Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Rachaad White has been unable to find much success on the ground this season. Luckily, White has been able to find the end zone in each of his last five games. The 25-year-old is starting to become a touchdown-dependent option with the way he's looking on the ground. Last week, White rushed 12 times for 37 yards with one score in the win over the New York Giants. He did very little through the air with only one reception for 10 yards. The return of wide receiver Mike Evans will likely take away some of White's targets going forward. That being said, White could be a bit of a shaky fantasy option down the stretch of the season. However, fantasy managers shouldn't have to worry too much yet with a favorable matchup against the Carolina Panthers this weekend. White should be able to produce in that game and offer low-end RB2 value.
From RotoBaller
New York Jets tight end Tyler Conklin heads out of his bye to face off against the Seattle Seahawks at home in Week 13. Conklin has been one of the main Jets pass catchers negatively affected by the trade that brought Davante Adams to the team as he has just 10 catches in the five games since the latter joined the team. The Seahawks represent a decent matchup for tight ends as they are allowing the 13th-most fantasy points per game to the position but Conklin isn't a big enough piece of the offense to take advantage of this in fantasy. He settles in as a low-end TE3 in fantasy and should not be in consideration for starting lineups this weekend.
From RotoBaller
New York Jets kicker Anders Carlson comes out of his bye to kick against the Seattle Seahawks at home in Week 13. Carlson, who has appeared in one game for New York this season, made both of his field-goal attempts in a loss to the Indianapolis Colts. The Seahawks have been stingy against kickers this season, allowing the 25th-most fantasy points per game to the position thus far. Carlson is not a recommended fantasy option heading into Week 13 against Seattle.
From RotoBaller
Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Bucky Irving posted arguably his best performance of the season against the New York Giants last week. Irving rushed for a season-high 88 yards and found the end zone as well. He also set career highs in receptions with six and 64 additional yards through the air in the win. The 22-year-old continues to earn himself a bigger role on the team with the way he's looking on the field. It's worth noting that he's still sharing carries with Rachaad White in the backfield. Despite that, Irving should be able to produce RB2 value in a favorable matchup against the Carolina Panthers in Week 13.
From RotoBaller
Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield (neck) is good to go after getting a little banged up at the end of last week's win over the New York Giants. The 29-year-old is fine now and is ready to for a divisional matchup against the Carolina Panthers this weekend. Last week, Mayfield completed 24-of-30 passing attempts for 294 yards, but didn't throw a touchdown or interception. Mayfield did find his way to the end zone on the ground, which helped his fantasy value. The expectation is that Mayfield should be in for a strong performance against a struggling Panthers secondary. Mayfield has been an elite fantasy option throughout most of the season so fantasy managers need to keep riding with him.
From RotoBaller
New York Jets wide receiver Davante Adams comes off his bye week to take on the Seattle Seahawks at home in Week 13. Adams has been playing well for the Jets of late, posting 19 catches for 193 yards and one touchdown on 31 targets over his past three contests. The veteran wideout draws a decent matchup against a Seattle defense that is allowing the 16th-most fantasy points per game to opposing wideouts this season. Adams checks in as a mid-range WR2 in fantasy this weekend.
From RotoBaller
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua is presented with an exploitable matchup this Sunday when he lines up against the New Orleans Saints. The second-year wideout has been on fire since returning from an IR stint in Week 8. Over that stretch, Nacua is the overall WR7 in PPR formats, recording four games of at least seven receptions and 98 or more receiving yards. He'll get an excellent opportunity to continue his hot streak in Week 13 in a Saints defense that ranks second to last in yards allowed per game (390.8). The Saints let up 256.6 of those yards through the air, the third-most per contest in the NFL. With the 23-year-old playing at a high level and a blow-up spot ahead of him, the BYU product ranks as RotoBaller's PPR WR5 ahead of this Sunday's slate.
From RotoBaller
Seattle Seahawks kicker Jason Myers has been inconsistent for fantasy in 2024. After a huge 12-point outing in Week 11, Myers followed it up with a six-point outing in Week 12. The Seahawks' offense has been in scoring positions all season, but Myers has not reaped the benefits with field goals. The Seahawks hit the road for a tilt against the New York Jets in Week 13. The Seahawks defense should hold the Jets to a relatively low score and the offense could look to slow the game down and control the pace. Myers projects to hit a few kicks this week, but he is unlikely to be a significant contributor in fantasy. With no teams on a bye in Week 13, there are going to be plenty of kickers to choose from. As such, Myers is not worth the risk of starting in Week 13.
From RotoBaller
New York Jets running back Braelon Allen comes out of his bye to face off against the Seattle Seahawks at home in Week 13. Allen has been mostly phased out of the team's offense of late as he has just 13 total carries over his last three contests. That being said, Breece Hall (knee) is listed as questionable with a knee injury for Week 13's contest. While recent reports are that Hall is expected to play, Allen is worth a look as a potential lead back in case Hall has a setback and ultimately doesn't end up taking the field. If Hall does end up playing, Allen won't be startable in fantasy but he needs to be rostered as a high-end handcuff nonetheless.
From RotoBaller
Seattle Seahawks tight end Noah Fant (groin) will be back in the Seahawks' lineup in Week 13. Fant was almost good to go in Week 12 but was ultimately made inactive. Fant will play in his first game since Week 8. Fant's return will relegate tight end AJ Barner to a backup role once again and give Seattle another weapon in the passing game. Fant had not been much of a fantasy contributor prior to his injury, and he will now be matched up against the No. 5 defense against opposing tight ends in fantasy when the Seahawks visit the New York Jets this week. With DK Metcalf (shoulder) and Tyler Lockett (knee) banged up, Fant's return could not have come sooner. However, with both players good to go in Week 13, Fant is unlikely to be a very good fantasy option coming off a multiple-week injury.
From RotoBaller
New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson returns from his bye to take on the Seattle Seahawks at home in Week 13. After a scorching hot month of October, Wilson is coming off two straight pedestrian outings since the calendar flipped to November, posting just nine catches for 59 scoreless yards over that span. He will look to bounce back against a Seattle defense that is allowing the 16th-most fantasy points per game to opposing wideouts this season. Despite the recent struggles, Wilson remains an elite talent and a focal point of the New York passing offense that concentrates its targets to him and Davante Adams, making him a high-end WR2 in fantasy for this weekend.
From RotoBaller
Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba is poised to continue his strong second half of the season in Week 13. The Seahawks travel to New York to battle the dejected New York Jets. The Jets' passing defense started strong in 2024. However, since they fired head coach Robert Saleh after five games, the defense has not been nearly as dominant. They still have enough talent to stifle opposing passing offenses, but Smith-Njigba is too key of a piece for the Seahawks to be slowed down right now. He has consistently led the team in targets over the last few weeks, and he has scored a touchdown in two of his last three games. Smith-Njigba has not finished lower than WR13 in a given week over that same span. He is clearly a go-to target for quarterback Geno Smith at this point in the season. Additionally, with DK Metcalf (shoulder) and Tyler Lockett (knee) banged up, Smith-Njigba figures to be that much more important to this offense in Week 13.
From RotoBaller
Seattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith checks in as a QB2 in Seattle's Week 13 matchup with the New York Jets. The Jets have not been as dominant at stopping the pass in recent weeks. Additionally, their offense does not project to force Seattle to take to the air repeatedly. The Seahawks have also toned down their passing volume over the last several weeks. Smith threw at least 44 passes in four of the team's first six games. However, he has not exceeded 34 attempts since Week 6. The Seahawks should be in a neutral to positive game script for most of this one and are likely to try and establish the run and stick to it on a frigid New York day. The Jets are No. 15 against opposing quarterbacks in fantasy. As such, if Smith does have to take to the air, this is not the most frightening matchup. Even so, with no teams on a bye this week, you can likely do much better than Smith. Leave him on your bench in Week 13.
From RotoBaller
Seattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III has a chance to deliver big numbers for the Seahawks in Week 13. The Jets have been solid against opposing running backs in fantasy throughout the season. However, they have struggled to contain quality backs this season such as Najee Harris, James Conner, and Joe Mixon. Walker has been held in check of late, but Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald remains committed to establishing the run for this team. Walker also continues to be an excellent pass catcher this season. His 36 receptions for 274 yards are both career highs and the Seahawks still have six games to go this season. Whether the Seahawks are ahead or behind in this game, Walker will be heavily involved. This game will be in the mid-30s with a breeze. It would behoove the Seahawks to try and stick to the run as a result. Walker should be started with confidence this week. He is due for a massive breakaway run as well.
From RotoBaller
Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. has had 15 targets and 11 catches over the last two weeks with Anthony Richardson under center, which is particularly impressive given Richardson's 53.4% completion rate during that time. Josh Downs had been the clear leader at the receiver position until two weeks ago, but now has eight catches on 12 targets over the last two weeks. Downs was injured last week and will not play Sunday, so Pittman will have even less competition for looks. The 27-year-old, who practiced in full all week, will face a Patriots pass defense that has yielded three 100-yard receivers in the last two games and has allowed the fifth-most fantasy points to the WR position this season. Despite the setup, with Richardson not throwing many TD passes (five through seven full games) and winds that will make it feel close to freezing in Foxboro, the fifth-year pro looks like a WR3 on Sunday.
From RotoBaller
The Minnesota Vikings defense/special teams will again be a strong play this weekend when they line up against the Arizona Cardinals. The Vikings' defense has been one of the best units all season, racking up 22 turnovers (second most) and limiting opponents to 3.6 yards per carry and an average of 74.73 yards on the ground per contest -; the fewest in the league. Quarterback Kyler Murray has been careful with the football this season, but Arizona is averaging just 22.2 points per game -; tied for the sixteenth-most in the league. Even with the dynamic Murray on the other side of the ball, fantasy gamers should have no qualms about firing up Minnesota's D/ST. They rank as RotoBaller's D/ST8 in this week's ranks.
From RotoBaller
Jacksonville Jaguars running back Tank Bigsby (ankle) practiced in full all week and was removed from Friday's Week 13 injury report. Coming out of the bye week, Bigsby will be active for the Jags this Sunday against the division-rival Houston Texans. The 23-year-old missed the Week 11 loss to the Detroit Lions but will be able to return after resting his ankle during the Week 12 bye. In addition to getting Bigsby back, the Jaguars offense is also expected to have quarterback Trevor Lawrence back, which will be a big upgrade for all of Jacksonville's offensive skill players, including Bigsby. Averaging a healthy 5.5 yards per carry on his 95 rushing attempts through 10 games this year, Bigsby has been more efficient than backfield mate Travis Etienne Jr. However, he will continue to share valuable touches with Etienne and pass-catching back D'Ernest Johnson, making him more of a RB3/flex play in fantasy.
From RotoBaller
Minnesota Vikings tight end T.J. Hockenson could again be in store for a productive day this weekend when his team hosts the visiting Arizona Cardinals. The 27-year-old now has two excellent and two subpar outings in his first stretch back from a devastating knee injury. Hockenson has combined for 15 receptions and 186 yards on 18 targets in the former. However, he has just five receptions and 40 yards in the other two. The one clear difference between his appearance against the Bears in Week 12 and the other three is his snap share, which skyrocketed to 68% after hovering around 46% previously. This was due to teammate Josh Oliver (hand) being ruled out for the contest, but that will again be the case this Sunday when he lines up against the Cardinals. With increasing involvement in the offense, he can again be trusted as a top fantasy option at his position. He's RotoBaller's PPR TE6 for this week's slate of games.
From RotoBaller
New York Jets linebacker C.J. Mosley (neck) is listed as questionable for the Week 13 contest against the visiting Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, but he does not expect to play. Mosley practiced in full on Wednesday and Thursday but apparently suffered a setback on Friday and was limited. In addition to Mosley, safety Chuck Clark (shin) in questionable to face the Seahawks, while offensive lineman Tyron Smith (neck) has been ruled out. The 32-year-old Mosley has missed the team's last four games and is on track to miss a fifth straight this Sunday. If the Jets activate offensive guard Xavier Newman (concussion) from Injured Reserve, they could place Smith on IR in a corresponding move before Sunday's game. The Jets defense/special teams has been a disappointment for fantasy managers this year and should be avoided this weekend against Seattle.
From RotoBaller
Minnesota Vikings kicker John Parker Romo could be in store for another strong performance this Sunday when his team takes on the Arizona Cardinals. The second-year player has been excellent through three games while he fills in for teammate Will Reichard (quad) -; drilling all eight of his field goal attempts and missing just one of six extra-point tries. Romo was last weekend's hero, connecting on a game-winning kick in OT to fell the Bears 30-27. He again might have a viable outing against a Cardinals team that has been difficult to score on in recent weeks but has allowed a good bit of yardage throughout the season. Even in a tough matchup, the Vikings' offense should be able to move the rock effectively -; paving the way to a solid day for the 27-year-old. He's RotoBaller's K12 in this week's rankings.
