Houston Texans wide receiver Robert Woods could suddenly be his team's top receiving option in Week 10 against the Detroit Lions. Houston wide receiver Stefon Diggs (knee) is already out for the season, while Nico Collins (hamstring) is questionable after being activated from injured reserve. Tank Dell (back) popped up on the final injury report and is also questionable, which could leave Woods as the team's most trusted receiver. Woods' role will be hard to predict based on the status of the other receivers, making him highly risky to play, but he could be worth the stash in deep formats.
From RotoBaller
Tennessee Titans running back Tyjae Spears (hamstring) will return in Week 10 to face the Los Angeles Chargers. The second-year back out of Tulane has missed the last three games due a hamstring injury, but practiced in full on Thursday and Friday and has no designation heading into the weekend. With his limited involvement pre-injury, starting Spears against a defense that is top-10 across the board in rushing defensive metrics is not advisable. Especially with Will Levis taking over the offense yet again, which is likely to have a negative impact on all skill position players for Tennessee, Spears is not a great start in any leagues this week.
From RotoBaller
Indianapolis Colts quarterback Joe Flacco started in place of the struggling Anthony Richardson in Week 9 versus the Vikings, but the veteran QB was unable to get the offense going, completing 16 of 27 passes for 179 yards, no touchdowns, one interception, and a fumble. Finding success in Week 10 could be just as much of an uphill battle, as the Colts take on a tough Buffalo pass defense and Flacco will be down one of his weapons with Michael Pittman Jr. set to miss the game. While Buffalo has been tough on quarterbacks, allowing the sixth-fewest fantasy points to opposing signal-callers, their rush defense has been gashed for the second-most fantasy points to opposing running backs. With former Pro Bowl running back Jonathan Taylor in tow, it's all the more reason to lean on the run game. That leaves Flacco as a low-end QB2 in Week 10.
From RotoBaller
Tennessee Titans running back Tony Pollard will take on the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 10 of the NFL season. The Titans RB1 missed some practice this week with a foot injury but was removed from the final report and is good to go against LA. He's been one of more reliable RB2s on the season, albeit with a capped ceiling, not having topped more than 18 half-PPR points yet this year. The matchups haven't dictated the outcome of Pollard's success for the most part, although he did gash the soft Patriots run-defense last week for a season-high 128 rushing yards after receiving 31 opportunities. Tyjae Spears (hamstring) will return this week after missing the past three games which will decrease the workload for Pollard, but he still remains a safe floor play against the Chargers stout rush defense. Expect another 10-15 point half-PPR outing for the former Cowboy.
From RotoBaller
Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud should be considered a QB2 in a risky matchup Sunday against the Detroit Lions. Detroit's defense ranks eighth against fantasy quarterbacks and is tied for first in hurries, bad news for a Texans offensive line that allowed eight sacks last week. Additionally, wide receivers Nico Collins (hamstring) and Tank Dell (back) are both questionable, so Stroud could be relying on the likes of Xavier Hutchinson and Robert Woods. The Sunday night kick time also offers little room for error, so managers in one-QB formats should start exploring their options.
From RotoBaller
Minnesota Vikings kicker John Parker Romo will make his season debut this Sunday when Minnesota travels to EverBank Stadium to square off against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Vikings placed rookie kicker Will Reichard (quad) on injured reserve earlier this week after missing his first two career attempts in Week 9's 21-13 victory over the Indianapolis Colts. Romo -- who spent the offseason with Minnesota -- was signed by the team this past Tuesday and is now primed to take over kicking duties, with Reichard set to miss at least four contests. The 27-year-old spent 2023 in the XFL, drilling 17-of-19 field goal attempts for the San Antonio Brahmas. Still, he won't be a viable fantasy option until he proves his salt on an NFL field. Romo is RotoBaller's K19 in this week's ranks.
From RotoBaller
Minnesota Vikings tight end T.J. Hockenson gets a juicy matchup this weekend when his team takes on the Jacksonville Jaguars in a road matchup. The Iowa product returned to action last weekend for the first time since injuring his ACL a season ago to put up 27 yards on 3-of-4 receiving in the Vikings' win over the Indianapolis Colts. Hockenson played eight fewer snaps than teammate Josh Oliver (41), who had a strong outing of his own (5/58/1). However, it's excellent news that the 27-year-old came away from the outing without a setback, and his snap counts and usage are likely to rise over the coming weeks as he gets more acclimated to action. Still, fantasy managers may want to give him another week before slotting the veteran into their lineups if they have a better option -- despite the fantastic matchup. He's RotoBaller's TE13 in PPR formats in this week's rankings.
From RotoBaller
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jalen Nailor will line up against the Jacksonville Jaguars this coming Sunday. The third-year wideout had a few helpful fantasy performances earlier this season but has largely been an afterthought in the Vikings' offense in recent weeks. With the return of tight end T.J. Hockenson, Nailor is likely the fourth or fifth option in Minnesota's passing attack, with fellow WRs Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison, and running back Aaron Jones all pacing him in target thus far. Even in an excellent matchup against the Jaguars defense, the 25-year-old is little more than a touchdown-dependent desperation play this Sunday. Nailor ranks as RotoBaller's PPR WR61 ahead of this weekend.
From RotoBaller
The Buffalo Bills are ranked as a top-10 fantasy football defense for their matchup against the Indianapolis Colts. Colts quarterback Joe Flacco has committed a turnover in each of his three starts and the team averages under 21 points per game this season. They'll also be without one of their top weapons in wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. (back/finger). The Bills DST is 10th in average fantasy points per game and worthy of a start in all leagues this weekend.
From RotoBaller
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown (knee) is off the injury report and good to go for Sunday's divisional battle against the Dallas Cowboys. Brown left last weekend's game early with a knee injury and logged a limited practice session on Wednesday. However, he was then upgraded to full participation on Thursday and remained in the same status on Friday. During Weeks 6 through 8, Brown found the back of the end zone twice and averaged an impressive 96.3 yards and 19.0 PPR points per game during this stretch. Fantasy managers should lock the former Ole Miss product into their lineups as a high-end WR1 this weekend facing a Dallas defense who has allowed the 16th-most PPR points to opposing wideouts this season.
From RotoBaller
Houston Texans tight end Dalton Schultz should be considered a TE2 in Week 10 with a difficult matchup on Sunday against the Detroit Lions. Detroit ranks No. 1 against fantasy tight ends going into this week, and the former Dallas Cowboy hasn't exactly been lighting it up this season anyway. Through nine games, the veteran tight end has zero top-15 finishes at his position and has not caught a regular-season touchdown since Week 11 of 2023. But due to his high snap count and injuries to Houston's receivers, he's still playable as a bye-week fill-in or in formats that play more than one tight end.
From RotoBaller
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison will face off against the Jacksonville Jaguars this Sunday in Week 10. It's been a bit of a sophomore slump for Addison this season, as he is averaging just over three catches and 45.5 yards per game with two touchdowns in six contests. He had a nice outing last weekend, reeling in all five of his targets for 42 yards and a touchdown against a porous Colts defense. He may do so again in another intriguing matchup against a lowly Jaguars defensive unit that's given up the third-most fantasy points to wide receivers in 2024. Still, as the matchup does not project to be a shootout with quarterback Trevor Lawrence (shoulder) trending in the wrong direction, fantasy managers could be disappointed with Addison's performance if he doesn't hit pay dirt. The 22-year-old is RotoBaller's PPR WR33 heading into Week 10.
From RotoBaller
The 7-1 Detroit Lions present a challenge for the Houston Texans in Week 10, but Texans running back Joe Mixon has been so effective that he should still be considered an RB1 candidate. The veteran has gone for 100-plus yards and a touchdown four weeks in a row, and he now ranks 15th among fantasy running backs in PPR formats despite missing three entire games and half of another. Detroit ranks fifth against fantasy running backs, but Mixon is drawing so much opportunity in the Houston offense that he still belongs in starting lineups despite the tough draw.
From RotoBaller
Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert (hamstring) is off the injury report and expected to return to action in Week 10 to face the Dallas Cowboys. Goedert has been sidelined since sustaining a hamstring injury in the opening quarter during their Week 6 tilt against the Cleveland Browns. In his absence, Grant Calcaterra has been deployed as the No.1 tight end. Before the injury, Goedert averaged an impressive 75.3 yards and 13.5 PPR points per game throughout the first four weeks. Fantasy managers should feel confident inserting Goedert back into their lineup as a safe TE1.
From RotoBaller
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson gets another enticing matchup this Sunday when his team takes on the Jacksonville Jaguars in a road tilt. The 25-year-old superstar is averaging 97.9 receiving yards per contest in 2024 and stands an excellent chance to match or surpass that total against a woeful Jaguars pass defense. Jacksonville is the second-worst team against the pass on a per-play basis, letting up 7.3 yards per attempt to their opponents. Additionally, they've allowed 19 touchdowns through the air while intercepting just two passes on the season. The former LSU Tiger is again an elite WR option and should challenge as the WR1 overall on the week. He's RotoBaller's top PPR play at the position in Week 10.
From RotoBaller
Houston Texans wide receiver Tank Dell (back) was added to the injury report on Friday and is now listed as questionable for Sunday's game according to Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network. This is not a positive sign for his status for this weekend's game as the sophomore wideout practiced in full earlier in the week. Fantasy managers should pay close attention to his status over the weekend as he may end up being a game-time decision. The Texans are also listing top wideout Nico Collins (hamstring) as questionable as well. If both wideouts are unable to play, fantasy managers should look to find an alternative option over quarterback C.J. Stroud. Last week, Dell enjoyed his best outing of the season as he brought in a season-high 126 yards and should be viewed as a solid WR2 if he is able to play.
From RotoBaller
Minnesota Vikings running back Aaron Jones is set to square off against the Jacksonville Jaguars this Sunday in Week 10. The long-time Packer has been excellent during his first stint in Vikings Purple, piling up 810 yards from scrimmage through the team's first eight games. The only stat lacking is his touchdowns, as he has just three on the season. While Jacksonville has been solid against their opponents in the rushing department (4.4 YPC), they're tied for the second-most receptions allowed to the running back position (55). The 29-year-old has seen his yards per carry wane over the last two contests, so it might be tough sledding for him again. However, his work in the passing game should continue to keep his fantasy floor high. He ranks as RotoBaller's PPR RB11 ahead of Week 10's slate.
From RotoBaller
Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Sunday's tilt against the Detroit Lions. Collins has been on the injured reserve since Week 5 but was designated to return to practice earlier on Friday. During the practice session, Collins participated in a limited capacity. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status over the weekend as he may be a game-time decision on Sunday evening. Before sustaining the hamstring injury, Collins was enjoying a fantastic start to his season as he averaged a stellar 21.3 PPR points in each game across the first five weeks. During this span, Collins saw nine targets per game and tallied an impressive 113.4 yards per game. If Collins suits up, fantasy managers should lock him into their lineups as a high-end WR1.
From RotoBaller
Despite his appearance on the injury report, Buffalo Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid (knee) is one of the team's healthy receiving options entering Week 10. He's practiced in full every day this week and has no injury designation this weekend. The same can't be said for Amari Cooper (wrist), Keon Coleman (wrist), and Curtis Samuel (pectoral). Coleman has been ruled out, while the other two are questionable. Kincaid saw a season-high in targets (10) with Cooper out of the lineup last week and could also see more usage against the Colts. Unfortunately, he's securing under 60% of targets thrown in his direction. With an easier matchup (Indianapolis allows the third-most fantasy points to tight ends), Kincaid may convert more opportunities. He's a low-end TE1 this week.
From RotoBaller
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb (shoulder) is off the injury report and expected to play on Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. Lamb sustained this shoulder injury last weekend during their loss to the Atlanta Falcons and logged two limited practice sessions on Wednesday and Thursday before upgrading to full participation on Friday. This season, Lamb has continued to operate as the clear No.1 option in the Dallas offense and has averaged 18.5 PPR points with 82.5 yards per game. Even though Lamb will not be catching passes from Dak Prescott (hamstring) for the time being, Lamb should still be locked into all fantasy lineups as a high-end wide receiver.
