DeForest Buckner Oct 24 11:50pm CT
    DeForest Buckner

Indianapolis Colts defensive tackle DeForest Buckner (ankle) upgraded to a full participant in practice on Thursday. The veteran defender was designated to return from injured reserve on Wednesday and remains eligible to practice without being activated until November 13. Of course, the Colts could opt to activate him prior to that deadline, perhaps as early as this week versus the Houston Texans. If activated, he would give the Colts' defense a major boost ahead of their key divisional battle.

Aaron Rodgers Oct 24 11:40pm CT
    Aaron Rodgers

New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers (knee, hamstring) logged a second consecutive limited practice on Thursday. The veteran signal-caller hasn't missed a snap since Week 1, but his injury status is one to monitor as it could impact his availability for Sunday's game against the New England Patriots. The last time he faced New England, Rodgers racked up 281 passing yards and a pair of touchdowns. Assuming he plays in Week 8, he'll rank as a mid-to-high fantasy QB2.

Roman Wilson Oct 24 11:40pm CT
    Roman Wilson

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Roman Wilson (hamstring) did not participate in practice on Thursday. As the Steelers prepare for Week 8 against the New York Giants, it appears they could be without their rookie wide receiver. The 23-year-old has offered minimal contributions so far this season, appearing in just one game amidst absences caused by injury or healthy scratch. He continues to look for his first career NFL target and reception.

    From RotoBaller

Evan Engram Oct 24 11:30pm CT
    Evan Engram

Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Evan Engram (hamstring) upgraded to a full participant in practice on Thursday. He had been limited on Wednesday. This improvement in status is great news for Engram and suggests that he should be able to play against the Green Bay Packers in Week 8, barring some sort of unexpected setback. The 30-year-old has been a top contributor over the last two weeks, catching 15 passes for 137 yards and one touchdown during that span. He's a very solid TE1 option for Sunday's game against the Packers.

    From RotoBaller

Gabriel Davis Oct 24 11:30pm CT
    Gabriel Davis

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Gabe Davis (knee) was officially listed as a limited participant on Thursday, maintaining that status for the second day in a row. Davis has managed to play in all seven games this year, catching 18 passes for 217 yards and two touchdowns. Even if he suits up against the Green Bay Packers this week, Davis is off the fantasy radar given his role behind Evan Engram and Brian Thomas Jr. in the Jaguars' passing offense.

    From RotoBaller

Travis Etienne Oct 24 11:20pm CT
    Travis Etienne

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne Jr. (hamstring) logged his second consecutive limited practice on Thursday. The 25-year-old picked up the injury during Week 6 in London and hasn't been able to play since then. Although it sounds like he has a real chance to play this Sunday against the Green Bay Packers, Etienne is a risky fantasy play given that Tank Bigsby has seemingly taken over the lead-back role in Jacksonville. The Packers also represent a tough matchup given that their defense has quietly been one of the league's best this year.

    From RotoBaller

Christian Watson Oct 24 9:10pm CT
    Christian Watson

Green Bay Packers wide receivers Jayden Reed (ankle) and Christian Watson (ankle) were both limited during Thursday's practice. Both players head into Week 8 with injuries, but luckily they aren't considered to be major issues. Reed has been reliable throughout most of the season, but is coming off his worst performance of the season. He should be able to bounce back against the Jacksonville Jaguars secondary in Week 8. Watson has been quiet this season, but does have big-play ability. If active, Reed is a must-start while Watson is a desperation boom-or-bust choice.

    From RotoBaller

Jakobi Meyers Oct 24 8:50pm CT
    Jakobi Meyers

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers (ankle) didn't suit up for Thursday's practice session. Meyers was limited on Wednesday, but didn't practice at all on Thursday. It's possible that it was a rest day for Meyers, but that was not confirmed. This doesn't look good considering Meyers hasn't played in two weeks due to this ankle issue. The Raiders could desperately use Meyers with Davante Adams no longer with the team. If healthy, Meyers is the No. 1 option in the passing game and could carve out WR3 value against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 8.

    From RotoBaller

Will Dissly Oct 24 8:50pm CT
    Will Dissly

Los Angeles Chargers tight end Will Dissly (shoulder) was sidelined for the second straight day during practice. This is not good to see after Dissly's eight-catch performance in Week 7. Now, Dissly is in danger of missing Week 8 after back-to-back absences. If active, Dissly sneaks onto the TE2 radar against the New Orleans Saints. Otherwise, Hayden Hurst (groin) could be asked to take on a bigger role after he returned to practice on Thursday. However, Hurst hasn't done enough this season to earn the trust of fantasy managers.

    From RotoBaller

Will Levis Oct 24 8:40pm CT
    Will Levis

Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis (shoulder) was limited during Thursday's practice session. Levis continues to deal with an AC joint sprain that he suffered in Week 4. It's worth noting that the issue is on his throwing shoulder, which could explain his poor play in Week 6. Mason Rudolph started last week and was able to hold his own on the field. Rodolph threw for 215 yards with a touchdown and an interception in the loss to the Buffalo Bills. He'll likely start against the Detroit Lions this weekend, but won't be a recommended streaming option.

    From RotoBaller

Tyjae Spears Oct 24 8:30pm CT
    Tyjae Spears

Tennessee Titans running back Tyjae Spears (hamstring) remained a limited participant during Thursday's practice session. The organization is hopeful that Spears can get back on the field this week after sitting out in Week 7. If healthy, Spears figures to continue being the primary backup to Tony Pollard. Spears has struggled with only one game with over 30 rushing yards this season. Pollard has taken over the bulk of the carries in the backfield which makes Spears a tough option to trust heading into a difficult matchup against the Detroit Lions.

    From RotoBaller

Calvin Ridley Oct 24 8:20pm CT
    Calvin Ridley

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Calvin Ridley (foot) was absent during Thursday's practice session. This could put the Titans in a bad spot heading into the Week 8 matchup against the Detroit Lions. They traded veteran wideout DeAndre Hopkins and fellow receiver Treylon Burks (knee) has been placed on the injured reserve. The absence of Ridley would mean Tyler Boyd and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine would be the primary targets in the passing game. Ridley has been a disappointment this season with 12 receptions for 183 yards heading into Week 8. However, he could have some streaming appeal with the Titans thin at wide receiver.

    From RotoBaller

Josh Reynolds Oct 24 7:53pm CT
    Josh Reynolds

Denver Broncos WR Josh Reynolds (arm, finger, head) was reportedly shot in the arm and in the back of the head in Denver Friday, Oct. 18, but the Broncos said the injuries were minor and that Reynolds received treatment for the injuries.

    From TheHuddle

Amari Cooper Oct 24 7:43pm CT
    Amari Cooper

Buffalo Bills WR Amari Cooper said he believes he is ready for a bigger role in the passing game in Week 8.

Fantasy Spin: Cooper was productive in his first game with the Bills and should see a few more targets this week. His fantasy value was boosted by the trade, and he should be a starting option in all fantasy leagues.

    From TheHuddle

Jaylen Waddle Oct 24 7:10pm CT
    Jaylen Waddle

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle (quadriceps) was listed as a limited practice participant on Thursday for the second straight day this week. Waddle could pick up a questionable tag on Friday's final injury report, but he seems to be on the right side of questionable for Week 8 against the Arizona Cardinals. Tyreek Hill (foot) was added to the injury report on Thursday and was limited in practice, so Miami's top two wideouts have injury concerns heading into the game against the Cardinals. The good news is that the 25-year-old Waddle should be good to play and will have a much higher fantasy ceiling and floor as a WR2 with quarterback Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) tracking towards making his return from Injured Reserve. In addition, Arizona's defense has surrendered the sixth-most half-PPR fantasy points to receivers in seven games.

    From RotoBaller

Leonard Williams Oct 24 7:03pm CT
    Leonard Williams

Seattle Seahawks CB Tre Brown (ankle), DT Cameron Young (knee) and DE Michael Morris (ankle) did not participate in practice Thursday, Oct. 24. CB Nehemiah Pritchett (ankle), OT George Fant (knee), OT Abraham Lucas (knee) and CB Riq Woolen (ankle) were limited during practice. DE Leonard Williams (knee), S Julian Love (knee, quadriceps), TE Brady Russell (shoulder), LB Boye Mafe (knee) and S Jerrick Reed (knee) fully participated in practice.

    From TheHuddle

Tua Tagovailoa Oct 24 7:00pm CT
    Tua Tagovailoa

Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) was upgraded to a full practice session on Thursday after being limited on Wednesday. As a full practice participant, Tagovailoa can now meet with an independent neurological consultant for full clearance from the NFL's concussion protocol before Sunday's Week 8 game against the Arizona Cardinals. Meanwhile, Tyler Huntley (shoulder) missed a second straight practice on Thursday. Nothing is official yet, but all signs point to the 26-year-old Tagovailoa coming off Injured Reserve and playing this weekend for the first time since suffering his latest concussion in Week 2. Not only is Tua's matchup against Arizona a good one -- they've allowed the fourth-most fantasy points to QBs in 2024 -- but his return should do wonders for the fantasy value of both receivers Tyreek Hill (foot) and Jaylen Waddle (quadriceps).

    From RotoBaller

George Kittle Oct 24 6:53pm CT
    George Kittle

San Francisco 49ers TE George Kittle (foot) was limited during practice Thursday, Oct. 24.

Fantasy Spin: Kittle should be ready to play this week, but fantasy players can check on his official status over the next few days. He should see a good amount of targets if he plays and can be a starting option in fantasy leagues.

    From TheHuddle

Chris Conley Oct 24 6:53pm CT
    Chris Conley

San Francisco 49ers DT Kevin Givens (groin) and PK Jake Moody (ankle) did not participate in practice Thursday, Oct. 24. S George Odum (knee), DE Nick Bosa (elbow) and WR Chris Conley (ankle) were limited during practice. OT Trent Williams (non-injury) fully participated in practice.

    From TheHuddle

Kenneth Walker III Oct 24 6:50pm CT
    Kenneth Walker III

Seattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III (illness) returned to practice on Thursday in a limited showing after being listed as a DNP on Wednesday with an illness that cropped up last weekend. Walker was listed as questionable in Week 7 against the Atlanta Falcons but played and saw 14 carries for 69 yards and a touchdown while adding two catches for 24 yards and another score. The 24-year-old is the RB8 in half-PPR fantasy scoring through five games played and has had a nose for the end zone in 2024, scoring seven times in his five contests. He should be fine to play in Week 8 against the Buffalo Bills and should be considered a must-start RB1. Buffalo has been a friendly matchup to opposing RBs in 2024, allowing the sixth-most half-PPR points per game to the position.
