Ok, well, at the very least I have to give you credit for going “all in” with the “sell”…but it was completely unnecessary (since I was taking Caleb at 1.01, not Marv) and now it paints you as untrustworthy in your intentions during negotiations. Not that it seems to matter to you, I guess since it’s just a game we play…
Here was my honest plan…I was willing to pass on Caleb if I could get a move up of 1.09 into the Top 5 to take a QB (probably Daniels at 1.02, if you took Caleb at 1.01) and a WR, but since you only offered 1.06 and Marv, Nabers, and Odunze would be gone, I couldn’t do it. I liked Bowers at 1.06 and thought hard about it, but to drop down from Caleb to Daniels and not get the value of one of those Top 3 WRs, it was a no-go. So, glad I still ended up getting Bowers at 1.09 because it essentially worked out as if we made the deal anyway…but man, that was a lot of wasted time going through all that
