New York Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton has signed a new extension with the organization on Monday. The two sides have agreed to a three-year, $36 million extension. Slayton has been with the Giants since being drafted in the fifth round by the team in 2019. The 28-year-old had a down year in 2024, but has posted four seasons with 700 receiving yards or more during his career. He's certainly not a top option, but is a nice asset to have alongside Malik Nabers and Wan'Dale Robinson. Slayton will probably float around WR4 value, but that depends on what else the Giants add this offseason.
From RotoBaller
Dynasty | The Bills have signed wide receiver Josh Palmer to a three-year, $46 million contract. Dynasty Analysis: This one is a little under the radar but it could be significant. The Bills were able to make it through the season with Khalil Shakir, Amari Cooper, Curtis Samuel, Mack Hollins and Keon Coleman. However, that crew will not be coming back as formulated. Depending on what this depth chart looks like, Palmer could play a decent role next season. He'll need to prove he can stay healthy, but you could do worse as a late round flier at the moment.
Dynasty | The Jaguars have signed free agent wide receiver Dyami Brown. Dynasty Analysis: Brown has always been a bit of a sleeper in dynasty circles but could never string together enough games in Washington to really be a consideration in lineups. He could get that chance in Jacksonville, however. This landing spot is sneaky good for him and he should remain on dynasty radars as a result.
Dynasty | The Browns have acquired quarterback Kenny Pickett in exchange for quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson and a fifth-round pick. Dynasty Analysis: It seems the Browns may have found their 2025 starter in the process but we'll have to see just what happens in the NFL Draft before making that declaration any stronger. Pickett started just 25 games with the Steelers and threw for 13 touchdowns and 13 interceptions in the process. He may have some untapped potential, but it's hard to look at this and feel very good about the prospects of anyone on the Browns roster if he does start. The Browns have a top-5 pick in the NFL Draft, so stay tuned.
Dynasty | The Houston Texans have signed wide receiver Justin Watson. Dynasty Analysis: This is a decent landing spot for Watson, who has posted 87 career catches for just over 1,300 yards and nine touchdowns over six seasons with the Chiefs and Bucs. He isn't really much of a dynasty asset at he moment, but he could be should the Texans fail to add much more through free agency or the NFL Draft. At this point, he should be kept on dynasty watch lists.
Dynasty | The Miami Dolphins have signed quarterback Zach Wilson. Dynasty Analysis: Miami was clearly in the market for a solid backup for quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and they get their man in Wilson, who carried the clipboard for Bo Nix in Denver last season. Wilson was once the face of the Jets franchise but like so many before him, that face, well, face planted. Wilson has enough talent to be effective in spurts and Miami now at least has a capable second option should Tua get hurt again. Wilson is off the radar in traditional dynasty leagues, but could be a decent deep roster stash in Superflex leagues.
Dynasty | The Rams have informed Cooper Kupp he will be released should they fail to find a trade partner. Dynasty Analysis: Well, that will make it official. Kupp is 31 years old and has dealt with some injuries over the past few years. However, this is also a player with 634 career catches for 7,776 yards and 57 touchdowns. While his magical 145/1,947/16 season was three years ago, it's hard to look at Kupp and think he's totally washed up. We'll see soon enough, but the writing was on the wall when the Rams signed Davante Adams yesterday. Kupp should find a home in the coming days and we'll re-evaluate his dynasty value when that happens.
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp is expected to be released at the start of the league year on Wednesday. There is still a few more days for the Rams to work out a trade for Kupp, but it doesn't sound like anything is too close. The Rams really have no leverage here, so it's hard to imagine anyone giving up much of anything for Kupp at this point. The Rams already signed his replacement in Davante Adams, so it appears Kupp's days in Los Angeles are numbered. The superstar wideout is owed $29.7 million this year, but the Rams can save $7.5 million by cutting him. The 31-year-old wideout should hit the open market later this week.

Former Denver Broncos quarterback Zach Wilson reached an agreement on Monday on a one-year, $6 million fully guaranteed deal with the Miami Dolphins that can grow to $10 million, sources tell ESPN's Adam Schefter. Wilson will return to the AFC East after he was taken second overall by the New York Jets in 2021 out of BYU. The 25-year-old flamed out in New York in his three seasons in the Big Apple before serving as the Broncos' No. 3 signal-caller last year behind rookie sensation Bo Nix and Jarrett Stidham. The Broncos re-signed Stidham as their backup, leaving Wilson to sign with the Dolphins as insurance behind the injury-prone Tua Tagovailoa. Tyler Huntley, who spent the 2024 season as the backup to Tagovailoa in Miami, is an unrestricted free agent this offseason. The Dolphins will be in a dire situation if Wilson is forced to make starts for them in 2025.

The Houston Texans are signing Kansas City Chiefs free-agent wide receiver Justin Watson to an undisclosed deal on Monday, sources tell NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. The Texans also added former Miami Dolphins wideout Braxton Berrios on Monday for additional receiver depth behind starter Nico Collins. Stefon Diggs (knee) is a pending free agent, and Tank Dell (knee) could miss all of the 2025 season following a gruesome knee injury in 2024. In addition to Berrios and Watson, the Texans added Christian Kirk (collarbone) in a trade with the division-rival Jacksonville Jaguars last week. The 28-year-old Watson will probably serve as Houston's No. 3 receiver, at best, in 2025 if both Collins and Kirk are healthy. The former fifth-rounder by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2018 out of Pennsylvania had 289 receiving yards and two TDs on 22 catches in 17 regular-season games with KC a year ago.
From RotoBaller
The New England Patriots signed former Las Vegas Raiders standout linebacker Robert Spillane to an undisclosed deal on Monday, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Spillane heads to New England after leading the Raiders in tackles in each of the last two seasons while playing in all 17 regular-season games in both 2023 and 2024. The 29-year-old had 306 tackles (173 solo), 5.5 sacks, 17 tackles for loss, seven QB hits, five interceptions, 11 pass breakups, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery the last two years with the Raiders and will be a big addition to a Patriots defense that was in need of a playmaker like Spillane. The former undrafted free agent out of Western Michigan should continue to be an every-down player in new head coach Mike Vrabel's defense, putting him firmly in play in IDP fantasy formats at the linebacker position.
From RotoBaller
Free-agent veteran quarterback Joshua Dobbs reached an agreement with the New England Patriots on Monday on an undisclosed two-year deal, according to his agent, Mike McCartney. The 30-year-old journeyman signal-caller will head to the AFC East after spending the 2024 campaign with the San Francisco 49ers as a backup to Brock Purdy. Dobbs only appeared in two games (one start) for the Niners a season ago and went 32-for-47 for 361 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions. He saw his most action (13 games) with the Arizona Cardinals and Minnesota Vikings in 2023 and threw for a career-high 2,464 yards with 13 touchdowns and 10 interceptions in 2023, also adding 421 rushing yards and six touchdowns on 77 carries. Dobbs has gone 3-12 in his 15 career NFL starts. Turnovers and decision-making have been an issue, but he'll provide experience as a backup to second-year QB Drake Maye.

The Cleveland Browns are acquiring quarterback Kenny Pickett from the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday in exchange for quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson and a fifth-round draft pick, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. With Deshaun Watson (Achilles) unlikely to be ready to play at all in 2025 after suffering a setback with his torn Achilles, Pickett is expected to compete for the starting job in Cleveland this summer in training camp and the preseason. Veteran Jameis Winston made starts for the Browns after Watson went down last year, but he's an unrestricted free agent and isn't expected to return. Cleveland could add another veteran QB via trade or free agency to compete with Pickett, but they are also fully expected to draft one with the No. 2 overall pick in April. Pickett, a former first-rounder by the Steelers, has thrown 15 TDs and 14 interceptions in his 30 games (25 starts) in his first three years. He'd be a low-end QB2 option in superflex leagues if he's starting for the Browns in 2025.
From RotoBaller
The Denver Broncos and free-agent safety Talanoa Hufanga agreed to a three-year contract on Monday worth up to $45 million, including $20 million guaranteed at signing, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Hufanga was a first-time Pro Bowler in 2022 with the San Francisco 49ers and was trending toward being a starting defensive back in IDP fantasy formats until injuries struck. The 25-year-old played in only 10 games in 2023 and a career-low seven games in 2024. He suffered a concussion in the regular-season finale last year but should be fully recovered in time for the start of the 2025 campaign in his first year with Denver. If Hufanga can return to the ball-hawking form he displayed prior to 2023, the Broncos defense could have a steal on their hands. Barring injuries, Hufanga figures to start at safety alongside Brandon Jones in a talented Denver defense.

Free-agent defensive tackle D.J. Jones and the Denver Broncos reached an agreement on Monday on a three-year, $39 million deal that includes $26 million fully guaranteed, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter. Jones will remain in Denver for another three seasons after playing with them since the 2022 campaign. In his three seasons in Denver, the 30-year-old has racked up 122 tackles (73 solo), five sacks, nine tackles for loss, 11 QB hits, nine pass breakups, three forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries in 48 games started during the regular season. Retaining their starting nose tackle is good news for a Broncos defense that was the No. 1 defense in fantasy in 2024. Jones had 42 tackles (21 solo), one sack and a fumble recovery in his 17 regular-season starts last year. However, he won't be on the fantasy radar in IDP formats.

Free-agent cornerback Darius Slay is signing with the Pittsburgh Steelers, sources tell FOX Sports' Jordan Schultz. Slay, a 34-year-old veteran, was a salary-cap casualty this offseason with the Philadelphia Eagles but won't be on the open market for long. The six-time Pro Bowler is now headed to the AFC North after spending the first 12 seasons of his NFL career in the NFC with the Detroit Lions and Philadelphia Eagles. While he's no longer in the prime of his career, Slay can still produce after totaling 106 tackles (87 solo), two interceptions (one returned for a touchdown), 27 pass breakups, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery in 26 regular-season starts in Philadelphia over the last two years. Slay will certainly be an improvement for Pittsburgh's secondary once he's officially released by the Eagles as a post-June 1 cut.
From RotoBaller
The Pittsburgh Steelers released defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi on Monday, a source told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. This one doesn't come as a big surprise after Ogunjobi saw his role decrease on the interior of Pittsburgh's defensive line in 2024. The 30-year-old veteran played in 15 regular-season games (12 starts) and finished with 41 tackles (16 solo), 1.5 sacks, five tackles for loss and seven QB hits in 2024 in his third season with the team. He'll turn 31 this year, but Ogunjobi should still have plenty of suitors on the free-agent market after accumulating 40-plus tackles in each of the last seven seasons. Ogunjobi was taken in the third round (65th overall) by the Cleveland Browns in 2017 out of Charlotte and spent the first four years of his career in Cleveland before a one-year stop in Cincinnati. He has spent all eight of his NFL campaigns in the AFC North.
From RotoBaller
Former Miami Dolphins wide receiver Braxton Berrios (knee) agreed to a one-year, $2 million deal with the Houston Texans on Monday, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter. The deal was negotiated by agents Drew Rosenhaus and Robert Bailey. Berrios heads to the AFC South division after suffering a torn left ACL in Week 7 of last year. When the 29-year-old pass-catcher is back to full health, he figures to give the Texans additional receiver depth behind Nico Collins and Christian Kirk (collarbone) with Tank Dell (knee) potentially missing all of the 2025 season. At best, though, Berrios will likely be limited in his playing time as a role player on offense while mostly contributing as a kick returner on special teams. The former sixth-round pick by the New England Patriots in 2018 out of the University of Miami had his best season in 2021 with the Jets, catching 46 of 65 passes for 431 yards and two touchdowns in 16 games (one start).
From RotoBaller
The Houston Texans agreed to terms with free-agent defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins (illness) on a one-year deal worth up to $7 million on Monday, a source told The Athletic's Dianna Russini. It's a reunion for Rankins, who spent the 2023 season with the Texans before joining the Bengals in 2024. The 30-year-old defensive tackle missed three games with a hamstring injury and the final seven games with the Bengals last year after signing a two-year, $24.5 million deal last year. In his seven games played in 2024, Rankins had 18 tackles (10 solo) and one sack. The former 12th overall pick by the New Orleans Saints in 2016 out of Louisville had 37 tackles (29 solo), six sacks, nine tackles for loss, 10 QB hits, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery returned for a touchdown in 15 regular-season starts for the Texans in 2023. Rankins will provide veteran depth on the interior of Houston's defensive line in his return.
From RotoBaller
The Jacksonville Jaguars agreed to terms with free-agent quarterback Nick Mullens on Monday on a two-year, $6.5 million deal with $3 million guaranteed, a source told NFL Network's Mike Garafolo. Mullens will be the new backup to Trevor Lawrence in head coach Liam Coen's first year in Duvall. The 29-year-old Mullens will reunite with new Jaguars assistant coach Grant Udinski after the two worked together with the Minnesota Vikings. Mullens spent the last three years in Minnesota, appearing in 13 games (three starts) while throwing for 1,568 yards, eight touchdowns and nine interceptions. He only appeared in four games in relief last year with Sam Darnold having a career year. Mullens will provide veteran backup depth behind Lawrence, though, having appeared in 33 games (20 starts) in his seven years in the NFL with Minnesota, San Francisco and Cleveland.
