Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen enters Week 13 as a model of consistency for fantasy football. He's scored at least 20 fantasy points in six straight games and is the QB5 in fantasy points per game this season. In Week 13, the Buffalo Bills host the reeling San Francisco 49ers. The defense is generally strong against quarterbacks but there are injuries to a few key players, including All-Pro pass rusher Nick Bosa. There's a chance of snow in the forecast, which could hamper offensive production. Nevertheless, Allen has been too good to fade and should be in all starting lineups this weekend.
From RotoBaller
Buffalo Bills running back James Cook projects to see plenty of usage on Sunday night against the San Francisco 49ers. The 49ers are fairly weak against fantasy football running backs this season, allowing the 10th-most points per game. Most recently, Josh Jacobs ran for 106 yards and three touchdowns against them. Cook can beat defenses on the ground or through the passing game. With the potential for hazardous weather in Buffalo, Cook may hear his name called more often. He's ranked as a high-end RB2 in Week 13.
From RotoBaller
Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford has played well in the last month. After tossing only three touchdowns in the Rams' first six games of the 2024-25 campaign, the 36-year-old signal-caller has 12 in the last five contests. Los Angeles needs some wins to keep the team's postseason hopes alive. Fantasy managers will likely see Stafford extra-motivated in Sunday's meeting with the Saints, and he'll have a good chance to produce versus a New Orleans defense that has allowed 23.6 points per game this season, one of the worst marks in the National Football League. With that in mind, Stafford deserves consideration in all fantasy formats, although he's a must-start in two-QB setups.
From RotoBaller
Buffalo Bills wide receiver Khalil Shakir has five straight games with at least six receptions as the slot receiver for quarterback Josh Allen. He has 18 more catches than the next Buffalo Bill. As Allen's go-to receiver, Shakir ranks as a WR3 against San Francisco. However, the 49ers are one of the best defenses against slot receivers this season. Plus, Shakir hasn't scored a touchdown since Week 3. Shakir should still see plenty of targets but there are some reasons to be concerned about him matching his typical stat line.
From RotoBaller
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings faces the Bills in Orchard Park for Week 13's Sunday night matchup. Last week in Green Bay -- and catching passes from backup quarterback Brandon Allen -- Jennings led the 49ers in targets with seven, finishing with five receptions for 40 yards. Fortunately, starter Brock Purdy (shoulder) is expected to play in Buffalo, but the encouraging news ends there. Buffalo's pass defense has been the eighth-toughest on fantasy wide receivers and should have a nice home-field advantage as a significant winter storm is expected to bleed into the first quarter. Most significantly, San Francisco will be missing All-Pro left tackle Trent Williams (ankle) and starting left guard Aaron Banks (concussion). Consider Jennings a risky WR3/FLEX with a significant downgrade into WR4 territory if Purdy is held out again.

Dynasty | Dolphins tight end Jonnu Smith had ten catches for 113 yards in the Dolphins loss to the Packers on Thanksgiving. Dynasty Analysis: There have been a lot of disappointments on the Miami roster this year, but Smith hasn't been one of them. He now has 25 catches on 30 targets for 301 yards and three touchdowns over the past three weeks, making him a must-start TE1 moving forward. With career highs in catches and yards already, Smith's dynasty value is on the rise, despite him being 29.
San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey is in Buffalo for a Week 13 contest against the Bills on Sunday night. The 2023 touchdown machine has not been himself on the ground since returning from double-Achilles tendinitis three weeks ago, averaging a career-low 3.5 yards per carry. Shockingly, McCaffrey has been held out of the end zone as well. McCaffrey's involvement in the passing game has been steady though, garnering 5.3 targets per game which is right in line with last year's average. Still, fantasy managers hope that Week 12's 6.3 half-PPR dud is the nadir, and there is nowhere to go but up. Besides CMC's obvious track record, there are reasons for hope. First, Buffalo has allowed the fourth-most half-PPR points to opposing running backs. Also, quarterback Brock Purdy (shoulder) is expected to be back, increasing the efficiency of the Niners' offense. However, San Francisco will again be without legendary left tackle Trent Williams (ankle) and left guard Aaron Banks (concussion) who was ruled out in the fourth quarter against Green Bay. The injuries on the line, plus speculation that McCaffrey is not yet at his sharpest, have him as a low-mid RB1 in Week 13.

Las Vegas Raiders kicker Daniel Carlson nailed two extra points and a field goal of 27 yards, but missed on tries of 55, 56, and 58 yards in a loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Black Friday. The normally sure-footed kicker stumbled on what turned out to be three separate occasions to add to what would have been an eventual lead, as the Raiders lost 17-19. Ultimately, he didn't have a chance at redemption, as Las Vegas turned the ball over to the Chiefs on a bizarre early snap that turned into a fumble that Kansas City recovered. Still, Carlson will remain the starter, and if he can get back on track, his outlook against a weak Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense could be better in Week 14. The Raiders offense looks much better with O'Connell leading the show, and that could lead to more consistent field goal opportunities for the veteran placekicker.
From RotoBaller
Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Tre Tucker caught just one pass in his team's Week 13 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, but he made the most of it. On his big play, he streaked across the middle of the field before turning vertical and sped up the sideline, tracking down a moon ball from quarterback Aidan O'Connell and outracing the defender before being tackled and getting the ball into the end zone. He also had one rush for 11 yards. It's not encouraging to see Tucker only targeted one time, though. For fantasy purposes, it would be better to see him more involved, but he's usually the third and sometimes just the fourth option in the passing game. It seems like WR Jakobi Meyers and tight end Brock Bowers are the only two reliable pass-catchers on this team. Tucker will face a porous Tampa Bay Buccaneers secondary in Week 14, though. That could afford him more opportunities for big plays, but it's still too risky to start him in all but the deepest of fantasy football leagues.
From RotoBaller
Las Vegas Raiders running back Ameer Abdullah rushed 10 times for 39 yards and caught two passes for 14 yards in his team's Week 13 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. However, it was in the return game that his presence was most felt, as he logged punt returns of 12 and 18 yards and returned a kickoff 68 yards, leading to a drive that started on the Chiefs 26-yard line. That resulted in a touchdown. Despite the loss, Abdullah impressed as a returner, and may have earned a larger role in that area moving forward. At 31 years old, he still has some juice. Fantasy-wise, though, he didn't have a huge day, and RB Alexander Mattison (ankle), the starter, could return in Week 14, making Abdullah's value extremely questionable as anything more than a handcuff.
From RotoBaller
Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers again had a big day for fantasy managers in Week 13. He caught six of his 11 targets for 97 yards, scoring 15.7 PPR fantasy points. He continues to beat coverages handily with his crisp route running and excellent separation ability. While he wasn't able to haul in nearly half of his targets, he showed chemistry with quarterback Aidan O'Connell, who appears to be a clear upgrade over QB Gardner Minshew II (collarbone). Moving forward, Meyers cannot be benched in PPR fantasy leagues. He's one of the most underrated players at his position in the league, and with tight end Brock Bowers playing at such a high level, defenses are struggling with coverage assignments. Meyers is an easy WR1/WR2 with plenty of upside heading into a Week 14 matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They could have a bottom-5 pass defense after dealing with injuries in the secondary.
From RotoBaller
The Jacksonville Jaguars present a great slump-busting chance for Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud, who is a fringe QB1 candidate in the Week 13 matchup. Last year's Offensive Rookie of the Year has been a fantasy disappointment relative to where he was drafted, throwing just 14 touchdowns and ranking behind the likes of Sam Darnold and Bo Nix. To the credit of the second-year quarterback, a poor pass-protecting offensive line that has allowed more yardage lost to sacks than anyone in the NFL certainly has been a major factor. The Jags, however, rank 32nd against fantasy quarterbacks, allow the fourth-most air yards, second-most yards after catch, and have the second-worst pressure percentage in the league. This week is a prime candidate for Stroud to turn things around.
From RotoBaller
Barring anything highly unexpected, Las Vegas Raiders rookie tight end Brock Bowers cemented himself as the single-best player at his position in the league with a monster performance, catching 10 of his 14 targets for 140 yards and a touchdown in Week 13 in a loss to the Chiefs on Black Friday. Like many other defenses, the Kansas City Chiefs had no answer for his ridiculous skillset. He can run routes like a wide receiver, can shake defenders out of their shoes, has excellent hands and football IQ, and is a matchup nightmare one-on-one with any defender in the league. He's an elite fantasy TE1 and will probably finish as this year's TE1 while putting up WR1 numbers. At this rate, he could be a first-round pick in next year's fantasy drafts. He'll face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 14. Expect more dominance from the Raiders' brightest star.
From RotoBaller
The Las Vegas Raiders defense/special teams scored six fantasy points largely by sacking Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes five times in a 19-17 loss on Friday. Pass-rush specialists Maxx Crosby and K'Lavon Chaisson were able to exploit mismatches with the Chiefs' struggling exterior offensive linemen. However, this doesn't move the needle much for the unit for the rest of 2024 in fantasy football. They still struggle to stop opposing offenses from scoring. The heavily ball-control focused Chiefs offense scored 19 points, which isn't a ton, but LV wasn't able to force a single turnover, making it difficult for them to rack up points on fantasy scoreboards. They'll face an elite Tampa Bay Buccaneers offense in Week 14 and shouldn't be started in fantasy leagues.
From RotoBaller
Houston Texans wide receiver Tank Dell will take on one of the worst pass defenses in the NFL when Houston travels to Jacksonville in Week 13, but he remains an unpredictable WR3/Flex option in an up-and-down offense. He is averaging more than 10 yards per target in the two games since fellow receiver Nico Collins returned, but hauled in seven catches total across both contests, signaling he is likely to be a boom-or-bust option. Jacksonville ranks 29th in air yards allowed and 31st in yards after the catch, so there certainly is home-run potential for someone in the Texans' offense, but Dell's lack of volume comes with some risk.
From RotoBaller
Los Angeles Chargers kicker Cameron Dicker is once again an excellent fantasy option in Week 13 lineups when the Chargers face the Atlanta Falcons. Dicker has been consistent with nice upside all season, scoring nine or more fantasy points in six of the past seven games. Kicker is always fantasy's most unpredictable position, but Dicker has been as close to a K1 lock as can be, and should be right back in that ranking this week.
From RotoBaller
San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brandon Allen could get a second consecutive start filling in for starter Brock Purdy (shoulder) when the 49ers play at the Buffalo Bills on Sunday night. Head coach Kyle Shanahan said on Friday that he expects Purdy to play, but "lots of things could happen between now and then." In last week's 38-10 loss to the Packers in Green Bay, Allen completed 17-of-29 attempts for 199 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. In 10 career starts, Allen has only provided two fantasy-useful performances: A two-touchdown, 193-yard, zero-interception performance in his first career start with Denver back in 2019 and a two-touchdown, 371-yard, zero-interception game with the Bengals in 2021. A large snowstorm is predicted on Sunday in Western New York, and although most of the snow is supposed to fall before kickoff, it could still be windy. Even in perfect weather, the career-backup Allen would not be a recommended fantasy starter against a good Buffalo passing defense.
From RotoBaller
Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Aidan O'Connell was surprisingly great in his team's unfortunate 17-19 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. Despite not being able to win, this was a statement game for the second-year pro. He connected on 23 of his 35 throws for an impressive 340 yards and two touchdowns. He connected with sensational tight end Brock Bowers for an impressive 33-yard touchdown that saw him step up in the pocket and float the pass beautifully past two defenders for the score. He also hit WR Tre Tucker with an impressive moon ball that went for another score. Unfortunately, center Jackson Powers-Johnson snapped the ball early with 11 seconds left in the game, and the Chiefs recovered, leading to a Las Vegas loss. But AOC cemented himself as the clear starter and showed impressive poise. He could be in for another big day against a weak Tampa Bay Buccaneers secondary in Week 14.
From RotoBaller
Fantasy managers rostering Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins are dreaming of big-time points against a bad Jacksonville Jaguars defense in Week 13. The star receiver has a ready-made matchup against a defense that has allowed the second-most yards after the catch, fourth-most total yards, and third-most points against fantasy receivers. Houston has had pass protection issues, but Collins is still averaging 89 yards on nearly eight targets, and there's no reason to think Houston wants him to see less of the ball against one of the NFL's worst defenses. He should be a lineup lock this week.
From RotoBaller
Coming off a season-worst 22 rushing yards last week, Houston Texans running back Joe Mixon has an excellent chance for a get-right game against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 13. The Jags rank 31st against fantasy running backs and have allowed more yards after the catch than everyone except New Orleans, giving a highly involved running back a great opportunity to rack up points. The former Cincinnati Bengal has been consistently productive in his first season in Houston, piling up six top-10 finishes among running backs in just nine games. Any fantasy manager rostering Mixon should have him glued into their Week 13 lineup.
