished the game without a single target. Dissly should remain the top tight end option for the Bolts on Saturday when they face the Texans in the first round of the playoffs.

    From RotoBaller

Chris Conley Jan 5 10:20pm CT
    Chris Conley

Wide receiver Chris Conley had one of his best games as a San Francisco 49er during a 47-24 loss to the Cardinals in Arizona on Sunday. The 32-year-old journeyman caught all four targets for 59 yards receiving from backup quarterback Joshua Dobbs. The yardage and reception totals more than doubled Conley's 2024 production entering Week 18. Conley's stat line looks very similar to his only other productive game with San Francisco, which came on the final game of last season (three receptions for 69 yards). Over his 10-year career so far, Conley has amassed 226 receptions for 2,998 yards and 15 touchdowns. Conley will be an unrestricted free agent this summer and will likely be off the fantasy radar wherever he lands.

    From RotoBaller

    D.J. Chark Jan 5 10:20pm CT
    D.J. Chark

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver D.J. Chark scored a touchdown in a Week 18 win over the Las Vegas Raiders. Chark was targeted three times, making his only catch for a six-yard touchdown at the end of the second quarter. It was Chark's only touchdown of the season, as he ended up making just four catches this season. He missed some time due to injury, but even when healthy he was unable to move up the Chargers wide receiver depth chart. He likely won't be a factor when the playoffs start for the Bolts on Saturday against the Houston Texans.

    From RotoBaller

Derius Davis Jan 5 10:20pm CT
    Derius Davis

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Derius Davis got just two touches in a Week 18 win over the Las Vegas Raiders. Davis ran the ball once, losing one yard on the play. He was also targeted once in the passing game, making a catch for a five-yard gain. Davis had been making a little noise over the past couple of games, but he fell back into a support role in this one, which is likely the role he'll play in the playoffs, starting on Saturday in the Wild Card Round against the Houston Texans.

    From RotoBaller

Bryce Young Jan 5 10:13pm CT
    Bryce Young

Dynasty | Panthers quarterback Bryce Young completed 25-of-34 passes for 251 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions in a win against Atlanta. Dynasty Analysis: This was just the second game where Young threw for at least three touchdowns in his two-year career. More importantly, Young has looked very competent with twelve touchdown passes and just three interceptions in his last three games. While his numbers aren't eye-popping, it seems Carolina may have just resurrected his career and salvaged some dignity in the process. Young seems entrenched as the starter in Carolina moving forward and should be an upside QB2 moving forward.
