Los Angeles Chargers general manager Joe Hortiz said he feels it's realistic to keep linebacker Joey Bosa at his $36.4 million salary cap number in 2025. "I know he wants to retire a charger. .. I'd love for him to retire a Charger. I love Joey -- the teammate, the competitor," Hortiz said. Bosa is scheduled to make $25.36 million this year, with nearly half of it coming in the form of a $12.36 million roster bonus due in March. None of the 29-year-old's 2025 money is guaranteed, but if they do want to bring him back, they will have to decide on that before his roster bonus is due. Many folks think that the Chargers would be better off cutting Bosa, who had only five sacks in 14 games in 2024, but he could be a priority to retain since fellow pass-rusher Khalil Mack will be an unrestricted free agent and can't be franchise-tagged. Bosa, who is as injury-prone as ever, no longer appears to be a dominant pass-rusher in the NFL.

Philadelphia Eagles general manager Howie Roseman said at the NFL Combine on Tuesday that the team will make a "concerted effort" to re-sign impending free-agent linebacker Zack Baun this offseason. "We didn't do any deals during the season, which probably could have prevented some of these problems, but we just didn't feel like the timing was right," Roseman said. Baun, a former third-rounder by the New Orleans Saints in 2020 out of Wisconsin, came out of nowhere to have a monster season for the Super Bowl-champion Eagles in his first year in Philadelphia. The 28-year-old made the Pro Bowl and was named a first-team All-Pro by recording 151 tackles (93 solo), 3.5 sacks, 11 tackles for loss, five QB hits, an interception, five forced fumbles and a fumble recovery in 16 regular-season starts. The Eagles have plenty of other priorities this offseason, so seeing Baun walk in free agency would not be a surprise.

Las Vegas Raiders minority owner Tom Brady has been in contact with Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford's camp about the possibility of coming to Vegas, multiple NFL sources told the Las Vegas Review-Journal's Vincent Bonsignore. The Rams have already given Stafford permission to speak with other teams to gauge his market outside of L.A. The 37-year-old signal-caller has two years left on his deal with the Rams, but he's seeking an extension because he has minimal guaranteed money left on his deal and wants to be paid in line with some of the top QBs in the league. If the Raiders are willing to give Stafford over $50 million for a couple more years, it just might lure him away from the Rams, although it wouldn't necessarily make him any more appealing from a fantasy perspective as a QB2 near the end of his career.

New Las Vegas Raiders general manager John Spytek said on Tuesday at the NFL Combine that the team wants to keep All-Pro pass-rusher Maxx Crosby in town long term. The 27-year-old four-time Pro Bowler is entering the final two seasons of a four-year, $94 million deal but has run out of guaranteed money on his contract. His $22.2 million salary in 2025 and $18.8 million salary in 2026 are not guaranteed, and a new deal would likely make him one of the league's highest-paid pass-rushers. The Las Vegas Review-Journal's Vincent Bonsignore writes that it would be surprising if a new deal between the Raiders and Crosby isn't struck before the start of the 2025 season this fall. Crosby played in a career-low 12 games in 2024 due to injury and had 7.5 sacks, but he's been a Pro Bowler each of the last four years and is one of the best pass-rushers in the NFL when healthy.

Minnesota Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell said that quarterback J.J. McCarthy (knee) has his sights set on being ready for the start of the team's offseason program in April. The head coach said that McCarthy's rehab from season-ending knee surgery in 2024 continues to go well. The 22-year-old first-rounder (10th overall) tore the meniscus in his right knee in the preseason and had to miss all of his first year in the NFL. Meanwhile, Sam Darnold had a career year for the Vikings. Darnold will be an unrestricted free agent in March, but it will be telling whether the Vikings let him walk, place the franchise tag on him or sign him to a multi-year extension. Minnesota still believes in McCarthy as their QB of the future, but depending on how they deal with the Darnold situation, he could be in for another "redshirt" year in 2025.

Pittsburgh Steelers general manager Omar Khan said on Tuesday at the NFL Combine that the team will tender an offer to impending restricted free-agent running back Jaylen Warren. The second-round tender will be worth $5.2 million, while an original-round tender for Warren would be for $3.19 million. If the Steelers give him the original-round tender and he signs with another team, they wouldn't receive draft-pick compensation because he wasn't drafted in 2022. Meanwhile, Najee Harris will be an unrestricted free agent after the Steelers declined his fifth-year option. The 26-year-old Warren's fantasy value in 2025 will all depend on if he stays in Pittsburgh and also whether Harris is re-signed. Warren looked ready to break out after going for 784 rushing yards in 2023, but he took a step back in 2024 with 120 carries, 511 yards and just one rushing score in 15 regular-season games.

Baltimore Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta said on Tuesday at the NFL Combine that he has met with kicker Justin Tucker and that the Ravens will allow the NFL to conduct its investigation before making any decisions. "The allegations are serious, concerning. The amount of allegations are serious and concerning. I think we're fortunate that the league is doing an investigation. We'll wait as patiently as we can for as much information as we can and we'll make our decisions based on that," DeCosta said. The Charlotte Observer's Xavier Legette (foot) avoided wrist surgery but did have foot surgery this offseason, according to general manager Dan Morgan. Legette played through a foot injury in his first year in the NFL in 2024, which likely played a part in his disappointing showing. After the Panthers selected him 32nd overall out of South Carolina, the 24-year-old struggled to get on the same page with second-year quarterback and caught only 49 of his 84 targets for 497 yards and four touchdowns in 16 games (13 starts). Legette may be forced to miss organized team activities this spring, but he should be fully recovered from his foot surgery in time for the start of training camp this summer. He'll be looking to make a jump in Year 2 in Carolina, but the likely return of veteran Adam Thielen (he was contemplating retirement) could make things more difficult for the former first-rounder.

Baltimore Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta pledged his support for tight end Mark Andrews at the NFL Combine on Tuesday, saying: "Mark is a great player. Mark will be in a ring if honor someday. The Athletic's Matt Schneidman says not to be surprised if the Green Bay Packers reach a contract extension with linebacker Quay Walker this offseason. The deadline to exercise fifth-year options is coming soon, and picking up Walker's fifth-year option would result in a guaranteed salary of around $16.5 million in 2026, according to Over The Cap. It sounds like general manager Brian Gutekunst doesn't want to make Walker the fourth-highest paid off-the-ball linebacker, although it doesn't mean the team doesn't want Walker to stick around into the future. "But yeah, we'd like to find a way to keep Quay around here long-term, whether that be an extension or something," Gutekunst said. Despite playing in only 13 regular-season games in 2024 due to an ankle injury, the former first-rounder finished with 102 combined tackles for the third straight year to begin his NFL career.

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed (shoulder) said on locker cleanout day at the end of last season that he tore his labrum in the wild-card playoff loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. General manager Brian Gutekunst said Reed could be limited during the offseason but should be fine for the start of training camp at the end of July. It was initially reported that the 24-year-old suffered a dislocated shoulder, but the good news is that he didn't require offseason surgery. In his second year in the NFL in 2024, Reed looked primed for his first 1,000-yard campaign early on, but he limped to the finish line and ended up with 55 catches on 75 targets for 857 yards and six touchdowns in 17 regular-season games (10 starts). He also added 20 carries for 163 yards and another score. He's settled in as a boom/bust WR3/flex in fantasy, but he could have more upside with Christian Watson (knee) set to miss at least half of 2025.

Green Bay Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst said that he doesn't think wide receiver Romeo Doubs (concussion) has any long-term concern with his head health despite the fact that he suffered multiple concussions in the second half of the 2024 season, including in the wild-card loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. "Any time a guy has a couple concussions back-to-back, there's some concern there, not necessarily his long-term liability or anything, just for him," Gutekunst said. "I would expect him to bounce back and be at his best." The 24-year-old took a step back in 2024 in his third year in the NFL, but it didn't help that he played in only 13 regular-season games (12 starts). After going for 674 receiving yards and eight TDs in 2023, Doubs finished with a 46-601-4 line. Kansas City Chiefs general manager Brett Veach said on Tuesday at the NFL Combine that the team "will look to get Marquise Brown back." The Chiefs had big plans for Hollywood when they signed him last offseason, but the 27-year-old suffered a shoulder injury in the preseason that required surgery and caused him to miss 15 regular-season games. He eventually returned to play in two games at the tail end of the regular season and caught nine of 15 targets for 91 yards and no touchdowns as he got back up to speed. Brown added five catches on 13 targets for only 50 yards in three playoff games. Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson (knee) had his ACL surgery and is expected to be back around the midway point of the 2025 season, according to The Athletic's Matt Schneidman. "Doing well. He's got a lot in front of him, but I expect him to attack it like he does everything else everything so far's been really good. He's been through this before, so he knows what to expect. It's a big injury. It may take some time, but he's got the right mindset, positive attitude toward it," general manager Brian Gutekunst said. The 25-year-old wideout tore his ACL in Week 18 against the Bears and finished his third year in the NFL with 29 catches (53 targets) for a career-high 620 receiving yards and a career-low two touchdowns in 15 starts. Known as a slow healer, it wouldn't be a surprise if Watson's recovery lingers into the second half. In standard 12-team leagues this fall, Watson will most likely go undrafted.

New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers prefers to play for the Los Angeles Rams and that he would bring wide receiver Davante Adams with him to his next stop, sources told the New York Daily News' Pat Leonard. The new Jets regime has already decided to move on from Rodgers and are expected to designate him as a post-June 1 cut. However, Rodgers and Adams playing for the Rams can only happen if L.A. actually trades current starting QB Matthew Stafford. But even in that scenario, it's unclear if the Rams would consider the 41-year-old Rodgers an upgrade over Stafford. The future Hall of Famer is likely to only play one more season in 2025, and he proved the last two years in New York that Father Time has caught up to him. The four-time MVP tore his Achilles in Week 1 in 2023 and was up in down in 2024, throwing for 3,897 yards, 28 touchdowns and 11 interceptions in 17 starts.

Both New York Jets general manager Darren Mougey and head coach Aaron Glenn made it clear that veteran quarterback Tyrod Taylor is a candidate for the starting job in 2025, although Glenn isn't willing to commit to Taylor as the Week 1 starter. The Jets are designate Aaron Rodgers as a post-June 1 cut, so their decision on who to replace the future Hall of Famer with under center will be the main topic of conversation for the Jets this offseason. Denver Broncos general manager George Paton said at the NFL Combine on Tuesday that the team could re-sign impending free-agent running back Javonte Williams this offseason. "There's a chance we bring Javonte back. I think he's one of the best pass protectors in the league," Paton said. It was previously reported this offseason that Denver was unlikely to bring Williams back in 2025 after another disappointing season in which he averaged just 3.7 yards per carry for 513 rushing yards and four touchdowns on 139 rushing attempts in 17 regular-season games (11 starts). Denver Broncos general manager George Paton said at the NFL Combine on Tuesday that he wants wide receiver Courtland Sutton to stick around Denver and that he will talk to Sutton's agent this week in Indianapolis about a potential contract extension. Sutton voiced displeasure about his contract last offseason, and the Broncos added some incentives to appease him. However, the 29-year-old is surely going to want an upgraded contract this offseason after recording the second 1,000-yard receiving season of his career as rookie quarterback Bo Nix's go-to target in the passing game in 2024. In addition to his 1,081 yards, Sutton caught 81 of his career-high 135 targets and scored eight times, making him a top-15 fantasy wideout. Sutton has 18 touchdowns the last two years and should be treated as a low-end WR1/high-end WR2 heading into 2025 fantasy drafts.

Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix (undisclosed) is "fine" and has been working out after undergoing an undisclosed procedure earlier this offseason, according to head coach Sean Payton. Nix's procedure was not related to his back injury from his rookie season. The surgery shouldn't have any affect on the 25-year-old's 2025 fantasy value after a very impressive first season in the NFL in which he threw for 3,775 yards, 29 touchdowns and 12 interceptions on 567 pass attempts. The first-rounder out of Oregon also ran the ball 92 times for 430 yards and an additional four touchdowns to show off his underrated speed. Nix finished as the QB8 in overall fantasy scoring, and he did it all with a pretty non-existent running game to help him out. The Broncos will surely be looking to beef up their offensive weapons around Nix in his sophomore season, where he'll certainly be in play as a midrange QB1 target in fantasy drafts.

Seattle Seahawks general manager John Schneider said on Tuesday that the team will meet with quarterback Geno Smith's agents this week to begin talks on a contract extension. Schneider said there is no deadline for an extension, but also that Smith is "our guy." Smith was better in 2024 than he was in 2023, throwing for 4,320 yards and 21 touchdowns in 17 starts, although he did throw 15 interceptions -- the most since he tossed 21 in his rookie year in 2013 with the Jets. It was good enough to make him the QB12 in overall fantasy points. The former second-round pick in 2013 out of West Virginia has established himself as a locked-in starter in Seattle the last three years, but at best in fantasy, he's a matchup-based, low-end QB1 streamer who will turn 35 years old this fall. He'll also be working with a new offensive coordinator yet again in 2025.
