New York Giants rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers (groin) was not seen during Friday's practice, according to Dan Duggan of The Athletic. Duggan reported that the LSU standout is dealing with the same groin issue he had earlier in the season during Week 7. However, Nabers was able to suit up that week and did not miss any time due to it. Fantasy managers should pay close attention to his status throughout the weekend in case he faces another setback. The former first-round pick has shown elite upside throughout his rookie campaign, as he has averaged an impressive 17.4 PPR points per game while playing on a struggling offensive unit. If Nabers can suit up this weekend, fantasy managers should feel confident starting him in all formats as a low-end WR1.
From RotoBaller
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith (hamstring) was not seen at Friday's practice, according to Zach Berman of The Athletic. Smith has been unable to practice all week and is now in danger of missing this weekend's game against the Los Angeles Rams. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status over the weekend, as he will likely carry an injury designation. The former first-round pick has struggled to find consistency this season, as he has scored at least 15.0 PPR points on six occasions but fell under double-digits in the other three. If Smith cannot play, fantasy managers should expect A.J. Brown to see a heavy dose of targets, with tight end Dallas Goedert likely operating as the No.2 pass-catching open.
From RotoBaller
Houston Texans defensive end Will Anderson Jr. (ankle) logged three practice sessions this week and is set to return this weekend to face the Tennessee Titans, according to Aaron Wilson of KPRC2. The former No.3 overall selection of the 2023 NFL Draft missed the past two games with this ankle injury but is expected to return in this divisional tilt. Before the injury, the sophomore edge rusher tallied 27 tackles (20 solo), 7.5 sacks and one pass deflection. Fantasy managers in IDP formats should view Anderson as a solid option for sacks this weekend. In addition, with Anderson set to return, the Texans are shaping up to be an elite streaming option facing an inconsistent Tennessee offense.

Washington Commanders kicker Austin Seibert (hip) is "trending in the right way," according to head coach Dan Quinn. The 28-year-old has been sidelined over the past two weeks with a hip injury but is shaping up to have a good chance to return to action this weekend. This week, Seibert remained a limited participant during practice. Fantasy managers should pay close attention to his status during Friday's session as it may provide clarity on his availability. In his absence, Zane Gonzalez took over starting duties. Before this injury, Seibert was enjoying a nice breakout campaign as he went 25-for-27 on attempts and a perfect 27-for-27 on extra points. If he can return to action on Sunday, fantasy managers should view him as a high-end option in all formats, as he is facing a struggling Dallas defense.
From RotoBaller
Arizona Cardinals running back James Conner has boom potential in their Week 12 road matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. The Cardinals are coming off a bye week, which afforded Conner much-needed rest after his heavy workload through the first ten games of the season. Conner is having one of his best seasons as a pro and is on pace for 1,185 yards and eight touchdowns. He'll look to maintain that pace against a familiar opponent in the Seahawks, against whom he has racked up over 300 total yards and four touchdowns in four games as a Cardinal. This should be a favorable matchup for the Cardinals' rushing attack, and Conner should be started in all leagues.
From RotoBaller
Washington Commanders defensive back Marshon Lattimore (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's divisional tilt against the Dallas Cowboys, according to Nicki Jhabvala of the Washington Post. The star defensive back was acquired via a trade by the Washington Commanders in Week 10 but has yet to debut with his new club. This week, Lattimore could not return to practice as he is still recovering from the hamstring injury he sustained in Week 7. Fantasy managers in IDP formats should continue to monitor his status next week as he could have a chance to return to action to face the Tennessee Titans. As a result, Mike Sainristil will likely cover CeeDee Lamb this weekend, opening up more opportunities for Benjamin St-Juste and Noah Igbinoghene.
From RotoBaller
Dynasty | Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson completed 21-of-28 passes for 270 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions in a loss to Cleveland. Dynasty Analysis: Wilson hasn't been spectacular for Pittsburgh, but he's been solid. Thursday's weather was a mess, but he was still able to find Calvin Austin for some chunk gains. The challenge for Pittsburgh has been a tendency to settle for field goals instead of touchdowns, something that has limited Wilson's fantasy appeal greatly. He's more QB2 than QB1 at the moment, but he's at least shown some solid signs of growth.
Dynasty | Browns running back Nick Chubb rushed for 59 yards and two touchdowns in a win against Pittsburgh. Dynasty Analysis: Through five games, Chubb has 222 rushing yards and three touchdowns on just three yards per carry. It's clear he's not fully recovered from last season's gruesome injury and Cleveland has limited his touches as a result. Chubb may be better next season, but right now he's a touchdown-dependent player who has a pretty low weekly floor. His dynasty value is going to suffer until we see more, though this game was at least a step in the right direction.
Dynasty | Browns wide receiver Cedric Tillman had two catches for 28 yards in a win against the Steelers. Dynasty Analysis: Uh oh. After three straight solid games, Tillman has now posted just five total catches for 75 scoreless yards the past two weeks. Even worse, it seems Jerry Jeudy is emerging as Jameis Winston's top target. The quick dynasty ascension for Tillman will stop for the moment until we see more moving forward. At this point, he's a tough start in dynasty leagues.
Dynasty | Browns wide receiver Jerry Jeudy had six catches for 85 yards in a win against Pittsburgh. Dynasty Analysis: Jeudy has now posted 24 catches for 379 yards and a touchdown in his past four games, finally looking like the player most everyone thought he could be years ago. While this could just be a hot stretch, Jeudy is suddenly looking like a viable roster choice and a player for contending teams to target. His dynasty value seems to be on the upswing.
Dynasty | Steelers wide receiver Mike Williams failed to catch a pass in a loss to Cleveland. Dynasty Analysis: Williams has had all of one target the past three games and looks like a complete non-factor at this point. After flaming out in New York and failing to reach consistent levels with the Chargers, his career honestly looks like it's running on fumes. With a dynasty ranking and value plunging, he's a player destined to be seen on waiver wires soon.
The Pittsburgh Steelers recorded one sack, three forced fumbles, and an interception while surrendering 24 points to the Cleveland Browns in a Week 12 loss. It was a quiet night for DPOY candidate T.J. Watt, but linebacker Nick Herbig and defensive back Donte Jackson stepped up to make big plays in critical moments. Still, Pittsburgh's defense came up short in stopping the Browns from scoring a go-ahead touchdown with less than a minute remaining in the contest. The Steelers DST has nonetheless been consistent for fantasy purposes for much of the season and can remain in lineups against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 12.

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy (shoulder) received positive results from an MRI, according to Cam Inman of the Bay Area News Group. Inman noted that general manager John Lynch expressed that the team feels "good" about where he currently is, but both Brandon Allen and Joshua Dobbs would be ready to suit up in case Purdy cannot play on Sunday. Fantasy managers should continue monitoring Purdy's status during Friday's practice as it would likely clarify his status heading into the weekend. If Purdy cannot suit up, Brandon Allen would be in line to see first-team reps and would be viewed as a low-end QB2 in Superflex formats facing the Green Bay Packers.
From RotoBaller
Pittsburgh Steelers kicker Chris Boswell connected on two of his three field goal attempts and drilled his lone extra-point try in a 24-19 loss to the Cleveland Browns. Boswell's 58-yard attempt on Pittsburgh's first possession of the contest was just his second missed field goal of the season. He later found success from 48 and 28 yards out despite consistent winds and snowfall in Cleveland. Although fantasy managers who were treated to Boswell's superb Week 11 performance may be disappointed in his showing on Thursday night, the 33-year-old proved that he can still offer a solid floor for fantasy in poor weather conditions. He'll continue to project as a high-end option heading into a Week 13 meeting with the Cincinnati Bengals.
From RotoBaller
Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Calvin Austin III logged three receptions for 78 yards and a touchdown on three targets in a Week 12 loss to the Cleveland Browns. He was a bright spot for a Pittsburgh offense that otherwise struggled on Thursday night. He made an impact early on by catching a 46-yard deep ball in the second quarter that set up an eventual field goal. Austin's third touchdown of the campaign, a 23-yard strike over the middle of the field, was quarterback Russell Wilson's first touchdown pass in nearly eight quarters and gave Pittsburgh a 19-18 lead with just over six minutes remaining. The 25-year-old has flashed some potential this season working opposite George Pickens. While he is not on the fantasy radar in most redraft formats, Austin is worth stashing in deeper dynasty leagues. A matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals is on tap for Week 12.
From RotoBaller
Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Pat Freiermuth finished with four receptions for 59 yards on four targets in a Week 12 loss to the Cleveland Browns. Although he didn't have a great fantasy performance, Freiermuth managed his highest yardage total of the campaign and was more involved offensively than in previous contests with Russell Wilson under center. The 26-year-old cannot be relied upon in most redraft leagues but could be an interesting streaming candidate down the stretch with plenty of enticing matchups coming up. He'll look to earn more opportunities against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 12.
From RotoBaller
According to Ari Meirov of the 33rd Team, the New York Giants are releasing quarterback Daniel Jones. Meirov noted that Jones asked for his release and that both sides are moving on. This is a surprising move, even after the Giants demoted Jones from his starting role. The New York Giants drafted the 27-year-old with the sixth overall selection in the 2019 draft from Duke. Throughout his time in the Big Apple, Jones won one playoff game and held an overall 24-44-1 record with a 64.1% completion rate. He averaged 2,430.3 yards per season with 11.7 passing and 2.5 rushing scores per season. Fantasy managers should expect Tommy Devito to operate as the team's starting quarterback going forward, with Drew Lock serving as his backup. Jones will now look for a new home in free agency and can be safely dropped from your fantasy roster in all redraft leagues.
From RotoBaller
Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver George Pickens came down with four of his seven targets for 48 yards in a 24-19 loss to the Cleveland Browns. Outside of a 31-yard deep ball he caught in the first quarter, it was a relatively quiet night for Pickens, who had four straight showings with over 70 yards heading into Thursday night. The weather conditions in Cleveland weren't ideal for big plays downfield and surely impacted Pickens' performance. While Pickens has been incredibly productive with yardage this season, his touchdown upside is limited in this Steelers offense that has struggled to find the end zone over the past two weeks. He'll look to get back on track against another divisional opponent in the Cincinnati Bengals next week.
From RotoBaller
Cleveland Browns tight end Jordan Akins brought in three of his four targets for 38 yards in their victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday evening. Akins has now seen at least four targets in each contest with Jameis Winston under center. Despite operating as the No. 2 tight end behind David Njoku, Akins is still showing some fantasy relevance, even in a reserve role. His longest reception of the evening came for 18 yards. Fantasy managers in deeper 14+ team formats should continue monitoring Akins' usage down the stretch, as he could be a viable bench option if the Cleveland offense continues to grow. For now, fantasy managers should not rely on Akins as a starter heading into his Week 13 tilt against a tough Denver Broncos defense.
From RotoBaller
Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jaylen Warren handled 11 carries for 45 yards and a touchdown while adding three receptions for 19 yards on six targets in a Week 12 loss to the Cleveland Browns. Not only did Warren find the end zone for the first time in 2024, but he also took the field for a season-high 57% of snaps. He ran hard throughout the contest and fought to gain extra yardage numerous times. The third-year pro has likely earned himself a larger role in the offense and could push for a 50-50 split with Najee Harris. He'll look to continue trending positively in a Week 13 meeting with the Cincinnati Bengals.
