Breece Hall Oct 27 8:20pm CT
    Breece Hall

New York Jets running back Breece Hall carried the ball 16 times for 80 yards and caught one of his three targets for nine yards in a 25-22 loss to the New England Patriots in Week 8. Hall turned in a solid game on the ground but saw Braelon Allen vulture a short touchdown from him while also siphoning away 12 carries in the close loss. Hall's output in the passing game also comes as a disappointment after he racked up 11 catches for 159 yards in his previous two games. He will be a solid RB1 in fantasy heading into a Week 9 Thursday night matchup against the Houston Texans.

Kirk Cousins Oct 27 8:20pm CT
    Kirk Cousins

Atlanta Falcons quarterback Kirk Cousins enjoyed another big day versus Tampa Bay, completing 23 of 29 passes for 276 yards and four touchdowns without throwing a pick. The 36-year-old signal-caller even chipped in 16 yards on three carries. The veteran QB probably wishes he could face the Buccaneers every week, now with 785 yards and an 8:1 TD:INT in two games versus their divisional foe. He'll finish the week as a top-five QB for fantasy, however, the 13-year pro has been fairly pedestrian otherwise, averaging 220 yards per game with a 6:6 TD:INT, those two games versus the Bucs notwithstanding. Cousins will get a somewhat favorable matchup in Week 9 against the Cowboys and figures to be a QB2 with QB1 upside again.

Aaron Rodgers Oct 27 8:10pm CT
    Aaron Rodgers

New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers completed 17 of his 28 passes for 233 yards and two touchdowns in a 25-22 loss to the New England Patriots in Week 8. Rodgers and the Jets turned in an uneven performance in losing to the underdog Patriots as they struggled to move the ball at times and were unable to hold onto a five-point lead with three minutes left in the fourth quarter. Rodgers' touchdown passes went to Tyler Conklin and Xavier Gipson in the close loss to their AFC East rivals. The veteran quarterback came into the game dealing with hamstring and knee injuries but he appeared to emerge from the contest without any further injury. Rodgers will look to regroup ahead of Week 9's Thursday night game against the Houston Texans.

    From RotoBaller

Lamar Jackson Oct 27 8:10pm CT
    Lamar Jackson

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson posted his most inefficient throwing day but is able to put together a QB1-level fantasy performance. He registered 289 yards and two touchdowns while throwing 23-for-38 and added 46 yards on eight carries. Jackson led the offense down the field to get a late-game lead when Derrick Henry punched in a two-yard score, but was unable to make up for their defense's mistakes in a final game-winning drive. The Ravens' third-down offense couldn't convert for most of the game either. That said, the two-time MVP still posted a high-quality fantasy day. They'll return home for a Week 9 matchup against the Denver Broncos.

Calvin Ridley Oct 27 8:00pm CT
    Calvin Ridley

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Calvin Ridley caught ten passes on a season-high 15 targets for 143 yards in the 52-14 loss to Detroit on Sunday. The squeaky wheel got the grease in this one as Ridley finally broke through with a huge performance in his seventh game as a Titan. It was abundantly clear that the game plan was to hyper-target Ridley, especially with DeAndre Hopkins gone, and it paid off in a big way for those that played the speedster. He was in-sync with quarterback Mason Rudolph from the jump, putting up hauling in passes of 26 and 47 yards in the first quarter that helped him reach the century mark in that period. While the rest of the afternoon was relatively quiet, fantasy managers can only rejoice when seeing a performance like this from Ridley who has been quite a let down through the first part of the 2024 season. Up next is a Week 9 intra-conference clash with the New England Patriots in Nashville.

Elijah Moore Oct 27 8:00pm CT
    Elijah Moore

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Elijah Moore caught eight of his 12 targets for 85 yards in a 29-24 win over the Baltimore Ravens in Week 8. Moore led the Browns in targets and catches while finishing second in receiving yards in the upset win over the Ravens. The eight-catch, 85-yard game from Moore was easily his best effort of the 2024 season as he showed instant chemistry with new starting quarterback Jameis Winston. Moore is all of a sudden on the fantasy radar as a possible flex option moving forward now that Winston is under center. He will look to stay hot against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 9.

    From RotoBaller

David Njoku Oct 27 8:00pm CT
    David Njoku

Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku caught five of his seven targets for 61 yards and a touchdown in a 29-24 win over the Baltimore Ravens in Week 8. Njoku finished fourth on the Browns in receiving yards while hauling in a 23-yard touchdown pass from Jameis Winston in the third quarter, his second touchdown catch over his past two games. The veteran tight end is looking like a top option at the position moving forward with the Cleveland offense all of a sudden looking competent with Winston under center. Treat Njoku as a high-end TE1 heading into Week 9 against the Los Angeles Chargers.

    From RotoBaller

Dustin Hopkins Oct 27 8:00pm CT
    Dustin Hopkins

Cleveland Browns kicker Dustin Hopkins made all three of his field-goal attempts and added two extra points in a 29-24 win over the Baltimore Ravens in Week 8. Hopkins hit field goals from 28, 33, and 48 yards out in the upset win over the Ravens. The veteran kicker has now made 13 of his 16 attempts through eight games. With the Cleveland offense looking the best it has all year in Jameis Winston's first start of the season, Hopkins is all of a sudden looking like a viable fantasy option heading into Week 9 against the Los Angeles Chargers.

    From RotoBaller

    Nick Westbrook-Ikhine Oct 27 8:00pm CT
    Nick Westbrook-Ikhine

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Nick Westbrook-Ikhine caught two passes on four targets or 39 yards and a touchdown in a blowout loss to the Lions on Sunday. With the departure of DeAndre Hopkins, all signs pointed to Tyler Boyd being the WR who would step up vs. Detroit but it was Westbrook-Ikhine who had the much better fantasy day. Boyd still out-targeted the former Indiana star, but the latter caught the only touchdown pass on the day from quarterback Mason Rudolph, a well-run slant from six yards out. Calvin Ridley is still the alpha wideout in this offense by a long shot based on his 39% target share on Sunday, but Westbrook-Ikhine has scored a touchdown in three straight games and continues to be a reliable target for whoever is playing quarterback for the Titans. He will look to continue his scoring streak next week against the Patriots.

    Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah Oct 27 8:00pm CT
    Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah

The Cleveland Browns defense played well in a 29-24 win over the Baltimore Ravens in Week 8. The Ravens' offense came into the game leading the league in points per game and yards per game but the Browns held them under their averages while pulling off the upset win over their divisional rivals. Cleveland's defense sacked Lamar Jackson three times in the contest, getting one apiece from Za'Darius Smith, Ogno Okoronkwo, and Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, although Owusu-Koramoah was carted off the field in the third quarter with a neck injury. Cleveland's defense will look to stay hot against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 9.

Jonnu Smith Oct 27 8:00pm CT
    Jonnu Smith

Miami Dolphins tight end Jonnu Smith caught four of six targets for 20 yards in Sunday's 28-27 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. This performance was a big step back from his seven-catch, 96-yard outing last week against the Indianapolis Colts. His day could've been slightly better if not for a dropped pass that hit him in the chest. Smith receiving six targets is encouraging for fantasy managers, especially given the number of viable pass-catchers Miami has. Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) returning to the lineup only helps his outlook moving forward. Look for Smith's connection to improve with Tua down the stretch. It starts next week against the division rival Buffalo Bills, who rank in the middle of the pack against opposing tight ends.

    From RotoBaller

Tony Pollard Oct 27 7:50pm CT
    Tony Pollard

Tennessee Titans running back Tony Pollard rushed 20 times for 94 yards, adding three receptions on four targets for 23 yards in a 38-point loss to Detroit. Pollard expectedly got a big workload with Tyjae Spears sitting out due to a hamstring injury, and was very efficient on the afternoon with a healthy 4.7 yards per carry against an extremely tough run defense. It was the third time this season Pollard has put up over 100 scrimmage yards in a game, proving to be a very trustworthy RB2 for fantasy managers. While the 1-6 Titans will likely be playing in a negative game script most of the season, Pollard is clearly one of the only featured offensive players on this team and should continue to see a lot of touches, making him a great floor play on a week-to-week basis. He will remain a great play next week when the Titans face the soft run defense of New England.

Terry McLaurin Oct 27 7:50pm CT
    Terry McLaurin

Washington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin caught five of his eight targets for 125 yards in their victory over the Chicago Bears. This was a new season-high in yards for the Ohio State product. His longest reception of the day came off a 61-yard pass. After struggling through the first two weeks, McLaurin has averaged an impressive 18.0 PPR points per game since. During this stretch, he eclipsed 100 yards on three occasions and caught at least five passes in all but one game. Fantasy managers should continue to view McLaurin as a high-end WR2 heading into Week 9 when he faces the New York Giants, who have allowed the 13th-fewest PPR points to opposing wideouts.

    From RotoBaller

Tua Tagovailoa Oct 27 7:50pm CT
    Tua Tagovailoa

Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) returned to action on Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals after missing the last four games due to a concussion. The 26-year-old completed 28 of 38 pass attempts for 234 yards and one touchdown in Sunday's 28-27 loss. He also rushed the ball three times for 13 yards. The offense looked much more explosive, as expected, compared to the previous four weeks with Skylar Thompson, Tyler Huntley, and Tim Boyle. Another encouraging sign was how well the offensive line was pass-protecting compared to previous weeks. With the return of guard Isaiah Wynn looming, the pass protection only looks to improve. Fantasy managers must be pleased with his progress, considering the circumstances he has faced this year. Next Sunday, Tagovailoa and the Dolphins will travel to Buffalo to face their division rival, whom he has struggled against in his career.

    From RotoBaller

Noah Brown Oct 27 7:50pm CT
    Noah Brown

Washington Commanders wide receiver Noah Brown played the hero as he caught the game-winning TD catch as time expired. Brown caught just two of his five targets for a mere 21 yards before the game's final play. However, Brown salvaged his fantasy day by bringing in the 52-yard Hail Mary pass from Jayden Daniels to seal the victory. Despite the incredible finish, the 28-year-old remains an inconsistent WR4 going forward. Over the past three games, Brown has only caught eight total passes while being deployed as the No.2 wideout. For now, he should only be viewed as a low-end flex option in deep 14+ team formats.

    From RotoBaller

Cedric Tillman Oct 27 7:50pm CT
    Cedric Tillman

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Cedric Tillman caught seven of his nine targets for 99 yards and two touchdowns in a 29-24 win over the Baltimore Ravens in Week 8. Tillman turned in his second strong outing in a row since the trade of Amari Cooper to the Buffalo Bills ahead of Week 7. The second-year wideout's second touchdown was the game-winner as he got wide open behind the Baltimore defense and hauled in a 38-yard score from Jameis Winston to give the Browns a 29-24 lead with 1:04 left in the fourth quarter. Tillman is quickly becoming a solid WR2 in fantasy and should be in all starting lineups heading into Week 9's matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers.

    From RotoBaller

Zach Ertz Oct 27 7:50pm CT
    Zach Ertz

Washington Commanders tight end Zach Ertz led the team in receptions in their victory over the Chicago Bears. Ertz brought in seven of his season-high 11 targets for 77 yards. Since struggling during Weeks 3 through 5, Ertz has now scored double-digit PPR points in each of the past three games and has seen at least five targets and four receptions in each of them. Without a proven No.2 wideout, the veteran tight end has emerged as a productive option in this offense and should be viewed as a high-floor TE1 going forward. Next week, Ertz will face the New York Giants, who have allowed the third-fewest PPR points to opposing tight ends.

    From RotoBaller

Austin Seibert Oct 27 7:50pm CT
    Austin Seibert

Washington Commanders kicker Austin Seibert had another productive afternoon as he went 4-for-5 on field goals in their victory over the Chicago Bears. His lone miss came off a blocked attempt from 51 yards out. His longest conversion was from 47 yards out. Since joining Washington in Week 2, Seibert has only missed two field goal attempts and has been perfect from within 49 yards. Fantasy managers should continue to view the 27-year-old as a high-end fantasy option, given how impressive the Washington offense has looked. He should remain locked into all starting lineups going forward.

    From RotoBaller

Jerry Jeudy Oct 27 7:50pm CT
    Jerry Jeudy

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jerry Jeudy caught five of his eight targets for 79 yards in a 29-24 win over the Baltimore Ravens in Week 8. Jeudy turned in his best game of the season in the upset win of the Ravens, topping his previous season-high in receiving by six yards. The entire Cleveland passing attack benefitted greatly by having Jameis Winston and not Deshaun Watson under center as they set season-highs in points scored and passing yards in the win over their AFC North rivals. Jeudy will be on the map as a flex option heading into Week 9 against the Los Angeles Chargers.

    From RotoBaller

Troy Franklin Oct 27 7:50pm CT
    Troy Franklin

Denver Broncos wide receiver Troy Franklin caught 1-of-2 targets for six yards in Sunday's 28-14 win over the Carolina Panthers, adding three yards on his lone carry. It appeared that the rookie wideouts usage was trending up over the last few weeks, and Sunday's outing against Carolina was an excellent spot for a breakout game against one of the league's worst defenses. However, WR1 Courtland Sutton totaled 100 yards on his eight receptions, and tight end Adam Trautman had a surprising performance as the team's second-leading receiver (4/85/1). Fantasy managers likely weren't relying on Franklin -- still, it would have been encouraging to see him more involved in the game plan. The Broncos will square off against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 9, so perhaps the Oregon product sees more work in a more competitive matchup.
