Jake Ferguson Oct 25 11:00am ET
    Jake Ferguson

Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson is coming off of his worst performance of the season after recording just three receptions for 11 yards in the Week 6 blowout loss to Detroit. Ferguson has yet to score a touchdown in 2024, but has generally seen strong volume and yardage totals which make him a top option at tight end. San Francisco's pass defense is in the upper half of the league, but with the Cowboys leaning heavily on the passing game this season Ferguson remains a TE1 option and should be started in all formats.

Hunter Henry Oct 25 11:00am ET
    Hunter Henry

New England Patriots tight end Hunter Henry has returned to the fantasy radar heading into Week 8 against the New York Jets. Henry only had one fantasy-relevant game with Jacoby Brissett as his quarterback, so he didn't appear to have a whole lot of upside when Drake Maye took over the offense. However, he quickly proved to form a strong rapport with the rookie as the duo has combined for 11 completions, 133 yards, and one touchdown over Maye's two weeks as the starter. Henry has finished as a top-eight fantasy tight end in each of those two contests, so he's back on the fantasy radar ahead of Week 8. Fantasy managers should view him as a solid streamer, at the very least, and he'll become a more trustworthy week-over-week fantasy play if he turns in one more good showing on Sunday.

CeeDee Lamb Oct 25 10:50am ET
    CeeDee Lamb

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb has seen consistent target volume throughout the 2024 season but has only produced two touchdowns and no 100-yard games through the first six games. Last year's overall WR1 should see heavy volume again in Week 8 on Sunday night against the San Francisco 49ers. The matchup isn't ideal, as the 49ers have allowed the 11th-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing receivers on the season, but Lamb remains a WR1 due to his safe floor and boom potential. Do not hesitate to start him again in Week 8.

    From RotoBaller

Drake Maye Oct 25 10:50am ET
    Drake Maye

New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye makes his first start against a divisional opponent in Week 8 when he takes on the New York Jets at home. The 22-year-old has been impressive through his first two career starts, completing 65.7 percent of his passes for 519 yards, five touchdowns, and two interceptions. He also has 56 rushing yards, six sacks, and a lost fumble. In those two games, Maye has been the QB10 and QB7, respectively. It's certainly possible he keeps up this top-12 production against the Jets, but it should also be noted that he's had easier matchups in a negatively-scripted, blowout loss to the Houston Texans and a clash with the Jacksonville Jaguars' subpar defense across the pond. Maye gets a more true test this week against the Jets, who have allowed the seventh-fewest passing yards, seventh-fewest fantasy points, and eight-fewest rushing yards to opposing quarterbacks this year. This tougher matchup knocks Maye out of the top-12 tier, but he still ranks a solid mid-to-high QB2 play for fantasy football in Week 8.

Jalen Tolbert Oct 25 10:50am ET
    Jalen Tolbert

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Jalen Tolbert remains a deep league flex option heading into Week 8's Sunday night matchup with the San Francisco 49ers. Dallas looks to continue to lean on the passing game, making Tolbert the second or third option for quarterback Dak Prescott. San Francisco boasts the 11th-ranked defense against opposing receivers, creating a tough matchup for Tolbert. He can be started in desperation, but there are better options for WR3 and flex spots.

    From RotoBaller

Rico Dowdle Oct 25 10:40am ET
    Rico Dowdle

Dallas Cowboys running back Rico Dowdle is in flex consideration heading into Week 8's Sunday night matchup against San Francisco. The fifth-year back saw a season-low five rush attempts in his last outing against Detroit, but made up for it with five receptions due to game script. San Francisco has been middle-of-the-road against opposing running backs this season, but Dallas has hesitated to lean into their run game. Dowdle should see enough of a workload to warrant flex usability, but is more of an RB3 option this week.

    From RotoBaller

Ezekiel Elliott Oct 25 10:40am ET
    Ezekiel Elliott

Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott should not be considered for fantasy lineups going into Week 8's matchup against the San Francisco 49ers. Elliott saw 41% of snaps in Week 6 against Detroit, but was mostly in the game due to his pass-blocking utility. The veteran has been highly inefficient on the ground this season, and San Francisco's run defense poses enough of a threat for Dallas to continue to lean on the air attack offensively. Elliott can remain on waivers in most formats.

Kayshon Boutte Oct 25 10:40am ET
    Kayshon Boutte

New England Patriots wide receiver Kayshon Boutte has led the position group in snaps over the last two weeks, but his low target share as a deep threat in the offense has kept him off the fantasy radar for the time being. The second-year receiver emerged out of nowhere in Drake Maye's first start in Week 6, catching his first career touchdown pass. Despite that big play and increase in snaps, Boutte has been held to just four catches over the last two games. This week, he faces the New York Jets, who have been impressive against non-slot receivers this year. Still, they did get ripped apart by George Pickens last week, showing susceptibility to surrendering big plays. Boutte has big-play upside, so it's just a matter of him shaking a defender and creating an opportunity for himself. Until he can do that on a more consistent basis, though, he'll remain off the fantasy radar.

    From RotoBaller

Demario Douglas Oct 25 10:40am ET
    Demario Douglas

New England Patriots wide receiver Demario Douglas remains an appealing fantasy option given his volume within the offense. Although he was only targeted three times last week, that was likely a product of Douglas battling an illness and missing some key snaps. In the two weeks prior, when he was fully healthy, he had totaled 18 targets, 12 catches, 151 yards, and one touchdown. This week, Douglas faces the Jets. While New York has been solid against the pass this season, they were ripped apart by George Pickens and the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 7. While Pickens and Douglas are not comparable receivers, the point remains that the Jets' secondary is susceptible to surrendering big games. It should also be noted that they've struggled against slot receivers, like Douglas. He should command a high volume of targets once again, especially if the Patriots find themselves playing from behind. Now, it's just a matter of whether he can turn those targets into catches, yards, and perhaps even a trip to the end zone. With his high volume but merely moderate matchup, Douglas checks in as a low-end WR3/FLEX play.

    From RotoBaller

Dak Prescott Oct 25 10:30am ET
    Dak Prescott

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott had his worst performance of the season the last time we saw him. Fresh off of a bye week, Prescott and the Cowboys are back in prime time on Sunday Night Football against San Francisco in Week 8. The matchup is not ideal for Prescott, as the 49ers have allowed the 12th-least fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks. The 31-year-old can be considered in two-quarterback leagues, but there are likely better starting options available this week in standard formats.

    From RotoBaller

Jalen Nailor Oct 25 10:20am ET
    Jalen Nailor

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jalen Nailor was quiet on the field during Thursday's game against the Los Angeles Rams. Nailor hauled in two of his four targets for 16 yards in the loss. This 16-yard performance was his second worst of the season. It probably won't get better for Nailor with tight end T.J. Hockenson (knee) expected to make his season debut next week. Nailor is only going to fall back further on the pecking order going forward. He's worth a stash in some dynasty formats because of his potential, but isn't going to offer weekly viable value once Hockenson is back on the field.

    From RotoBaller

Demarcus Robinson Oct 25 10:20am ET
    Demarcus Robinson

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Demarcus Robinson cashed in on some open field and a great dime from Matthew Stafford in the 30-20 win over the Minnesota Vikings. He turned three targets into two receptions for 35 yards and two touchdowns. One play saw him wide open in the end zone while the other was a great catch off of a tremendous throw from Stafford right past the defender, and both plays were right outside of the red zone. Robinson can benefit from defenses paying more attention to Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua, but he becomes a riskier play now that he's third or fourth in the target order.

    From RotoBaller

Jordan Addison Oct 25 10:10am ET
    Jordan Addison

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison hasn't been able to give fantasy managers much value at all this season. He certainly didn't help them with his performance against the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday. Addison hauled in two of his three targets for 22 yards in the loss. This was his worst performance of the season as Addison has struggled to remain relevant in the receiving game. It probably won't get better for him with tight end T.J. Hockenson (knee) expected to make his season debut next week. That will probably mean even less volume for Addison heading into a favorable matchup against the Indianapolis Colts. The potential is there, but he can't be trusted as anything more than a WR4.

    From RotoBaller

Cooper Kupp Oct 25 10:00am ET
    Cooper Kupp

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp returned from his four-game absence at the same time Puka Nacua came back, and they brought the offensive firepower along with them. Kupp registered eight targets, five receptions, 51 yards, and one touchdown to help push the team to a 3-4 record with the 30-20 win over the Minnesota Vikings. The only other pass-catcher with more targets was Nacua, and Kupp finished with the second-most receiving yards and longest catch of the game. He'll look to keep this momentum going in a Week 9 matchup with the Seattle Seahawks.

    From RotoBaller

Josh Oliver Oct 25 10:00am ET
    Josh Oliver

Minnesota Vikings tight end Josh Oliver has seen increased playing time this season without T.J. Hockenson (knee) on the field. On Thursday, Oliver hauled in both his targets for 30 yards and a touchdown in the loss to the Los Angeles Rams. Oliver hasn't done much all season and this performance was his best outing through eight weeks. It sounds like Hockenson is on the verge of returning, so Oliver won't see as high of a usage after he returns. Fantasy managers don't need to add Oliver after this game with Hockenson expected to make his season debut soon.

    From RotoBaller

Daniel Carlson Oct 25 9:50am ET
    Daniel Carlson

Las Vegas Raiders kicker Daniel Carlson showed he was still one of the NFL's best by converting all five of his attempts in Week 7, but he faces the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 8, who allow the tenth-fewest fantasy points to opposing kickers in the NFL. In addition, Las Vegas' offense will be without its former top receiver, Davante Adams, for the season, and could be missing Jakobi Meyers (ankle), who didn't practice Thursday. QB Gardner Minshew II will start in place of Aidan O'Connell (thumb), who is now on injured reserve. It's a nightmare matchup for a struggling and depleted offense, so we may not see much of Carlson's leg on Sunday. He's not an appealing starting option in any fantasy leagues.

    From RotoBaller

Aaron Jones Oct 25 9:50am ET
    Aaron Jones

Minnesota Vikings running back Aaron Jones couldn't find much success on the ground during Thursday's game against the Los Angeles Rams. Jones rushed 19 times for 58 yards in what ended up being a loss for Minnesota. However, Jones was able to help his value with two receptions for an additional 37 yards through the air. It wasn't a stellar outing for Jones, but the 19 carries are the most for him since Week 4. Jones figures to bounce back on the ground with a favorable matchup against the Indianapolis Colts next week. He should be able to get back to his RB1 form in that one.

    From RotoBaller

Puka Nacua Oct 25 9:50am ET
    Puka Nacua

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua returned in a big way on Thursday night to help the team beat the Minnesota Vikings by a score of 30-20. While he may not have made a trip to the end zone, Nacua finished with seven receptions for 106 yards on nine targets and received two carries for five yards. Right away, even with Cooper Kupp back in the fold, Nacua was Matthew Stafford's top target. He didn't show many signs of rust or lingering pain, so Nacua should be back in fantasy lineups moving forward if he wasn't already.

    From RotoBaller

Justin Jefferson Oct 25 9:50am ET
    Justin Jefferson

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson was targeted early and often during Thursday's game against the Los Angeles Rams. Jefferson hauled in five receptions for 68 yards over the first two drives of the game. His usage slowed down a bit after that, but Jefferson finished with eight receptions on nine targets for 115 yards in the loss. This marks his second 100-yard performance of the season as Jefferson is making easy work of opposing defenses. Fantasy managers should be getting another strong performance next week against the Indianapolis Colts. Jefferson is obviously a must-start in all formats as he's one of the best receivers in the league.

    From RotoBaller

Kyren Williams Oct 25 9:40am ET
    Kyren Williams

Los Angeles Rams running back Kyren Williams still received the bulk of the backfield workload and saw the team's third-most targets. During the 30-20 win over the Minnesota Vikings, Williams finished with 23 carries for 97 yards, five receptions for 19 yards, and a touchdown on seven targets. With this performance, Williams moved into the RB2 on the season for the time being. He continues to receive the most reliable share of touches in most backfields and should see a bit more open field with the receiving corps getting healthy again. He'll look to score again in Week 9 against the Seattle Seahawks.
