San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle nearly ghosted fantasy managers in a 35-10 loss to the Bills in a snowy Orchard Park on Sunday night. The leader in half-PPR points per game at tight end had his worst game of the season, finishing with one reception on two targets for seven yards. Kittle's feeble output probably has little to do with Kittle himself, as the entire 49ers offense was behind the eight-ball from the start. The snow, the offensive line injuries, and running back Christian McCaffrey leaving early were never likely to lead to great offensive numbers for any 49ers. There is not a lot to be done from a fantasy perspective besides flush this one. Kittle will get the Chicago Bears in a neutral matchup at home in Week 14, where he'll once again be a must-start.

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling struck again in Sunday's 21-14 loss to the Los Angeles Rams, catching two of three targets for 36 yards and a touchdown. He and quarterback David Carr hooked up for a 28-yard touchdown early in the fourth quarter, giving MVS his fourth touchdown in the Saints' last three games. Similar to his previous efforts, he saw little action outside of his long play for the score despite having the highest snap share among the Saints' receivers. MVS nearly had another big gain for a possible touchdown earlier in the game, but the pass from Carr was well overthrown. Up next for the Saints are the New York Giants. New York has allowed 20 completions on 29 pass attempts of 20 air yards or more, which offers some optimism that MVS might make another big play in Week 14, however improbable that may seem.

New Orleans Saints tight end Juwan Johnson tied teammate Taysom Hill (knee) to lead the team in receptions and targets in Sunday's loss to the Rams. Johnson logged five catches on seven receptions for 36 receiving yards, which was good for second-most on the team (tied with Marquez Valdes-Scantling). The bulk of Johnson's yardage came on a 21-yard catch early in the fourth quarter. Hill suffered a knee injury in the fourth quarter and it may cost him multiple weeks. While that would thin out the Saints' depth at tight end, it won't necessarily result in increased production from Johnson. Despite New Orleans' season-long struggles with injuries to its pass-catchers, Johnson has been fairly quiet. His five catches on Sunday were the most he had since Week 5. Johnson's prospects for Week 14's matchup against the New York Giants are not great. In 2024, the Giants have allowed the second-fewest receptions and fourth-fewest receiving yards to opposing tight ends and just one touchdown to the position.

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel Sr. didn't do much to regain fantasy managers' confidence during a 35-10 defeat to the Bills in Buffalo on Sunday night. Samuel Sr. finished with four receptions on five targets for 20 yards receiving. He also lost a fumble. The modest reception total represented a team-high, and the targets tied fellow wideout Jauan Jennings for the team lead. In fairness to Deebo, San Francisco's entire offense was discombobulated in the snowy affair. Down two offensive linemen in heavy snow before losing running back Christian McCaffrey to a knee injury makes for a rough assignment against one of the best teams in football. At the same time, it marks the third straight game that Samuel Sr. has been held below five half-PPR points in fantasy. It's worth noting that Samuel Sr.'s lone unfulfilled target on Sunday should have been caught, which followed two crucial drops in Green Bay last week. Samuel Sr. gets another chance to turn it around against the Chicago Bears at home in Week 14.

New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara handled 23 carries in Sunday's 21-14 loss to the Rams, gaining 112 yards on the ground. He also caught four of his six targets for seven receiving yards, which was a new season-low. It was his third 100-yard rushing day of 2024 but the talented back extended his scoreless streak to a sixth game, his last trip to the end zone being in Week 6 against the Buccaneers. Kamara nearly got off the schneid with a 12-yard touchdown reception in the first quarter but the score was nullified by a penalty. Already one of the most frequently used players in the league, the Saints are likely to lean on Kamara even more going forward after Taysom Hill (knee) picked up an injury in the fourth quarter that may sideline him for multiple weeks. Kamara's next matchup suits him well. In Week 14 he will go against the New York Giants, who just gave up 112 yards and a touchdown to Rico Dowdle on Thanksgiving and have allowed the eighth-most receiving yards to opposing running backs this season.
From RotoBaller
Despite recording his most passing attempts and second-highest completion total of the season, New Orleans Saints quarterback Derek Carr finished with a mediocre line in Sunday's 21-14 loss to the Rams. Carr went 24-for-37 for 184 yards (his third-lowest total of 2024) with one touchdown. The touchdown went to Marquez Valdes-Scantling, their fourth connection for a score in the Saints' last three games. Once again, the duo linked up on a deep shot, with Carr hitting his man from 28 yards out. Despite the Rams' vulnerability against deep passes, most of Carr's attempts were quick crosses and outs for short gains, his touchdown pass being the only completion of four attempts to clear 20-plus air yards. The Saints face the Giants in Week 14, though it will be tough to trust Carr as a bounceback candidate. New York has held opposing quarterbacks to 213.3 passing yards per game this year and has allowed just 12 passing touchdowns.
From RotoBaller
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings had a muted performance in a 35-10 loss to the Bills in Buffalo on Sunday night. The former seventh-round pick caught three of five targets for a team-high 56 yards. San Francisco's passing offense was almost nonexistent in the snowy affair, as Jennings shared the target lead with Deebo Samuel Sr. There should be sunnier days ahead for Jennings, who is the half-PPR WR23 in points per game this year, sandwiched between Tennesee's Nick Westbook-Ikhine and Jaguars rookie wideout Brian Thomas Jr. Jennings has two favorable matchups left on tap this season -- both at home -- in Week 15 versus the Rams and Week 17 versus Detroit. Next week, however, he gets the Chicago Bears who have allowed the sixth-fewest points per game to wide receivers.
From RotoBaller
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua caught five of his eight targets for 56 yards and one touchdown during Sunday's Week 13 win over the New Orleans Saints. Few receivers have been performing as well as Nacua, who is the overall WR2 in fantasy football since Week 10. He has been able to thrive even when the Rams' passing attack has taken a step backward; this Sunday, he delivered an impressive fantasy performance despite Cooper Kupp having his worst game of the year and Matthew Stafford delivering his second-lowest passing yards total. Nacua continues to rank as a high-end WR1 and should be started in all leagues ahead of Week 14 against the Buffalo Bills.
From RotoBaller
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp caught three of six targets for just 17 yards during Sunday's Week 13 win over the New Orleans Saints. This was Kupp's worst game of the season in terms of receptions, yardage, and fantasy points. He had been the overall WR3 over the last five weeks before Sunday's outing sunk his average and points total. On one hand, Kupp was drastically out-produced by Puka Nacua, suggesting Nacua may be Matthew Stafford's preferred option going forward. On the other hand, this was clearly an anomalous outing for the entire Rams' passing game, including Stafford, whose 183 yards represented his second-lowest mark of the season. Look for Kupp to bounce back as a mid-to-high fantasy WR1 in Week 14 against the Buffalo Bills.
From RotoBaller
San Francisco 49ers running back Jordan Mason found some traction in an ugly 35-10 loss to the Bills in Orchard Park on Sunday night. The 25-year-old did most of his work after starter Christian McCaffrey (knee) left the game, finishing with 78 yards on 13 carries and no touchdowns. In a development that is sure to shake up fantasy leagues everywhere, McCaffrey's injury is feared to be significant, opening up championship hopes to those who held on to Mason through CMC's return. In six starts this year, Mason averaged 5.1 yards per carry and scored three touchdowns. Ahead of Week 14, fantasy managers in leagues where Mason is unclaimed should be prepared to break the bank on the waiver wire if McCaffrey is done for the year. Mason and the 49ers get the Chicago Bears at home next week, in a must-win against a vulnerable rush defense.
From RotoBaller
Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf (knee) was helped off the field during Sunday's game against the New York Jets, but he was cleared to return two plays later. "He tweaked his knee," head coach Mike Macdonald said. "We did a bunch of tests and stuff, and I think he's doing all right right now. We'll see." As of now, it sounds as though Metcalf has a good chance to play in Week 14, but he'll likely still appear on their injury report over the next few days. If active, Metcalf will rank as a mid-to-low fantasy WR2 against Arizona.
From RotoBaller
Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford completed 14 of his 24 pass attempts for 183 yards, two touchdowns, and zero interceptions during Sunday's Week 13 win over the New Orleans Saints. The veteran turned in his second-lowest yardage total of the season, but he still managed to turn in his third consecutive outing with at least 21 fantasy points. He has continued to play quite well lately, ranking as the overall fantasy QB7 from Week 8 through Week 13. Not only has he supported the Rams and his own fantasy value, but he has also boosted the value of the players around him, including Cooper Kupp, Puka Nacua, and Kyren Williams. Stafford is a top-18 fantasy option for Week 14 against the Bills while keeping Kupp, Nacua, and Williams in must-start territory.
From RotoBaller
Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. led the team in targets, catches, and receiving yards on Sunday, but with quarterback Anthony Richardson completing just 12 passes, it didn't amount to much. The 27-year-old caught five of seven targets for 42 scoreless yards, although the Colts were able to pull off a 25-24 victory anyway thanks to the legs of Jonathan Taylor and the aforementioned Richardson. Since Richardson was reinserted as the starting quarterback, Pittman Jr. has seemingly taken over as the preferred option in the passing game, although he had less competition on Sunday with Josh Downs out with an injury. The former second-round draft pick has at least seven targets and five catches in the last three games, however, it will be hard to exceed that output when the Colts come out of their by in Week 15 as they will face a stout Denver pass defense on the road.
From RotoBaller
New Orleans Saints safety Tyrann Mathieu (shoulder) exited Sunday's game during the third quarter, but his injury is not believed to be serious. According to Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football, Mathieu is expected to play in Week 14 against the New York Giants. The 32-year-old registered two tackles in Sunday's loss, bringing his season total to 43. He also has two interceptions and one fumble recovery this year. The Saints' defense is at its best when Mathieu is in the lineup, so this update from Underhill is quite promising. New Orleans takes on the New York Giants next week.
From RotoBaller
San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy struggled in a 35-10 loss to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday night. In a snow-filled Highmark Stadium, Purdy slipped and slid to a disappointing 11-for-18, 94-yard performance with no touchdowns and one fumble lost. He scrambled twice for four yards rushing. Almost nothing went right for the 49ers in this one, as they entered the game with a patchwork offensive line and Christian McCaffrey being ruled out with a knee injury in the second quarter, not to mention the snow which persisted throughout the game despite early-week predictions that it would let up in the first half. In a microcosm of the game itself, Purdy's turnover came on a pass attempt that slipped out of his hand before his arm started moving forward, acting as a microcosm of the game itself. Purdy seemed to show no ill effects of the shoulder injury that kept him out of the Green Bay game in Week 12. Purdy will look to bounce back in familiar home conditions in Week 14 when he'll face a quality Chicago Bears pass defense.

The Atlanta Falcons defense held the Chargers to just 17 points, the fewest amount of points they've held an opponent to all season, but they still lost the game as the offense could only produce 13 points. They were able to limit Los Angeles due in part to the five sacks that were recorded on the day. It was an impressive performance as the team came into the week with only 10 sacks on the season. Linebacker Arnold Ebiketie led the way with two of the five sacks. The defense also recovered a fumble, making them one of the top 10 defenses this week in terms of fantasy scoring. While next week's matchup against the Vikings may not be favorable, the Falcons have two solid matchups during the fantasy playoffs against the Raiders and the Giants that could make them an intriguing streaming option.
From RotoBaller
San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey suffered a knee injury in the Week 13 blowout loss to the Buffalo Bills. The superstar running back left in the first half and didn't return. While fantasy players worried he suffered an Achilles injury, the team quickly called it a knee injury. Unfortunately, head coach Kyle Shanahan said after the game that the 49ers fear McCaffrey might have suffered a season-ending PCL injury. Fantasy players who spend the top pick in their fantasy drafts might only get four games from the superstar running back this year. Jordan Mason and Isaac Guerendo will likely split the backfield work with McCaffrey out of the lineup. Mason had 13 rushing attempts compared to four for Guerendo after McCaffrey left the matchup against the Bills.
From RotoBaller
Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Ray-Ray McCloud III recorded a 60-yard reception on Sunday, finishing the game with 95 yards receiving on four catches (six targets) in the 17-13 loss to the Chargers. After not recording six targets in a game from Weeks 6 through 10, the 28-year-old has logged back-to-back weeks with six targets. The increase in usage appears to have come at the expense of tight end Kyle Pitts who has one catch on five targets in the last two weeks combined. McCloud has just one touchdown on the season, but if he can maintain this level of production, then he could make for a useful Flex option in PPR formats. The Falcons take on the Vikings in Week 14 who have allowed wide receivers to feast this season, so the veteran wideout could have another productive showing next Sunday.
From RotoBaller
Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Darnell Mooney earned six targets on Sunday but was able to convert just three of them into receptions for 20 yards receiving in a 17-13 loss to the Chargers. That now makes five catches for 47 yards over the last two games. Still, it's the ninth time in 12 contests that the 27-year-old has drawn at least six targets, so his role appears to be secure. It is the Falcon offense that has become less effective, namely, Kirk Cousins who has thrown six interceptions and zero touchdowns the last three weeks. The good news is that Cousins and the Falcons have a chance to right the ship in Week 14 against the Vikings who have been one of the most fruitful defenses to play against in terms of fantasy scoring for opposing wide receivers. Mooney figures to be in the WR3 range for that contest.
From RotoBaller
Updating previous reports, New Orleans Saints tight end Taysom Hill (knee) was carted off the field in Sunday's loss to the Los Angeles Rams with a knee injury that the team fears is season-ending, according to sources. Hill will undergo an MRI exam on Monday to determine the severity of the injury, but the Saints aren't expecting good news. Before being carted off at the Caesars Superdome, the do-it-all offensive player had five rushing attempts for 10 yards and caught five of his seven targets for a team-high 37 yards through the air. Hill's seven targets and five receptions were tied for the team lead. The 34-year-old had 138 rushing yards and three TDs before the team's Week 12 bye and is by far the team's most versatile offensive weapons, so losing him for the rest of the year would be a big blow for the Saints' offense. Juwan Johnson will be worth waiver-wire consideration this coming week.
