Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Bucky Irving (toe) has been cleared to play ahead of the Week 10 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers. Irving has been playing through a toe issue lately, but it doesn't seem to be something that is going to impact his performance. He rushed seven times for 24 yards while hauling in all three of his targets for 10 yards during last week's loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. The Bucs continue to use a committee approach in the backfield which is mainly Rachaad White and Irving. Neither of them are great fantasy options, but both are on the flex radar for Week 10.
From RotoBaller
Detroit Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams returns from a two-game PED suspension just in time for a Week 10 matchup against the Houston Texans on Sunday Night Football. Known for his boom-or-bust production, Williams has delivered some big games this season (16, 17.7, and 24.4 PPR points) but also has two outings under two points, which has frustrated fantasy managers. Despite his elite speed and role in Detroit's high-powered offense, Williams' target volume has dipped significantly since Week 2. With six deep targets and five red zone looks over six games, Williams still offers a high ceiling in deeper leagues, especially with a modest WR3/FLEX designation in 12-team formats. Facing a Texans defense that has given fits to some receiving corps, Williams may still have enticing upside in smaller leagues
From RotoBaller
Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jaylen Warren has slowly been seeing more utilization within the team's offense and will return from a bye to take on the 7-2 Washington Commanders in Week 10. While the Commanders have fared well against pass-catching backs, they surrender the most yards per carry to the position in the NFL. Warren earned three targets in both of his appearances with Russell Wilson under center and should continue to get opportunities through the air as well as on the ground. Although backfield mate Najee Harris has much more touchdown upside than Warren, the latter could still find success in this contest. He is not a dependable starting option but Warren can be viewed as a possible flex play on Sunday.
From RotoBaller
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Sterling Shepard (hamstring, hip) has been cleared to play ahead of the Week 10 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers. Shepard was only able to practice once this week, but it was good enough to get removed from the injury report ahead of this game. Last week, Shepard hauled in four of his five targets for 48 yards in the loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. The Bucs are still banged up at wideout, so Shepard figures to remain a top passing option. That being said, Shepard will slide onto the flex radar ahead of this Week 10 showdown.
From RotoBaller
The Dallas Cowboys plan on star defensive end Micah Parsons (ankle) returning to action this weekend, but defensive backs Trevon Diggs (calf) and DaRon Bland (foot) have been ruled questionable and out, respectively. Parsons has been out of the team's lineup since their Week 4 win over the New York Giants, and although he's questionable -- the team expects to have him. On the other hand, Diggs opened the week with back-to-back limited sessions but was downgraded to a non-participant on Friday, so it would appear he's on the wrong side of his designation -- trending toward not playing. Bland has yet to appear in a game this season and has not practiced since the team activated his window on Oct. 30 as he works his way back from a stress fracture in his foot. While Parsons may return, Dallas could be in danger of their defense being severely short-staffed.
From RotoBaller
Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver George Pickens has flashed massive potential with Russell Wilson at quarterback and will look to make the most of his opportunities in a Week 10 clash with the Washington Commanders. Pittsburgh traded for veteran wideout Mike Williams earlier this week, which could prove to be beneficial for Pickens' fantasy output. At this point in his career, Williams is not expected to earn a significant target share, but he should be able to draw some attention away from Pickens. While Washington has not surrendered a ton of passing yards this season, it is tied for the fifth-most touchdowns given up to receivers through nine weeks. Fantasy managers should continue to feel comfortable deploying Pickens as a WR2 with plenty of upside on Sunday.
From RotoBaller
Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Rachaad White was able to salvage his fantasy value with a trip to the end zone last week. White only saw three rushing attempts for 19 yards and a score during last week's loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. He also hauled in three receptions for an extra 16 yards through the air. It was an extremely quiet night for White outside of the touchdown. The Bucs have gone to a committee approach at running back, which has meant less rushing attempts for White. Lately, White has been able to save his value in the receiving game, but fantasy managers can't always count on that. Fantasy managers should consider White a flex option for the upcoming Week 10 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers.
From RotoBaller
The Philadelphia Eagles defense will take on the Cooper Rush-led Dallas Cowboys in Week 10. Starting quarterback Dak Prescott (hamstring) landed on IR this week after suffering the injury last week in a loss to the Atlanta Falcons. With no Prescott, star receiver CeeDee Lamb (shoulder) planning to play through injury, and a slew of injuries on defense, the Cowboys are struggling to say the least. Philadelphia's defense on the other hand has been improving over the past month and now gets to play against a backup quarterback they are familiar with. The fantasy scoring floor for the Eagles' defense is low, but if the hold Dallas to a low point total and can generate a turnover or two, it should be a good fantasy outing for Philly and fantasy managers looking for a spot start.
From RotoBaller
New York Jets linebacker C.J. Mosley (neck) has been ruled inactive for Week 10's outing against the Arizona Cardinals. Mosley has been working through a neck ailment that's kept him out of the lineup since New York fell 37-15 to the Pittsburgh Steelers back in Week 7. It's of little surprise that he'll miss another game after stringing together three DNPs leading up to this Sunday. With fellow linebacker Chazz Surratt (heel) deemed questionable for the contest after a week of limited sessions, teammate Sam Eguavoen figures to handle most of the duties for the team. He recorded three tackles on 20 snaps in last weekend's win over the Houston Texans.
From RotoBaller
Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield (toe) is good to go ahead of the Week 10 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers. Mayfield missed the first two days of practice this week, but has now been removed from the injury report. The expectation is that Mayfield's performance would take a significant hit without his two top wide receivers. Instead, Mayfield has thrown five touchdowns with over 500 passing yards in those two contests. The 49ers secondary is no easy challenge, but Mayfield is not someone to bet against this season. Fantasy managers can continue plugging him in as a QB1 until he gives us reason not to.
From RotoBaller
Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris was the fantasy RB7 from Weeks 6-8 and will return from a bye to face the Washington Commanders in Week 10. The Commanders have been a middle-of-the-pack matchup for fantasy backs this season, but their strongest aspect has been limiting production in the passing game. Washington surrenders the most yards per carry to running backs in the NFL. While Harris occasionally contributes through the air, the vast majority of his work comes on the ground. He'll have plenty of opportunities on Sunday as the Steelers run the ball at the second-highest rate in the league. Harris should be started in most formats and projects as a solid RB2 on Sunday.
From RotoBaller
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Jahan Dotson will face off against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 10. The 24-year-old saw a few more snaps than usual last week after A.J. Brown went out with a knee injury, but only managed to have one target, which he caught for a 36-yard gain. Brown and DeVonta Smith managed injuries in practice this week, but both were a full go on Friday and were left off of the final injury report. The matchup should not scare you, but Dallas is middle of the pack against opposing wide receivers in fantasy points allowed and Dotson is not seeing enough target involvement to warrant starting. His role could increase if Brown or Smith miss time, but unless that happens, Dotson is better left on benches in all formats.
From RotoBaller
Detroit Lions tight end Sam LaPorta heads into Week 10 with a challenging matchup against a Houston Texans defense that has been particularly tough on tight ends. While LaPorta's route share and target involvement have increased recentlypossibly due to Jameson Williams' suspension (PED violation)this isn't the ideal week for a breakout. Houston's defense has allowed the fewest fantasy points, yards per reception, and total receiving yards per game to tight ends, and they're second-lowest in yards per pass attempt. After a strong rookie season, LaPorta's production has tapered off in 2024, with fewer catches, yards, and touchdowns on pace compared to last year. He has exceeded 50 receiving yards only twice this season and has topped two receptions in just three of eight games. With all said, LaPorta profiles as a lower-end TE option in Week 10.
From RotoBaller
New York Jets tight end Tyler Conklin (ankle) is officially questionable for his team's road matchup against the Arizona Cardinals this Sunday. The 29-year-old popped up on Friday's practice report with an ankle issue but could still log a full session. The practice participation is encouraging, but a late-week add to the report is mildly concerning regarding his status for Sunday. Conklin had some nice production earlier in the season but has been mostly an afterthought with the team's addition of star wideout Davante Adams to the offense. If the seventh-year veteran can't suit up, teammate Jeremy Ruckert projects to slot into the lead TE spot, with Kenny Yeboah rotating in to give him a breather. If he can, he'd be tough to trust as a viable option -- sitting at RotoBaller's PPR TE22 for this weekend's slate of games.
From RotoBaller
Philadelphia Eagles kicker Jake Elliott will face off against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 10. The 29-year-old had a rough outing last week, missing one of two field goal attempts and only needing to convert one extra point with head coach Nick Sirianni constantly going for two. The aggressive nature of the Eagles' offense is a double-edged sword for Elliott, making him incredibly inconsistent for fantasy managers. Dallas is struggling on defense at the moment and could be allowing even more points to Philadelphia now that they are at full strength. The veteran kicker is a streamer because of the matchup, but he is boom or bust.
From RotoBaller
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts will take on the Dallas Cowboys in Week 10. There was some concern that the 26-year-old was dealing with a surprise ankle injury after head coach Nick Sirianni let it slip that his missed practice on Wednesday was more than rest, but Hurts was left off of the final injury report and is a full go for Sunday's divisional matchup against the Cowboys. A.J. Brown (knee) and DeVonta Smith (hamstring) were a concern heading into the weekend, but both were full participants Friday and carry no injury designation. Dallas is reeling at the moment, with multiple injuries on offense and defense. Their defense could be getting Micah Parsons (ankle) back, but the team allows the fifth-most fantasy points per game to quarterbacks. With all his weapons at full health, Hurts is a smash start in Week 10.
From RotoBaller
Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown will have to earn his output in Week 10 against a Houston Texans defense that has been generally strong this season. St. Brown continued his efficiency last week, catching all seven targets for 56 yards and a touchdown, marking his sixth consecutive game with a score. As one of the steadiest WRs in the league, he ranks as a Top-12 fantasy option at receiver this season across scoring formats. Though his volume may be slightly lower than some top WRs, his reliability and scoring streak make him a must-start WR1 in Week 10.
From RotoBaller
Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley will face off against the division-rival Dallas Cowboys in Week 10. The 27-year-old has dealt with some back soreness this past week and has been given some rest during practice, but he is not on the final injury report and is a full go for Sunday. The matchup can not get much better. Dallas is missing pieces on both sides of the ball and is currently allowing the third-most fantasy points per game to running backs. After gaining nearly 200 total yards last week against Jacksonville, Barkley is in line for another strong performance against a struggling Cowboys defense.
From RotoBaller
Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs remains a strong fantasy option heading into Week 10, despite a challenging matchup against the Houston Texan's top-five run defense. Though his volume is considerably less than most RB1s, Gibbs has been one of the league's most efficient backs all year long. Though he shares the backfield with David Montgomery, Gibbs' explosive play style has led to consistent scoring, including five games with a touchdown and two multi-touchdown performances. The Texans allow an average of just 14 fantasy points per week to running backs, but the Lions will look to establish their dual-front offensive attack as early as possible. Fantasy managers should have no problem leaning on Gibbs' big-play potential as an RB1 until proven otherwise.
From RotoBaller
Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson is 2-0 with four total touchdowns and no interceptions as a starter this season. He'll face what could be his toughest challenge yet in keeping up with the Washington Commanders in Week 10. The Commanders are among the highest-scoring offenses in the league while limiting opposing teams to the fifth-fewest passing yards per contest. Still, Washington has given up a fair amount of passing touchdowns, so Wilson could certainly find success on Sunday. Pittsburgh added veteran wide receiver Mike Williams ahead of the NFL trade deadline to give Wilson another weapon and hopefully improve the team's aerial attack. Although the 35-year-old shouldn't be trusted in single-quarterback formats, Wilson projects as a fine QB2 option in superflex leagues this week.
