Chicago Bears tight end Cole Kmet caught all three of his targets for 26 yards in their loss to the Detroit Lions on Thursday afternoon. Kmet's three targets tied him for the lowest total among Chicago pass catchers. This was a sharp decline from the ten targets he saw last weekend. Throughout the season, Kmet has been unable to string together consistent fantasy performances. He has eclipsed double-digit PPR points on three occasions but fell under 5.0 PPR points in four games. Fantasy managers should continue to view Kmet as a risky TE2 in all formats heading into a Week 14 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers.
From RotoBaller
Chicago Bears wide receiver DJ Moore led all Chicago pass catchers with 97 yards during their loss to the Detroit Lions. Moore also brought in a team-high eight receptions and a score off an impressive 15 targets. Moore's touchdown came off a 31-yard pass from Caleb Williams in the fourth quarter. Moore's 15 targets also set a season-high. This was another strong showing for Moore as he tallied 106 yards and a score on seven receptions last weekend. This is a great sign for Moore, as he averaged a mere 6.1 PPR points during Weeks 6 through 10. Despite his inconsistencies this season, fantasy managers should feel confident starting Moore going forward, given the positive trajectory of the Chicago offense. Next week, he will face a tough San Francisco secondary that has allowed the ninth-fewest PPR points to opposing wideouts but should still be viewed as a low-end WR2.
From RotoBaller
Chicago Bears rookie wide receiver Rome Odunze brought in just two of his six targets for 25 yards in their loss to the Detroit Lions on Thursday. Odunze's longest reception of the afternoon went for 19 yards. While his solid target share is encouraging, the Washington product has been unable to post consistent fantasy performances throughout his rookie season. Since Week 8, Odunze has seen at least six targets in each contest but has only eclipsed 50+ yards in two of those games. Given how productive Keenan Allen and DJ Moore have performed over the past two weeks, Oduzne remains the clear No.3 option on this offense despite his incredible potential. For now, fantasy managers should continue to view the former first-round selection as a risky flex option in most formats heading into a Week 14 tilt against the San Francisco 49ers.
From RotoBaller
Washington Commanders running back Brian Robinson Jr. (ankle) was limited for a second consecutive practice on Thursday. The 25-year-old hasn't really been 100 percent healthy since Week 4, restricting his fantasy value week after week. He's the overall RB29 in fantasy football so far, tallying 537 rushing yards, 99 receiving yards, and seven touchdowns. This week, if he plays, Robinson would face a challenging Tennessee Titans run defense. A challenging matchup could drop him to the RB3 tier in fantasy football, but the potential absence of Austin Ekeler (concussion) could also allow Robinson to earn some extra opportunities on the ground and through the air. Fantasy managers should check back Friday to see if Robinson will carry an injury designation into the weekend.
From RotoBaller
Chicago Bears wide receiver Keenan Allen caught five of his eight targets for 73 yards and two scores in their loss to the Detroit Lions on Thursday afternoon. Allen found the back of the end zone twice on Thursday, on a 31-yard strike and a nine-yard strike from Caleb Williams. His eight targets and 73 yards were both second-most among Chicago pass catchers. This was also the second straight game in which the veteran wideout scored a touchdown. Last week, Allen caught nine of his 15 targets for 86 yards. After averaging just 13.5 PPR points through his first eight games as a Bear, Allen has begun to find his footing and should be viewed as a WR3 with upside in PPR formats next weekend, heading into a Week 14 tilt against the San Francisco 49ers.
From RotoBaller
Washington Commanders running back Austin Ekeler (concussion) missed a second consecutive practice on Thursday. Wide receiver Noah Brown (knee) was also sidelined after being added to the injury report. The Commanders enter this week with a few concerning injuries on offense, including Ekeler, Brown, and Brian Robinson Jr. (ankle). Ekeler, who has 355 rushing yards, 346 receiving yards, and four touchdowns this season, could be looking at a multi-week absence after suffering a scary concussion on a kick return during the final seconds of last Sunday's battle with Dallas. Meanwhile, Brown has blossomed into one of Jayden Daniels' favorite targets, catching 32 passes for 426 yards and one touchdown through 10 games. If Brown can't suit up this week, we could see more opportunities for Dyami Brown, Olamide Zacchaeus, and Luke McCaffrey behind Washington's top receiver, Terry McLaurin.
From RotoBaller
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith (hamstring) upgraded to a limited participant in practice on Thursday. He had been absent on Wednesday. Meanwhile, cornerback Darius Slay (concussion) remained absent from practice for the second day in a row. Smith missed last week's game against the Rams but has still been a solid low-end fantasy WR2 this year, catching 41 passes for 516 yards and four touchdowns. Meanwhile, Slay has 32 tackles and one forced fumble in 10 contests but appears at risk of missing Week 13 if he can't clear concussion protocol ahead of Sunday's game against the Baltimore Ravens.
From RotoBaller
Chicago Bears rookie quarterback Caleb Williams went 20-for-39 with 256 yards and three scores in his loss to the Detroit Lions. After throwing for just 34 yards and no scores in the first half, the USC product flipped the script and fell just short of completing a comeback. He tallied his first score on a 31-yard strike to Keenan Allen in the third quarter. He then found Allen again on a nine-yard pass and wide receiver DJ Moore on a 31-yard TD pass in the fourth quarter. Williams also added 39 yards on the ground. Since Week 11, Williams has begun to turn the corner. He has thrown for at least 200+ yards in each game during this span and has tallied at least two passing scores in each of his past two. Fantasy managers should view Williams as a low-end QB1 heading into a Week 14 tilt against the San Francisco 49ers.
From RotoBaller
Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Darnell Mooney (Achilles) upgraded to a full participant in practice on Thursday. He had been limited Wednesday. The 27-year-old has not yet missed a game this season, and it now appears he's on track to play in Week 13. He's having the best season of his career so far, totaling 48 catches, 711 yards, and five touchdowns en route to ranking as the overall WR12 in fantasy football. Even though he's second on the depth chart behind Drake London (hip), Mooney should be viewed as a solid top-24 fantasy receiver heading into Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Chargers.
From RotoBaller
Chicago Bears running back D'Andre Swift tallied 39 yards on 11 attempts and added 35 yards on two receptions in their loss to the Detroit Lions. Swift's longest run of the day went for 12 yards, and the longest reception went for 29. The Bears were trailing for most of the afternoon, which shifted much of the offensive play-calling to favor the passing game. This was also the second-straight game Swift did not find the back of the end zone. Before this two-game slump, Swift averaged 18.3 PPR points per game during Weeks 4 through 11. Fantasy managers should still view Swift as a solid RB2 heading into a Week 14 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers.
From RotoBaller
Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Drake London (hip) and Younghoe Koo (hip) were added to the injury report on Thursday. Both players were limited participants in practice. Fantasy managers should pay close attention to their respective statuses on Friday as we gather more information and context on whether London and Koo will play Sunday versus the Los Angeles Chargers. London has been the overall WR7 so far, catching 61 passes for 710 yards and six touchdowns. Meanwhile, Koo ranks 14th in fantasy points among kickers, going 19-for-26 on field goals and 23-for-23 on extra points.
From RotoBaller
New England Patriots wide receiver DeMario Douglas (ankle) and safety Kyle Dugger (ankle) were both limited for a second consecutive practice on Thursday. Douglas has appeared in all 12 games so far this season, catching 48 passes for 477 yards and one touchdown en route to ranking as the overall WR46 in fantasy football. He has seen an uptick in volume with Drake Maye under center and should be treated as a fringe top-36 option heading into Week 13 against the Indianapolis Colts. Meanwhile, Dugger has made frequent appearances on the injury report all season long, ultimately playing in eight games while registering 42 tackles, one sack, and one forced fumble.
From RotoBaller
The Miami Dolphins have activated quarterback Tyler Huntley (shoulder) from injured reserve. Huntley made three starts for Miami earlier this season and, coincidentally, was placed on IR at the same time Tua Tagovailoa was activated following his concussion. Huntley and Skylar Thompson will both remain in depth roles as long as Tagovailoa is healthy.
From RotoBaller
Los Angeles Chargers tight end Will Dissly (groin) upgraded to a limited participant in practice on Thursday. He had been a non-participant Wednesday. Dissly has played quite well lately, catching 13 passes for 157 yards and one touchdown over his last three games. Fantasy managers invested in Dissly's status should check back on Friday to see if he ends up with any sort of injury designation. At the very least, he's trending in the right direction and ranks as a mid-to-high fantasy TE2 for the time being.
From RotoBaller
Detroit Lions defensive lineman Mekhi Wingo (knee) and linebacker Malcolm Rodriguez (knee) are both questionable to return during Thursday's game against the Chicago Bears. This is crushing news for the Lions, who entered Week 13 shorthanded on defense and also lost defensive contributors Levi Onwuzurike (hamstring) and Josh Paschal (knee) during the first half. At the time of their respective departures, Wingo had two tackles while Rodriguez had five tackles and one pass defended.
From RotoBaller
New York Giants defensive back Deonte Banks (ribs) will not suit up to face the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday evening, according to Dan Salomone of Giants.com. Banks remained a limited participant during practice all week but will now miss his first game of the 2024 season. Through 11 games, the 23-year-old tallied 43 tackles (33 solo), a forced fumble and seven pass deflections. As a result, Fantasy managers in IDP formats should expect Cor'Dale Flott, Dru Philips, and Adoree' Jackson to see most of the snaps on Thursday afternoon.
From RotoBaller
Arizona Cardinals running back Emari Demercado (back) and defensive lineman Darius Robinson (calf) were both limited participants in a second consecutive practice on Thursday. Demercado has primarily been off the fantasy radar as Arizona's No. 3 running back this year, but he has shown bursts of production, totaling 211 rushing yards, 86 receiving yards, and one touchdown so far. DeeJay Dallas would presumably take Demercado's spot on the depth chart if he can't play. Robinson, on the other hand, is a rookie who has spent the first 12 weeks on either injured reserve or the gameday inactives list. He's inching closer to making his NFL debut and, according to head coach Jonathan Gannon, has a strong chance to suit up Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings.
From RotoBaller
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Charlie Jones (groin) and left tackle Orlando Brown Jr. (fibula) both remained limited in practice on Thursday. Jones has missed three consecutive weeks and has just one catch for five yards during eight games this season. Brown has also missed three games in a row. He has a decent chance to play in Week 13, but if he's inactive, Cody Ford would likely step up as the Bengals' starting left tackle.
From RotoBaller
New Orleans Saints running back Jamaal Williams (groin) and tight end Foster Moreau (shoulder) were both limited participants for a second consecutive practice on Thursday. Williams has missed three games in a row, but it appears he has a chance to return in Week 13 against the Los Angeles Rams. If so, he would back up Alvin Kamara but remain off the fantasy radar in most leagues. Kamara will handle the bulk of New Orleans' carries, and Taysom Hill could also get involved out of the backfield. Meanwhile, Moreau hasn't missed a game this season, but he's had a quieter role on offense, catching just 15 passes for 217 yards and three touchdowns through 11 games. He can be left on waivers in most fantasy leagues, especially as long as Juwan Johnson is healthy.
From RotoBaller
Dallas Cowboys defensive end Marshawn Kneeland (knee) will not suit up on Thursday afternoon to face the New York Giants according to Todd Archer of ESPN. The 23-year-old returned to action in Week 12 after missing the previous five games. However, he was unable to participate in any practice sessions this week and will now set his sights on returning next weekend to face the Cincinnati Bengals. During the first five games of the season, Kneeland tallied ten tackles (seven solo) with three assists. Fantasy managers should expect Chauncey Golston and Carl Lawson to see most of the snaps on the edge on Thursday. They will face Drew Lock, who is making his first start of the season.
