All good points!! I have seen and played every version of dynasty, I like contracts best but most leagues don't use them. In the league I created we have a RFA draft, Rookie draft, and UFA draft. Keeps people active and it is fun. I like this league, I have another dynasty where we keep only 9 contracts/ starting lineup, and turnover the other 11. It is pretty cool, 2 4yr guys, 3 3yr guys, 4 2 yr guys. Everyone else is 1 year and turns over each year...pretty cool.

The league is what it is and the rules are what they are and fair for all of us, but agree I’d rather not cut down rosters so drastically and we should have a rookie only draft. I’d like a permanent 20 man roster and then draft 4 or 5 rounds of rookies each year. I think cutting down to 14 is too extreme for a dynasty league. It makes it hard to stash a guy for a couple of years (especially without a taxi squad). But I like this league and have fun with it. It’s all good.

We each have our own experience. I have been playing FFB for 25 years back to newspapers and excel. I also created my own franchise dynasty league 10+ years ago with a 10 page charter. So you have had your experience and I have had mine. Based on my experience there is nothing wrong with this league everyone is different. Thanks for your thoughts and furthet explanation.

Weird since I'm in and have been in many dynasty leagues and most run the way I said. Only rookies getting drafter. 3 to 4 rounds max. Drafting veterans is dumb since you can do that at any point by dropping and adding players

Actually, that is how many dynasty leagues work just not this one. Taxi squad, although I am a fan, is not that common.

That's not how dynasty works. You're only supposed to be drafting rookies and not forced to drop veterans before the draft to draft more veterans. Also should have a taxi squad
