Oh, and there's no shot I'm running a 40 yard dash or forking out any money for this league. I do enough shit in the background for this league. You can take my name off of that list.

As always, I agree with half of your post. I'm 100% with Kyle.

Sorry, I was not verifying all of my players didn't get suspended the morning before game time. I'm not going to in the future either. I don't have Twitter or X or whatever it's called. I don't watch pre game stuff and I don't play attention to Buffalo Bills football.

The league has spoken on the poll.

Who is running the 40-yard dash so far to pay the league fee that Kyle has so generously covered the past 5-6 years?

Hanson
Marn
T-Mac?

The league is definitely different from year’s past. Call it casual… call it what you want

We’re still elite fantasy minds with free agents joining teams 2-3 weeks before the regular dynasty world, and our rules are elite, but others things are slipping.

The day an “elite” fantasy league accepts that not taking 5 minutes to set a lineup is OK is a joke IMO. Set a fucking active lineup or post a contingency if you may miss something. It’s not hard. I also think it’s an obligation signing up for the league.

And I’d argue it’s easier for us to set a lineup these days with families than before when we were drinking jag bombs until 4 in the morning.

Call me confused the past month when we seem to care more about policing someone trying to set their lineup at deadline over someone who literally admitted to not caring.

We shouldn’t need any policing at this point, but this league has proven again that we can’t get out of our own way.

11 full hours?!?!

Seriously. We need to have a real talk this off-season with the way we handle these 9 million rules we have just to stop people from being assholes.

Minnick is onto something good with his proposal of handling each situation individually as they are all different and have different intentions.

2007.....I posted last week and before that I'm pretty sure I posted in July or August. I'm basically a regular on these message boards. Sorry if I refrain from joining the same stupid fucking conversations every year.

So a player was a surprise inactive 90 minutes prior to kickoff and Marn didn't catch it.....who gives a shit! It had no outcome on the result. There was no intent on Marn's part. There are many weeks I look at my lineup at 9am and not again until after kickoff.....I've just gotten lucky it hasn't biten me in the ass. My top priority is not my fantasy football lineup and sometimes life gets in the way.

Everyone needs to stop acting like this ruined the league and is a bug deal......get over it.

For the sake of clarity...Marn's guy was ruled out 11-12 HOURS before kickoff. Mine was ruled out like an hour before an 8:30am kickoff in Europe.

Not sure what my post has to do with you or your situation.....but way to make it about you. So it was 11 hours....again, big deal... So replace "90 mins" with "11hours" in my post.....the rest of it is still true. I dont believe i said a word about your situation....it's done with, get over it

Literally 11 against 1 then that it shouldn't have been allowed.

BUT! Again, as I said, you starting an inactive guy that week should not have led to punishment as Kyle and Minnick have both said too. It wouldn't have mattered and there was clearly going to be no intent. It's not like you were trying to tank.

Just like I said in my previous post, we need to discuss this crap during the off-season this year. I am not at all for having blanket punishments. Canada starting a surprise inactive player should not hold the same penalty as someone benching a player and tanking purposefully.

For a reality check I also said I should have been told to pound sand asking for it to be changed. Check the message board. I’m pro Marn dictatorship and if that means he wants to poll it…

Thank GOD Kyle is in this league. If he ever bows out, we need to just shut it down.

All in all, I agree with Minnick. All this crap that can't be controlled by settings on the website needs to be voted on for a case by base basis.

Did I fuck up, yep. Did I mean to and would it have mattered?? Nope. Me starting an inactive player is usually as good as half of the players Jimmer trots out there on a weekly basis.

By no means is what I did or what Canada would have done if Jimmer didn't step in the same as what Boese, Jimmer and others have abused back in the day by sitting players to tank.

Those are my final thoughts. More should be discussed this off-season or at the draft.
