First-round rookie defensive lineman Derrick Harmon has signed a four-year, fully guaranteed, $17.97 million deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Pittsburgh has now officially locked up all seven of its rookie picks from April's draft. The 21-year-old was a disruptive force up the middle in college, but could spend time off the edge with the Steelers. In fact, he's currently listed as one of the team's starting defensive ends across from veteran Cameron Heyward. Harmon undoubtedly has the pass-rushing chops to do damage from there. However, he figures to spend more time in the interior with linebackers T.J. Watt and Alex Highsmith typically occupying the outside. It's not a bad problem for Pittsburgh to have with Keeanu Benton slotted in at nose tackle.

Jim Wyatt of TennesseeTitans.com reports that the Tennessee Titans have signed quarterback Cam Ward to his rookie deal. The first overall pick of April's draft inked a four-year, $48.75 million contract with a $32.1 million signing bonus. Though the Miami alum has been splitting reps evenly with teammate Will Levis thus far in the offseason, there is little reason to believe he won't be able to overtake him come the start of the year. It isn't guaranteed, but unless Levis has significantly improved since his playing time last season, the draft capital and talent will likely prevail. Fantasy managers shouldn't expect Ward to impact fantasy lineups immediately, but if he opts to scramble often early on, it would be a big boost to his floor.

Chicago Bears wide receiver Luther Burden III (undisclosed) is not practicing on Wednesday as he deals with a soft-tissue injury, according to head coach Ben Johnson. Johnson said, "It remains to be seen" when the rookie from Missouri will return to action. Burden was selected in the second round of last month's draft after compiling 192 receptions for 2,263 yards and 21 touchdowns in 38 career games. He added 34 carries for 234 yards and four scores as a runner. While Burden is an exciting player with the ball in his hands, it's tough to get too optimistic about his fantasy outlook in 2025. Caleb Williams is unproven at quarterback, and the Chicago pass-catching group is crowded with DJ Moore, Rome Odunze, Cole Kmet, Colston Loveland, and D'Andre Swift. He's a solid dynasty rookie draft pick at cost, but it would be a surprise if he's a consistent producer for redraft leagues in Year 1.

Washington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin was not at Wednesday's practice, according to NFL insider Jordan Schultz. The 29-year-old has been a full participant in offseason workouts before this absence, but this is a situation to monitor as he heads into the final year of his contract. McLaurin's contract ranks 16th among wideouts in average salary ($23.2 million), and he could be looking for long-term security with a pay bump toward the top of the position after an 82-catch, 1,096-yard, 13-touchdown season in 2024. The former third-round pick has tallied five consecutive 1,000-yard campaigns and is finally playing with a high-level quarterback in rising sophomore Jayden Daniels. Fantasy managers should expect any issues to be resolved ahead of this season, and McLaurin has WR1 upside in Washington's explosive offense.

Speaking on the potential for a new contract, New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson said, "I'm hopeful to be a Jet for life," according to team reporter Rich Cimini. The 2022 first-round pick out of Ohio State is eligible for a contract extension following his third NFL campaign. With lackluster quarterback play between Zach Wilson, Mike White, Joe Flacco, Aaron Rodgers, Trevor Siemian, and Tim Boyle, Wilson has racked up 279 receptions (469 targets) for 3,249 yards and 14 touchdowns in 51 career games. He ranks 10th among all players in receiving yards since entering the league, so the organization would surely like to keep him long term. Entering 2025, Wilson will catch passes from Justin Fields, who was his college quarterback in 2019 and 2020. While Fields has been a questionable passer throughout his NFL career, Wilson should be the dominant target-hog in the New York offense. He remains a WR2 with WR1 upside for fantasy football.

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Tanner McKee is likely to be the direct backup to Jalen Hurts in 2025 despite the team drafting Kyle McCord (Syracuse) in the sixth round of last month's NFL Draft. The team's decision to trade Kenny Pickett to the Cleveland Browns signals confidence in McKee, who was a sixth-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft out of Stanford. McKee appeared in two games (one start) last year, completing 30 of his 45 passing attempts for 323 yards, four touchdowns, and zero interceptions. While he's not on the fantasy football radar as a backup, it's worth noting that Hurts missed Weeks 16 and 17 in 2022 due to injury before sitting out Week 17 again in 2024. We've seen his backups, such as Gardner Minshew and Pickett, deliver fantasy-relevant performances in his absence, so McKee could be one of the top backup QBs to monitor in deeper superflex or two-QB formats.

Philadelphia Eagles running back Will Shipley is expected to fill the RB2 and two-minute offense role vacated by Kenneth Gainwell, according to team reporter Jimmy Kempski. "My understanding is that the Eagles were very encouraged by what they saw from Will Shipley during practice throughout the season and in games," he wrote. The team signed former Green Bay Packers running back AJ Dillon this offseason, but he's unlikely to have much of a role unless Saquon Barkley gets banged up. Shipley, a 2024 fourth-round pick out of Clemson, rushed 30 times for 82 yards and caught four passes for 35 yards in 16 games last season. The 22-year-old can be stashed in deeper setups, but it would be a surprise if he's playable in lineups given Barkley's workhorse role. That said, he would have plenty of upside if Barkley has to miss any time in 2025, and the former Giant has missed at least three games due to injury in four of his seven NFL seasons.

New York Jets quarterback Justin Fields was "late on throws" during Wednesday's practice session, according to team reporter Nick Faria. While early offseason practice reports should be taken with a grain of salt, this is not a promising sign, as Fields has struggled with accuracy and processing during his young NFL career. In 50 career games, Fields has completed just over 61% of his passing attempts for 7,780 yards, 45 touchdowns, and 31 interceptions. His inability to develop into a high-level passer ultimately caused the Chicago Bears to move on from him, and he was benched for Russell Wilson early last season with the Steelers. That said, Fields is one of just three quarterbacks (Lamar Jackson, Michael Vick) in NFL history to rack up 1,000 rushing yards in a single season, so he could be a value at his QB2 cost in fantasy drafts. As long as Fields remains the starter in New York, his rushing floor and ceiling will keep him on the fantasy radar and in contention for a QB1 finish. At the same time, New York's pass-catching group is weak behind Garrett Wilson, and Fields could limit the overall ceiling of the passing attack.

The Miami Dolphins have reached out to free-agent cornerback Asante Samuel Jr. (neck), according to Barry Jackson of The Miami Herald. Although the Dolphins have not made him an offer or even hosted him for a visit, Jackson reports the team continues to keep tabs on the cornerback, and a deal could come to fruition in July. Any sort of negotiations are unlikely to commence until the Dolphins reach a resolution with Jalen Ramsey, whom they want to trade. If Ramsey is dealt, then the Dolphins would have an open roster spot plus additional salary cap space to use on Samuel. Of course, signing Samuel would be contingent on him passing a physical, as he's recovering from offseason neck surgery. He appeared in just four games for the Chargers last season, breaking up two passes and making 13 tackles.

New England Patriots rookie wide receiver Kyle Williams was impressive during OTAs, according to Alex Barth of 98.5 The Sports Hub. "Williams made his presence felt during practice, and seemed especially involved running routes outside the numbers," Barth wrote. "His highlight play came on a deep out when he created significant separation and caught a pass from Maye." We can't put a whole lot of stock into just one offseason observation when there's still more than three months until the regular season, but the Patriots should feel optimistic nonetheless. They've been devoid of wide receiver talent for several years, and Williams could fill a major hole for the team (alongside fellow newcomer Stefon Diggs). New England selected Williams with the fifth pick in the third round of the 2025 NFL Draft, investing significant capital in a player they hope can become a starter during his rookie campaign.

Tennessee Titans head coach Brian Callahan said that running back Tony Pollard carried the ball a lot last year. In a perfect world, Callahan said the team needs a more even split in the backfield with Pollard, Tyjae Spears and possibly a third back. This sounds like a nightmare for fantasy managers targeting the Tennessee backfield, especially with rookie quarterback Cam Ward set to lead the offense in 2025. If Tennessee doesn't add a back off the street, the third RB that could be involved alongside Pollard and Spears could be rookie Kalel Mullings, a converted linebacker who ran for 1,170 yards and 13 touchdowns on 221 carries in 2024. The Titans' offense relied heavily on the 28-year-old Pollard last year in his first year with the team, but fantasy managers should not be expecting that same type of volume this season.

New England Patriots cornerback Christian Gonzalez (concussion) took part in the first practice of organized team activities on Tuesday and looked excellent after suffering a head injury in the Week 18 regular-season finale last year. Gonzalez is already looking like the shutdown corner he was in 2024, according to The Athletic's Chad Graff, intercepting quarterback Drake Maye twice on Tuesday. The former first-round selection (17th overall) in 2023 out of Oregon is a player that New England plans to build around on the defensive side of the ball, and he's expected to take on a bigger leadership role in his third year in the league. The 22-year-old finished last year with 59 tackles (50 solo), 11 pass breakups, two interceptions and a fumble recovery in 16 games played.

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Colton Dowell (knee) has been taking part in organized team activities this week after missing the entire 2024 campaign following a torn ACL and meniscus in Week 17 of 2023. Dowell was the team's seventh-round selection (228th overall) in the 2023 NFL draft out of UT Martin. He appeared in only 10 games (one start) in his rookie season and hauled in one of his two targets for three yards. Most of his playing time that year came on special teams. Dowell is once again healthy, though, so he'll be gunning for a bigger role on offense heading into the 2025 campaign this fall. He'll be facing an uphill battle to even make the 53-man active roster out of training camp, though, as he's currently buried on the receiver depth chart behind Calvin Ridley, Tyler Lockett, Van Jefferson, Treylon Burks, rookies Elic Ayomanor and Chimere Dike, and James Proche II.

The Athletic's Chad Graff reports that New England Patriots second-year quarterback Drake Maye struggled in his first practice at organized team activities on Tuesday. Nobody should be putting too much stock into it, but Maye tossed four interceptions on his 16 pass attempts with the defense dominating early on. Three of the throws were outright misses, and one of them came on a batted pass on a throw behind his intended receiver. It's not all that surprising, though, with defenses usually ahead at this time of year and with Maye learning a new offensive scheme from Josh McDaniels. The 22-year-old former third overall pick eventually took over starting duties last year from Jacoby Brissett and predictably struggled for a Pats team lacking many offensive weapons. Drake showed signs of greatness, though, and he should be able to take a step forward in McDaniels' scheme with improved offensive weapons.

Tennessee Titans head coach Brian Callahan isn't rushing to make any announcements on the team's starting quarterback despite the team taking Cam Ward with the first overall pick in this year's NFL draft. So far as the Titans work through Phase 2 of their offseason activities, Ward and Will Levis have split reps evenly. "It will change probably a little bit when we get to the next phase of OTAs and there's some 7-on-7," Callahan said Tuesday. Callahan also praised both signal-callers with how they've handled the situation so far. Levis worked with personal QB coach Jordan Palmer in California in the offseason, while Ward has been gradually getting to know his new teammates while learning the playbook. Callahan said it's premature to name Ward the starter since there is a lot of work to be done in the next three months, but it will be a surprise if the Miami product isn't starting in Week 1 on the road against Denver.

Tennessee Titans running back Tyjae Spears (concussion) has been taking part in the team's organized team activities this week after sitting out the Week 18 regular-season finale against the Houston Texans at the end of last season. The 23-year-old has obviously recovered from his head injury and will be ready for the start of the 2025 campaign this fall. Tony Pollard was a workhorse back for the team in 2024 in his first year in Tennessee, but head coach Brian Callahan has already been hinting that it might be in the team's best interest to take some of the load off of Pollard in order to keep him healthy. Spears, who is more of a pass-catching back, was only active for 12 games last year and had 84 carries for 312 yards and four TDs on the ground, adding 30 catches for 224 yards and another score. He's elusive with the ball in his hands, so if he can stay healthy, Spears could be a nice sleeper pick late in fantasy drafts.

Tennessee Titans running back Tony Pollard (ankle) said his rehab and recovery efforts from a late-season sprained ankle have gone "great," and it has allowed him to prepare better this offseason compared to last. The former Dallas Cowboy enjoyed a relatively productive season in his first year with Tennessee, considering the poor offensive environment he played in. Overall, Pollard rushed 260 times for 1,079 yards and five touchdowns. He added 41 receptions for 238 yards through the air. While he should be penciled in as the team's RB1 again in 2025, he could split more time with Tyjae Spears if the former Tulane back can stay healthy. Additionally, sixth-round rookie running back Kalel Mullings, a 230-pound bruiser, could mix in near the goal line. Pollard continues to have RB2 upside and starting appeal in favorable matchups, but he might not operate as a workhorse next season.

Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons attended the first day of voluntary OTAs on Monday despite the All-Pro seeking a new contract with the organization. Parsons is entering the final year of his rookie deal after collecting 256 tackles (172 solo), 52.5 sacks, nine forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries, 41 run stuffs, and nine pass deflections in 63 career games. Needless to say, the four-time Pro Bowler is due for a nice payday, as he ranks outside the top 50 edge rushers in average salary ($4.27 million). His presence at the voluntary portion of the offseason is promising for the two sides potentially reaching a deal, and head coach Brian Schottenheimer said, "It means a lot to me" for Parsons to show up.

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott (hamstring) will take most of the team's first-team reps at OTAs after healing up from a torn hamstring, according to head coach Brian Schottenheimer. Prescott missed the final nine games of the 2024 season due to the lower-body ailment but looks to be firmly on track to be 100% healthy to start the 2025 season. The former fourth-round pick out of Mississippi State is entering his 10th NFL campaign with Dallas and has thrown for 31,437 yards, 213 touchdowns, and 82 interceptions in 122 career contests. While Prescott is not the same runner as he was early in his career, he's still mobile and has a solid group of weapons to work with in CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens, and Jake Ferguson. At his QB13 ADP, he is a tremendous second QB in superflex formats, and he could be a viable single-QB fantasy option in the right matchups.
