Emanuel Wilson Aug 1 10:30pm ET
    Emanuel Wilson

Green Bay Packers running back Emanuel Wilson (knee) left practice on Friday. Fortunately, it appears Wilson will be fine, with Bill Huber of Sports Illustrated reporting that there was "no damage" to the knee while adding that the 26-year-old "shouldn't be out long." It's certainly good news, considering MarShawn Lloyd (groin) hasn't been practicing. Wilson had an improved sophomore year in 2024, amassing 103 carries for 502 yards while totaling five touchdowns. Although Josh Jacobs is the clear No. 1 option in Green Bay, Wilson has a chance to remain involved as his backup. While that won't make him a viable fantasy option, at least a routinely productive one, he's worth selecting late in fantasy drafts for insurance purposes in case Jacobs goes down with an injury at some point during the season.

Kendrick Bourne Aug 1 10:10pm ET
    Kendrick Bourne

New England Patriots wide receiver Kendrick Bourne (undisclosed) was injured at practice on Friday. The 29-year-old limped off the field after a catch before being attended to by team medical staff. He appeared in 12 games for the Pats last season. However, Bourne didn't do much from a fantasy standpoint, amassing 28 catches for 305 yards and one touchdown. Fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day, at least until the team provides an official update. With that in mind, Bourne's chances of making the 53-man roster heading into Week 1 were already slim, so an extended absence due to an injury won't help.

Shedeur Sanders Aug 1 10:00pm ET
    Shedeur Sanders

Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders looked good during the team's eighth day of training camp. While Joe Flacco continued to shine, Sanders showed signs of growth, completing seven of his 10 attempts and throwing a touchdown. Kenny Pickett (hamstring) returned to practice on Friday. However, he was limited to individual drills. Pickett's return to full participation remains a mystery, which could open the door for Sanders and Dillon Gabriel to get first-team work in the coming days. While Gabriel struggled on Friday, he appears to still have the edge over Sanders. Still, neither rookie is expected to be under center as the starter come Week 1 when the Browns face the Bengals in an AFC North battle. With that said, Sanders' fantasy stock may rise if he continues to impress during the rest of training camp and throughout the preseason, although he has a way to go before earning a place on redraft rosters.

Khalil Shakir Aug 1 7:10pm ET
    Khalil Shakir

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Khalil Shakir (ankle) appears to have suffered an injury during Friday's practice. Shakir was being examined by the trainers for a foot/ankle injury before leaving in the tunnel. The severity of the injury is unknown right now, but the expectation is that Shakir will undergo further testing. The 25-year-old signed a four-year, $53 million extension with the Bills this past offseason. He's currently penciled in as the No. 1 wideout in Buffalo. He's coming off a 100-target season in 2024, so he figures to see similar or a higher workload in 2025. Fantasy managers will need to check back for another update on his status.

    From RotoBaller

Brock Bowers Aug 1 6:50pm ET
    Brock Bowers

Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers (undisclosed) was on the sideline during Friday's practice. Bowers was attending the practice, but didn't participate at all. It's unclear if this was a routine rest day or if Bowers is dealing with an injury. There's a good chance that this was a routine rest day for Bowers who figures to remain the focal point of the Raiders passing attack this upcoming season. Last season, Bowers hauled in 112 receptions for 1,194 receiving yards, and five touchdowns in 17 games during his rookie campaign. The 22-year-old is the No. 1 fantasy tight end heading into the regular season.

    From RotoBaller

Michael Wilson Aug 1 6:40pm ET
    Michael Wilson

According to Theo Mackie, Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Michael Wilson (head) and safety Budda Baker (shin) collided with each other during Friday's practice. This resulted in both players exiting early during practice. Baker reportedly tried to talk his way into staying in, but ultimately headed to the sideline. Wilson exited the field with the training staff and figures to undergo further testing. It seems like both players have avoided major injuries, but fantasy managers should check back for another update.

    From RotoBaller

Stefon Diggs Aug 1 6:30pm ET
    Stefon Diggs

New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs (knee) has reportedly looked impressive early in training camp. The assumption was that Diggs would be eased into activities after suffering a torn ACL in Week 8 of last season. Despite that, Diggs has looked good with quick and efficient movements and an ability to make plays on his surgically-repaired knee. The expectation was that Diggs would be limited to begin the season, but maybe he'll be ready to go by Week 1. Fantasy managers will have to stay tuned for more updates on his status as camp goes on.

    From RotoBaller

Chris Godwin Aug 1 6:20pm ET
    Chris Godwin

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin (ankle) is reportedly moving around well during practices. It's nice to hear that Godwin is making progress after a brutal dislocation of his ankle sidelined him for a majority of last season. Despite that, the Bucs gave Godwin a three-year, $66 million extension this offseason. The Bucs aren't going to push Godwin too hard, but it seems like he's doing well early in camp. He currently remains without a timetable to return. There's a chance that Godwin is eased back into action early in the season. If that happens, Jalen McMillan and rookie Emeka Egbuka would see increased snaps alongside Mike Evans in a three-receiver set.

Tyreek Hill Aug 1 6:00pm ET
    Tyreek Hill

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill said that he didn't fully understand the offense the first three years he was in town, according to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald. It's a bit unbelievable, but it didn't stop the Cheetah from leading the league with 1,799 receiving yards, 13 touchdowns and 112.4 yards per game in 2023. The speedy 31-year-old dealt with a wrist injury all of last year and also wasn't helped by the fact that quarterback Tua Tagovailoa missed more time with a head injury. As a result, Hill fell short of the 1,000-yard mark (959 yards) for the first time since 2019 as Miami's offense was more dink-and-dunk than explosive. His fantasy stock entering 2025 is down as a result, especially given Tua's shaky injury history. However, the five-time All-Pro seems very motivated and could easily bounce back if Tagovailoa stays on the field. He's ranked at RotoBaller as the WR12.

Antonio Gibson Aug 1 5:40pm ET
    Antonio Gibson

Phil Perry of NBC Sports Boston reports that New England Patriots running back Antonio Gibson (undisclosed) will sit out of Friday's scrimmage due to an undisclosed injury. Gibson also did not take part in the team's walk-through practice at training camp on Thursday. It's unclear what is ailing the 27-year-old, but it's likely that the Patriots are just being cautious. As things currently stand, Gibson is going to go undrafted in most fantasy leagues after the Patriots took RB TreVeyon Henderson in the second round back in April. Although Rhamondre Stevenson has his issues with ball security, he will remain ahead of Gibson on the depth chart in 2025 as long as he stays healthy. In his first year in New England in 2024, Gibson had 120 carries for 538 yards and one touchdown, adding a career-low 23 receptions for 206 yards through the air in 17 games (three starts).

Marvin Harrison Jr. Aug 1 5:20pm ET
    Marvin Harrison Jr.

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. (knee) is missing his second consecutive practice on Friday due to knee soreness, according to Tyler Drake of AZ Sports. The second-year wide receiver's injury is not viewed as serious, but it's one to monitor to see how much time he ends up missing. Harrison Jr. added weight over the offseason after a relatively disappointing rookie year that saw him record 62 catches for 885 yards and eight touchdowns in 17 games. Building chemistry with Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray is critical for Harrison Jr., as the two often appeared out of sync in 2024. The 22-year-old is being drafted as a WR2 in fantasy, which is significantly higher than where he finished last season.

    From RotoBaller

Joe Flacco Aug 1 5:20pm ET
    Joe Flacco

Cleveland Browns quarterback Kenny Pickett (hamstring) was back at training camp practice on Friday, but The Cleveland Plain Dealer's Dan Labbe reports that veteran Joe Flacco saw most of the first-team work. Pickett went through individual drills but was a spectator when the team broke off for team work. The 40-year-old Flacco is expected to win the starting QB duties heading into the 2025 season, but the QB competition is far from settled between Flacco and Pickett. Once Pickett is further from his hamstring injury, we'd expect him to continue rotating with Flacco with the first-team offense. Meanwhile, rookies Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders will continue to work as backups as they try to prove to the front office and coaching staff that they belong in the team's plans in the future. Cleveland's QB situation should be ignored by fantasy managers.

    From RotoBaller

Justin Jefferson Aug 1 5:10pm ET
    Justin Jefferson

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson (hamstring) was on a side field during practice on Friday working out with trainers, according to Emily Leiker of the Minneapolis Star Tribune. Head coach Kevin O'Connell said there still isn't a timeline on Jefferson's full re-integration at practices, but that he would ramp back up into some work this week and that updates have been "really positive." The 26-year-old All-Pro wideout hasn't practiced with the rest of the team for a full week now, but the Vikings are likely just being overly cautious with one of the best pass-catchers in football. The Vikes want to rest Jefferson but also know he's going to need reps with quarterback J.J. McCarthy before the start of the regular season. We would expect him to return to the practice field sooner than later. Unless Jefferson's absence drags on longer, he should still be one of the first receivers taken in fantasy drafts.

    From RotoBaller

Adonai Mitchell Aug 1 5:00pm ET
    Adonai Mitchell

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Adonai Mitchell looked "elite" in the team's training camp practice on Thursday, according to James Boyd of The Athletic. Earlier reporting (from Boyd) indicated that Mitchell was struggling, so it's a good sign to see things picking up for the second-year wide receiver. A second-round pick in 2024 out of Texas, Mitchell caught just 23 passes for 312 yards and zero touchdowns in 17 games as a rookie. Indianapolis has a crowded wide receiver room with Josh Downs, Michael Pittman Jr., and Alec Pierce all deserving of playing time. The Colts also used their first-round pick in 2025 on tight end Tyler Warren, which adds even more target competition for Mitchell. Between the bodies ahead of him on the depth chart and the Colts' uncertain quarterback situation, Mitchell is a long shot to be a consistent contributor in fantasy this season.

    From RotoBaller

Saquon Barkley Aug 1 4:50pm ET
    Saquon Barkley

Philadelphia Eagles superstar running back Saquon Barkley saw a "heavy workload as a ball-carrier and a receiver" during the team's training camp practice on Friday, according to Andrew DiCecco of Inside the Birds. A heavy rushing workload is the expectation for Barkley, as he led the NFL in rush attempts (345) and rushing yards (2,005) on his way to winning the AP Offensive Player of the Year Award in 2024. However, Barkley's receiving workload was relatively limited, as his 2.1 receptions per game was the lowest single-season mark of his career. Philadelphia has typically not utilized its running backs in the passing game during the Jalen Hurts era, but the team has also never had a running back as dynamic as Barkley. Modest reception totals are basically the only flaw in Barkley's fantasy profile, so correcting that could put him on track for a second-straight RB1 finish.

    From RotoBaller

Mack Hollins Aug 1 4:30pm ET
    Mack Hollins

The New England Patriots have "significant plans" for veteran wide receiver Mack Hollins, according to ESPN's Mike Reiss. Hollins signed a two-year contract with New England in free agency after spending the 2024 season with the Buffalo Bills. Entering his age-32 season in 2025, Hollins has mostly played a supporting role as a run blocker and core special-teams player throughout his seven-year NFL career. However, he had his most productive year as a receiver in 2022 while playing under current Patriots' offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels when McDaniels was the head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders. That season, Hollins played 17 games (16 starts) and caught 57 passes for 690 yards and four touchdowns. He appears to be the favorite to start on the outside in New England alongside Stefon Diggs and slot receiver DeMario Douglas. The buzz around Hollins should cool fantasy enthusiasm for Patriots rookie receiver Kyle Williams, who looks to be blocked off from regular playing time.

    From RotoBaller

Keenan Allen Aug 1 4:20pm ET
    Keenan Allen

Free-agent wide receiver Keenan Allen is visiting with the Los Angeles Chargers on Friday, and there is "mutual interest in a potential reunion," according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. The 33-year-old played last season with the Chicago Bears, but spent the first 11 seasons of his career with the Chargers. Allen is not the same level of receiver he once was at his peak, but he's still a productive player. In 15 games with Chicago in 2024, he recorded 70 catches for 744 yards and seven touchdowns. The Chargers have Ladd McConkey in place as their WR1, but lack certainty behind him. Allen would step in as their starting slot receiver, and there would be no worries about him needing time to build chemistry with quarterback Justin Herbert. If he does end up signing with the Chargers, Allen would immediately become fantasy-relevant, particularly in PPR-scoring formats.

Jalin Hyatt Aug 1 4:20pm ET
    Jalin Hyatt

New York Giants wide receiver Jalin Hyatt says he gained almost 20 lbs. over the offseason and plans to play this season at 189-190 lbs. after playing at 171-172 lbs. in 2024. Hyatt feels the added weight will help him improve his blocking and his ability to win contested catches, according to ESPN's Jordan Raanan. The third-year wide receiver has struggled to make a consistent impact so far in his NFL career. In 33 total games for the Giants, Hyatt has 31 catches for 435 yards and zero touchdowns. New York's top three receivers look pretty set heading into 2025, with Malik Nabers and Darius Slayton on the outside and Wan'Dale Robinson manning the slot. That leaves Hyatt competing with the Lil'Jordan Humphrey, Zach Pascal, and Ihmir Smith-Marsette for a depth role.

    From RotoBaller

Dyami Brown Aug 1 3:10pm ET
    Dyami Brown

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Dyami Brown had the "best day of the wide receivers" in practice on Thursday and has shown "good chemistry" with quarterback Trevor Lawrence, according to John Shipley of Sports Illustrated. Brown is entering his first season in Jacksonville after spending the first four years of his career with the Washington Commanders. In 63 career games (10 starts) for Washington, he racked up 59 catches for 784 yards and four touchdowns. Brown has specialized as a downfield threat who can punish defenses over the top with his speed, which could be a nice fit alongside Brian Thomas Jr. and Travis Hunter in Jacksonville. The Jags are thin at receiver behind their two young stars, with Parker Washington and Austin Trammell profiling as Brown's main competition for the WR3 role.

    From RotoBaller

Kyle Williams Aug 1 2:50pm ET
    Kyle Williams

New England Patriots rookie wide receiver Kyle Williams has been "a big-play machine whose hands let him down too much" in training camp so far, according to Chad Graff of The Athletic. Graff writes that Williams has "more drops than any other Pats receiver" and has made "too many mistakes" to secure the WR3 role in New England. A third-round pick out of Washington State, Williams recorded 70 catches for 1,198 yards and 14 touchdowns in 13 games for the Cougars last season. The Patriots have Stefon Diggs and DeMario Douglas penciled in atop their wide receiver depth chart, but they're looking for someone to step up on the outside. Williams' main competition in camp is likely veteran Mack Hollins, but Kendrick Bourne, Kayshon Boutte, Ja'Lynn Polk could factor in as well. It appears as though Williams will need to be much more consistent throughout the remainder of the preseason to earn consistent playing time as a rookie.
