New Orleans Saints running back Kendre Miller (hamstring) has been activated off the injured reserve ahead of the Week 14 matchup against the New York Giants. Miller is currently listed as questionable, but is expected to make his return to the field after a four-game absence. It's unclear how much Miller is going to be involved with Alvin Kamara getting a bulk of the carries in the backfield right now. Possibly, Miller gets more attention with Taysom Hill (knee) done for the season. However, fantasy managers shouldn't count on Miller as a viable streaming option for Week 14.
From RotoBaller
New York Jets wide receiver Allen Lazard (chest) has been officially activated from the injured reserve on Saturday. Lazard is set to return to the field for the first time since Week 7. It remains to be seen what kind of a role he's going to play as the No. 3 option behind Garrett Wilson and Davante Adams. This season, Lazard has 30 receptions for 412 yards, and five touchdowns in seven games. He should be considered a desperation flex option for the Week 14 matchup against the Miami Dolphins.
From RotoBaller
Minnesota Vikings kicker Will Reichard (quad) has been activated from the injured reserve on Saturday. The rookie kicker appears ready to go after missing the last four games due to a strained quad. Before going down, Reichard knocked down 14-of-16 field goal attempts while making all 23 extra-point tries in eight games. The Vikings have waived fellow kicker John Parker Romo, so Reichard will reclaim the starting kicker role ahead of the Week 14 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons. Fantasy managers in need of help at the kicker spot this weekend should take a look at Reichard.
From RotoBaller
The Dallas Cowboys' defense showed out in Week 13's win over the New York Giants. They recorded six sacks, a fumble recovery, and a 23-yard pick-six by linebacker DeMarvion Overshown. After an atrocious start to the season, the unit has begun to find a rhythm over the past two weeks. Despite the recent explosions, they should be avoided in Week 14 as they take on Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals in a Monday night showdown with the highest implied point total on the week. Look elsewhere for your fantasy defense this week.
From RotoBaller
Seattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III (ankle, calf) has been downgraded to out for Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals. Walker missed practice every day this week but was initially listed as questionable on Seattle's injury report on Friday. The 24-year-old came out of last Sunday's game with ankle and calf injuries. He played 60% of the snaps, rushing 16 times for 49 yards while catching two of three targets for minus-3 yards in Sunday's 26-21 win over the Jets. Look for Zach Charbonnet to see an increased workload, with Kenny McIntosh backing him up while Walker is sidelined. Seattle also elevated running back George Holani from the practice squad earlier on Saturday. Charbonnet becomes a mid-range RB2 and should be started in all leagues with six teams on the bye.
From RotoBaller
Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson (concussion) is off the injury report after fully practicing all week. Ferguson was knocked out early in Week 11 and has not played over the past two weeks. The 25-year-old is a dart-throw option at tight end in Week 14 given that it is his first game back. He has not scored a touchdown all season long but largely has operated as the number two option in the passing game behind CeeDee Lamb. Taking on a soft Cincinnati secondary on Monday night in a game with the highest implied point total for the week, he is a startable option.
From RotoBaller
Dallas Cowboys kicker Brandon Aubrey shook off a poor Week 12 performance by drilling two-of-two field goal attempts and all three extra points in Week 13 against the New York Giants. This week, he faces one of the most generous matchups in the league as the Cowboys gear up to face the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday night. The 29-year-old has been one of the best kickers in the league this year and even with a less efficient Dallas offense without quarterback Dak Prescott (hamstring), he should be started this week.
From RotoBaller
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb (shoulder) has no injury designation going into Monday night's matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals. Lamb did not practice on Thursday, but was upgraded to limited on Friday and Saturday and cleared having any designation for the game. Lamb reenters WR1 territory in one of the best matchups possible as he gears up to face an atrocious Cincinnati secondary. Do not hesitate to start the star receiver this week.
From RotoBaller
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Brandin Cooks is on the flex radar in deep leagues this week. Cooks does not have an injury designation, as he practiced fully on Friday and Saturday. He garnered seven targets in his first game back after an eight-week absence due to a knee injury. The veteran projects as the third option in the passing game with CeeDee Lamb (shoulder) and Jake Ferguson (concussion) also good to go for Monday. His volume is far from consistent, but the matchup against Cincinnati's soft secondary is too strong to ignore. With six teams on bye this week, Cooks is a viable flex option.
From RotoBaller
Dallas Cowboys quarterback Cooper Rush has been up-and-down since stepping in for Dak Prescott (hamstring) in Week 9. Rush has generally performed well in softer matchups, and he has a very soft one on Monday night as the Cowboys take on the Cincinnati Bengals' 30th-ranked pass defense. While playing him in formats that only utilize one starting quarterback may be a stretch, he is a viable option as a high-end QB2 in Week 14.
From RotoBaller
Dallas Cowboys running back Rico Dowdle finished last week in RB1 range, and a similar outcome is possible on Monday night as Dallas takes on the Cincinnati Bengals. Dowdle has completely taken over the backfield and even with key offensive linemen out, has managed to produce. While Cincinnati's run defense is not quite as weak as their pass defense, it is still a favorable matchup in a game where many points are anticipated to be scored. Fresh off of his first career 100-yard rushing performance, Dowdle should be in lineups this week.
From RotoBaller
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Tutu Atwell should be viewed as a high-risk, desperation flex option in deeper 14+ team formats during Week 14 when he faces the Buffalo Bills. Atwell has been operating as the No.4 option in the Los Angeles wide receiver room and has seen an average of just 2.2 targets per game since Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp returned to action in Week 8. During this span, Atwell has averaged 21.7 yards per game with 3.7 PPR points per game. However, over his past two games, Atwell has seen a slight increase in production, averaging 34.5 yards per game while still seeing two targets in each contest. Given his low target share and current spot on the depth chart, fantasy managers should only view Atwell as a desperation flex option that carries high risk facing a Buffalo secondary that has allowed the fourth-fewest PPR points to opposing wideouts this season.
From RotoBaller
San Francisco 49ers rookie wide receiver Ricky Pearsall should not be started in any formats in Week 14 when he faces the Chicago Bears. The former first-round selection has seen three targets over the past three games but has been unable to come down with any of them. However, during Weeks 7 through 10, the Florida product averaged a modest 11.4 PPR points per game. While Pearsall is deployed as the clear No.3 wide receiver, he has been unable to find much consistency in the passing attack behind Deebo Samuel Sr., Jauan Jennings, and tight end George Kittle. However, with Christian McCaffrey (knee) and Jordan Mason (ankle) sidelined, the 49ers may rely on their passing attack more often down the stretch. However, given his lack of production over the past month, fantasy managers should not consider starting him for the foreseeable future.
From RotoBaller
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Cleveland Browns have signed wide receiver Kadarius Toney to the active roster. Toney has appeared in two games this season with the Browns after bouncing between the active roster and the practice squad. Seeing him join the roster on Saturday suggests he will likely suit up for his second-straight contest this weekend. On Monday evening, Toney could not bring in his lone target and added three yards on one carry. In this game, Toney saw just six offensive snaps. After tallying 420 yards during his rookie campaign, the former first-round selection has not found any consistency at the professional level. Toney should remain on your waiver wire until further notice.
From RotoBaller
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Carolina Panthers linebacker Jadeveon Clowney (knee) has been downgraded to out for Sunday's match against the Philadelphia Eagles. The 31-year-old was initially expected to play even after carrying a questionable designation following Friday's practice. However, the veteran linebacker was unable to pass clearance and will set his sights on returning in Week 15 to face the Dallas Cowboys. Since Week 8, Clowney has tallied 4.2 tackles per game (2.4 solo) with nine total assists and 2.5 total sacks. With Clowney sidelined, fantasy managers in IDP formats should expect DJ Johnson and Cam Gill to see an uptick in opportunities. The Carolina defense should not be considered as a potential streaming option as they will face a high-flying Philadelphia offense that is led by star running back Saquon Barkley, who could very well set a new single season rushing record.
From RotoBaller
According to Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network, Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman (knee) was placed on Injured Reserve. The 26-year-old sustained this knee injury during Friday's practice and will now miss at least the next four contests. Hardman has been deployed as a depth receiver this year, as he has seen most of his work on special teams while operating as the top return man. After not catching a single pass during the first four games of the season, Hardman has caught 12 of his 14 targets since Week 5 for 90 total yards. He has also added 62 yards and a score on the ground. In fantasy formats that score return yards, managers should expect rookie Xavier Worthy to potentially return kicks (he already returns punts) or rookie Carson Steele, who is currently listed as the No. 2 return man.
From RotoBaller
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, New York Jets running back Breece Hall (knee) has been downgraded to out for Sunday's divisional tilt against the Miami Dolphins. Hall was labeled as doubtful on Friday's injury report and was already facing an uphill battle to suit up. As a result, fantasy managers should expect rookie Braelon Allen to operate as the lead option out of the backfield. Allen showed some upside early in the season, averaging a solid 4.5 yards per carry during the first five weeks, but he has struggled since and has averaged a mere 2.8 yards per carry from Week 6 and on. In addition, last weekend the No. 3 option on the depth chart, Isaiah Davis, excelled as a receiver and could see a significant amount of third-down opportunities on Sunday. Fantasy managers should view Allen as an RB2 based on volume but should temper expectations given his poor efficiency. Davis could be a viable RB3 in PPR formats given his receiving skills.
From RotoBaller
Las Vegas Raiders running back Sincere McCormick has been given an opportunity in recent weeks to make noise in Vegas' backfield with both Alexander Mattison (ankle) and Zamir White (quadriceps) missing the last two contests. In losses to the Broncos and Chiefs, McCormick has seen 17 carries for 97 yards while catching two passes for one yard. White has already been ruled out for Week 14 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, with Mattison listed as questionable. The 24-year-old has operated behind Ameer Abdullah in the No. 2 role, but the Raiders like the energy he brings to the offense, and he could continue to see more work this weekend if Mattison misses his third straight game. Fantasy managers desperate for a RB with six teams on bye in Week 14 could look McCormick's way as an RB3/flex, but it's probably only wise to do so if Mattison is inactive again on Sunday.
From RotoBaller
Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Tre Tucker has a nice matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 14 and could see added targets with fellow receiver Jakobi Meyers expected to play through an ankle injury on Sunday. Tucker only had a season-low one target in the Week 13 loss to the division-rival Kansas City Chiefs, but he made the most of it, going for a 58-yard touchdown. The previous week against the Broncos, he caught seven of eight targets for 82 yards, his second-highest receiving total of the year. Tampa's secondary is vulnerable, as they've been a top-10 matchup for receivers in 2024 in terms of PPR points allowed per game. The 23-year-old has been tough to trust in fantasy, as he has three or fewer catches in nine of 12 games. However, he may be worth a dart throw WR4/flex play in deeper leagues this weekend with six teams on bye.
From RotoBaller
Las Vegas Raiders running back Ameer Abdullah (foot) could serve as the team's primary back for the third straight week in Week 14 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. Zamir White (quadriceps) has been ruled out already, while Alexander Mattison (ankle) is questionable and is in danger of missing his third straight game. Abdullah was on the injury report himself this week due to a foot injury, but he practiced in fully on Thursday and Friday and won't carry an injury designation into Sunday's contest. With the lead-back job the last two games in losses to Denver and KC, Abdullah carried the ball 18 times for 67 yards (3.72 yards per carry) while adding seven receptions for 51 yards and a TD. The 31-year-old will be an RB3/flex in fantasy, at best, against Tampa if Mattison is out again. However, the upside is limited in this Vegas offense, especially with rookie Sincere McCormick getting more run of late.
