Why, back in my day we played with concussions, broken bones, an old athletic sock for a jock and if you had a wad of bazooka Joe , well you had a mighty fine mouthpiece. Course other teams would try and steal your bubble gum mouthpiece when you were helpless at the bottom of a pile.

Excellent points as always, short bench in the BDFL, plus up to 14 teams. It's hard to pivot when you are waiting on players to come back from injury, or waiting for players to emerge. It's all a gamble with luck a major piece of the draft equation.

Some of mine was my own doing with Chubb and TJ. They did come with a discount, but it's hamstrung my whole roster with them clogging up the bench. Add in the in-season injuries, and I had 10 players last week (and started 9 of them).
And those numbers aren't even counting Waddle and other Miami players who are essentially injury casualties as well.
Oh well...still trying to piece something together and hope for a late run...and staying as far away from injured players as I can in next year's draft!
Injury impact after the first 5 weeks. I didn't know where the data would lead. Stinger obviously obliterated by the CMC developments. I'm sure I missed a couple players, but tried to collect impactful players/weeks missed/cost of said player, them combined per team. Also didn't pull dropped players so data may be a little off. (I'm sure I'll hear about it!)
