Los Angeles Rams running back Ronnie Rivers took over as the team's top option in the backfield after Blake Corum (forearm) left with an injury on Sunday against the Seahawks. He led the team with 48 rushing yards on 12 carries and added four catches on five targets for 34 receiving yards. The third-year running back from Fresno State could be the primary backup to RB Kyren Williams in the playoffs since Corum was diagnosed with a fractured forearm and will miss the playoffs. Williams is definitely a high-usage back, leaving Rivers almost no fantasy floor, but he could have an increased role after Corum's injury in Week 18.

Washington Commanders TE Zach Ertz ended up with five receptions for 44 yards and a touchdown on five targets in Week 18 against the Dallas Cowboys.

Fantasy Spin: Ertz regained his status as a TE1 in most fantasy leagues this season, and he finished the season strong. Ertz had 11 receptions for 116 yards and three touchdowns in the final two games, and he has six scores in the final seven outings. Ertz is a top-notch fantasy option in postseason leagues and DFS play. The Commanders travel to meet the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the wild-card round.

New England Patriots quarterback Joe Milton III completed 22 of his 29 pass attempts for 241 yards and one touchdown during Sunday's Week 18 win over the Buffalo Bills. He also rushed 10 times for 16 yards and an additional touchdown on the ground. Milton didn't take a sack or throw an interception in the victory, but he did lose a fumble on a botched hand-off with Antonio Gibson. The Patriots needed a loss to secure the No. 1 pick in the NFL Draft, and in order to get some extra film on Milton, they benched Drake Maye after the opening drive. Milton performed better than anyone could have imagined, completing each of his first 11 pass attempts. He totaled two touchdowns and showed phenomenal mobility. The win dropped New England from No. 1 to No. 4 in the draft order, but that's arguably a fair price to pay in exchange for the assurance that New England has two talented, young playmakers in its quarterback room entering 2025. Maye will remain the starter while Milton is likely headed for the backup role.

Los Angeles Rams quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo made his Rams debut on Sunday against the Seahawks. Despite playing mostly with second-string skill players, he racked up 334 passing yards to go with two touchdowns and one interception along with five rushing yards. Without much of a ground game, Jimmy G attempted 41 passes and finished with 27 completions (65.8% completion percentage). Next week, he's expected to return to his role as backup QB to Matthew Stafford as the Rams host a game in the wild-card round against either the Lions or Vikings. Whenever the Rams season concludes, the veteran will be a free agent, but his strong showing in Week 18 should help him find work as a backup, either with the Rams or another team next season.

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. caught six of 10 targets for 72 yards and no touchdowns in Sunday's 26-23 overtime win against the Jaguars. The 27-year-old recorded five or more receptions in six of his last seven games of the season, but it was a year mostly filled with inconsistency at the quarterback position. The reception (69), yardage (808), and touchdown totals (3) were all the lowest outputs since his rookie season in 2020. After setting career highs in receptions and yardage in 2023, this season surely did not meet expectations, especially for fantasy managers who drafted him. With Anthony Richardson under center in 2025, Pittman's outlook doesn't look much better unless the QB can fix his accuracy issues after posting a miserable 47.7% completion rate in 2024. If the Colts get him on track, then Pittman could end up being a value in next year's fantasy drafts assuming his price will be fairly depressed.

Without question, Corum wasn't as advertised during his first season in the league, amassing 207 yards off 58 attempts, adding seven catches for 68 yards. Even worse, he didn't find the end zone. Unless something changes, Corum's fantasy value will be much lower entering the 2025-26 campaign. But he'll likely see attention from Williams' fantasy managers for insurances purposes.

Singletary, who signed a three-year deal with the G-Men in March 2024, had a good start to the season, finding the end zone twice in New York's first three games. However, he eventually lost the starting job to rookie Tyrone Tracy Jr. and has remained the backup ever since. With Tracy likely to remain the No. 1 option on the depth chart entering the 2025-26 campaign, Singletary will presumably continue to operate behind him. As a result, his fantasy value doesn't look promising heading into next season, although he'll likely draw interest for those looking for an insurance policy.

Buffalo Bills running back James Cook rushed 10 times for 28 yards and a touchdown in the team's 23-16 loss against the New England Patriots. The yardage was enough to push Cook over the 1,000-yard mark. His one-yard touchdown plunge tied the franchise's single-season record for rushing touchdowns (16) and placed him in a tie atop the NFL with Derrick Henry. Surprisingly, that score came in the third quarter in a game where starters played sparingly. Rookie Ray Davis led the team in carries (15). Cook and the Bills will host the Denver Broncos in the first round of the playoffs.

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Joe Flacco wasted no time in getting the team on the board on Sunday, completing his first three passes of the game with the third being a 40-yard touchdown pass to Alec Pierce. The 39-year-old would go on to complete 23-of-40 passes for 264 yards, with just the one touchdown pass and no interceptions in the 26-23 overtime win over the Jaguars. Jonathan Taylor again did most of the heavy lifting, logging a whopping 34 carries for 177 yards and a TD. The veteran certainly made the Colt receivers relevant for the last few games, including Josh Downs -- who had been somewhat quiet the last four weeks -- busting out for 10 receptions and 94 yards on Sunday. Flacco has said he wants to play in 2025, and despite some turnover issues he can still sling it, so he'll likely be somewhat fantasy-relevant at some point next season once he's thrust into action.

Chicago Bears wide receiver DJ Moore caught nine passes for 86 yards and one touchdown during Sunday's Week 18 win over the Green Bay Packers. His score came on a big 32-yard pass from quarterback Caleb Williams. The 27-year-old finished his second season in Chicago with 98 catches, 966 yards, and six touchdowns, ranking as a high-end WR2 in fantasy football. Dynasty | Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase had ten catches for 96 yards and a touchdown in the final regular season game. Dynasty Analysis: Just another day at the office for Chase, who ends the season with a whopping 127 catches for 1,708 yards and 17 touchdowns. The Bengals won't make the playoffs, so that's going to be it for Chase this year and what a year it was. Cincinnati is going to be forced to make him the league's highest paid wide receiver this off-season and Chase is likely going to enter (and leave) the off-season as the overall top player in all of dynasty leagues.
