Stefon Diggs Oct 18 1:30pm ET
    Stefon Diggs

Houston Texans wide receiver Stefon Diggs is in WR1 territory as he prepares to meet his old friends, the Green Bay Packers, during a Week 7 game at Lambeau Field. Houston will be without wide receiver Nico Collins (hamstring) for at least three more weeks, placing the 30-year-old veteran at the top of the food chain in a talented Texans offense. Diggs has caught at least five passes in every game this season and drawn 20% or more of Houston's targets four games in a row, making him a high-floor option against a Green Bay pass defense that ranks 26th in air yards allowed. The former Viking should be starting in all formats in Week 7.

    From RotoBaller

Xavier Hutchinson Oct 18 1:30pm ET
    Xavier Hutchinson

Houston Texans wide receiver Xavier Hutchinson should continue to see a higher-than-normal volume of snaps, making him a high-risk option in deep leagues for a Week 7 game at Green Bay. Houston's top wide receiver, Nico Collins, will miss at least three more games on injured reserve, thrusting the second-year receiver into more playing time. Hutchinson played 71% and 50% of Houston's snaps the past two weeks, respectively, but he has just two catches for 31 yards on five targets from the increased playing time. Fellow receivers Stefon Diggs and Tank Dell should continue to command significantly more targets, however, making it tough for fantasy managers to trust Hutchinson, even in formats with multiple flex positions.

Jonathan Taylor Oct 18 1:30pm ET
    Jonathan Taylor

Indianapolis Colts head coach Shane Steichen said that running back Jonathan Taylor (ankle) will not play in Week 7 against the Miami Dolphins. Taylor will now miss his third straight game due to a right-ankle sprain, but hopefully he'll be able to make it back for a Week 8 date against the division-rival Houston Texans on Oct. 27. With Trey Sermon (knee) also dealing with an injury, it's possible we'll see more of Tyler Goodson and Evan Hull, depending on whether Sermon is active for Sunday's game. Sermon hasn't been all that effective on the ground the last two weeks with Taylor out, so even if he's active, he could yield more backfield touches to Goodson and Hull. Taylor obviously needs to remain on fantasy benches, while Sermon will be nothing more than a low-upside RB3/flex against Miami if he's active.

    C.J. Stroud Oct 18 1:30pm ET
    C.J. Stroud

Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud enters a Week 7 matchup against Green Bay as a steady QB1 in one of the NFL's top offenses. The Ohio State product has established a nice fantasy floor five out of six top-15 finishes at his position but so far, he's only cracked the top five once. This matchup is an intriguing one, as the Packers rank 26th in blitz rate, air yards allowed, and average depth of target. Where Green Bay excels is taking away the ball. The Packers have forced turnovers on 24% of opposing possessions, which is the best rate in the league. Whether Stroud and the Texans can score another big offensive day likely will depend on how well they take care of the ball against a fellow contender on the road.

Jonathon Brooks Oct 18 1:20pm ET
    Jonathon Brooks

Carolina Panthers rookie running back Jonathon Brooks (knee) was limited in Friday's practice but has been ruled out and won't make his NFL debut this weekend versus the Washington Commanders. Brooks made his return to practice for the first time this year on Wednesday while recovering from a torn ACL that he suffered last November while playing in college at Texas, so the 21-year-old wasn't realistically expected to play in Week 7. However, the 46th overall pick in this year's draft (the first RB off the board), could become a big part of Carolina's backfield alongside Chuba Hubbard later this year once he gets up to speed. Brooks will need to make more progress in practice next week to have a shot to make his debut for the Panthers in Week 8 against the Denver Broncos. He's worth stashing in all fantasy leagues.

    Ka'imi Fairbairn Oct 18 1:20pm ET
    Ka'imi Fairbairn

Houston Texans kicker Ka'imi Fairbairn has been one of the best fantasy kickers in the NFL this season, and he remains a clear starter with Houston at Green Bay in Week 7. Fantasy managers who selected the Houston kicker have seen consistent production so far. The UCLA product is 13-for-15 on field goals, an impressive eight-for-nine on attempts from 50 or more yards, and the third-ranked fantasy kicker through six weeks. Attached to a capable Houston offense, Fairbairn should stay in starting lineups in Week 7.

    From RotoBaller

Dalton Schultz Oct 18 1:20pm ET
    Dalton Schultz

Houston Texans tight end Dalton Schultz is a fringe starter with some target volume upside in Week 7 at Green Bay. The 28-year-old has been among the letdown draft picks at tight end, ranking 25th at the position through six games. However, the Stanford product still remains a playable option with top Houston receiver Nico Collins (hamstring) on injured reserve. The Texans have targeted Schultz 14 times in the past two games, and Green Bay ranks 28th against fantasy tight ends. If there were ever a time to break his touchdown drought 11 straight regular-season games without a score this week would be a good candidate.

    From RotoBaller

Tank Dell Oct 18 1:20pm ET
    Tank Dell

Coming off his best game of the season, Houston Texans wide receiver Tank Dell is a solid flex option heading into a Week 7 matchup at Green Bay. The diminutive receiver drew a team-high nine targets in Week 6, which is no coincidence as Houston reconfigures its offense with top receiver Nico Collins (hamstring) on injured reserve. Green Bay ranks 22nd against fantasy wide receivers and 26th in air yards allowed, which are both green lights for a deep threat like Dell. Given his increased target share and Houston's penchant to use him creatively, the second-year receiver is worthy of a start for fantasy managers looking for flex production in Week 7.

    From RotoBaller

Tommy Tremble Oct 18 1:20pm ET
    Tommy Tremble

Carolina Panthers tight end Tommy Tremble (back, concussion) did not practice on Friday and is listed as questionable to face the Washington Commanders this Sunday in Week 7. Meanwhile, Ian Thomas (hip) practiced in full and has been cleared to play. Tremble shed his non-contact jersey in practice on Thursday, but apparently he had a setback with a back injury on Friday and is now up in the air to play this weekend. The 24-year-old suffered a concussion in the Week 5 loss to the Chicago Bears and was inactive for last week's loss to the division-rival Atlanta Falcons. Even if Tremble is cleared to play this Sunday, fantasy managers should be looking elsewhere for a TE2 streamer. He's caught only seven of nine targets for 59 yards and no touchdowns through four games this year. If Tremble misses another game, rookie Ja'Tavion Sanders will get more run.

Tyrone Tracy Jr. Oct 18 1:10pm ET
    Tyrone Tracy Jr.

Despite New York Giants running back Devin Singletary (groin) returning from a two-game absence in Week 7 against the division-rival Philadelphia Eagles, rookie Tyrone Tracy Jr. will still see significant playing time on Sunday. "He's earned it," head coach Brian Daboll said. "He's done a good job. So he'll get plenty of playing time." Daboll said that Tracy, Singletary and Eric Gray will all play, but the Giants plan to keep a close eye on Singletary to see how he's doing after coming off his groin ailment. It means the G-Men will likely ease Singletary back into action, making him a shaky RB3/flex option in his return against the Eagles. In the two games that Singletary missed, Tracy was much more electric and explosive than Singletary, carrying the ball 35 times for 179 yards and a score while catching seven passes for 58 yards. He's the better upside flex play this weekend than Singletary.

Jadeveon Clowney Oct 18 1:03pm ET
    Jadeveon Clowney

Carolina Panthers LB Claudin Cherelus (hamstring), LB Josey Jewell (hamstring, groin), OT Taylor Moton (elbow), LB Jon Rhattigan (knee, illness) and DE A'Shawn Robinson (knee) did not practice and were ruled out on the final injury report Friday, Oct. 18. LB Jadeveon Clowney (shoulder) was limited at practice and is doubtful while DT Jaden Crumedy (ankle) and S Sam Franklin (foot) were full participants and are doubtful. TE Tommy Tremble (concussion) did not practice and is questionable. WR David Moore (knee) and DE LaBryan Ray (ankle, knee) were limited at practice and are questionable while CB Dane Jackson (hamstring) was a full participant and is questionable. S Nick Scott (hamstring) was limited and has no designation. C Andrew Raym (concussion), OT Ikem Ekwonu (elbow), LB Marquis Haynes (back) and TE Ian Thomas (hip) were full participants and carry no designation.

    From TheHuddle

Devin Singletary Oct 18 1:00pm ET
    Devin Singletary

New York Giants running back Devin Singletary (groin) will return on Sunday, according to Jordan Raanan of ESPN. However, Raanan noted that rookie standout Tyrone Tracy Jr. will continue to see significant playing time. Head coach Brian Daboll said "He's earned it. He's done a good job. So he'll get plenty of playing time." During Singletary's two-week absence, Tracy averaged 89.5 rushing yards per game with one score and an additional 58 total receiving yards. Fantasy managers should view both running backs as flex options this weekend, given their potential to limit each other's production. They will face the Philadelphia Eagles, who have allowed the 13th-fewest points to opposing running backs.

    From RotoBaller

Diontae Johnson Oct 18 1:00pm ET
    Diontae Johnson

Carolina Panthers wide receiver Diontae Johnson (ankle/ribs/hamstring) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Washington Commanders, according to David Newton of ESPN. Johnson has been dealing with a lingering ankle injury over the past few weeks but has been able to play through it. However, this week, Johnson did not participate in Wednesday and Thursday's practice sessions and only returned on Friday at a limited capacity. Fantasy managers should pay close attention to any updates regarding the 28-year-old during the weekend. If he can play, Johnson should be locked into all lineups as a high-end WR2 facing a weak Washington secondary who have allowed the 28th-most points to opposing wideouts. If he sits out, Xavier Legette should see increased opportunities and be a viable high-end WR3.

    From RotoBaller

Travis Etienne Oct 18 12:50pm ET
    Travis Etienne

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne Jr. (hamstring) is likely to be a game-time decision on Sunday, according to Demetrius Harvey of Florida-Times Union. The 25-year-old was initially deemed week-to-week but now has a chance to suit up on Sunday morning when the Jaguars face the New England Patriots. Etienne has struggled recently after eclipsing double-digit PPR points in the first three weeks of the season. Since then, the Clemson product has averaged just 6.3 PPR points per game and has begun to lose opportunities to Tank Bigsby. If Etienne can play, he should be viewed as a low-end flex option, given his recent struggles.

    From RotoBaller

Joey Slye Oct 18 12:40pm ET
    Joey Slye

New England Patriots kicker Joey Slye has not been a dependable fantasy option over the last two weeks, but he could generate some streaming appeal in deeper leagues for Week 7. This Sunday, Slye will kick against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Given that the Jaguars have allowed the second-most points per game this season, the Patriots should have plenty of scoring opportunities, opening the way for Slye to get involved. Furthermore, the New England offense has shown additional signs of life ever since benching Jacoby Brissett for Drake Maye. Brissett averaged just 0.4 passing touchdowns per game as the Patriots' starter while Maye threw for three touchdowns in his first career start last weekend. Between a favorable matchup and the Patriots offense's upward trajectory, Slye becomes a fringe top-12 fantasy option at the kicker position. He's worth considering if your primary kicker is injured or on a bye week.

    From RotoBaller

Jordan Mason Oct 18 12:40pm ET
    Jordan Mason

San Francisco 49ers running back Jordan Mason (shoulder) remains "up in the air" for Sunday's game, according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network. Mason suffered an AC joint sprain during last Thursday's game against the Seattle Seahawks. Mason logged two consecutive limited practice sessions on Wednesday and Thursday this week, which is a promising sign. Fantasy managers should pay close attention to Friday's injury report, as it will likely clarify the 25-year-old's status for the weekend. Mason has performed very well replacing the injured Christian McCaffrey (calf), running for 609 yards with three scores through six games, and should be locked into all lineups if he is able to play. If he cannot, rookie Isaac Guerendo should take the lead role.

    From RotoBaller

James Cook Oct 18 12:30pm ET
    James Cook

Buffalo Bills running back James Cook (toe) is expected to play on Sunday, according to Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN. Cook was sidelined last weekend due to a toe injury but looks poised to return after his one-week absence. As a result, rookie Ray Davis led the Buffalo backfield in the Monday night win over the New York Jets and was impressive. Cook opened the week as a limited participant on Wednesday but was upgraded to full participation on Thursday. Fantasy managers should monitor Friday's injury report in case the 25-year-old faces a setback. Cook has averaged 15.7 PPR points per game this season and should be locked into all fantasy lineups as a high-end RB2 facing the Tennessee Titans this weekend if he's active.

    From RotoBaller

Mike Evans Oct 18 12:20pm ET
    Mike Evans

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans (hamstring) was seen working with trainers on Friday, according to Greg Auman of Fox Sports. Auman further reported that the star wideout still has a chance to suit up on Monday. Evans did not participate in practice on Thursday due to this hamstring injury. While he has not returned to full participation, it is promising to see him on the field nonetheless. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status throughout the weekend as he may carry an injury designation into Monday's game. If Evans can play, he should be locked into all lineups facing the Ravens, who have allowed the 29th-most points to opposing wideouts. If not, rookie Jalen McMillan should see an uptick in opportunities.

    From RotoBaller

Devon Achane Oct 18 12:20pm ET
    Devon Achane

Miami Dolphins running back De'Von Achane (concussion) is lined up for an intriguing outing against the Indianapolis Colts. The second-year back practiced without a non-contact jersey in the team's Thursday practice, suggesting he's trending toward returning to action in Week 7 from the concussion sustained before the Week 6 bye. It's been a rough stretch for the 23-year-old, who has yet to eclipse nine fantasy points since quarterback Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) was forced from Miami's Week 2 loss against the Buffalo Bills. He'll get an excellent bounce-back opportunity this Sunday when they square off against the Colts. Indianapolis allows an average of 155.2 rush yards per game to opposing offenses and a solid 4.6 yards per attempt. Raheem Mostert ran well in his return to action in Week 5 (19 car./80 yds.), but he and rookie Jaylen Wright combined for 32 carries in the win, so Achane could be in for a sizeable workload on the ground if they run back their game plan from before the team's bye. The former Aggie is RotoBaller's PPR RB19 in this week's rankings.

    From RotoBaller

Amari Cooper Oct 18 12:20pm ET
    Amari Cooper

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Amari Cooper is expected to suit up on Sunday against the Tennessee Titans, according to Jordan Schultz of FOX Sports. Cooper was traded to Buffalo earlier this week from the Cleveland Browns in exchange for a 2025 third-round pick and a 2026 sixth-round pick. Fantasy managers should continue his status during Friday's practice in case he is not ready to suit up for his new club. Cooper may face a potential snap count limit as it may take him some time to adjust to the new playbook and offensive situation. Nonetheless, fantasy managers should feel confident starting Cooper as a WR2 in all formats, as he should have solid upside every week with Josh Allen throwing to him.
