Washington Commanders tight end Zach Ertz should continue to be viewed as a low-end TE1 in Week 12 when he faces the Dallas Cowboys. Last week, during their loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, Ertz brought in six of his seven targets for 47 yards and his second touchdown of the season. Since Week 6, Ertz has scored double-digit PPR points in four of the six contests and averaged 6.2 targets per game in this span. With a lack of a proven No.2 option in the passing attack, Ertz has continued to see a steady volume of work weekly. Fantasy managers in deeper formats should continue to view Ertz as a solid option this weekend when facing a struggling Cowboys defense that has allowed 34 points in each of their past two games.
From RotoBaller
Washington Commanders kicker Zane Gonzalez could be in line to start his third-straight contest with Austin Seibert (hip) listed as questionable. Seibert has been sidelined over the past two weeks with a hip injury. Gonzalez has filled in quite well in his absence, as he has gone 3-for-3 on attempts and a perfect 4-for-4 on extra points. Even though the Washington offense has struggled over the past two weeks, fantasy managers looking for a streaming option in deeper formats should consider adding Gonzalez, as they have a great matchup against a struggling Dallas defense that has allowed the 29th-most fantasy points to opposing kickers this season.
From RotoBaller
San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan announced that quarterback Brandon Allen will make the start on Sunday against the Green Bay Packers in Week 12 in place of the injured Brock Purdy (shoulder), who has been ruled out. An MRI exam on Purdy's right shoulder delivered encouraging news, so the team doesn't expect a long-term absence, but Allen will at least fill in this weekend and could have to again in Week 13 versus the Buffalo Bills. The 32-year-old will be an obvious downgrade from Purdy, and Sunday's game will be his first start in the NFL since 2021 with the Cincinnati Bengals. In 16 career games (nine starts), he's completed only 56.7% of his pass attempts for 1,611 yards, 10 touchdowns and six interceptions. Fantasy managers should downgrade all of San Fran's offensive weapons, while Allen will be a desperation QB2 in superflex leagues against the Packers.
From RotoBaller
The Washington Commanders defense is shaping up to be a solid streaming option facing a struggling Dallas offense this weekend. Despite disappointing in their previous two games against the Philadelphia Eagles and Pittsburgh Steelers, fantasy managers should still consider the Washington defense, given their favorable matchup. During their past two games with Cooper Rush under center, the Cowboys have scored just 16 total points, been sacked eight times, and thrown two interceptions. The Commanders have produced solid fantasy showing against struggling offensive units this season as they held the Panthers to just seven points in Week 7 and the Bears to 15 points in Week 8. Given the favorable matchup, the Commanders have a path to a top-10 finish.
From RotoBaller
Washington Commanders kicker Austin Seibert (hip) is listed as questionable for Sunday's tilt against the Dallas Cowboys. Seibert has been sidelined for the past two weeks but was able to log a full practice on Friday, which is a positive sign of his availability for this divisional matchup. Nicki Jhabvala of the Washington Post reported that the kicker is "trending in the right way." Fantasy managers should continue monitoring his status over the weekend if he faces a setback. If Seibert can suit up, he should be viewed as a high-end kicking option facing a struggling Dallas defense. If not, Zane Gonzalez could be worth a look in deeper formats, given the favorable matchup.
From RotoBaller
The San Francisco 49ers officially ruled defensive end Nick Bosa (hip, oblique) out for the Week 12 game on Sunday at Lambeau Field against the Green Bay Packers. Bosa was forced from the Week 11 loss to the division-rival Seattle Seahawks late in the game and was unable to return, and he couldn't get on the practice field at all this week. The four-time Pro Bowler could have a tough time getting back on the field by Week 13 against the Buffalo Bills, too. With Bosa sidelined, expect pass-rushers Robert Beal and Yetur Gross-Matos to see more defensive snaps for the Niners. San Francisco's defense/special teams unit was barely clinging to start-worthy status in 12-team leagues before the news on Bosa, so we wouldn't blame you for going in another direction against a Packers offense that's capable of putting up plenty of points.
From RotoBaller
Washington Commanders rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels should be set up well for a bounce-back showing against the Dallas Cowboys this weekend. Over his past two games, Daniels has posted the two lowest fantasy scores of his standout rookie season. During this stretch, Daniels has tallied just one score and averaged a mere 196.5 passing yards per game. However, before this, Daniels scored at least 20.0+ PPR points in all but one contest this season. Removing his Week 7 game, where he left early, Daniels has averaged a strong 25.3 PPR points per game during Weeks 3 through 9 and scored 11 total touchdowns during this span. Facing a Dallas Cowboys defense that has allowed the 28th-most PPR points to opposing QBs sets the LSU product up for a great "get-right" matchup, making him a solid QB1.
From RotoBaller
Washington Commanders running back Brian Robinson Jr. returned to action last Thursday and found the end zone for the seventh time this season and should be in a great position to stay hot facing the Dallas Cowboys. Throughout the season, Robinson has failed to score double-digit PPR points in just one game and is averaging a solid 65.5 rushing yards per game. In addition, he has continued to be deployed as the de facto red zone option out of the backfield, which has set him up for great scoring opportunities. Facing the Cowboys, who have allowed the 30th-most PPR points to opposing RBs this season, suggests Robinson could be in store for another solid showing on Sunday afternoon, making him an RB2 with upside.
From RotoBaller
Washington Commanders running back Austin Ekeler saw a season-high in targets last Thursday and could be in store for another strong showing in Week 12 facing the Dallas Cowboys. Even with Brian Robinson Jr. back in action, Ekeler continued to see most of the passing work out of the backfield and served as a reliable check-down option for Jayden Daniels against a tough Philadelphia defense. While the Commanders have a much easier matchup facing the Dallas Cowboys this weekend, Ekeler could still see a heavy dose of targets as he is becoming one of the most reliable options in the Washington passing attack. Facing a weak Dallas defense that has surrendered the 30th-most PPR points to opposing RBs this season makes Ekeler a viable flex option in PPR formats.
From RotoBaller
Washington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin posted his worst outing of the season last Thursday evening but should be poised to return to fantasy stardom in Week 12 facing the Dallas Cowboys. In Week 11, McLaurin brought in just one of his two targets for ten yards. Before this disappointing showing, McLaurin has averaged a stellar 17.8 PPR points per game with 84.0 yards and 4.9 receptions per game since Week 3. During this stretch, the Ohio State product saw an impressive 6.8 targets per game. Operating as the clear top wideout in the DMV, McLaurin should be in a great position to return to his high-end WR2 status, facing a Dallas secondary that has allowed the 16th-most PPR points to opposing wideouts this season.
From RotoBaller
Washington Commanders wide receiver Noah Brown has struggled to find consistency this season and should continue to be viewed as a risky flex option in deeper formats heading into a Week 12 tilt against the Dallas Cowboys. Over his past two games, Brown has seen 11 total targets but caught only four of them for a mere 37 yards. Before this stretch, Brown scored double-digit PPR points during Weeks 8 and 9. Even though he is being deployed as the clear No.2 option for Terry McLaurin, Brown has been unable to produce consistent fantasy production. Facing the Cowboys, who have allowed the 16th-most PPR points to opposing wideouts this season, makes Brown a flex option with risk, but he could have a path to success given how often he is on the field.
From RotoBaller
San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy (shoulder) has officially been ruled out for the Week 12 contest on the road against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday at Lambeau Field. Head coach Kyle Shanahan said Purdy came out of the Week 11 loss to the division-rival Seattle Seahawks with some shoulder soreness, but it didn't appear to be very serious until late this week. An MRI exam was encouraging, so this shouldn't be a long-term absence, but fantasy managers are going to need to pivot this weekend. The 24-year-old will be replaced under center by Brandon Allen, which will be a downgrade for San Fran's entire offense. Expect a heavy dose of running back Christian McCaffrey against Green Bay, with wideouts Deebo Samuel Sr. and Jauan Jennings and tight end George Kittle (hamstring) having much lower ceilings and floors.
From RotoBaller
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Brandin Cooks (knee) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable to make his return for the team's Week 12 divisional meeting with the Washington Commanders on Sunday. Cooks remains on Injured Reserve, so if the Cowboys want him to play this weekend, they'll need to activate him by the deadline on Saturday. An infection in the 31-year-old's right knee required surgery, and he's been on IR since Week 5. If Cooks is activated and active on Sunday, he could operate as Dallas' No. 3 wideout behind CeeDee Lamb and Jalen Tolbert in an offense that is now being run by quarterback Cooper Rush with Dak Prescott (hamstring) out for the year. Cooks was already a low-upside, touchdown-dependent WR4/flex in fantasy before his injury, so he won't have much fantasy appeal upon his return.
From RotoBaller
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Sterling Shepard was quiet during the Week 10 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. The veteran wideout hauled in one of his three targets for seven yards. Shepard has seen increased snaps lately with the Bucs shorthanded at wideout. However, Shepard could see his role in the offense decrease with Mike Evans (hamstring) likely to return against the New York Giants this weekend. Shepard hasn't offered much value all season and it's unlikely to go up now. Fantasy managers should look elsewhere for help ahead of Week 12.
From RotoBaller
Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Cade Otton has seen his fantasy value skyrocket over the last month or so. The Bucs are shorthanded on offense which has resulted in a bigger role for Otton on offense. The 25-year-old has seen eight or more targets in each of the last four games. However, Otton could see his role decrease with wide receiver Mike Evans (hamstring) likely to return in Week 12. The expectation is that Otton will remain involved, but he could lose some targets. Fantasy managers should still be able to lean on him as a TE1 against the New York Giants this weekend. Although, fantasy managers shouldn't too many more 10-plus target games from Otton.
From RotoBaller
Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Bucky Irving is coming off a strong performance against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 11. The rookie back rushed for 73 yards and a touchdown on 13 attempts on the ground. Irving continues to play well and has been rewarded with more snaps in the backfield. However, Irving is still stuck in a committee with Rachaad White and Sean Tucker, so his fantasy value is limited. Irving does get a plus matchup against the New York Giants this weekend. There are a handful of teams on bye weeks, which could put Irving in the RB2 conversation for this weekend.
From RotoBaller
Los Angeles Chargers rookie wide receiver Ladd McConkey (shoulder) returned to practice on Friday, according to Daniel Popper of The Athletic. This is a great sign, as McConkey was listed as a DNP during Thursday's initial session. Fantasy managers should pay close attention to his status during Saturday's practice, as it will likely provide some clarity on his availability for Monday's game. McConkey sustained this injury during last Sunday's victory over the Cincinnati Bengals. In this game, the Georgia product posted a season-high 123 yards off six receptions. If McConkey can suit up on Monday, he should be viewed as a must-start option facing a Baltimore secondary that has allowed the most PPR points to opposing wideouts this season.
From RotoBaller
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Jalen McMillan wasn't targeted during the Week 10 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. It has been a bummer of a rookie season for McMillan who has 10 receptions for 109 yards through six games. He has been seeing an increase in snaps with Chris Godwin (ankle) and Mike Evans (hamstring) sidelined. However, Evans is expected to return for the Week 12 matchup against the New York Giants. The return of Evans will likely mean less targets for McMillan this weekend. The 22-year-old is worth holding in dynasty leagues, but doesn't have much value outside of that.
From RotoBaller
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb (back/foot) does not carry an injury designation for Sunday's divisional tilt against the Washington Commanders, according to Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network. Even though Lamb does not carry an injury designation, Garafolo noted that the star wideout will go through another walkthrough tomorrow. Fantasy managers should monitor his status in case he faces a setback, but he should be expected to suit up. Even though the Dallas offense has struggled with Cooper Rush under center, Lamb caught eight passes for 93 yards in their loss to the Houston Texans last weekend. Fantasy managers should still view Lamb as a solid WR1 facing a Washington secondary that has allowed the 16th-most PPR points to opposing wideouts.
From RotoBaller
Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Rachaad White has seen his workload in the passing game increase over the last few weeks. In fact, White has five receptions or more with 35-plus receiving in three of his last four games. The biggest problem for White has been in the rushing game. White has been held to 40 rushing yards or less in all of his last four games. The Bucs continue to use a committee approach at running back which limits the value of White. It's worth noting that wide receiver Mike Evans (hamstring) is set to return this weekend. His return could mean less targets for White in the passing game. Fantasy managers should treat White as a low-end RB2 for Week 12.
