Darnell Mooney Dec 22 11:10pm CT
    Darnell Mooney

Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Darnell Mooney was the team's leading receiver on Sunday with five receptions for 82 yards but was unable to find the end zone as Bijan Robinson punched in both of Atlanta's offensive touchdowns in the lopsided 34-7 win. Drake London also caught five passes but totaled just 59 yards on his receptions. He also left the game in the fourth quarter with a hamstring injury, although coach Raheem Morris stated after the game that London could have gone back in, however, with a comfortable lead there was no reason for him to reenter. Mooney is nearing his first 1000-yard season since 2021, and can likely still be trusted again next week with the chemistry he showed with Michael Penix Jr., but in the matchup with Washington he is probably a WR3 at best. Managers will want to monitor London's status throughout the week, and if the hamstring injury were to cause him to miss time, then Mooney could be in line for a few more targets.

    T.J. Hockenson Dec 22 10:50pm CT
    T.J. Hockenson

Minnesota Vikings tight end T.J. Hockenson caught 2-of-5 targets in Sunday's 27-24 win over the Seattle Seahawks. The sixth-year pro was used sparsely on a day where wide receiver Justin Jefferson commanded most of quarterback Sam Darnold's attention (10/144/2). Otherwise, all other Vikings pass-catchers combined for just 12 receptions and 102 yards against a Seattle defense that hung tough most of the afternoon. It's another disappointing performance for Hockenson. The former Iowa Hawkeye has had two nice games in which he combined for 15 receptions and 186 yards. However, he's recorded only 19 catches and 192 yards in the other six. Things will get a bit easier for him in Week 17 against a Green Bay Packers defense that had allowed the eighth-most fantasy points per game to TEs ahead of this weekend. For now, though, fantasy managers may want to consider Hockenson as more of a TE2 with upside.

Michael Penix Jr. Dec 22 10:40pm CT
    Michael Penix Jr.

Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Penix Jr. led the Falcons to victory on Sunday in a 34-7 thrashing of the New York Giants, however, it was the run game and defense that was truly responsible for the win. Penix Jr. was 18-for-27 (67%) for 202 yards, but did not throw a touchdown and he tossed one interception, while the Falcons scored two TDs via the rush and the defense had two pick-sixes. The rookie QB wasn't asked to do too much and didn't really need to; look for more of the same next week when the Falcons take on the Commanders in D.C. in a game with playoff implications for both teams. The Commanders have been solid against the pass but not so much against the run, with one of the most fantasy-friendly rush defenses in the NFL. Saquon Barkley just ran for 150 yards and two scores against them in Week 16, so look for Bijan Robinson to carry the load next Sunday, likely leaving Penix Jr. as a low-end QB2 again in Week 17.

Mike Gesicki Dec 22 10:40pm CT
    Mike Gesicki

Cincinnati Bengals tight end Mike Gesicki had two catches for 14 yards in Sunday's win over the Browns. The veteran had another underwhelming showing in Week 16. However, that's not surprising with Joe Burrow primarily focused on feeding Ja'Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, and Chase Brown. With that in mind, Gesicki should continue to have a tough time getting involved moving ahead, keeping him off the radar for fantasy managers when the Bengals play the Broncos in Week 17.

    From RotoBaller

Sterling Shepard Dec 22 10:30pm CT
    Sterling Shepard

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Sterling Shepard (hamstring) injured his hamstring in the Sunday night game against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 16 and was ruled out. It was a frustrating night for anyone that used Shepard in their starting fantasy lineups in deeper leagues, as he ends up finishing the contest with only one reception on three targets for 20 yards. The 31-year-old veteran pass-catcher injured his hamstring during a run in the third quarter. If he is unable to play in Week 17 versus the division-rival Carolina Panthers in a good matchup, Trey Palmer would most likely serve as Tampa's No. 3 wideout behind Mike Evans and rookie Jalen McMillan. Shepard came into the Week 16 game on Sunday night outside of the top 50 receivers in half-PPR points scored per game this year, so he hasn't been much more than a bye-week streamer, even with Chris Godwin (ankle) out for the season.

    From RotoBaller

Deebo Samuel Dec 22 10:30pm CT
    Deebo Samuel

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel Sr. finally broke out of a five-game slump during a 29-17 defeat to the Dolphins in Miami on Sunday. Samuel Sr. caught seven of a co-team-high nine targets for 96 yards and a touchdown. He added five rushing attempts for 25 yards. Samuel Sr. looked angry and determined with his touches for the first time in weeks, scoring his 16-yard touchdown by running through three defenders. It's probably too little, too late for Samuel Sr.'s fantasy managers who suffered through five consecutive weeks of sub-five-point half-PPR performances, but anyone still rostering Samuel Sr. now has to at least consider him for a start in Week 17 coming off his most productive game of the season. San Francisco gets the offensive powerhouse Detroit Lions in Santa Clara on Monday night, which should force the 49ers into a pass-heavy game script, with a similar amount of carries to Sunday if rookie running back Isaac Guerendo (foot, hamstring) misses another game.

Jordan Addison Dec 22 10:30pm CT
    Jordan Addison

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison brought in 5-of-8 targets for 35 yards and a touchdown in his team's 27-24 win against the Seattle Seahawks. Addison was Minnesota's second-leading wideout on the day, but it didn't amount to much while target-hog teammate Justin Jefferson racked up 144 yards and two touchdowns on his 13 targets (ten receptions). Still, the 22-year-old came through for fantasy managers that stuck with him -- notching his seventh TD in the last eight games. While it wasn't the most productive outing from a yardage standpoint, Addison's owners can take solace in that he was still heavily involved -- commanding at least eight targets for the fifth time since Week 11. The former first-round pick will get a tougher ask in the fantasy championship next weekend against the Green Bay Packers secondary.

    From RotoBaller

Tee Higgins Dec 22 10:20pm CT
    Tee Higgins

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins had 58 yards and a touchdown off a team-high eight catches in the win over the Browns in Week 16. The wideout continues to get it done for fantasy managers, finding the end zone in five of his previous six appearances. Although Ja'Marr Chase commands attention from Joe Burrow from week-to-week, Higgins has remained involved throughout most of the year. The 25-year-old was listed on the injury report heading into this contest. Fortunately, he was good to go. With the Bengals looking for a spot in the postseason, Higgins remains a must-start versus a tough Broncos defense in Week 17.

    From RotoBaller

Andrei Iosivas Dec 22 10:20pm CT
    Andrei Iosivas

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Andrei Iosivas caught all three targets for 53 yards in Sunday's much-needed victory over the Browns. He also had a touchdown, finding the end zone off a six-yard throw from Joe Burrow in the second quarter. The wideout began the year by scoring three times in the Bengals' first three games. However, he hasn't been very productive ever since. But with a career-high six touchdowns this season, Iosivas will try to keep it going in Week 17 versus the Denver Broncos. Unfortunately, while his performance in Week 16 was a step in the right direction, he can't be trusted by fantasy managers.

Jayden Daniels Dec 22 10:13pm CT
    Jayden Daniels

Dynasty | Commanders rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels completed 24-of-39 passes for 258 yards with five touchdowns and two interceptions while adding 81 rushing yards in a win against the Eagles. Dynasty Analysis: It was an odd day for Washington, who had five turnovers on the afternoon. However, Daniels proved he's never out of a game and led the team back to a huge comeback win. Daniels has exceeded even the boldest of expectations this season and has solidified himself as a true QB1 in dynasty leagues for the long run.

    From Dynasty League Fantasy

James Conner Dec 22 10:13pm CT
    James Conner

Dynasty | Cardinals running back James Conner was knocked out of a loss to Carolina with a knee injury. Dynasty Analysis: Conner was having another great day with 117 rushing yards, four catches, and 49 receiving yards before getting hurt. There's no word yet on the severity of the injury, but it's hard to see Arizona putting him back in the lineup now that they've been eliminated from playoff contention. Conner will likely end the season with a career high 1,090 rushing yards, 45 catches, 410 receiving yards and nine total touchdowns. Fresh off a contract extension, Conner is perfect target for dynasty managers this off-season who are in need of a solid RB1/2 at a decent price.

    From Dynasty League Fantasy

Chuba Hubbard Dec 22 10:13pm CT
    Chuba Hubbard

Dynasty | Panthers running back Chuba Hubbard had 152 rushing yards, four catches, 13 receiving yards, and two touchdowns in a win over Arizona. Dynasty Analysis: Hubbard has been a fantasy revelation this year and now has just under 1,200 rushing yards to go with ten touchdowns on the ground this season. He's put up borderline RB1 numbers most weeks and was easily the biggest bargain on draft day this season. Now with a contract extension and Jonathon Brooks facing a lengthy recovery, Hubbard's year promises to be no mirage. If a manager in your league has him and disagrees, he's a great trade target this off-season.

    From Dynasty League Fantasy

Bryce Young Dec 22 10:13pm CT
    Bryce Young

Dynasty | Panthers quarterback Bryce Young completed 17-of-26 passes for 158 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions in a win against Arizona. Dynasty Analysis: If there was an award for "In-Season Comeback Player of the Year," Young would win hands-down. Once completely left for dead, he's now thrown at least one touchdown pass in eight straight games. While his ten touchdowns and six interceptions since getting his job back don't exactly jump off the page, he's looked more than competent for the better part of the year. It's hard to see Carolina moving on from him at this point, so his dynasty value is going to keep rising.

    From Dynasty League Fantasy

Malik Nabers Dec 22 10:13pm CT
    Malik Nabers

Dynasty | Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison had four catches for 39 yards in an overtime loss to Carolina. Dynasty Analysis: Harrison was supposed to be the next big thing at the position, but he's honestly been outplayed by both Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr for most of the season. While his 51/726/7 season thus far has been fine, he's shown little to make us really believe he can be the next Justin Jefferson or Ja'Marr Chase, despite playing with better quarterbacks than both Nabers and Thomas (at least most of the season). Harrison's dynasty value is going to start slipping unless we see some dominant performances.

    From Dynasty League Fantasy

Sam Darnold Dec 22 10:13pm CT
    Sam Darnold

Dynasty | Vikings quarterback Sam Darnold completed 22-of-35 passes for 246 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions in a win against Seattle. Dynasty Analysis: With a whopping 15 touchdowns and just one interception in his past six games, Darnold is clearly making Minnesota think about what they need to do moving forward at the position. JJ McCarthy is waiting in the wings, but it's hard to imagine him doing anything close to what Darnold has done this season. Regardless, a quarterback who is likely going to throw for more than 4,000 yards and upwards of 35 touchdowns is going to be starting somewhere soon. The Jets have to be kicking themselves at this point.

    From Dynasty League Fantasy

Kayshon Boutte Dec 22 10:13pm CT
    Kayshon Boutte

Dynasty | Patriots wide receiver Kayshon Boutte had five catches for 95 yards and a touchdown in a loss to the Bills. Dynasty Analysis: Boutte has been a dreadfully slow riser, but he's had some great moments this year and looks like he could be a staple for New England moving forward. While we need to see many more games like this, Boutte is a roster lock for the off-season and could have some nice upside going into next year.

    From Dynasty League Fantasy

Trevor Lawrence Dec 22 10:13pm CT
    Trevor Lawrence

Dynasty | Jaguars receiver Brian Thomas Jr had nine catches for 132 yards and a touchdown in a loss against the Raiders. Dynasty Analysis: Now armed with 49 targets the past four games and a 73/1,088/9 line as a rookie, Thomas has simply solidified his status as a top-ten dynasty wide receiver. When you consider he's spent the year on a team in turmoil and without Trevor Lawrence for a big chunk of the season, this is even more impressive. As Michael Jordan would say, "The ceiling is the roof," for this young receiver.

    From Dynasty League Fantasy

Kyle Pitts Dec 22 10:13pm CT
    Kyle Pitts

Dynasty | Raiders tight end Brock Bowers had 11 catches for 99 yards in a win against Jacksonville. Dynasty Analysis: Bowers now has 101 catches for 1,067 yards and four touchdowns on the season, becoming the first rookie tight end with 1,000 receiving yards since Kyle Pitts (remember him). Before that, the last to achieve the feat was Mike Ditka about 1,000 years ago. Bowers has solidified his status as the TE1 in dynasty leagues and at this point, it's not really that close.

    From Dynasty League Fantasy

Keon Coleman Dec 22 10:10pm CT
    Keon Coleman

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Keon Coleman caught one pass for 17 yards in the team's 24-21 victory over the New England Patriots. The rookie didn't log a reception until early in the second half. He was targeted on a deep pass in the second quarter that landed in the hands of a New England defender. The Buffalo passing offense was out of sync on Sunday. Josh Allen threw for 154 yards. Coleman has four targets in the two games since his return from a wrist injury. It'll be difficult to insert the second-round pick into starting lineups when the Bills face the New York Jets in Week 17.

    From RotoBaller

Chase Brown Dec 22 10:10pm CT
    Chase Brown

Cincinnati Bengals running back Chase Brown ran for 91 yards off 18 carries in Sunday's win over the Browns. He added three catches for 18 yards. Although Brown didn't find the end zone, fantasy managers were likely satisfied with his performance. With Cincinnati still in the playoff hunt, the Bengals will look for a win over the Broncos in Week 17. The Denver defense has allowed a fifth-best 18.7 points per game during the 2024-25 campaign. While Brown will likely have a tougher time getting it done for managers, he remains a must-start in all fantasy formats.
