The Cincinnati Bengals are bringing back running back Samaje Perine on a two-year deal worth up to $3.8 million, according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo. Perine spent was with the organization for four years before joining the Kansas City Chiefs on a one-year deal last offseason. Overall, the 2017 fourth-round pick out of Oklahoma has rushed for 1,922 yards and nine touchdowns on 474 carries in 104 career games. The 29-year-old is a reliable pass-blocker and could carve out a role behind Chase Brown, but he has limited fantasy football upside barring a Brown injury.

The Chicago Bears are signing former Atlanta Falcons defensive tackle Grady Jarrett to a three-year, $43.5 million deal, according to NFL insider Ari Meirov. Jarrett was released by Atlanta on Monday and did not take long to find a new home. The former fifth-round pick out of Clemson in 2015 is a two-time Pro Bowler and has collected 496 tackles (267 solo), 36.5 sacks, five forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, six pass deflections, and 70 run stuffs in 152 career games. The 31-year-old has posted just 4 sacks in the last two seasons, so he is likely past his prime. Either way, he is likely to be a Day 1 starter for the Bears in 2025.

The Buffalo Bills have agreed to terms with free-agent wide receiver Joshua Palmer, according to NFL insider Ari Meirov. The former Los Angeles Chargers wideout is expected to sign a three-year, $36 million contract with the Bills when the new league year begins on March 12. Palmer was a third-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft out of Tennessee and has collected 182 receptions for 2,287 yards and 10 touchdowns in 59 career games. Palmer's counting stats aren't all that impressive, but he's been a solid receiving option for Justin Herbert during his four-year NFL career. Palmer could be a significant fantasy football riser playing alongside Josh Allen with limited target competition in Buffalo.

The Jacksonville Jaguars have agreed to terms on a one-year, $10 million contract worth up to $12 million with former Washington Commanders wide receiver Dyami Brown, according to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network. The 2021 third-round pick out of North Carolina caught fewer than 15 passes and posted fewer than 200 years in each of his first three NFL seasons, but he emerged in 2024 in his final season with Washington. Brown posted 30 receptions for 308 yards and one touchdown during the regular season before tallying 14 receptions for 229 yards and a score in three postseason games. He's now headed to Duval County to catch passes from Trevor Lawrence, but his fantasy football upside is likely limited behind Brian Thomas Jr. The team will likely look to add more pass-catchers this offseason after letting Christian Kirk and Evan Engram go.

The New York Jets have signed quarterback Justin Fields to a two-year contract worth $40 million. This deal includes $30 million guaranteed. The 26-year-old opened the 2024 campaign as Pittsburgh's No. 1 quarterback before being replaced by Russell Wilson. During his time as the starter, Fields averaged 183.4 passing yards and 38.5 rushing yards per game. He found the back of the end zone 10 times (five passing, five rushing) and threw just one interception. During the 2022 season, Fields enjoyed a career-season as he tallied 2,242 passing yards and added an impressive 1,143 yards on the ground. During this season, he threw 17 scores and tallied eight rushing touchdowns. However, he threw 11 interceptions. Fantasy managers should expect Fields to likely operate as their starting quarterback as the Jets are parting ways with Aaron Rodgers. Veteran Tyrod Taylor is also on the roster and could compete for starting opportunities during training camp if Fields were to struggle. Fields carries solid upside as a high-end QB2 in all formats given his elite rushing ability.

The Seattle Seahawks have signed quarterback Sam Darnold to a three-year, $110.5 million contract. This deal includes $55 million guaranteed. Just days after trading Geno Smith to the Las Vegas Raiders, the Seahawks will now turn to Darnold to lead their franchise. After never reaching his full potential after being selected with the third overall selection in the 2018 NFL Draft, Darnold finally found his footing last season in Minnesota. He led the Vikings to an impressive 14-3 record. He threw for 4,319 yards and added 35 passing scores, which were both the fifth-most in the league. Darnold flourished under head coach Kevin O'Connell and threw at least three passing scores in six contests. Darnold will now join Seattle, which finished just short of a playoff bid as they held a 10-7 record. The Seahawks recently parted ways with wide receiver DK Metcalf, which leaves Jaxon Smith-Njigba as Darnold's lone proven wideout. Darnold should be viewed as a solid QB2 in all formats but could enter the low-end QB1 range if Seattle improves their wide receiver room.

Former New York Jets and pending free-agent cornerback D.J. Reed is expected to sign a three-year, $48 million deal with the Detroit Lions when the new league year begins on March 12. Reed has been a standout defensive back for New York since signing with the team in 2022. The former fifth-round pick out of Kansas State in 2018 has totaled 414 tackles (326 solo), two sacks, four forced fumbles, six interceptions, and 50 pass deflections in 101 career games. The Lions just lost cornerback Carlton Davis III to the New England Patriots in free agency, so Reed will replace him opposite 2024 first-round pick Terrion Arnold in 2025 under new defensive coordinator Kelvin Sheppard.
Dynasty | The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have re-signed wide receiver Chris Godwin. Dynasty Analysis: It's reportedly a three-year deal worth $66 million. This will keep Godwin in pewter through his age-32 season and keeps the duo of Mike Evans and Godwin together for the best parts of their careers. It's a big deal for Tampa Bay as losing Godwin would have been catastrophic. While he's still recovering from an early season injury, he should be back by training camp and his 50/576/5 line last year showed he's still an elite option. This is big news for Baker Mayfield as well since he'll have the band back together again for an offense that was borderline explosive at times last year. Godwin's ADP will remain stable with the move.
Dynasty | The Chiefs have signed running back Elijah Mitchell, formerly of the 49ers. Dynasty Analysis: Ok, then. This is actually interesting. The Chiefs have Isiah Pacheco as their lead back, but Kareem Hunt is a free agent and Mitchell could be his replacement. We've seen him perform well in similar offensive systems and could be a serious weapon should Pacheco be injured again and if the Chiefs fail to add much else to the roster. While not a priority on dynasty rosters at the moment, Mitchell is a player to keep tabs on through the rest of free agency and the draft. If he's the backup in Kansas City, you could really have something here again.
Former NFL Defensive Player of the Year Khalil Mack reached an agreement on Monday on a one-year, fully guaranteed $18 million deal with the Los Angeles Chargers, sources tell ESPN's Adam Schefter. After the Chargers released pass-rusher Joey Bosa last week, it was imperative that the Chargers retain linebacker Mack after he decided in the offseason that he would be returning for another season. The 34-year-old veteran, three-time first-team All-Pro and nine-time Pro Bowler wasn't quite as good as he was in 2024 as he was in 2023 when he had a career-best 17 sacks, but he was still productive. Mack finished with 39 tackles (20 solo), six sacks, six tackles for loss, 15 QB hits, nine pass breakups, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery in 16 regular-season starts. Mack will still be relevant in IDP fantasy leagues in what will likely be his final season, but the absence of Bosa will probably mean more double-teams.
Dynasty | The Steelers have re-signed running back Jaylen Warren. Dynasty Analysis: The move will pay him a little over $5 million. He can still negotiate with other teams, but they'd have to send Pittsburgh a second round pick if they sign him, something that seems to be highly unlikely. Warren has always been productive, but never a true RB1 with the Steelers. Najee Harris is expected to leave in free agency, but it's hard to believe Pittsburgh will just hand the reigns over to Warren. As such, his dynasty value and ADP should remain pretty static.
Free-agent QB Sam Darnold (Vikings) agreed to a three-year deal worth $110.5 million, according to sources Monday, March 10. The deal includes $55 million guaranteed.
Fantasy Spin: Darnold is coming off the best season of his career and will be the replacement for Geno Smith. The departure of DK Metcalf means one less wide receiver to work with, but this should provide a stable floor for Jaxon Smith-Njigba. As for Darnold's fantasy prospects, it will be difficult to follow up his QB8 finish in Seattle. He's best viewed as a QB2 option moving forward.

Pittsburgh Steelers DT Larry Ogunjobi was released Monday, March 10.

Free-agent defensive tackle Milton Williams was reportedly close to reaching a deal with the Carolina Panthers, but according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, he has now agreed to terms with the New England Patriots. His new deal is expected to be for $26 million per season. The 25-year-old was a third-round pick out of Louisiana Tech in 2021 and posted a career-high five sacks in 2024. Overall, Williams is credited with 132 tackles (66 solo), 11.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles in 67 games. He will now anchor the New England defense led by new head coach Mike Vrabel and defensive coordinator Terrell Williams.

The Minnesota Vikings have agreed to terms with former Indianapolis Colts and Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Isaiah Rodgers, according to NFL insider Ari Meirov. The 27-year-old is expected to sign a two-year, $15 million deal when the new league year begins on March 12. Rodgers was suspended by the NFL for violating the league's policy on gambling in 2023 and missed the entire season. He was released by the Colts following the punishment handed down by the NFL. He signed with the Philadelphia Eagles last year and played in 15 games (three starts). Overall, the UMass product has totaled 116 tackles, three interceptions, and 14 pass deflections in 45 career games. He'll now play under top NFL defensive coordinator Brian Flores in Minnesota.
From RotoBaller
The Houston Texans are re-signing free agent defensive lineman Derek Barnett, according to team reporter Jonathan M. Alexander. Barnett was a first-round pick by the Philadelphia Eagles in 2017 out of Tennessee but has spent the last two seasons with Houston. Barnett had his most productive season since 2020 last year, racking up 26 total tackles, five sacks, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, and one pass deflection. Barnett is coming back on a one-year, $5 million deal and will continue to provide depth along DeMeco Ryans' defensive front.

Free-agent right tackle Morgan Moses has agreed to a three-year, $24 million contract with the New England Patriots, according to NFL insider Albert Breer. Moses spent last season with the New York Jets following seven seasons with the Washington Commanders, one year with the Jets, and two years with the Baltimore Ravens. The 34-year-old has played in 166 NFL games with 158 starts. He will provide an instant upgrade and veteran presence along the Patriots offensive line that is tasked with protecting promising second-year quarterback Drake Maye.

Free-agent WR Braxton Berrios (Dolphins) agreed to terms on a one-year deal worth $2 million with the Houston Texans, according to sources Monday, March 10.
