Tyler Lockett Oct 25 8:20pm ET
    Tyler Lockett

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett is in a great position to succeed in Week 8 against the Buffalo Bills. With top wide receiver DK Metcalf (knee) doubtful in this game, Lockett projects to see serious volume alongside fellow wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba. Lockett has been a steady contributor in 2024. He has been able to deliver consistent flex value with solid volume given how much the Seahawks are throwing the ball. He has a chance to turn back the clock in Week 8 with Metcalf likely out. Geno Smith trusts Lockett and should throw to him over and over in Week 8. Lockett should push for double-digit targets, and he has a good chance of finding the end zone. If you have injuries at the wide receiver position this week, then Lockett is your guy.

    A.J. Brown Oct 25 8:20pm ET
    A.J. Brown

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown will travel to Cincinnati to take on the Bengals in Week 8. The 27-year-old made his return to the field last week after being out since the regular season opener with a hamstring injury. The Eagles only needed to pass 14 times to beat the New York Giants, but Brown still took five targets for 89 yards and a touchdown. Now, the Eagles face a Bengals offense that struggles to stop the pass. The Bengals have allowed the 11th-most passing yards this season and have the firepower on offense to make the Eagles stay in a passing game script. No fantasy manager is sitting Brown, but this is a week where he could realistically finish as the WR1 overall in a juicy matchup where he will be needed in order to get the Eagles a win.

    D.K. Metcalf Oct 25 8:20pm ET
    D.K. Metcalf

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith has been a solid quarterback streaming option in 2024. He should deliver solid value again in Week 8 against the Buffalo Bills, but you should temper expectations with DK Metcalf (knee) unlikely to play in this game. The Bills are also an absolute run-funnel. Teams have been able to run on them with ease which suggests this could be a big Kenneth Walker III (illness) day. Even so, they are relatively unproven as a pass defense. They have not faced a passing attack as voluminous and high-powered as the Seahawks in 2024. Still, any quarterback without a stud such as Metcalf in the lineup would experience a downgrade against most opponents. Smith is still a quality option this week but consider making other arrangements if your roster can handle it.

    D.K. Metcalf Oct 25 8:20pm ET
    D.K. Metcalf

Seattle Seahawks tight end Noah Fant has come alive in recent weeks. Fant has ten receptions in his last two games combined and he has at least 63 receiving yards in both games. He has a chance to deliver numbers like that once again in Week 8 when the Seahawks host the Buffalo Bills. The Seahawks are likely going to hand the ball off quite a bit given the Bills' poor rushing defense. However, the Bills offense is potent and should force the Seahawks to air it out at least a fair amount. Top Seahawks target DK Metcalf (knee) does not look like he will play in this game. The Seahawks are very top-heavy in the wide receiver room and Fant would likely be the next man up in line for targets. He should be a safe play this week, especially in the tight end landscape we currently find ourselves in.

DeVonta Smith Oct 25 8:20pm ET
    DeVonta Smith

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith will go on the road to take on the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 8. The former Heisman winner finished with just one reception for a loss of two yards in last week's blowout win over the rival New York Giants, marking the first time this season he had finished outside the top 30 wide receivers. Before the team's Week 5 bye, Smith had averaged nine targets per game and seven receptions. He was used sparingly against the Browns in Week 6 before last week's game. This, however, is the perfect bounce-back spot against a Bengals defense that ranks middle of the pack against wide receivers but has given up the 11th-most passing yards in the league through seven weeks. A.J. Brown will get him, but Smith should be considered a strong WR2 despite last week's disappointing performance.

    From RotoBaller

Jake Bobo Oct 25 8:20pm ET
    Jake Bobo

With Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf (knee) trending towards missing this week's game against the Buffalo Bills, it appears as though wide receiver Jake Bobo will fill the No. 3 wide receiver role behind Tyler Lockett and Jaxon Smith-Njigba. Bobo is a quality NFL player, but he does not project to receive the same amount of volume that Lockett and Smith-Njigba do in this offense. Instead, expect the Seahawks to rely on a heavy dose of running back Kenneth Walker III (illness) and spread the ball around to other players not named Lockett or Smith-Njigba. As such, Bobo should remain on waivers, especially since Metcalf's injury is not serious or long-term.

    From RotoBaller

Grant Calcaterra Oct 25 8:20pm ET
    Grant Calcaterra

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Grant Calcaterra will travel to Cincinnati to take on the Bengals in Week 8. The 25-year-old filled in for Dallas Goedert (hamstring) last week and was a popular waiver wire option but ended the day with just one target which he took for a five-yard reception. However, the Eagles threw the ball just 14 times in the game where they leaned on Saquon Barkley and the run game to blow out the Giants. This week, that will likely not be the case. The Bengals' offense is going to test the Eagles' defense and likely make the Eagles throw at a much higher rate than last week. To top it all off, the Bengals allow the third-most fantasy points per game to tight ends. It may feel shaky, but the third-year tight end should be near the top of the streaming options list in Week 8.

    From RotoBaller

Jake Elliott Oct 25 8:20pm ET
    Jake Elliott

Philadelphia Eagles kicker Jake Elliott will go on the road to take on the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 8. The 24-year-old did not need to attempt a field goal last week in the Eagles' blowout win over the New York Giants, making for a poor fantasy performance propelled by four extra-point conversions. It has been a rough fantasy season for a man who had the best fantasy season of his career just last year, but this is a potentially high-scoring matchup where he could be needed, leaving him right on the streaming radar in Week 8. It is risky, but the matchup warrants the attention of fantasy managers who are struggling to find a kicker this week.

    From RotoBaller

Tyler Conklin Oct 25 8:10pm ET
    Tyler Conklin

New York Jets tight end Tyler Conklin (hip) has practiced fully all week as his team prepares to take on the New England Patriots on the road in Week 8. Conklin has been dealing with a hip injury over the past few weeks but he is listed without an injury designation on the Jets' final injury report heading into the weekend. The Patriots have been tough on tight ends in fantasy this season, allowing just the 22nd-most fantasy points per game to the position thus far. Conklin could see a few extra targets with Allen Lazard (chest) listed as doubtful for the game but he still checks in as a low-end TE2 heading into the weekend.

    From RotoBaller

Kenneth Walker III Oct 25 8:10pm ET
    Kenneth Walker III

Seattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III (illness) is in a great position to deliver a smash performance in fantasy in Week 8 against the Buffalo Bills. The Bills boast the second-worst defense against opposing running backs in fantasy. Teams have been able to run all over them. Insert the hyper-efficient and explosive Walker, and the Bills will have their hands full. Walker has been excellent in 2024. His worst game saw him score 14.6 fantasy points. Otherwise, Walker has scored at least 18.9 fantasy points in every healthy game this season. Walker has been astonishing as both a runner and a receiver and he has scored touchdowns at a high rate. His involvement in the passing game suggests that he will not suffer from the negative game script the Seahawks could find themselves in against a great offense. It is worth mentioning that Walker was limited in practice this week due to an illness that popped up over the weekend. He was a full participant on Friday. The illness did not stop him from running all over the Atlanta Falcons in Week 7. If you have Walker, keep letting the good times roll in Week 8.

    From RotoBaller

Jalen Hurts Oct 25 8:10pm ET
    Jalen Hurts

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts will go on the road to take on the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 8. The 26-year-old has looked strong since the bye week, tallying five touchdowns, and has turned the ball over zero times. Last week, Hurts threw the ball 14 times for only 114 yards and a touchdown, but the Eagles leaned heavily on the run game and Saquon Barkley against his former team and put the game out of reach early in the second half. The Bengals present a much better challenge for Philadelphia in Week 8, but their defense has been terrible against opposing fantasy quarterbacks. Cincinnati allows the sixth-most fantasy points per game to the quarterback position and the third-most to tight ends. The Eagles will try to run the ball as much as possible but Hurts and the duo of A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith will need to be the focal point if they want to win this game. Consider the fifth-year vet a top-three option in Week 8.

    From RotoBaller

    Jaxon Smith-Njigba Oct 25 8:10pm ET
    Jaxon Smith-Njigba

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba could be the Seahawks' No. 1 wide receiver in Week 8 against the Buffalo Bills. With top wide receiver DK Metcalf (knee) doubtful for this game, fantasy managers may get a good look at what Smith-Njigba can really do. Smith-Njigba has been frustrating for fantasy managers waiting for a potential breakout. He showed flashes of his potential in Week 2 when he caught 12 passes for 117 yards. He has otherwise had to compete with Tyler Lockett for targets behind Metcalf. With Metcalf likely out of the lineup, expect the Seahawks to consolidate targets between Smith-Njigba and Lockett. Given how top-heavy the Seahawks' wide receiver room is, there is not really anyone who projects to eat into a significant chunk of Smith-Njigba's volume. This game projects to be very high-scoring which should give Smith-Njigba a chance at double-digit targets. He should be in your lineup in Week 8.

    From RotoBaller

Saquon Barkley Oct 25 8:10pm ET
    Saquon Barkley

Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley will go on the road to take on the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 8. The 27-year-old nearly broke his career rushing record in the team's win over his former team, the New York Giants, last week and ended the day with 187 total yards and a touchdown. With that revenge game behind him, Barkley looks to take on a Bengals defense that is much better at stopping the run than they are at stopping the pass. Quarterback Jalen Hurts only needed to throw 14 times last week, but do not expect the same run-heavy game script this week against the Bengals. Barkley is a set-it-and-forget-it RB1, but this game could see him being more involved as a receiver if the Eagles have to try and play catchup.

    From RotoBaller

Garrett Wilson Oct 25 8:00pm ET
    Garrett Wilson

New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson showed he could coexist with Davante Adams last week as he caught five of his nine targets for 61 yards while adding a two-point conversion catch in a loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. He will look to stay involved in the offense against the New England Patriots on the road in Week 8. The Patriots have been mediocre against wide receivers this season, allowing the 13th-most fantasy points per game to the position. Wilson caught five passes for 33 yards and a touchdown back when these two teams met in Week 3 and can be utilized as a high-end WR2 heading into Week 8's rematch.

    From RotoBaller

Davante Adams Oct 25 8:00pm ET
    Davante Adams

New York Jets wide receiver Davante Adams had a quiet debut with his new team in Week 7, catching just three of his nine targets for 30 yards in a loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Adams will look to bounce back on the road against the New England Patriots in Week 8. The Patriots have been a decent matchup for receivers this season, allowing the 13th-most fantasy points per game to the position thus far. Another reason for optimism for Adams is it looks like Allen Lazard (chest) is unlikely to play in Week 8, which will consolidate targets around Adams and Garrett Wilson more than usual. Treat Adams as a low-end WR2 heading into Week 8 against the Patriots.

    From RotoBaller

Jason Myers Oct 25 8:00pm ET
    Jason Myers

Seattle Seahawks kicker Jason Myers continues to be a quality kicker in fantasy in 2024. Myers got back into the double-digit scoring ranks when he sank two field goals and four extra points against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 7. The Seahawks are trending towards another game that will require high-scoring output in Week 8 when the Buffalo Bills come to town. Josh Allen and co. should be a lot to handle for the Seahawks defense and the offense will have no choice but to try and keep up. The Bills' defense has been good at times in 2024, but they have had trouble slowing down quality offenses. The Seahawks should be in plenty of scoring positions once again in Week 8, meaning that the K11 in Myers is in play for fantasy.

    From RotoBaller

Braelon Allen Oct 25 7:50pm ET
    Braelon Allen

New York Jets running back Braelon Allen has become a forgotten man in the team's backfield in the two games since the team fired Robert Saleh and made Jeff Ulbrich the interim head coach. Allen has handled just eight touches in his two games since the coaching change as the new regime has focused on getting the ball to Breece Hall. The Jets draw a plus matchup against a New England Patriots defense that is allowing the third-most fantasy points per game to running backs but Allen should not be trusted in starting lineups despite the plus matchup.

    From RotoBaller

Breece Hall Oct 25 7:40pm ET
    Breece Hall

New York Jets running back Breece Hall is in the midst of a fantastic two-game stretch as he's amassed 151 rushing yards, 159 receiving yards, and a touchdown over that span. He will look to stay hot in a road matchup against the New England Patriots in Week 8. The Patriots represent a plus matchup for Hall as they are allowing the third-most fantasy points per game to running backs in 2024. Hall is primed for a huge afternoon against the Patriots and should be treated as a top-three fantasy running back heading into Week 8.

    From RotoBaller

David Njoku Oct 25 7:30pm ET
    David Njoku

Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku turned in a big game in a Week 7 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, catching 10 passes for 76 yards and a touchdown. The veteran tight end will look to keep it going in a Week 8 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens at home. Njoku should continue to operate as the team's top option moving forward, which puts him in play as a top-three option at the tight end position in fantasy this weekend. The Ravens have been generous to opposing tight ends this season, giving Njoku one of his better matchups of the season. Njoku is also as healthy as he's been for a while as he practiced fully all week after dealing with knee and ankle injuries for much of the season. He should be locked into starting lineups as a no-brainer starting option this weekend.

    From RotoBaller

Dustin Hopkins Oct 25 7:30pm ET
    Dustin Hopkins

Cleveland Browns kicker Dustin Hopkins will take on the Baltimore Ravens at home in Week 8. The Ravens have been generous to fantasy kickers this season, allowing the 10th-most fantasy points per game to the position through seven games. That being said, Hopkins has attempted more than two field goals just twice in seven games and has exactly one attempt in four games in 2024. He should not be considered as a starting fantasy option heading into Week 8.
