That’s how I was kinda looking at it. Obviously you need a buyer who is willing to pay. If you don’t you relax the price. Will not mention players names because of the future draft, but Dowdle is being drafted higher than who will be there. Definitely see that range being within the value and not laughable. However would have taken less considering cutdowns and roster space and such. Just because the value as a player is there, don’t mean it’s there when someone needs to get under that player cap. 

That said, I was only trying to not cut another player who is actually of lesser value (but absolutely had no trade value) who I like. In the process, guess I’ll be happy to keep Dowdle as a depth piece. Did a little more study on him and he looks “maybe not great, but solid”. Watching him, kinda reminded me of Duce Staley with his feet and vision. 

Keep on hustlin boys. Worst case let em get dropped and we see where he gets drafted. My best guess is Dowdle gets snagged around early to mid Round 3 when you run outta RB options of any value. Not as bad as AJ DILLON hahaha. Even though for same reason he would go at same spot range just INCASE. Dart throw handcuff desperation lol, but way worse than Dowdle cause we seen him suck.

I always strictly look at it this way… value is what someone pays… or just imagine the player available in rookie draft and where does he go? While a 2nd round sounds dramatic, when you are choosing between rookies that late who are handcuffs and not even a starter, you can argue a winning team who needs a starter will blow that surprising early pick on him. Whether its late 2nd or late 3rd. I think Dowdle is a time share and a value thats guaranteed action as a 6-8 point back and Zeke could go down any minute or Dowdle could push for those 8-16 point games in the meantime.

Look at the drafts so far. I’ve looked at the average draft positions(in re-draft leagues), he is being drafted at least one round ahead of most of the guys that will be available in the rookie draft. Also, I looked at value charts and he is about equal in value points for 2.8. And valued several points higher than several of the guys that will be available in the rookie draft at 2.8.

If ya not into him, that’s cool. It’s not like I think he is a top 10 RB potential. Hence the asking of 20th pick and not the 3rd overall. Maybe do your homework before you start !?!?!?!?
