David Njoku Sep 12 9:50pm ET
    David Njoku

Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku will head on the road to take on the Baltimore Ravens in Week 2. Njoku turned in a quiet performance in a Week 1 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, catching three of his six targets for 37 yards to finish fifth on the team in receiving. He also had to contend with third-round rookie Harold Fannin Jr., who had a strong pro debut, pulling down seven of his nine targets for 63 yards. Despite Fannin's solid debut, Njoku should still continue to operate as the Browns' top tight end going forward. That puts him on the map as a low-end TE1 in fantasy leagues heading into the weekend.

Andre Szmyt Sep 12 9:50pm ET
    Andre Szmyt

Cleveland Browns kicker Andre Szmyt will take on the Baltimore Ravens on the road in Week 2. Szmyt did not impress in his first game with the Browns last week, missing one of his two field goals and also misfiring on an extra point in a one-point loss. With many putting at least some of the blame on Szmyt's shoulders for the loss, he will look to bounce back against a Ravens defense that allowed the 14th-most fantasy points per game to the position back in 2024. Szmyt has a lot of pressure on him to improve from last week, but he is too hard to trust in fantasy at the moment.

Kareem Hunt Sep 12 9:50pm ET
    Kareem Hunt

Kansas City Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt remains locked into the short-yardage role to open the 2025 season. In Week 1's loss to the Chargers, Hunt logged five carries for 16 yards and added two receptions for 10 yards while splitting work with Isiah Pacheco. Notably, Hunt dominated the high-leverage snaps, playing 15 of 17 opportunities on third and fourth down, while Pacheco handled 19 of 25 first-down snaps. The committee approach makes it difficult to trust any Chiefs running back in fantasy, and Week 2 brings a brutal matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles defense, which allowed the fewest fantasy points to running backs in 2024. Hunt is unstartable in most formats, though his goal-line role gives him deep-league FLEX appeal.

    From RotoBaller

Tanner Conner Sep 12 9:50pm ET
    Tanner Conner

Miami Dolphins tight end Tanner Conner will be in line for more playing time in Week 2 against the Patriots since Darren Waller (hip) will miss a second straight week. In Week 1, Conner split time evenly with Julian Hill, each playing 58% of snaps. Conner was much more involved as a receiver, though, drawing four targets compared to zero for Hill. Conner only had two catches for 20 yards, though, as the Dolphins' offense sputtered in their loss to the Colts. Conner could be a short-yardage option for the Miami again this week, and the Patriots were a good matchup for tight ends in Week 1. However, he is still a very unproven option in a struggling offense, so he's not a strong play in Week 2. In the RotoBaller rankings, he's TE48.

    From RotoBaller

Lamar Jackson Sep 12 9:50pm ET
    Lamar Jackson

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is leading the team into their first divisional matchup with the Cleveland Browns in Week 2 after a devastating loss to the Buffalo Bills. Even though Jackson turned in a great performance, the team gave up 22 points in the fourth quarter to eventually lose by one. The Browns don't present nearly the same level of talent on offense, but they do have one of the more tantalizing defensive units. Last year, Jackson's second-worst completion percentage was against the Browns at 55.71% in two games. With that being said, he still amassed 506 yards and four touchdowns through the air with 109 yards on 17 carries. This is also his first home game of the year, which gives another reason for Jackson and company to be amped up for this matchup.

    From RotoBaller

Jerome Ford Sep 12 9:40pm ET
    Jerome Ford

Cleveland Browns running back Jerome Ford will take on the Baltimore Ravens on the road in Week 2. Ford is looking to shake off a slow start in Week 1 as he gained just eight yards on six carries while losing three yards on his lone catch in a one-point loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. The veteran's role as the team's starter could be coming to an end soon as rookie Quinshon Judkins is expected to make his pro debut against the Ravens, which could push Ford to a bench role, assuming the Browns keep rookie Dylan Sampson in the third-down spot. Ford is an extremely risky fantasy option in Week 2 and should be left on benches with his backfield role up in the air.

    From RotoBaller

Cedric Tillman Sep 12 9:40pm ET
    Cedric Tillman

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Cedric Tillman will head on the road to take on the Baltimore Ravens in Week 2. Tillman got his 2025 season off to a quick start as he caught five of his eight targets for 52 yards and a touchdown in a one-point loss to the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 1. The third-year wideout now draws a plus matchup against a Baltimore secondary that allowed the fifth-most fantasy points per game to opposing wideouts last season and was shredded through the air by the Buffalo Bills last week. Tillman sets up as a low-end WR3/flex option in fantasy heading into a prime matchup in Week 2.

    From RotoBaller

Drake Maye Sep 12 9:40pm ET
    Drake Maye

New England Patriots tight end Hunter Henry profiles as one of the better tight end options for Week 2. In the season-opening loss to Las Vegas, Henry caught four of eight targets for 66 yards, leading the team in looks. His chemistry with rookie quarterback Drake Maye is well established, as Henry has seen 8+ targets in five of Maye's last seven starts. Usage was also encouraging, as Henry played 93% of the snaps in Week 1, his second-highest rate in a game since 2022. He now draws a favorable matchup against Miami, which just allowed Colts rookie tight end Tyler Warren to erupt in Week 1. Given his target volume and snap share, Henry enters Week 2 as a solid low-end TE1 and remains Maye's most reliable pass-catching option.

    From RotoBaller

Jerry Jeudy Sep 12 9:40pm ET
    Jerry Jeudy

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jerry Jeudy will take on the Baltimore Ravens on the road in Week 2. Jeudy had a solid game in Week 1's one-point loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, catching five of eight targets for 66 yards to lead the team. The veteran wideout now draws a fantastic matchup against a Ravens secondary that allowed the fifth-most fantasy points per game to fantasy wideouts last season and struggled to contain the Buffalo Bills' pass-catchers in last week's loss. Jeudy settles in as a high-end WR3/flex option in fantasy heading into Week 2.

    From RotoBaller

Julian Hill Sep 12 9:40pm ET
    Julian Hill

Miami Dolphins tight end Julian Hill will be atop the depth chart for a second straight week with Daren Waller (hip) ruled out against the Patriots. In Week 1, the third-year tight end split snaps right down the middle with Tanner Conner, each playing 28 snaps in Waller's absence. While he did not get a single target in Week 1, he did catch a two-point conversion. It doesn't count as an official reception, but the conversion did give his fantasy managers something to show for Week 1. Hill will probably play plenty of snaps again in Week 2, but he is not involved enough in the offense to be a fantasy factor. He can be left on the waiver wire in all formats at this point and is the TE43 in RotoBaller's Week 2 rankings.

    From RotoBaller

Dylan Sampson Sep 12 9:30pm ET
    Dylan Sampson

Cleveland Browns running back Dylan Sampson will head on the road to take on the Baltimore Ravens in Week 2. Sampson turned in an excellent pro debut in a one-point loss to the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 1, catching all eight of his targets for 64 yards. He also dominated the backfield work, earning 12 carries to starter Jerome Ford's six in the contest. Sampson appears to be locked into the pass-catching role in the Cleveland offense, a spot that should be productive against a Ravens defense that allowed James Cook to catch all five of his targets for 58 yards in Week 1. Sampson sets up as a high-end RB3/flex option with upside heading into fantasy contests in Week 2.

    From RotoBaller

    Jacory Croskey-Merritt Sep 12 9:30pm ET
    Jacory Croskey-Merritt

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that rookie running back Jacory Croskey-Merritt is expected to step in as the Washington Commanders' starter following the devastating Achilles injury to Austin Ekeler in Thursday night's 27-18 loss to Green Bay. Croskey-Merritt has flashed efficiency early, posting 14 carries for 99 yards and a touchdown through two games despite playing fewer than 33% of the snaps. With only Jeremy McNichols currently active alongside him, the rookie should handle the bulk of early-down rushing duties, while McNichols sees work in passing situations. Chris Rodriguez Jr., a healthy scratch in the first two games, is also a candidate to be active moving forward. While Croskey-Merritt entered the season as a deep sleeper, he suddenly finds himself in line for a heavy workload. He's now an important fantasy asset with starting potential for the remainder of the 2025 season.

    From RotoBaller

Joe Flacco Sep 12 9:20pm ET
    Joe Flacco

Cleveland Browns quarterback Joe Flacco will head on the road to take on his former team, the Baltimore Ravens, in Week 2. Flacco, who spent the first 11 years of his career with the Ravens, was busy in a Week 1 loss as he dropped back to pass 45 times in a one-point loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. While he only threw one touchdown last week, the Browns' pass-heavy approach to begin the season could lead to fantasy production for the veteran quarterback. Stopping opposing passing attacks has been a defensive liability for the Ravens over the past few years, giving Flacco a good shot at posting a productive game. That being said, he still settles in as a mid-range QB3 in fantasy with no teams on bye in Week 2.

    From RotoBaller

Ollie Gordon II Sep 12 9:20pm ET
    Ollie Gordon II

Miami Dolphins running back Ollie Gordon II apparently hit the snooze button in Week 1, since the sleeper dozed right through his NFL debut. Gordon is RotoBaller's RB54 for the Dolphins' Week 2 matchup against the Patriots after he only managed four yards on two carries and one catch for negative one yard in Week 1. He played 15 snaps (25%) and could work his way into a larger role as the season progresses. At this point, though, he's a hold for his long-term upside, not for the production he is expected to bring this week. He doesn't belong on waiver wires, but he also doesn't belong in your starting lineup ultin he has a clear path to playing time. Jaylen Wright (leg) could crowd Gordon's playing time even more when he returns, although coach Mike McDaniel said that is unlikely to be this week, and the running back is doubtful on the injury report.

    From RotoBaller

Tua Tagovailoa Sep 12 9:10pm ET
    Tua Tagovailoa

Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa will be looking to bounce back after a brutal Week 1 when the Dolphins host the Patriots in Week 2. Coach Mike McDaniel and General Manager Chris Grier have come under fire after the team's brutal 33-8 loss in Indianapolis during Week 1, and change could be on the horizon if Tagovailoa can't turn things around. He only completed 14 of 23 pass attempts for 114 yards and a late touchdown. He threw a pair of bad interceptions and was sacked three times, also losing a fumble. The entire offense seemed completely out of sorts, with timing that was off and shaky pass protection. He was one of the lowest-scoring fantasy quarterbacks in Week 1, and even in a favorable matchup against the Patriots, he's only the No. 26 QB in the RotoBaller rankings for Week 2. Even in two-quarterback leagues, there are probably stronger options available.

    From RotoBaller

Bhayshul Tuten Sep 12 9:10pm ET
    Bhayshul Tuten

Jacksonville Jaguars rookie running back Bhayshul Tuten has climbed into the RB2 role on the team's updated depth chart. In Week 1, Tuten logged three carries for 11 yards during the win over Carolina, while Travis Etienne and Tank Bigsby combined to play 83% of the snaps, with Etienne dominating the touches. Following the game, Jacksonville traded Bigsby to the Eagles, opening the door for Tuten, along with seventh-round rookie LeQuint Allen Jr., to compete for the backup job. The Jaguars face the Bengals in Week 2, a defense that struggled in 2024. While Tuten is not yet a fantasy starter, his path to meaningful touches has become much clearer with Bigsby's departure, making him a bench stash with upside in all formats.

    From RotoBaller

Tre Tucker Sep 12 9:00pm ET
    Tre Tucker

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Tre Tucker got his 2025 season started on the right foot with new quarterback Geno Smith running the offense in the Week 1 win over the New England Patriots, and scored his first touchdown of the year. Tucker caught only two of three targets, but he averaged a robust 27 yards per reception to finish with 54 yards in the contest. The 24-year-old played 57 of a possible 63 offensive snaps as the clear WR2 behind Jakobi Meyers. Most weeks, Tucker will be a hard sell as a boom/bust flex play in fantasy, but he could have more sleeper appeal in Week 2 on Monday night against the division-rival Los Angeles Chargers if target-hog tight end Brock Bowers (knee) cannot play -- Bowers has missed two practices already this week. In two games against L.A. last year, Tucker had five catches for 46 scoreless yards.

    From RotoBaller

Aaron Rodgers Sep 12 8:50pm ET
    Aaron Rodgers

Even Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers' biggest supporters may have been surprised that he turned back the clock to throw four touchdowns in a 34-32 Week 1 win over his former team, the New York Jets, last Sunday. Rodgers did it on 22-for-30 passing while throwing for 244 yards. Only one time last year did Rodgers throw for four TDs with the Jets, and it came in the Week 18 regular-season finale. The 41-year-old future Hall of Famer's back was tight and limited his mobility against the Jets, but he was not on Pittsburgh's injury report this week and is cleared for a Week 2 meeting with the Seattle Seahawks in his Steel City debut. Seattle allowed Brock Purdy to throw for 277 yards and two TDs against them in Week 1, but they also picked him off twice. Rodgers proved he still has a little magic in him, but the ceiling and floor remain low for fantasy purposes, and the bottom line is that most weeks, the Steelers are hoping he won't have to wear a cape.

    From RotoBaller

Jordan Watkins Sep 12 8:30pm ET
    Jordan Watkins

San Francisco 49ers rookie wide receiver Jordan Watkins (ankle) has been removed from the injury report and will make his NFL debut in Week 2 against the New Orleans Saints this Sunday. Watkins, a fourth-rounder in April, was held out of the Week 1 win over the Seattle Seahawks after suffering a high-ankle sprain all the way back on Aug. 9, but not only will he be active this weekend, but he could be thrown into the fire right away. Tight end George Kittle (hamstring) is on Injured Reserve, while receiver Jauan Jennings (shoulder) is questionable for Sunday. Backup quarterback Mac Jones is starting in place of the injured Brock Purdy (toe), but if Jennings is out, Watkins will be battling with Kendrick Bourne, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, and Skyy Moore for WR2 duties. Watkins will be too dicey to start in fantasy, but he's certainly one to watch in deeper leagues now that he's past his ankle injury.

    From RotoBaller

Tyler Badie Sep 12 8:20pm ET
    Tyler Badie

Parker Gabriel of The Denver Post writes that Denver Broncos running back Tyler Badie could have an elevated role in the passing attack out of the backfield in a Week 2 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts because of Colts defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo's tendency to bring a lot of "pressure looks." Although Badie didn't have a carry in the Week 1 win over the Tennessee Titans, he was targeted six times through the air and caught two of them for 16 yards. The 25-year-old is not a realistic starting option in Week 2 fantasy lineups, even in PPR leagues, but his presence on the field is bad news for fantasy managers expecting rookie RJ Harvey to see a bigger share of the backfield work in Week 2. Badie's six targets ranked third on the team last weekend in Denver.
