The New England Patriots are discussing the idea of trading quarterback Joe Milton III, according to FOX Sports' Jordan Schultz. This is something the Patriots have been considering for a while now, but it makes even more sense after they signed veteran QB Josh Dobbs to a two-year deal in free agency on Monday. Former first-rounder Drake Maye is the unquestioned future of the franchise, but with Dobbs now in town, Milton would likely be the third-stringer if he were to stay in New England. Milton, a former sixth-rounder, was showcased in the regular-season finale last year in the win over the division-rival Buffalo Bills and looked good, going 22-for-29 for 241 yards and a touchdown while also adding a rushing touchdown on 10 carries. The Patriots are unlikely to get much in return for Milton, who has plenty of questions as a passer but is intriguing as a runner. They could wait to trade him until later this summer.

The San Francisco 49ers released nine-time Pro Bowl fullback Kyle Juszczyk on Monday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. While Juszczyk isn't at all fantasy relevant and will turn 34 years of age in April, he wants to continue playing and could draw plenty of interest as a blocker out of the backfield. He was a former fourth-round pick (130th overall) by the Baltimore Ravens in 2013 out of Harvard and has been a Pro Bowler in each of the last nine seasons (eight with the 49ers). Juszczyk had 19 receptions on 31 targets for 200 yards and two touchdowns in 17 games (15 starts) for San Fran last year, adding only five rushing attempts for 26 yards and another score. He has never had more than 41 receptions or 324 yards in a single season in his 12 years in the NFL and has been used even less as a ball-carrier out of the backfield. The 49ers will save $2.9 million on the 2025 salary cap with a $3.57 million dead-money hit.

According to a person with knowledge of the Dallas Cowboys' thinking, the team signing former Denver Broncos running back Javonte Williams in free agency means that RB Rico Dowdle won't return in 2025. Williams is regarded as a comparable talent to Dowdle and is more cost effective, according to the Dallas Morning News' David Moore. The Cowboys are committed to selecting a running back in April's draft as well, and they will likely compete with Williams for backfield touches in 2025. This news comes after executive Stephen Jones said at the end of last month that Dallas was hoping to re-sign Dowdle, who had his first 1,000-yard rushing season and two touchdowns on 235 rushing attempts as the team's lead back in 2024. Meanwhile, Williams averaged a mediocre 3.7 yards per carry and had 513 rushing yards and four touchdowns in Denver while losing the starting gig midway through the season.

The Los Angeles Chargers are pursuing Pittsburgh Steelers impending free-agent running back Najee Harris and are hoping to close a deal with him, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. A deal hasn't been completed yet, but it could if everything goes well. It would be a big addition to L.A.'s backfield, especially since J.K. Dobbins, the team's leading rusher a year ago, is an unrestricted free agent this offseason. Hassan Haskins and Kimani Vidal are the only other RBs on the Bolts' roster currently, so if Harris were to sign with the Chargers and Dobbins goes elsewhere, he'd be the unquestioned lead back going into 2025. The former 24th overall pick in 2021 out of Alabama has left fantasy managers wanting more in his four NFL seasons despite rushing for at least 1,000 yards in each of his four seasons. Jaylen Warren has been a thorn in Harris' side the last two years, but a move to L.A. could give Harris more of a bell-cow role.

Former Minnesota Vikings safety Camryn Bynum agreed to terms on a four-year, $60 million contract with the Indianapolis Colts on Monday, sources told NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. Bynum will head to the AFC South after he was originally drafted in the fourth round (125th overall) by the Vikings in 2021 out of California. The 26-year-old defensive back started all 17 regular-season games for the Vikings in each of the last three years and had 96 tackles (54 solo), a career-high three interceptions and a career-high 10 pass breakups in his fourth year in Minnesota in 2024. Bynum had a career-best 137 combined tackles (94 solo) in 2023, so he definitely can be useful in IDP fantasy leagues. He should be a starter in his new home with the Colts in 2025 and beyond across from Nick Cross, who is one of the best IDP safeties in football.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that the Indianapolis Colts re-signed wide receiver Ashton Dulin to a two-year, deal worth up to $8.5 million on Monday, according to a source. Dulin missed all of the 2023 campaign due to a torn ACL in his knee but returned in 2024 to play in 15 games (two starts) in his sixth year in Indy. The 27-year-old pass-catcher hauled in only two of eight targets in 15 games played for 67 yards and one touchdown. He has never really been a big factor on offense for the Colts since he debuted in the NFL in 2019. Dulin's best season was in 2022, when he had a 15-207-1 line on 22 targets over 12 games played (two starts). He won't suddenly become a big factor on offense in 2025 but should remain a key special-teams player for the Colts. Dulin has 35 career catches on 60 targets for 517 yards and four touchdowns in his 70 games (five starts).

Dynasty | The Giants have re-signed wide receiver Darius Slayton. Dynasty Analysis: Slayton gets three years and $36 million, which is a pretty healthy deal for a player who has been so up and down throughout his career. Still, Slayton is a very effective WR2 across form Malik Nabers and should be good enough to keep the offense relevant for whomever decides they want to be the next quarterback there. The six-year veteran has posted 259 catches for 3,897 yards and 21 total touchdowns over his time with the G-Men. He's more of a roster clogger than anything else in dynasty leagues, though you could do worse with your last spot or two.
Dynasty | The Patriots have signed wide receiver Mack Hollins. Dynasty Analysis: Hollins will reunite with Josh McDaniels, whom he has success with during his tenure with the Raiders year ago. More known for rarely wearing shoes, Hollins will step into an offense that needs him to be effective on the field quickly. While the Patriots are far from done adding pieces to their offense, this is a signing that's interesting. Hollins is worth a roster spot at the moment in most dynasty leagues as we wait to see what this depth chart looks like in the end.
Dynasty | The Dallas Cowboys have signed running back Javonte Williams. Dynasty Analysis: Williams gets a one-year deal worth $3 million. In other words, he got backup money. This is significant as Dallas is still looking for a franchise running back. They could bring back Rico Dowdle, sign someone like Najee Harris, or look at options in the NFL Draft like Ashton Jeanty or Omarion Hampton. Regardless, this is hardly the last move they make to shore up the position and the money spent here makes Williams look like a player who is destined to lose a lot of value this off-season.
The Indianapolis Colts have agreed on a deal with free-agent defensive back Charvarius Ward on Monday. They've agreed on a three-year, $60 million that includes $35 million guaranteed and a $20 million signing bonus. This is a nice pickup for the Colts who have already improved their defense this offseason. Ward earned his way to the Pro Bowl in 2023 and has been a quality defender throughout his career. He has spent each of the last three seasons with the San Francisco 49ers after beginning his career with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2018. The Colts have added safety Cam Bynum as well, so hopefully this will be an improved defense in 2025.

The New England Patriots have agreed to a deal with free-agent wide receiver Mack Hollins on Monday. The two sides have agreed on a two-year, $8.4 million deal where Hollins can earn up to $10.4 million in total. This is a nice landing spot for Hollins who was previously coached by Pats offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels while in Las Vegas. Hollins hasn't been very impressive on the field outside of his lone season on the Raiders where he hauled in 57 receptions for 690 receiving yards and four touchdown in 2022. He'll be a nice depth piece to go along with DeMario Douglas, Kayshon Boutte, and Kendrick Bourne.

The Dallas Cowboys have signed free-agent running back Javonte Williams on Monday. The two sides have agreed to a one-year, $3 million contract that carries a maximum value of $3.5 million through incentives. This is a low-risk move by the Cowboys to address the lack of depth in their backfield. The assumption is that Williams will serve as the backup to Rico Dowdle to begin the season. However, the Cowboys could still add more backs through free agency or the upcoming NFL draft. Williams has been unable to live up to the hype of his rookie season where he rushed for 903 yards in 2021. The 24-year-old was stuck in a backfield committee last season with the Denver Broncos. There's a good chance Williams ends up in a committee type of approach in Dallas, so this move shouldn't give fantasy managers too much confidence in a bounce back campaign from Williams.

The Washington Commanders are bringing in free-agent wide receiver Michael Gallup for a visit this week. Gallup was released by the Dallas Cowboys last offseason and signed a deal with the Las Vegas Raiders. He didn't last long in Las Vegas before deciding to retire from the NFL. His play has declined since suffering a torn ACL in 2021, which was likely a big factor as to why he decided to hang it up. Now, Gallup is attempting a come back and will see if the Commanders are a potential fit for him. Wherever he lands, Gallup will most likely just be a depth player and probably won't be someone worth snagging on draft day.
From RotoBaller
New York Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton has signed a new extension with the organization on Monday. The two sides have agreed to a three-year, $36 million extension. Slayton has been with the Giants since being drafted in the fifth round by the team in 2019. The 28-year-old had a down year in 2024, but has posted four seasons with 700 receiving yards or more during his career. He's certainly not a top option, but is a nice asset to have alongside Malik Nabers and Wan'Dale Robinson. Slayton will probably float around WR4 value, but that depends on what else the Giants add this offseason.

Dynasty | The Bills have signed wide receiver Josh Palmer to a three-year, $46 million contract. Dynasty Analysis: This one is a little under the radar but it could be significant. The Bills were able to make it through the season with Khalil Shakir, Amari Cooper, Curtis Samuel, Mack Hollins and Keon Coleman. However, that crew will not be coming back as formulated. Depending on what this depth chart looks like, Palmer could play a decent role next season. He'll need to prove he can stay healthy, but you could do worse as a late round flier at the moment.
Dynasty | The Jaguars have signed free agent wide receiver Dyami Brown. Dynasty Analysis: Brown has always been a bit of a sleeper in dynasty circles but could never string together enough games in Washington to really be a consideration in lineups. He could get that chance in Jacksonville, however. This landing spot is sneaky good for him and he should remain on dynasty radars as a result.
Dynasty | The Browns have acquired quarterback Kenny Pickett in exchange for quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson and a fifth-round pick. Dynasty Analysis: It seems the Browns may have found their 2025 starter in the process but we'll have to see just what happens in the NFL Draft before making that declaration any stronger. Pickett started just 25 games with the Steelers and threw for 13 touchdowns and 13 interceptions in the process. He may have some untapped potential, but it's hard to look at this and feel very good about the prospects of anyone on the Browns roster if he does start. The Browns have a top-5 pick in the NFL Draft, so stay tuned.
Dynasty | The Houston Texans have signed wide receiver Justin Watson. Dynasty Analysis: This is a decent landing spot for Watson, who has posted 87 career catches for just over 1,300 yards and nine touchdowns over six seasons with the Chiefs and Bucs. He isn't really much of a dynasty asset at he moment, but he could be should the Texans fail to add much more through free agency or the NFL Draft. At this point, he should be kept on dynasty watch lists.
Dynasty | The Miami Dolphins have signed quarterback Zach Wilson. Dynasty Analysis: Miami was clearly in the market for a solid backup for quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and they get their man in Wilson, who carried the clipboard for Bo Nix in Denver last season. Wilson was once the face of the Jets franchise but like so many before him, that face, well, face planted. Wilson has enough talent to be effective in spurts and Miami now at least has a capable second option should Tua get hurt again. Wilson is off the radar in traditional dynasty leagues, but could be a decent deep roster stash in Superflex leagues.
Dynasty | The Rams have informed Cooper Kupp he will be released should they fail to find a trade partner. Dynasty Analysis: Well, that will make it official. Kupp is 31 years old and has dealt with some injuries over the past few years. However, this is also a player with 634 career catches for 7,776 yards and 57 touchdowns. While his magical 145/1,947/16 season was three years ago, it's hard to look at Kupp and think he's totally washed up. We'll see soon enough, but the writing was on the wall when the Rams signed Davante Adams yesterday. Kupp should find a home in the coming days and we'll re-evaluate his dynasty value when that happens.
