Sam Hubbard Mar 5 10:30am CT
    Sam Hubbard

Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Sam Hubbard announced his retirement via X on Wednesday. The 29-year-old spent his entire seven-year career with the Bengals after being selected in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft out of Ohio State. Hubbard was a four-time captain and racked up 398 tackles (236 solo), 38.5 sacks, six forced fumbles, five fumble recoveries, one interception, and 16 pass deflections in 104 career games. With Pro Bowl edge rusher Trey Hendrickson's future uncertain in Cincinnati moving forward, the organization could have a glaring hole on the outside of its defensive line.

Dare Ogunbowale Mar 5 10:30am CT
    Dare Ogunbowale

The Houston Texans re-signed running back Dare Ogunbowale to a one-year, $2 million deal, according to NFL Insider Tom Pelissero. The 30-year-old has spent the last three seasons with Houston as a backup and primary special teamer following two seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Overall, Ogunbowale has rushed 166 times for 569 yards and four touchdowns in 95 games across four organizations. Fantasy managers should not expect Ogunbowale to be on the fantasy radar in 2025 barring a slew of injuries to Houston's running back room.

Nico Collins Mar 5 10:20am CT
    Nico Collins

The Houston Texans restructured the contract of star wide receiver Nico Collins, clearing $9.8 million in salary cap space for 2025. According to NFL insider Tom Pelissero, it was a simple restructure. Last offseason, Collins signed a three-year, $72.75 million contract extension with Houston following a 1,297-yard receiving season. The former Michigan Wolverine posted 1,006 receiving yards and seven touchdowns in just 12 games in 2024. With Stefon Diggs likely out of Houston entering next season, Collins is poised for another strong year as quarterback C.J. Stroud's No. 1 wide receiver.

Gardner Minshew II Mar 5 10:20am CT
    Gardner Minshew II

Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Gardner Minshew II will be released by the organization when the new league year begins on March 12, according to NFL insider Tom Pelissero. The 28-year-old signed a two-year, $25 million contract with the Raiders last offseason but is headed out after just one year. Since being selected in the sixth round of the 2019 NFL Draft out of Washington State, Minshew has thrown for 11,950 yards, 68 touchdowns, and 34 interceptions in 59 game appearances with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Philadelphia Eagles, Indianapolis Colts, and Raiders. He is one of the better backup quarterbacks in the NFL, so he will likely draw plenty of interest on the open free-agent market.

    From RotoBaller

Ben Johnson Mar 5 10:10am CT
    Ben Johnson

The Chicago Bears are trading for Kansas City Chiefs All-Pro offensive lineman Joe Thuney, according to multiple sources. The Bears are sending a 2026 fourth-round pick in exchange for the veteran. Thuney could potentially receive a contract extension with Chicago in short order. The 32-year-old and four-time Super Bowl Champion has been an anchor on Kansas City's offensive line since joining the team in 2021 following a five-year career with the New England Patriots. He has earned four All-Pro honors and will provide an instant boost to the Chicago offense line. The organization also traded for Los Angeles Rams guard Jonah Jackson, so needless to say, revamping the offensive line has been a major priority under new head coach Ben Johnson.

Juanyeh Thomas Mar 4 10:10pm CT
    Juanyeh Thomas

ESPN Dallas' Todd Archer reports that the Dallas Cowboys signed exclusive-rights free-agent safety Juanyeh Thomas and offensive guard/center Brock Hoffman to their tenders on Tuesday. Thomas will make $1.03 million in 2025, while Hoffman will make $1.1 million. Thomas doubled as a safety and kick returner in 2024 in his second year with Dallas, ultimately finishing with 14 tackles (10 solo) and a forced fumble while adding 187 kickoff-return yards and a touchdown in 13 games played. The 24-year-old went undrafted out of Georgia Tech before debuting in the NFL with the Cowboys in 2023. Hoffman, meanwhile, played in 17 games (seven starts) for the second straight season in 2024 in his third year with the team. With Zack Martin's retirement announcement, Hoffman could compete for the starting right-guard spot this summer at training camp.

Micah Parsons Mar 4 10:00pm CT
    Micah Parsons

The Dallas Cowboys and defensive tackle Osa Odighizuwa agreed on a four-year, $80 million deal on Tuesday that includes $58 million guaranteed and a $20 million signing bonus, per ESPN's Adam Schefter. Agent Sam Leaf Ireifej negotiated the deal. The 26-year-old former third-round pick (75th overall) in 2021 out of UCLA was able to work out an extension with the Cowboys, so Dallas was able to avoid placing the franchise tag on him. In his first four years in the NFL, he ha recorded 172 tackles (99 solo), 13.5 sacks, 28 tackles for loss, 58 QB hits and two forced fumbles in 67 games (63 starts). Odighizuwa's best season came in 2024, where he compiled career-highs in tackles (47), sacks (4.5) and QB hits (23) in 17 starts. The Cowboys will now turn to working on an extension with All-Pro pass-rusher Micah Parsons, who is in line to become one of the highest-paid defensive players in the league.

Brandon McManus Mar 4 9:50pm CT
    Brandon McManus

The Green Bay Packers agreed to re-sign kicker Brandon McManus on Tuesday to a three-year, $15.3 million deal, including a $5 million signing bonus, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The deal was negotiated by Drew and Jason Rosenhaus. McManus joined the Packers midway through the 2024 and helped stabilize a position that had been a headache for the team ever since Mason Crosby left. The 33-year-old veteran made 20 of his 21 field-goal attempts, including all three from 50-plus yards out, and all 30 of his extra-point tries in 11 regular-season games. In the wild-card game loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, he made one of his two field goals and his only point-after attempt. Given the upside of Green Bay's offense with quarterback Jordan Love, McManus should enter the 2025 season as a fringe top-12 fantasy option, at worst.

    From RotoBaller

Tyler Shough Mar 4 9:40pm CT
    Tyler Shough

ESPN's Dan Graziano targets Louisville quarterback Tyler Shough as a name to watch as a potential riser ahead of April's NFL draft. Scouts are in love with his ability and instincts. Shough broke his collarbone and his ankle in separate seasons at Texas Tech, but those injuries were more bad luck than chronic conditions. The biggest knock on him is the fact that he'll be turning 26 years old in September, which means he'll be almost 30 when his rookie contract is up. It's one of the big reasons that Shough hasn't gotten much buzz in what is considered a weak QB class in 2025, but he could be a sleeper to watch on Day 2 or 3 of the draft. He is ranked as Mel Kiper Jr.'s eighth-best QB in this year's class and possesses a live arm as a pocket passer. The 25-year-old also plays with good vision, but he has been inconsistent and struggles with pressure.

    From RotoBaller

Russell Wilson Mar 4 9:23pm CT
    Russell Wilson

Pittsburgh Steelers impending free-agent QB Justin Fields is reportedly more likely to return to the team than Russell WIlson, according to sources via NFL Media's Ian Rapoport.

Fantasy Spin: Fields was famously replaced by Wilson after going 4-2 this season. As NFL Network's Mike Garafolo stated on "The Insiders," there was some thought that Pittsburgh scaled back the offense to keep the pressure off Fields since the intention all along was to have Wilson start in 2024. Fields is more than 10 years younger than Wilson, who did not make much of a case to retain the starting job with a poor finish to the season. Fields' dual-threat ability will give him theoretical QB1 upside for as long as he remains one of the best athletes on the field, but Pittsburgh needs to add some more weapons in order for that to happen.

    From TheHuddle

Kyle Pitts Mar 4 8:30pm CT
    Kyle Pitts

Atlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts was selected fourth overall in 2021 and had 1,026 receiving yards in his first year in the NFL, but since then, he's been an enigma and has left fantasy managers and the Falcons wanting more. He finished last year as the team's fifth-leading receiver with 47 catches for 602 yards and four touchdowns, and since entering the league, Pitts is fifth among all TEs in receiving yards (2,651) and 23rd in touchdowns (10). "He's shown some spurts of greatness, and he's shown some things that (make you) desire more. We'll try to get the best out of him at all times. That's our job as coaches," head coach Raheem Morris said. The 24-year-old will be making $10.87 million on his fifth-year option in 2025, and all signs point to this being his final year in Atlanta unless he can improve his production. In fantasy, he'll come cheap as a low-end TE1/high-end TE2 after yet another disappointing season.

    From RotoBaller

David Onyemata Mar 4 8:10pm CT
    David Onyemata

Atlanta Falcons head coach Raheem Morris and general manager Terry Fontenot stopped short of saying that veteran defensive end Grady Jarrett would definitely be back with the team in 2025. Jarrett, David Onyemata and Eddie Goldman -- the three defensive linemen who played the most defensive snaps last year -- will all be 31 or 32 in 2025, which is why The Athletic's Josh Kendall writes the Falcons need to get younger on the D-line. Jarrett is heading into the final season of a three-year extension he signed in 2022. He will count $20.37 million against the 2025 salary cap, but the Falcons would only have a $4.1 million dead-cap hit if they cut him while saving $16.2 million on the cap. With the Falcons $5.3 million over the cap, they will surely be moving on from some veterans. Jarrett has meant a lot to the Falcons and has become the face of the franchise, but he had only 2.5 sacks and 12 QB hits in 2024.

Shedeur Sanders Mar 4 7:50pm CT
    Shedeur Sanders

University of Colorado wide receiver/cornerback Travis Hunter will have a top-30 visit to the Cleveland Browns facility this week, a source tells The Cleveland Plain Dealer's Mary Kay Cabot. The Browns will also have top-30 visits with Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders, University of Miami quarterback Cam Ward and Penn State defensive end Abdul Carter this week as they make preparations for the upcoming NFL draft in April in which they hold the No. 2 overall pick. All four of these players are in play for the first couple picks of this year's draft, but with Deshaun Watson (Achilles) potentially missing all of the 2025 season, most pundits believes it's almost a sure thing that the Browns will go with either Ward or Sanders, the top-two prospects in this year's class. Ideally for Cleveland, they'll have their pick of either Ward and Sanders at No. 2. Even if they take a QB at No. 2, they could pair him with a veteran QB in 2025.

Javon Hargrave Mar 4 7:33pm CT
    Javon Hargrave

The Pittsburgh Steelers will be in the free-agent market for defensive linemen and also should have interest in a swing tackle and interior offensive line depth. In the opinion of PennLive.com's Nick Farabaugh, Kansas City Chiefs impending free-agent DT Tershawn Wharton as well as former Steeler and current San Francisco 49ers DT Javon Hargrave, who is expected to be cut, could be on Pittsburgh's radar.

    From TheHuddle

Davante Adams Mar 4 5:43pm CT
    Davante Adams

Dynasty | The Jets have released wide receiver Davante Adams. Dynasty Analysis: This was always the most likely scenario after the Jets decided to move on from Aaron Rodgers. Adams will immediately become the best receiver on the open market and will have control over choosing who he'll play for next season. He's rumored to be interested in playing on the West Coast, with teams like the 49ers, Rams, and Chargers on his list. He'll also likely wait to see just what happens with Aaron Rodgers before making a choice. He's still a productive player and should still be a WR1/2 next season, regardless of where he lands and his dynasty value shouldn't crater too much with this move. On the plus side, you may be able to return those Davante Adams Jets jerseys.

Allen Lazard Mar 4 5:43pm CT
    Allen Lazard

Dynasty | The Jets have granted wide receiver Allen Lazard permission to seek a trade. Dynasty Analysis: Lazard was always tied to Aaron Rodgers and while the Jets are saying the right things in terms of possibly bringing him back, that seems a little unlikely at the moment. He could fetch a late round pick swap at this point in his career, but is more likely to be released to join Rodgers at his latest stop. Lazard is no more than a roster clogger on dynasty rosters and has minimal dynasty value.

    T.J. Watt Mar 4 5:43pm CT
    T.J. Watt

Pittsburgh Steelers LB T.J. Watt could receive a contract extension sooner than later to help create cap space and allow the team to get ahead of the financial ramifications of massive contracts for Cleveland Browns DE Myles Garrett and Dallas Cowboys LB Micah Parsons.

    From TheHuddle

Sauce Gardner Mar 4 5:42pm CT
    Sauce Gardner

New York Jets cornerback Sauce Gardner is expected to reset the cornerback market as the highest-paid player because the two-time All-Pro is arguably the league's best shutdown cornerback, sources told SNY's Connor Hughes. The Jets will also likely consider an extension for wide receiver Garrett Wilson soon, but sources agreed that Gardner's new deal is far simpler. Additionally, Hughes got the sense at this year's NFL Combine in Indianapolis that the new Jets regime of general manager Darren Mougey and head coach Aaron Glenn are much more open to the idea of extending players after three years than former GM Joe Douglas was. Sources think that any extensions that Mougey and Glenn reward players with will be fair and to market value, assuming the organization has the financial means to pull it off. Gardner, the former fourth overall pick, had a career-low 49 tackles (36 solo), one sack and an interception in 15 starts in 2024.

Courtland Sutton Mar 4 5:33pm CT
    Courtland Sutton

Pittsburgh Steelers WR George Pickens is not expected to be available via trade, according to sources, and the organization views any additions at the position as complementary to him. It is believed the Steelers will not add any wide receiver salaries without settling the quarterback position first, but addressing the position will be a top priority. Pittsburgh could pursue Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton via trade if contract talks with Denver break down, sources said. Last year, the Steelers showed interest in Jacksonville Jaguars WR Christian Kirk and WR Darius Slayton (Giants) at the trade deadline, and both could be in play again provided Kirk is released, in the opinion of PennLive's Nick Farabaugh.

    From TheHuddle

Saquon Barkley Mar 4 5:13pm CT
    Saquon Barkley

Dynasty | The Eagles have signed running back Saquon Barkley to an extension. Dynasty Analysis: It's a two-year, $41.2 million contract with $36 million guaranteed. He now becomes the highest-paid running back and first ever to make more than $20 million per season. Many others will attempt to use this as a barometer of their own value, but Barkley proved he was in a tier of his own last season with 2,005 rushing yards in just 16 games. Fresh off a Super Bowl win, he's the ultimate trade target for a contending team as he's aging, but still capable of being the overall RB1 next season.
