Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans made his return to the field on Sunday after missing each of the last three games. Evans posted a nice outing as he hauled in five of his six targets for 68 yards in the win over the New York Giants. The veteran wideout wasn't able to find the end zone, but it was a decent performance from Evans for his first game back in the mix. The 68 yards was a team-high and the five catches were his most since Week 5. Fantasy managers should expect Evans to continue succeeding against the Carolina Panthers in Week 13.
From RotoBaller
Detroit Lions running back David Montgomery (shoulder) exited Sunday's win over the Indianapolis Colts. While he had only 37 yards off eight carries, he at least found the end zone. Understandably, fantasy managers are concerned. However, the veteran reported after the game that he will be good to go for Thursday's matchup with the Chicago Bears, adding it was a "smart decision" to rest him after the injury, which suggests he could have returned if needed. With that in mind, players have said things like this before, so fantasy managers should continue to monitor things heading toward the Week 13 NFC North showdown. If Montgomery can't suit up, that will mean even more work for Jahmyr Gibbs.
From RotoBaller
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson hauled in 2-of-5 targets for 27 yards in Sunday's 30-27 victory over their division-rival Chicago Bears. Ouch. There's no way of getting around it -- the 25-year-old was a massive disappointment Sunday afternoon, particularly on a day when fellow wideout Jordan Addison and tight end T.J. Hockenson combined for 15 receptions and 276 yards on 18 targets. Jefferson's yardage output, target, and reception total were all season lows, and he put up a stinker for the first time in 2024. It's better than a goose egg -- but not by much. He'll look to bounce back in Week 13 when the Vikings host the visiting Arizona Cardinals.
From RotoBaller
Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Cade Otton put together a handful of strong performances heading into the Week 12 matchup against the New York Giants. Sadly, fantasy managers who started Otton this week received a dud from him. Otton hauled in one of his three targets for 10 yards in the win over the New York Giants. The assumption is that the return of wide receiver Mike Evans would take away some of the targets from Otton. However, the expectation was that Otton would still be able to do more than a 10-yard performance. Fantasy managers can be hopeful for a bounce back performance from Otton during next week's game against the Carolina Panthers.
From RotoBaller
Minnesota Vikings running back Aaron Jones rushed 22 times for 106 yards and a touchdown in his team's 30-27 overtime win over the Chicago Bears. He added 23 yards on 3-of-4 receiving and coughed up a fumble. The 29-year-old matched his highest carry count of 2024 and set a new season-high with his rushing total. It was an excellent bounce-back effort from Jones, who was coming off his lowest fantasy output of the season. He's scored just four touchdowns this season, but the touches and yardage total have been there -- so he may be due for some positive regression in the TD department over the coming few weeks. The former Green Bay Packer will get another decent matchup next Sunday when Minnesota squares off against the Arizona Cardinals at home.
From RotoBaller
Washington Commanders running back Brian Robinson Jr. (ankle) sustained an ankle injury during their loss to the Dallas Cowboys and only logged five carries for 13 yards. He caught one of his two targets for 11 yards as well. Robinson sustained his first ankle injury in the opening quarter but was able to return shortly after. However, later in the second half, Robinson suffered another injury to his ankle and was unable to return. Fantasy managers should closely monitor his status throughout the week, as he could be in danger of missing next weekend's game. In addition, No.2 running back Austin Ekeler (concussion) sustained an injury in the final minutes. If both running backs were to sit out in Week 13, Jeremy McNichols should be expected to operate as the lead back.
From RotoBaller
Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Bucky Irving turned in another stellar performance during Sunday's game against the New York Giants. Irving rushed 12 times for 87 yards and scored a touchdown during the blowout victory. The rookie back also hauled in all six of his targets for 64 yards through the air. The rushing and receiving yardage were both season highs for Irving. Unfortunately for fantasy managers, Irving remains stuck in a running back committee with Rachaad White. Irving has been the much better option between the two and should continue gaining more trust from the organization. Fantasy managers should put Irving in the RB2 conversation for next week's matchup against the Carolina Panthers. The 22-year-old has been excellent lately and should succeed in that favorable matchup.
From RotoBaller
New England Patriots wide receiver DeMario Douglas converted seven targets into five catches for 62 yards during Sunday's Week 12 loss to the Miami Dolphins. Douglas has continued to be one of the Patriots' most productive receivers in his second NFL season, bringing his season totals to 48 catches, 482 yards, and one touchdown so far this year. He'll remain a very intriguing, volume-based WR3/FLEX option heading into next week's game against the Indianapolis Colts.
From RotoBaller
Seattle Seahawks offensive guard Anthony Bradford (leg) isn't expected to return to the Week 12 matchup versus the Arizona Cardinals. He was eventually carted to the locker room, so it's likely his day is over. Hopefully, the injury isn't anything too serious, which would be a tough blow for a Seahawks offensive line that has had issues protecting Geno Smith this season.
From RotoBaller
New England Patriots tight end Hunter Henry caught five of his eight targets for 44 yards during Sunday's Week 12 loss to the Miami Dolphins. The 29-year-old has been a viable TE1 in fantasy football ever since Drake Maye took over as the team's starting quarterback. Over his last seven games, Henry has totaled 35 catches, 355 yards, and one touchdown, ranking as the overall TE8 (PPR) during that span. The veteran tight end has established himself as a reliable target for Maye and should continue to be treated as a mid-to-low TE1 in most fantasy football leagues, including next week against the Indianapolis Colts.
From RotoBaller
New England Patriots tight end Austin Hooper caught each of his four targets for 59 yards and one touchdown during Sunday's Week 12 loss to the Miami Dolphins. Hooper's biggest play was a 38-yard touchdown reception that would end up being New England's only offensive touchdown of the game. The 30-year-old continues to look like one of the best No. 2 tight ends in the NFL; he remains behind Hunter Henry in the pecking order but has carved out a role for himself, catching at least three passes for the third consecutive week. He'll rank just outside the top 24 fantasy tight ends heading into Week 13 against Indianapolis.
From RotoBaller
A promising start ended with an ugly defeat for Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud, who finished 20-for-33 for 247 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions in a 32-27 loss to Tennessee. He also added 18 rushing yards, which accounted for nearly half of Houston's 40 rushing yards as a team. The second-year quarterback threw first-half touchdowns to tight end Cade Stover and receiver Nico Collins, but went on to throw two picks, and his attempt at a game-tying drive ended with a safety. Houston continues to be mercurial as an offense, but still holds the lead in the AFC South. Luckily, Stroud has a plus matchup with Jacksonville in Week 13.
From RotoBaller
Washington Commanders tight end Zach Ertz found the end zone for the second straight week in their loss to the Dallas Cowboys. In this game, Ertz saw eight targets (second-most on the team) and brought in six of them for 38 yards and a score. He found the end zone in the final frame off a four-yard strike from Jayden Daniels. Over his past three games, Ertz has caught at least four passes and seen seven targets in each game. During this span, Ertz also tallied at least 30 yards in each contest. Given his steady production and consistent volume, fantasy managers should continue to view the 34-year-old as a solid low-end TE1 in PPR leagues heading into a Week 13 matchup against the Tennessee Titans.
From RotoBaller
Washington Commanders kicker Austin Seibert struggled in his return on Sunday afternoon in their loss to the Dallas Cowboys. Seibert went 2-for-3 on field goal attempts and 0-for-2 on extra points. He connected on his field goals from 46 and 51 yards and missed one from 51 yards as well. He also missed the game-tying extra point in the final minutes. Seibert has yet to miss an extra point this season before this game, so fantasy managers should not be overly concerned. In addition, Seibert has yet to miss a field goal attempt from within 49 yards. Despite the rough showing this weekend, fantasy managers should still view Seibert as a solid K1 in all formats heading into a Week 13 tilt against the Tennessee Titans.
From RotoBaller
Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Rachaad White was able to find the end zone for the fifth straight game on Sunday. It was a rough day for White on the ground as he managed only 37 yards on 12 carries in the win over the New York Giants. Luckily, White was able to take one of those carries into the end zone, which helped salvage his fantasy value. As expected, White lost targets in the receiving game with wide receiver Mike Evans making his return. White hauled in his lone target for 10 yards on Sunday. Fantasy managers should consider White a low-end RB2 for next week's matchup against the Carolina Panthers.
From RotoBaller
New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye completed 22 of 37 passes for 222 yards, one touchdown, and one interception during Sunday's loss to the Miami Dolphins. Maye also rushed for 26 yards, took four sacks, and lost a fumble. Turnovers have been a major issue for the young quarterback in his first season. Through six full games, he has 11 turnovers (seven interceptions and four lost fumbles) and 11 total touchdowns. If he can do a better job protecting the football, he'll boost his fantasy value and create more scoring opportunities for the Patriots. For now, though, he ranks as a QB2 in fantasy football. He does have significant upside heading into Week 13 against the Indianapolis Colts.
From RotoBaller
Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels enjoyed a big second half but could not complete the comeback against the Dallas Cowboys as he went 25-for-38 with 275 yards, two passing scores, 74 rushing yards, and an additional rushing score. After a slow first half where the Washington offense scored only three points, Daniels flipped the switch and put 23 on the board in the final 30 minutes. Daniels tallied a rushing score in the third quarter and tacked on two passing scores in the final frame. One was a four-yard strike to Zach Ertz, and the other was an 86-yard catch-and-run to Terry McLaurin. This was a nice bounce-back showing for Daniels, as he has scored just one total touchdown in his previous two games. Despite the slow start, fantasy managers should continue to view Daniels as a QB1 heading into Week 13 when he faces the Tennessee Titans.
From RotoBaller
Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield came out of the bye week ready to play in Week 12. Mayfield looked sharp once again as he completed 24-of-30 passing attempts for 294 yards in the win over the New York Giants. Mayfield didn't throw a touchdown or an interception, but he did rush four times for 29 yards and a score. The return of wide receiver Mike Evans was a welcoming sight as the duo connected five times during this game. It's worth noting that Mayfield did briefly exit the game due to a neck stinger, but returned to finish out the game. It wasn't a great fantasy day for Mayfield as the two fumbles didn't help his cause. Fantasy managers should expect a QB1 performance from Mayfield during next week's matchup against the Carolina Panthers.
From RotoBaller
Washington Commanders running back Austin Ekeler (undisclosed) left Sunday's game with an undisclosed injury. Ekeler sustained this injury on a kickoff return in the final minutes. After taking the hit, the running back remained on the field for some time but was able to walk off with assistance from the training staff. Before the injury, Ekeler carried the ball nine times for 22 yards and caught two of his three targets for three yards. With Brian Robinson Jr. (ankle) leaving the game twice, Ekeler saw most of the snaps for a majority of the afternoon. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status heading into a Week 13 tilt against the Tennessee Titans. If he happens to miss time, Jeremy McNichols could see a significant increase in snaps.
From RotoBaller
New England Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson rushed for 13 yards on eight carries during Sunday's Week 12 loss to the Miami Dolphins. He also failed to catch either of his two targets. If it's any consolation, he did deliver a two-point conversion in the defeat. Still, the Patriots' lead running back had one of his worst games of the season, demonstrating reduced volume, limited production, and poor efficiency while failing to score a touchdown for the third week in a row. It was a disappointing and somewhat surprising finish from Stevenson given that he had 93 scrimmage yards and one touchdown the last time he faced the Dolphins. Moving forward, he's merely an RB3/FLEX option in fantasy football, including next week against the Indianapolis Colts.
