Miami Dolphins running back Raheem Mostert (hip) was listed as limited in the team's first practice of Week 14 preparation on Wednesday. Mostert's hip injury dates back to the Nov. 17 contest against the Las Vegas Raiders, but it's a minor injury that he has played through. Therefore, barring a setback later this week, the 32-year-old veteran should be available to play in Week 14 against the division-rival New York Jets on Sunday. Mostert surprisingly led the Dolphins in rushing in last Thursday night's loss to the Green Bay Packers, when he had just 19 yards on five rushing attempts. It was the second straight week Mostert saw over 30% of the offensive snaps, but it hasn't led to much production. As long as starter De'Von Achane remains healthy, Mostert has no standalone fantasy appeal on game days. He's averaging a career-low 3.6 yards per carry and has 10 carries for 22 yards in the last four contests.
From RotoBaller
Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill (rest, wrist) was a non-participant for the team's first practice of the week on Wednesday. Hill has been battling a wrist injury for the majority of the season and has been rested in recent weeks on Wednesday before eventually suiting up on Sunday. Fantasy managers shouldn't be very worried at all that the 30-year-old speedster won't play in Week 14 against the division-rival New York Jets. He was able to play 80 percent of the offensive snaps in last Thursday night's loss to the Green Bay Packers and had six catches 83 yards and a touchdown. Although the Cheetah has just one 100-yard game (back in Week 1) and hasn't lived up to his lofty expectations in 2024, he's seen his production increase since the return of quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and has three TDs in the last four games. Hill is a must-start against the Jets this Sunday.
From RotoBaller
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Elijah Moore (shoulder) was listed as a limited practice participant on Wednesday. Moore was also listed on the Week 12 injury report but played through it and wasn't on the injury report last week before going off for a season-high 111 receiving yards on a season-high 14 targets in Monday night's loss to the Denver Broncos. The 24-year-old's shoulder injury shouldn't keep him from suiting up this Sunday to face the division-rival Pittsburgh Steelers. In the first meeting with Pittsburgh just two weeks ago, Moore only had three catches on five targets for 21 yards. It's notable that his big performance on Monday came with Cedric Tillman (concussion) out. Moore has only one touchdown on the year and has limited upside in fantasy, although he's been much more attractive with quarterback Jameis Winston running Cleveland's offense.
From RotoBaller
Despite New York Jets running back Breece Hall (knee) missing the first practice of the week on Wednesday, interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich sounded optimistic about Hall's availability for Sunday's Week 14 contest against the division-rival Miami Dolphins. Hall was listed as questionable for the Week 13 loss to the Seattle Seahawks but ended up playing through his knee injury while playing a season-low 62% of the offensive snaps. It sounds as though the Jets' lead back is on a similar trajectory this week, which shouldn't have fantasy managers thrilled. If Hall has his snaps limited for a second straight week, he could very well disappoint his managers yet again against Miami. The 23-year-old back is the RB12 in half-PPR fantasy points, but fantasy managers that drafted him midway through the first round this year were expecting more. If he plays, he'll be on the RB1/2 borderline against Miami.
From RotoBaller
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans (calf, hamstring) was held out of the first practice of the week on Wednesday with both calf and hamstring injuries. A right-hamstring injury kept Evans sidelined from Weeks 8-10, but he's now also listed with a calf ailment. The 31-year-old still has two days left to get back on the practice field, but for now we will be closely monitoring his status as the team prepares to battle the visiting Las Vegas Raiders this Sunday in Week 14. If Evans is seriously in danger of missing this weekend, Sterling Shepard, rookie Jalen McMillan and Trey Palmer would likely operate as the team's three starting wideouts. Tight end Cade Otton was a fantasy beast in the weeks that Evans was sidelined with his hamstring injury, so he'd most likely benefit the most if Evans misses another game. Evans is a must-start fantasy wideout if he's active, especially against Vegas.
From RotoBaller
Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs (calf) was limited in practice all week but was removed from Wednesday's final injury report and will be available in Week 14 to face the division-rival Lions on the road in Detroit on Thursday night. Jacobs has dealt with a nagging calf injury this year but hasn't missed any time because of it, and the Packers were likely just giving him some extra rest late in the season during light practices this week. The matchup against Detroit's defense on the road isn't ideal for any RB, but Jacobs has been a must-start RB1 in fantasy in his first year in Green Bay, and the Lions will be missing three defensive linemen due to injury this week. In his last five games, Jacobs has been a volume king, averaging 22.4 touches, 118 yards and just over a touchdown per game. In the first meeting against Detroit, he also had 16 touches for 97 scrimmage yards.
From RotoBaller
Detroit Lions left tackle Taylor Decker (knee) did not practice all week and has officially been ruled out for the Thursday night contest against the division-rival Green Bay Packers. In addition to Decker, the Lions will also be without defensive linemen Levi Onwuzurike (hamstring), Joshua Paschal (knee) and D.J. Reader (shoulder) in Week 14. This will be Decker's second straight missed game after also sitting out last Thursday's Thanksgiving Day win over the division-rival Chicago Bears. It's not great news for Detroit's juggernaut offense, but the news shouldn't make fantasy managers any less confident in starting quarterback Jared Goff in this matchup, even though he only threw for 145 yards and one touchdown in the first meeting against the Packers at Lambeau Field on Nov. 3. Hopefully Detroit will get Decker back in Week 15 against the Buffalo Bills.
From RotoBaller
Tampa Bay Buccaneers rookie running back Bucky Irving (hip/back) did not participate during Wednesday's walk-through practice, according to Brianna Dix. The rookie standout sustained these injuries during last weekend's victory over the Carolina Panthers. While Irving did return to the game after the injuries, fantasy managers should continue to pay close attention to his status throughout the week. In this game, Irving posted a career-high 152 yards with a score and an additional 34 yards through the air. Over the past three weeks, Irving has begun to separate himself from No.2 option Rachaad White, as he has seen double-digit attempts and at least three targets in each contest. In addition, during this stretch, the Oregon product has averaged a strong 104.3 rushing yards per game. If Irving is good to go this weekend, he should be viewed as an RB1 facing the Las Vegas Raiders.
From RotoBaller
According to Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network, the Jacksonville Jaguars have claimed wide receiver Josh Reynolds. Reynolds was placed on the waivers by the Denver Broncos. The 29-year-old played in just the first five games of the regular season before suffering a finger fracture. During this stretch, Reynolds averaged 36.6 yards per game with 7.4 PPR points per game. With Jacksonville, fantasy managers should expect Reynolds to operate in a starting role, as several wideouts on that roster are on the injured reserve. While Brian Thomas Jr. will continue to see most of the opportunities alongside tight end Evan Engram, Reynolds is someone to monitor in deeper 3WR formats as he could carve out a viable role down the stretch.
From RotoBaller
According to Calvin Watkins of the Dallas News, Dallas Cowboys wide receivers CeeDee Lamb (shoulder) and Brandin Cooks (knee) were not seen at practice on Wednesday. Fantasy managers should pay close attention to their initial status on the practice report on Thursday, as the Cowboys do not play until Monday evening. Lamb aggravated a previous shoulder injury during their Week 13 victory over the New York Giants, while Cooks returned from his seven-game absence this past weekend. Fantasy managers should not be overly concerned if both wideouts remain limited participants during the initial practice sessions of the week. Lamb should be viewed as a top-12 option on Monday evening, and Cooks as a lower-end flex facing a weak Cincinnati secondary.
From RotoBaller
San Francisco 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa (oblique) and offensive tackle Trent Williams (ankle) will not practice on Wednesday, according to Nick Wagoner of ESPN. Bosa has been sidelined over the past two weeks and is already trending down heading into Week 14. Williams has also missed the previous two games. Before the injury, Bosa was on pace to enjoy another strong season as he tallied 36 tackles, seven sacks, and an interception while Williams operated as the left tackle. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor their status during the week as both are impact players. If Bosa sits out, fantasy managers should expect Sam Okuayinonu to continue to see an uptick in snaps while Colton McKivitz serves as the No.1 left tackle.
From RotoBaller
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence (concussion) was placed on the injured reserve. While Lawrence could return for their final game of the season in Week 18, fantasy managers should not plan on him suiting up as the Jaguars are far from playoff contention and may opt to rest their franchise quarterback. Lawrence sustained this concussion last weekend during their loss to the Houston Texans. Fantasy managers should expect former first-round selection Mac Jones to serve as the QB1 for the remaining five games, with C.J. Beathard serving as the backup. Jones received two starts earlier this season and averaged 124.5 passing yards per game with a 0:3 TD:INT ratio. Jones should only be viewed as a desperation QB2 in deep Superflex formats.
From RotoBaller
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, San Francisco 49ers running back Patrick Taylor Jr. was elevated from the practice squad to the active roster. Taylor will likely slot in as the No.2/No.3 option alongside Israel Abanikanda, while rookie Isaac Guerendo operates as the lead option. This move occurred as Christian McCaffrey (knee) and Jordan Mason (ankle) were both placed on the injured reserve on Monday following their loss to the Buffalo Bills. Taylor spent his first three seasons with the Green Bay Packers serving as a depth option, averaging a solid 4.0 yards per carry. Fantasy managers in deeper formats should monitor who operates as the No.2 option behind Guerendo, as they could be a viable stash option during the fantasy playoffs.
From RotoBaller
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs (concussion) was ruled out for Thursday's game as he has yet to clear concussion protocol. The 24-year-old remained a limited participant in practice this week and will set his sights on returning in Week 15 to face the Seattle Seahawks. Doubs sustained this concussion during their Week 12 victory over the San Francisco 49ers. Before the injury, Doubs averaged 52.3 yards per game with 10.9 PPR points per game during Weeks 6 through 12. Fantasy managers should expect Doubs to return to his typical starting role when he returns to action. While sidelined, Dontayvion Wicks should continue to see an increase in snaps and could be worth a look as a risky flex option in DFS formats on Thursday evening, facing a Detroit secondary that has allowed the third-most PPR points to opposing wideouts.
From RotoBaller
Tennessee Titans head coach Brian Callahan said that wide receiver Treylon Burks (knee) had surgery on his torn ACL and will miss the rest of the season. Burks has been a bust for the Titans since they selected him 18th overall in 2022 out of Arkansas. The 24-year-old has played in only 27 games (17 starts) in his first three seasons in the NFL and has caught 53 passes on 92 targets for 699 yards and only one touchdown. He had been on Injured Reserve since Oct. 19. Burks wasn't exactly dealing with a full tear of his ACL, so perhaps he will be in play to start the 2025 regular season on time for the Titans. In just five games played in 2024 before his injury, Burks was well off the fantasy radar and had just four receptions for 34 yards and no touchdowns on eight targets. The Titans will continue to use Calvin Ridley, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine and Tyler Boyd in three-wide sets.
From RotoBaller
The Cincinnati Bengals placed kicker Evan McPherson (groin) on Injured Reserve on Wednesday. It was announced earlier on Wednesday that McPherson would miss some time due to his injury, and now he won't be eligible to return until the Week 18 regular-season finale against the division-rival Pittsburgh Steelers. With fantasy championship matchups in most leagues coming in Week 17, managers with McPherson on their rosters in redraft leagues can let him go. The Browns worked out and signed former Washington Commanders and Cleveland Browns kicker Cade York on Wednesday, and he will be their kicker in Week 14 on Monday night against the Dallas Cowboys. Like the Bengals in 2024, the 25-year-old McPherson was a fantasy disappointment in 12 game, going 16-for-22 on field-goal tries while missing just one of his 38 extra points.
From RotoBaller
Los Angeles Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh said he expects rookie wide receiver Ladd McConkey (knee) to practice on Wednesday. This is certainly excellent news for fantasy managers after a report surfaced earlier on Wednesday that McConkey's status for Week 14 on Sunday night against the division-rival Kansas City Chiefs was in question after he injured his knee late in Sunday's win over the Atlanta Falcons. Before injuring his knee in Week 13, the 23-year-old second-round wideout was LA's offense, going for nine catches on 12 targets for 117 yards on the day. The fact that the Georgia product is set to practice on Wednesday is a great sign, but we'll keep a close eye on his status the rest of the week. If McConkey is active on Sunday evening, he'll be a must-start for fantasy managers as quarterback Justin Herbert's go-to target through the air.
From RotoBaller
New York Jets wide receiver Davante Adams said he's open to returning to the team next season, although there are many factors out of his control, including contract issues and quarterback Aaron Rodgers' future. Adams also said he has no regrets about joining the Jets this year and he's enjoyed his experience, even though the team hasn't been able to turn their season around. If Rodgers isn't back in New York, which isn't expected, it's unlikely the 31-year-old All-Pro wideout will be. The six-time Pro Bowler only played in three games with the Las Vegas Raiders this year before forcing his way out of town to reunite with his buddy Rodgers after working with him in Green Bay earlier in his career. In six games with Gang Green, Adams has caught 31 of 58 targets for 344 yards and two touchdowns. He's still an every-week starter, but sharing valuable targets with Garrett Wilson caps his fantasy upside.
From RotoBaller
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Cedric Tillman (concussion) remained sidelined for the first practice of the week on Wednesday. Tillman suffered a concussion in the Thursday night win over the division-rival Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 12 and wasn't able to clear the league's concussion protocol in time to face the Denver Broncos on Monday night in Week 13. With a DNP to kick off Week 14 preparation, the 24-year-old could miss a second straight game this Sunday versus the Steelers. When healthy, the second-year pass-catcher has become intriguing as a WR4/flex in fantasy leagues now that quarterback Jameis Winston has given this offense a spark since the season-ending injury to Deshaun Watson (Achilles). In Monday night's loss to Denver, Jerry Jeudy had over 200 yards, Elijah Moore went over 100 yards, and tight end David Njoku scored twice with Tillman out.
From RotoBaller
The Baltimore Ravens are suspending wide receiver Diontae Johnson for one game without pay for conduct detrimental to the team, according to sources. It means that Johnson will not be available to play when the team returns from their bye to take on the New York Giants in Week 15. Johnson was acquired by the Ravens from the Carolina Panthers on the cheap at the trade deadline, but the 28-year-old has been non-existent on offense in Baltimore and likely voiced his frustration with his lack of a role. In five games with the Ravens, Johnson has one reception on five targets for six yards. He didn't play a single snap on offense in the Week 13 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles and is now in the dog house. Fantasy managers should have sent Johnson to the waiver wire a bit ago, but this suspension is essentially rock bottom for his value in 2024.
