Jaylen Waddle Oct 27 7:20pm CT
    Jaylen Waddle

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle caught four of six targets for 45 yards in Sunday's 28-27 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. With quarterback Tua Tagovailoa's (concussion) return, Waddle came into this game with WR2 expectations and did not deliver. The good news is that the offense looked exponentially better than the previous four weeks, scoring their highest total of the season. Waddle has yet to find the end zone and hasn't topped 50 yards since Week 1. However, better days are ahead for Waddle, with Miami's schedule presenting several favorable offensive matchups. Next week's matchup against the Buffalo Bills will be one of their toughest tests in the back half of the 2024 season.

Courtland Sutton Oct 27 7:20pm CT
    Courtland Sutton

Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton reeled in 8-of-11 targets for 100 yards in Week 8's 28-14 domination of the Carolina Panthers. He added 28 passing yards on his only attempt and lost a fumble in the outing. It was an excellent bounce-back effort for the 29-year-old after posting a goose egg in last week's win over the New Orleans Saints. It's the first time this season that the seventh-year veteran posted a 100-yard performance and the third time he's garnered double-digit targets. His eight receptions were a new season high. Sutton's production has greatly varied through eight games, putting up useful fantasy totals half the time while the other half not so much. Still, he's the clear No. 1 option in Denver's passing attack. He and the Broncos will square off against the Baltimore Ravens next Sunday in a much tougher matchup.

Mason Rudolph Oct 27 7:20pm CT
    Mason Rudolph

Tennessee Titans quarterback Mason Rudolph completed 22-of-38 passes for 266 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions in a 51-14 loss at Detroit on Sunday. He also tacked on 29 rushing yards and another score on the ground. It was a great fantasy output for Rudolph who finished the day with 19.54 points in standard scoring leagues, accounting for three total scores on the afternoon. Rudolph looked more comfortable operating this Tennessee offense which looked slightly more competent than last week but still struggled mightily to keep up the Detroit Lions high octane attack. The former Steelers backup is still not a trustworthy option even in 2QB leagues, and will remain that way next week at home against the Patriots.

Javonte Williams Oct 27 7:10pm CT
    Javonte Williams

Denver Broncos running back Javonte Williams rushed 17 times for 44 yards in the team's 28-14 victory over the Carolina Panthers. The fourth-year back added eight yards through the air on 4-of-4 receiving. It's a massive letdown for fantasy managers, as Denver controlled most of this game. However, rookie quarterback Bo Nix stole the show -- totaling four TDs (three passing, one rushing) in the lopsided affair. Still, it's a disappointing outing, as Carolina was one of the worst rush defenses in the league heading into the contest. More so, considering teammate Jaleel McLaughlin totaled three more yards on nine fewer carries. Better days are ahead for the former North Carolina Tarheel, though next week may not be one of them. Williams and the Broncos will square off against a stout Ravens defense in Week 9 that allowed the fewest rushing yards per attempt (3.3) to opposing offenses heading into Week 8.

Cameron Dicker Oct 27 7:10pm CT
    Cameron Dicker

Los Angeles Chargers kicker Cameron Dicker made four of his five kicks in a Week 8 win over the New Orleans Saints. Dicker made both of the field goals he attempted, then made two of his three extra point tries. Dicker's first field goal was a 46-yard kick in the second quarter and his second one came in the fourth quarter from 29 yards out. Despite the missed extra point this time, "Dicker the Kicker" remains a solid, consistent kicker both from a fantasy and a real life perspective.

Josh Palmer Oct 27 7:00pm CT
    Josh Palmer

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Joshua Palmer made two long plays in a Week 8 win over the New Orleans Saints. Palmer was targeted four times, making two catches for 72 yards. He made one grab for 45 yards and the other for 27. While he wasn't as involved as expected, he made the most out of the two catches he was able to secure, finishing second on the team in receiving yards despite being just fourth in catches and targets. With rookie Ladd McConkey establishing himself as quarterback Justin Herbert's favorite target, Palmer is shaping up to be more of a boom-or-bust type of fantasy receiver. The Chargers offense could look different once Quentin Johnston (ankle) and D.J. Chark (groin) return to the field, but Palmer should continue to have a role.

Will Dissly Oct 27 7:00pm CT
    Will Dissly

Los Angeles Chargers tight end Will Dissly made five catches in a Week 8 win over the New Orleans Saints. Dissly remained heavily involved in the passing game, seeing seven targets thrown his way, tied for the team lead. His five catches gained 41 yards. That's now three games in a row of at least five targets for Dissly, who has developed a high floor as part of the Chargers passing game. He should continue as a solid but unexciting TE2 option in Week 9 as the Bolts travel to Cleveland to take on the Browns.

    From RotoBaller

Jake Elliott Oct 27 7:00pm CT
    Jake Elliott

Philadelphia Eagles kicker Jake Elliott made three field goals from 39, 47, and 49 yards away and converted four extra point attempts during the team's 37-17 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. This was by far the 29-year-olds best fantasy performance of the season and his only one so far with at least three field goals converted. The Eagles offense has started to gel nicely since the bye and with their upcoming schedule, Elliott is a solid addition for those struggling to get production from their current kicker. He will be highly recommended next week as the Eagles take on a terrible Jacksonville defense.

    From RotoBaller

Tyreek Hill Oct 27 7:00pm CT
    Tyreek Hill

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill caught six of nine targets for 72 yards in Sunday's 28-27 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. Hill's performance marked his best since Week 1, and his longest catch came on a 30-yard reception down the right sideline. This wasn't the performance fantasy managers were hoping for with the return of Tua Tagovailoa (concussion). Although the yardage totals weren't the best, seeing Hill garner nine targets was encouraging. Overall, Miami's offense looked much better with Tagovailoa under center than the previous four games. Miami has several great matchups over the next several weeks, so better days are ahead for the 30-year-old. Next week will not be one of them when they travel to Buffalo next Sunday to face a Bills defense that has been stingy against wide receivers.

    J.K. Dobbins Oct 27 6:50pm CT
    J.K. Dobbins

Los Angeles Chargers running back J.K. Dobbins scored a touchdown in a Week 8 win over the New Orleans Saints. Dobbins led the Chargers backfield in all categories, running the ball 17 times for 57 yards and catching four of seven passing game targets for 11 yards. Dobbins scored on a one-yard goal line run in the second quarter. Kimani Vidal and Hassan Haskins combined for just seven carries and 16 yards, showing once again that Dobbins has this backfield locked down. He'll be in the RB1/2 conversation most weeks, including in Week 9 when the Chargers travel to Cleveland to take on the Browns.

    From RotoBaller

Kimani Vidal Oct 27 6:50pm CT
    Kimani Vidal

Los Angeles Chargers rookie running back Kimani Vidal remained in a backup role in a Week 8 win over the New Orleans Saints. Vidal carried the ball six times, gaining 16 yards. He was not targeted in the passing game. Meanwhile, starter J.K. Dobbins got 21 touches and commanded the backfield once again. Vidal is worth rostering in most formats because he'd immediately skyrocket into the RB2 conversation if Dobbins were forced to miss time, but Vidal won't be a fantasy asset on his own unless he ascends into the starting role.

Bo Nix Oct 27 6:50pm CT
    Bo Nix

Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix completed 28-of-37 passes for 284 yards and three touchdowns in Sunday's 28-14 win over the Carolina Panthers. He added four yards and an additional touchdown on five carries. It was another clean game from the first-round rookie, throwing just one interception in his last six outings after four through the first two weeks. His completions, passing yardage, and touchdown total are all career-highs. It's another impressive outing for the 24-year-old, who is quietly putting together a strong debut campaign. Nix will get a much more challenging task in Week 9 when he and Denver hit the road to line up against a tough Baltimore Ravens squad. However, Browns quarterback Jameis Winston did just torch Baltimore's D for 334 yards and three touchdowns in Week 8.

    From RotoBaller

    A.J. Brown Oct 27 6:50pm CT
    A.J. Brown

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown caught five of six targets for 84 yards during the team's 37-17 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. There was more passing this week by the Eagles offense, but it was DeVonta Smith who found the end zone this week on a 45-yard bomb thrown by quarterback Jalen Hurts. Three of the four Eagles' touchdowns Sunday were scored by Hurts on the ground as the offense flexed their run-game muscles inside the red zone. Brown should be in for a better performance next week as he gets to take on a Jacksonville pass defense that is one of the worst in the NFL.

    From RotoBaller

Ladd McConkey Oct 27 6:50pm CT
    Ladd McConkey

Los Angeles Chargers rookie wide receiver Ladd McConkey (hip) had his best game as a pro so far in a Week 8 win over the New Orleans Saints. McConkey made six catches on six targets, gaining 111 yards and scoring two touchdowns. Despite missing some practices during the week with a hip injury, McConkey looked excellent in this game, scoring his first touchdown in the third quarter on a 60 yard play and his second in the fourth on a nine-yard pass into the corner of the end zone. It was an impressive performance by the rookie product out of Georgia, who should once again be in the WR2 conversation in Week 9 against the Cleveland Browns.

    From RotoBaller

Grant Calcaterra Oct 27 6:50pm CT
    Grant Calcaterra

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Grant Calcaterra caught all three of his targets for 58 yards during the team's 37-17 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. It was a solid performance for the third-year tight end who had just one target a week ago against the Giants. Unfortunately for those who took the shot on streaming him this week, Calcaterra has a pedestrian performance compared to a litany of tight ends who went off this week. He will remain on the streaming radar next week, however, as the Eagles will face off against a terrible Jacksonville defense. Dallas Goedert (hamstring) has not practiced since suffering his injury back in Week 6 and is likely to miss another game at least. Calcaterra remains on the streaming radar in Week 8.

    From RotoBaller

Saquon Barkley Oct 27 6:40pm CT
    Saquon Barkley

Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley took 22 carries for 108 yards and caught one of his three targets for a three-yard gain during the team's 37-17 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. After thrashing the Giants last week, the 27-year-old crossed the century mark in scrimmage yards for the second week in a row and for the sixth time in seven games played. The story here that is sure to frustrate fantasy managers is the three rushing touchdowns scored by quarterback Jalen Hurts. Two of these touchdowns were done via the brotherly shove while the other was a designed run for Hurts inside the 10. This was a fear heading into the season for Barkley, but he has been so productive in every other aspect that it has not caused fantasy managers many issues. The star back now faces a terrible Jacksonville defense that is reeling after a tough loss to the Green Bay Packers.

    From RotoBaller

Justin Herbert Oct 27 6:40pm CT
    Justin Herbert

Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert tossed two touchdowns in a Week 8 win over the New Orleans Saints. Herbert attempted 32 passes, completing 20 of them for 279 and the two touchdowns. He also added 49 yards on the ground on four carries, including one for a huge 38-yard gain. Herbert's two passing touchdowns went to rookie wide receiver Ladd McConkey, who had an excellent game. That's now two weeks in a row of strong quarterback play from Herbert after a mediocre start to the season. His fantasy arrow is pointing up heading into a Week 9 game against the Cleveland Browns.

    From RotoBaller

DeVonta Smith Oct 27 6:40pm CT
    DeVonta Smith

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith caught six of seven targets for 85 yards and a touchdown during the team's 37-17 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. After a week where the former Heisman winner posted -2 receiving yards against the New York Giants, Smith made up for it with a solid performance in which he led the team in receiving yards and caught the only passing touchdown of the day for the Eagles. Smith caught a 45-yard bomb to put the Eagles ahead of the Bengals 24 to 17 and they never looked back. A.J. Brown was right behind him in targets and yardage, but this was a game where running the ball in the red zone was incredibly successful, so there was just one passing touchdown to distribute. The Eagles receivers could have a big day next week against the lowly Jacksonville pass defense.

    From RotoBaller

Jalen Hurts Oct 27 6:30pm CT
    Jalen Hurts

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts completed 16 of 20 passes for 236 yards and a touchdown and took 10 carries for 37 yards and three additional scores during the team's 37-17 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. The Eagles offense was barely on the field in the first quarter due to a long Bengals offensive drive, leading to another week without points scored in the first 15 minutes of play. However, Philadelphia turned things up on both sides of the ball after this and the 26-year-old was everything for the offense in Week 8. Running back Saquon Barkley had a few scoring opportunities taken from him due to two brotherly shove touchdown runs by Hurts and another scoring run from inside the 10, but this was the best game the Eagles signal-caller has looked as a passer all season as well. This offense has been clicking since the bye week and Hurts has not turned the ball over while scoring a total of nine touchdowns in the past three weeks. Moving into Week 8, Hurts and the Birds face off against one of the worst defenses in the NFL, the Jacksonville Jaguars.

    From RotoBaller

George Kittle Oct 27 6:10pm CT
    George Kittle

San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle (foot) is officially active for Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys. The veteran has been battling a foot injury, keeping him off the practice field on Wednesday before returning for limited sessions on Thursday and Friday. Kittle has been a top fantasy tight end this season, amassing 34 catches (42 targets) for 375 yards and five touchdowns. While Kittle is always a must-start for fantasy managers, his potential for more involvement is higher due to the absences of Brandon Aiyuk (knee), Jauan Jennings (hip), and Christian McCaffrey (Achilles).
